교류쵸퍼와 보조변압기를 사용한 직렬보상형 교류전압제어장치

본 논문에서는 교류쵸퍼와 직렬보상변압기로 구성되는 교류전압제어장치에 대하여 연구한다. 먼저, 교류쵸퍼와 직렬보상변압기로 구성되는 기본적인 교류전압제어장치로 출력전압을 입력전압에서 10-20%정도 강압할 수 있는 형태의 강압형 교류전압 제어장치를 제안하고 기본동작원리 및 이의 안전한 운전을 위한 PWM 발생과 초기시퀀스로직을 제시하였다. 또한 이로부터 입력전압변동에 무관하게 일정 출력전압을 발생시키기 위한 자동전압제어장치(AVR: Automatic Voltage Regulator)로 사용가능한 두가지 형태의 직렬보상형 교류전압제어장치를 제안하고 동작원리를 기술하였다. 특히, 입력전압과 반대방향의 극성의 전압을 발생시킬 수 있는 새로운 형태의 양방향 교류쵸퍼를 제안하고, 이의 안전한 운전을 위한 PWM 발생을 위한 스위칭 패턴을 제시하였다. 제안된 교류전압제어회로의 경우 다양한 실험을 통하여 전력절감을 목적으로 하는 강압형 교류전압제어장치와 자동전압조절기의 용도로 효과적으로 적용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. This paper describes an AC voltage regulator using AC chopper and auxiliary transformer which is series connected with main input. It has many advantages such as fast voltage control, high efficiency and low THD. A detail study of step down AC voltage regulator is described and two kinds of novel step-up/down voltage regulator for AVR application are proposed. The operation principle and PWM method of the proposed regulator are described. Experimental results show that it can be used as AC voltage regulator for special purpose very efficiently.
퍼지PI 제어기를 사용한 스위치드 리럭턴스 전동기의 속도제어

This paper deals with the speed control of the switched reluctnace motor using fuzzy PI controller. A fuzzy logic control provides a good approach to nonlinear system because it does not require a detailed mathematical model to formulate the algorithm. The fuzzy PI controller is implemented by MCS80C196KB, a 16 bit one-chip microcontroller, and an EPROM is used for the commutation logic of the SRM. The simulation and experimental results show that the performance of the fuzzy PI controller is superior to that of the conventional PI controller in terms of response time, settling time and overshoot. In particular, the robustness of the system is largely improved.
보조 정류회로를 활용한 통합된 5 kW 급 소형 제논 램프 전원장치

This paper deals with the integrated 5 kW xenon flash lamp power supply. In order to drive a xenon lamp used in an application field of light sintering of printed electronics, the power supply in consideration of load characteristics is required. The simmer power supply that maintains the xenon lamp's ignition is designed based on an LCC resonant converter with both voltage and current source characteristics. Also, an auxiliary rectifier and trigger applying high voltage are required to ignite the xenon lamp. And the power supply is designed based on a boost-type resonance circuit and a Cockcroft Walton voltage multiplier, respectively, in consideration of sharing the inverter with the simmer. This paper analyzes the topology of the proposed power supplies and selects the parameters and confirms them through simulation. Finally it was verified through experiments that the output voltages of the simmer, the auxiliary rectifier, and the trigger were 20 V, 400 V, and 10 kV, respectively.

In this paper, a novel new pulse power generator based on IGBT stacks is proposed for pulse power application. Because it can generate up to 60㎸ pulse output voltage without any step- up transformer or pulse forming network, it has advantages of fast rising time, easiness of pulse width variation and rectangular pulse shape. Proposed scheme consists of series connected 9 power stages to generate maximum 60㎸ output pulse and one series resonant power inverter to charge DC capacitor voltage. Each power stages are configured as 8 series connected power cells and each power cell generates up to 850VDC pulse. Finally pulse output voltage is applied using total 72 series connected IGBTs. To reduce component for gate power supply, a simple and robust gate drive circuit is proposed. For gating signal synchronization, full bridge inverter and pulse transformer generates on-off signals of IGBT gating with gate power simultaneously and it has very good characteristics of short circuit protection.
