The objective of this study was investigated to apply the fucoidan and laminarin extract from low-grade Undaria pinnatifida to real food product, a pork patty. Pork patties added with fucoidan and laminarin showed lower lipid oxidation and the inhibition against lipid oxidation was shown to be dependent on the irradiation doses. The Hunter color values of pork patty added with fucoidan increased significantly with an increase of irradiation dose. The hardness profiles of the patties with fucoidan and laminarin was decreased, but the amount of water in the patties was increased. Also, the combination of gamma irradiation and addition of fucoidan and laminarin was shown to be effective for the microbiological control. These results suggested that gamma irradiation and fucoidan and laminarin treatment showed the positive effect on microbial stability and quality of the pork patty.

Effects of light and grazing on the biomass development of periphyton were evaluated using natural and artificial substrata (unglazed tile: 3.7×9.5x2cm) in a partially shaded 2nd order mountain stream. In open canopy (relative light input 20∼50%), a relatively high biomass (chl. a: 9.5±3.0 mg/m^2, n=25) was maintained than that of closed canopy(<6% of light input. 3.2±0.9 mg/m^2, n= 17). Due to shading and frequent rainfalls, biomass was lower during the summer than in the spring and winter. During the spring, colonization of periphyton on artificial substrata occurred faster than in winter and it took a minimum of 5∼6 weeks to reach the biomass of natural substrata (8∼9mg/m^2). When snails were allowed to freely enter the chamber (mean density: 114 ind./m^2) with artificial substrata, biomass accumulation (chl. a, AFDW) was low compared to the snail excluded enclosure (50∼90% of ungrazed substrata). It was concluded that the light input on periphyton biomass In a partially shaded stream played a more important role than glazing.

Objectives : We conducted an epidemiologic survey to evaluate the effect of the aircraft noise exposure on the health of the residents near the military airbases in Pyeongtaek City. Methods : The evaluation of environmental noise level, questionnaire survey, and health examination were performed for 917 residents. The study population consisted of four groups: subjects who lived in the village close to the fighter airbase (high exposure), subjects who lived along the course of fighters (intermediate exposure), and subjects near a helicopter airbase, and the control group. Results : The prevalence of the aircraft noise related accident and irritable bowel syndrome in the exposure groups were higher than that of the control group. The risks of noise induced hearing loss, hypertension and diabetes mellitus were higher in the exposed groups than in the control group. The prevalence of anxiety disorder and primary insomnia were higher in the exposed groups than in the control group. Prevalence odd ratios of the risk for primary insomnia after adjusting age, sex, agricultural noise, and occupation were 4.03 [95% confidence interval (95% Cl) 1.56-10.47] for the subject near the helicopter airbase, 1.23 (95% Cl 0.40-3.76) for those intermediately exposed to fighter noise, and 4.99 (95% Cl 2.14-11.64) for those highly exposed to fighter noise. Conclusions : The results of the present study suggest that the aircraft noise may have adverse effects on hearing function, cardiovascular health and mental health. Therefore, it seems to be needed to take proper measures including the control of the aircraft noise and the management of the exposed people's health.

This study aims to examine the general trend of novels written by Soviet-Korean in C I S. Soviet-Koreans in this Central Asian area have moved from the Far Eastern area of Russia by the enforcement of the Stalinian policy of deportation in 1937. The authors have written a number of novels describing the life of diaspora experienced by Korean residents. To be more specific, the main focus of these novels is centered onto the issues such as the adaptation to the socialist system, the discord or accord with the different nation, the self-identity, and so on. The representative authors and their works are as follow: Seil Kim`s HongBeomDo and Jun Kim`s A happening of one hundred and fifty thousand won that depict the heros of anti-Japanese fight, Gicheol Kim`s When red stars were seen and a group works, The melody of Syrdarya that praise the socialism, sunflower and ``자말러, you are my life that treat the agony of identity as Koreans in a foreign country, and several works of Anatoli Kim and Lee-Jin that reflect the times of the various open door, On the whole, each novel expresses successfully the scenes of life with a different ideology and in the unfamiliar environment and embodies such troubles adequately into the form of literature. However, there also exist some problems of the plain development of plot. the dichotomic way of thinking, the excessive exposure of the theme, and so forth. After the collapse of the Soviet Union around 1990. a rapid conversion of direction toward modernism has occurred. With the opening of the exchange gate between Korea and CIS, there have been many changes in the content and publication of the works. More extensive research is needed.
자가동영상을 활용한 디브리핑 학습의 효과: 흡인간호 실습교육을 중심으로

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of a suction care self video-based debriefing-assisted learning in the fundamentals of nursing practice for nursing students on clinical performance, self-efficacy and problem-solving process. Methods: A nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design study was used and included 97 junior nursing students at P University as participants, 48 of whom were assigned to the experimental group, and 49 of whom were assigned to the control group. The outcome measurements were clinical performance for suction care, self-efficacy, and the problem-solving process. Results: The scores of clinical performance were 23.75 in the experimental group who used the materials and 21.55 in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (p<.000). Self-efficacy was 4.30 in the experimental group and 4.18 in the control group, which was a statistically significant difference (p=.000), and the pre-to-post differences of self-efficacy was statistically significant as well (p<.001). However, there were no significant differences in the pre-to-post differences of the problem-solving process (p<.802). Conclusions: Self video-based debriefing-assisted learning may be more effective in enhancing clinical performance and self-efficacy than that of conventional practice. Whether self-efficacy will contribute to enhanced learning motivation for nursing students needs further examination.
경남지역 시설잎들깨에서 발생되는 육산 달팽이(병안목)의 종류

The species of land snails (Stylommatophora) that feed on perilla plants were observed under leaf perilla greenhouses cultivated in the Milyang and Busan areas. Four species of land snails were recorded. Among them, three species were slugs, Meghimatium bilineatum in Phlomycidae, Deroceras reticula tum, and Limax marginatus in Limacidae, and one species was the snail Acusta despecta sieboldiana in Bradybaenidae. D. reticulatum occurred most frequently followed by A. despecta sieboldiana, L. marginatus and M bilineatum. Annually, land snails showed two peaks in the middle of April and in late November for D. reticulatum, early May to middle November for A. despecta sieboldiana, and middle April and early November for L. marginatus. M bilineatum, however, did not show any clear peak because of its low population occurrence. 밀양과 부산지역에서 시설잎들깨를 가해하는 육산 달팽이의 종류를 조사하였다. 총 4종의 달팽이류가 조사되었는데, 민달팽이류 3종, 즉 민달팽이과(Phlomycidae)의 민달팽이(Meghimatium bilineatum), 뾰족민달팽이과(Limacidae)의 작은뾰족민탈팽이(Deroceras reticulatum)와 두줄민달팽이(Limax marginatus), 그리고 달팽이과의 달팽이(Acusta despecta sieboldiana) l종 이었다. 달팽이류의 발생량은 작은뾰족민달팽이가 가장 많았으며, 다음은 달팽이>두줄민달팽이>민달팽이의 순이었다. 시설 잎들깨에서 달팽이류는 연중 2 번의 발생피크를 나타내었다. 즉, 작은뾰족빈달팽이는 4월 중순과 11월 하순, 달팽이는 5월 상순과 11월 중순, 두줄민달팽이는 4윌 중순과 11월 상순이었다. 하지만 민달팽이는 발생량이 매우 낮아 발생피크가 뚜렷하지 않았다.

Y doped zinc oxide (YZO) thin films were deposited on F doped $SnO_2$ (FTO) glass substrate by sol-gel method using the spin-coating system. A homogeneous and stable solution was prepared by dissolving acetate in the solution added diethanolamine as sol-gel stabilizer. YZO films were obtained after preheated on the hot-plate for 5minute before each coating; the number of coating was 3 times. After the coating of last step, annealing of YZO films performed at $450^{\circ}C$ for 30 minute. In order to confirming of a ultraviolet ray interruption and down-conversion effects, optical properties of YZO films, transmission spectrum and fluorescent spectrum were used. Also, for understanding the obtained results by experiment, the elestronic state of YZO was calculated using the density functional theory The results obtained by experiment were compared with calculated structure. The detail of electronic structure was obtained by the discrete variational Xa (DV-Xa) method, which is a sort of molecular orbital full potential method. The density of state and energy levels of dopant element were shown and discussed in association with optical properties.
