The main purpose of this research was to fabricate carbon nanofiber (CNF) mats with a high thermal conductivity, by electrospinning of poly(acrylonitrile) (PAN) and subsequent thermal treatment. To improve the thermal conductivity of the CNF mats, isotropic and mesophase pitches were co-axially electrospun with a PAN shell. The mesophase pitch in this research was prepared by thermal treatment from isotropic pitch, and the structural properties were evaluated by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. The contact resistance between CNFs in mats was effectively reduced by wetting of the PAN shell using ethanol and the formation of a networked structure during thermal processing. The thermal conductivity of the resulting CNF mats was measured by a laser flash method, and a significantly improved thermal conductivity was obtained for isotropic pitch-PAN CNF mats. This is attributed to a networked structure, a well-developed carbon structure, and a reduced contact resistance.
초등학생의 스포츠참여에 따른 자아탄력성이 일탈행동에 미치는 영향: 학업스트레스의 매개효과를 중심으로

This study examined how elementary school students’ sports participation affects ego-resilience as well as the deviant behavior, and it verified the mediated effect of academic pressure. A total of 309 students in grade 5 and 6 were participated in this study. Baron and Kenny‘s method, simple linear regression, multiple regression analysis were used to prove the following results. Firstly, results revealed that there were mutual influences among ego-resilience, academic pressure and deviant behavior. Ego-resilience and deviant behavior has a negative correlation whereas academic pressure and deviant behavior has a positive correlation. Secondly, academic pressure was considered to play a partial mediating role between the ego-resilience and deviant behavior. Some implications and suggestions were discussed based on the findings of the study.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the order of the five phases that changed according to classics and the times. In order to accomplish the purpose of the study, it was arranged based on an analysis on the related classics and the precedent books. The result has found that the order of the five phases has changed several times. The key points are as follows: First, it’s the order in Hongbeom (洪範). Second, it’s the order of Wǔxíng Xiāngshèng (相勝) of the five phases. Third, it’s the order of Wŭxíng Xiāngshēng (相⽣) of the five phases. Accordingly, it concluded that the order of the five phases began from the order of creating all things of Hongbeom and changed to the order of Wŭxíng Xiāngshēng of the five phases of the rhythm of the seasons. The study is meaningful in that it studied the order of the five phases which changed the classics and the times. However, it has the limit that it just proved that ‘Water (⽔)’ takes the lead in Hongbeom and did not clarify the order of the five phases in other books. Therefore, follow-up studies on this are required.

This paper described a study on diagnostics exhaust gas NOx of In-use Vehicle. We used KD-147, PEMS for NOx testing equipments, we checked car’s exhaust gases in real time by these equipmants. Among the rest we analyzed NOx. As a result we assured that exhaust gas is decreased gradually but NOx is rapidly increased after 2005.

We propose an integrated text summarization and text-to-speech framework which summarizes Korean documents into a few sentences and reads them in a specific person’s voice. In our framework, a pre-trained text summarization model (KoBART) is fine-tuned with an additional news-oriented text summarization dataset. Then, the fine-tuned model is compressed by knowledge distillation (DistilKoBART) to improve computational efficiency. For text-to-speech, Tacotron 2 and Waveglow models are used. To generate a natural speech sample, we design a task-specific transliteration module that converts numeric or English expressions into Korean. The experimental results show that the proposed framework effectively summarizes long documents and provides a human-like synthesized voice. The proposed framework can provide convenience such as fast information delivery to busy modern people or effectively deliver information to users in special situations such as drivers and people with low vision.

This paper presents an implementation of a streaming system which can forward live video stream to multiple users from a Phantom4, which is a drone made by DJI. We constructed the streaming server on Raspberry Pi 3 board for high mobility. Also We implemented the system so that the video stream can be played on any devices if the HTML5 standard web browser is utilized. We compiled C codes of FFmpeg open sources and installed in the Raspberry Pi3 as the streaming server and developed a Java application to execute as the integrated server that controls the other softwares on the streaming server. Also we developed an Android application which receives the live video stream from the drone and sends the streaming server continuously. The implemented system in this paper can successfully stream the live video on 24 frames per second at the resolution of 148x112 in considering the low hardware throughput of the streaming server.

A number of construction companies in Korea invest considerable human and financial resources to construct a system for managing apartment defect data and for categorizing repair tasks. Thus, this study proposes machine learning models to automatically classify defect complaint text-data into one of the sub categories of ‘finishing work’ (i.e., one of the defect repair tasks). In the proposed models, we employed two word representation methods (Bag-of-words, Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF)) and two machine learning classifiers (Support Vector Machine, Random Forest). In particular, we conducted both binary- and multi- classification tasks to classify 9 sub categories of finishing work: home appliance installation work, paperwork, painting work, plastering work, interior masonry work, plaster finishing work, indoor furniture installation work, kitchen facility installation work, and tiling work. The machine learning classifiers using the TF-IDF representation method and Random Forest classification achieved more than 90% accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. We shed light on the possibility of constructing automated defect classification systems based on the proposed machine learning models.

This study investigated the perception of science philosophy education targeting 150 elementary school teachers in metropolitan cities and provinces. The questionnaire survey on the perception of the philosophy of science education was composed of a 5-point Likert scale based on the interest and experience of the philosophy of science, the reason for difficulty in using it, and the introduction method, the expected effect. As a result of the survey, elementary school teachers’ awareness of the interest and necessity of the philosophy of science was generally high, while the experience of learning and teaching the philosophy of science was low. In addition, to the reason why it was difficult to utilize the philosophy of science, teachers answered that there was insufficient teacher training and development of teaching and learning methods. As a way to introduce the philosophy of science in science education, it was thought that it was necessary to combine the concept learning and inquiry method, and elementary school teachers’ perception of the expected effect of using the philosophy of science was generally high. The results of this study are meaningful in that they provide basic data on the direction of the introduction of the philosophy of science in elementary science education.
