This paper illustrates a comparative analysis on the economic efficiency of remodeling method that is one of major factors in setting more desirable standards and proposes to utilize LCC calculation techniques in generating a required budget for more effective quantity-based analysis that is both objective and effect. Rather than comparing only the initial cost of two different methods, it seems through to compare their entire life cycle cost that includes any repair and reconstruction/ remodeling expenses, thus generate overall quantitative analysis in objective perspective

The dispersion behaviour of disperse dyes under the dyeing condition was assessed by turbidity ratio, which increased with decreasing particle size of dyes. The four different dye dispersions of C.I. Disperse Blue 56 and C.I. Disperse Yellow 54 were prepared by milling presscake for 1 and 25 hours. The turbidity ratio of the dispersions having large particle size rapidly increased above 10$0^{\circ}C$, but that of metastable form decreased during cooling step. Whereas those of small particle size decreased as dyeing proceeded. It could be monitored that the particle size of dyes not adsorbed by polyester fiber were enlarged during dyeing process. The dyes with small particle size showed lower exhaustion value than larger ones at first, but eventually showed higher values above 13$0^{\circ}C$.

We investigated whether an aqueous extract of Rehmannia glutinosa steamed root (RGAE) inhibits secretion of inflammatory cytolanes from primary cultures of mouse astrocytes. RGAE dose-dependently inhibited the $TNF-{\alpha}$ secretion by astrocytes stimulated with substance P (SP) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Interleukin-1 (IL-1) has been shown to elevate $TNF-{\alpha}$ secretion from LPS-stimulated astrocytes while having no effect on astrocytes in the absence of LPS. We therefore also investigated whether IL-1 mediated inhibition of $TNF-{\alpha}$ secretion from primary astrocytes by RGAE. Treatment of RGAE to astrocytes stimulated with both LPS and SP decreased IL-1 secretion to the level observed with LPS alone. Moreover, incubation of astrocytes with IL-1 antibody abolished the synergistic cooperative effect of LPS and SP. These results suggest that RGAE has an antiinflammatory activity on the central nervous system curing some pathological disease states.

This study is on the analysis of the site for the fortress by means of photogrammetry. Analysis of the historical site No.57, Nam Han Mt. fortress, was done by means of aerial photogrammetry which has high accuracy in plane coordinate system and terrestrial photogrammetry which has high accuracy in height coordinate system. The size and degree of slope of the fortress was analysed with reference to the topographic map which had been plotted by aerial photogrammetry. Terrestrial camera P 32 was used to survey and plot the Southern gate region which made it possible to acquire the quantitative data for fortress analysis.

Dyeing properties of poly(ethylene terephthalate) and cotton modified with cationic agents were investigated. N-methylol compounds such as N-methylolacrylamide(NMA) are highly reactive toward cotton in the presence of Lewis acid catalysts. Modified cotton with NMA has the pendant double bond as a site for Michael addition to various amines such as ethylene diamine(ED), methylamine and so on. NMA is expected to react with terminal hydroxy group of PET, and ED causes the aminolysis of ester groups of PET main chain besides the modified PET with NMA. Therefore PET and cotton modified with NMA and ED have acid dyeing sites and cotton had a good dyeing property for acid dye even at low concentration of ED. High concentration of ED was needed for acct dyeable PET in exchange for the physical properties of the fiber. PET modified with ED have amino functional groups which act as ligands to transition metals and form metal chelate resin. This enables PET to be dyed with 1:1 metal complex dye.
