This qualitative study analyzes the data collected from parents of young children with disability to suggest ways of improving "inclusive child care" experiences for young children with disabilities. Subjects, 9 parents of young children with disabilities who had been in inclusive child care programs, participated in 2 in-depth interviews and 2 group interviews from July to December 2011. From these interviews, it was discovered that 1) before their children were enrolled in inclusive child care, parents had to put themselves through processes of a) coming out of the disability closet to face the prejudice of their society and then b) of accepting and overcoming "disability", 2) These parents then interpreted their inclusive child care experiences as being a new model, in effect, they saw it as a different system that practiced reverse discrimination among parents, 3) After their experiences with inclusive child care programs, these parents were still hoping to see the establishment of various types of inclusive child care provisions that could better accommodate their needs: inclusive child care that supports parents; social support for inclusive child care; and better linkage between inclusive education for pre-school children with elementary school children.
