        아동·청소년을 위한 성격대표강점 활용 집단 프로그램 개발: 임상군을 위한 예비연구

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of signature strengths use group intervention based on character strengths for children and adolescents in clinical group. 8 children and adolescents(age 12~14, male 5, female 3) in clinical group were participated in 100 minutes group interventions per week for 26 weeks. All participants completed scales employed for this study such as VIA-Youth short version, Psychological Well-Being Scale(PWBS), and Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule(PANAS) across pretest and posttest. The results were as follows: participants in the character signature strengths use group intervention showed significant difference in psychological well-being, especially in self-acceptance and environmental mastery subscales. However, perception of character virtues and positive affect and negative affect didn’t improve after the intervention. The main contribution of this research is application of signature strengths use group intervention for children and adolescents in clinical group. 본 연구의 목적은 임상군 아동·청소년을 대상으로 성격대표강점 활용 집단 개입 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과성을 검증하는 것이다. 참여대상은 서울 소재 아동·청소년 정신재활시설을 이용하는 아동·청소년 8명(만12세~14세, 남 5명, 여 3명)으로 정서행동장애 범주의 진단하에 약물치료를 병행하는 임상군이다. 본 프로그램은 VIA에 따른 6개의 덕목내 24개 하위 성격강점을 인식하고 활용하기 위해 개발되었다. 하위 성격강점 24개를 2회기에 걸쳐 교육 및 활용할 수 있도록 구성되었으며, 매회기 50분씩 52회기가 26주간 시행되었다. 본 프로그램 시행 전후, 참여 아동·청소년을 대상으로 청소년용 성격강점 척도(VIA-Youth) 단축형, 심리적 안녕감 척도(PWBS)와 한국판 정적 정서 및 부적 정서 척도(PANAS)를 실시하여 단일집단 사전사후설계로 대응표본 t검증을 통한 효과성 검증을 시행하였다. 분석 결과, 본 프로그램을 시행한 후 참여 아동· 청소년들의 심리적 안녕감이 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 성격덕목에 대한 인식에는 유의한 변화가 나타나지 않았고 긍정 정서와 부정 정서의 변화 역시 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 본연구에서는 정서행동장애의 임상군 아동·청소년을 대상으로 성격강점 활용 개입프로그램을 시행했다는데 의의를 지닌다.

        Orthographic Input and the Acquisition of Second Language Phonology: A Review

Research in the field of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) has attempted to understand how learners acquire a new phonological system, taking account of various universal and developmental factors. The type of input—that is, whether it is written (orthographic/visual) or spoken (acoustic/oral)—has also been found to be crucial in formation of mental representations of phonology in second language (L2). The role of orthographic input on second language acquisition has received attention in recent years, in light of the fact that L2 learners are often exposed to L2 written input from early stages of the learning process: there is a qualitative difference between preliterate children’s early phonological acquisition and literate adults’ L2 phonological acquisition. This presentation attempts to discuss the positive and negative influence of orthographic input on the acquisition of L2 phonology by reviewing relevant studies that investigated learners of different languages. It also aims to address some potential issues that need to be taken into account in conducting and/or interpreting L2 orthography-phonology research. (Teachers College, Columbia University)

        하이퍼텍스트에서 개념도 제시 조건과 고등사고력이 이해력과 개념도 형성에 미치는 효과

        본 연구의 목적은 하이퍼텍스트 학습환경에서 개념도 제시 유무, 개념도 구조화 정도, 학습자의 고등사고력이 학습내용 이해력과 개념도 형성에 미치는 효과를 검토하기 위해서 1차와 2차 실험을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2차 실험 결과, 개념도가 제시된 하이퍼텍스트가 개념도가 제시되지 않은 일반적 하이퍼텍스트보다 학습내용 사후이해력 점수와 사후개념도 형성 점수에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 더 구조화된 개념도 조건의 하이퍼텍스트와 덜 구조화된 개념도 조건의 하이퍼텍스트는 1차 실험과 2차 실험에서 모두 학습내용 사후이해력 점수에서 유의미한 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 한편 학습내용 사후개념도 형성 점수에 있어서, 두 가지 개념도 조건간에 유의미한 차이가 없었던 1차 실험결과와 달리, 2차 실험결과는 덜 구조화된 개념도 조건의 하이퍼텍스트가 더 구조화된 개념도 조건의 하이퍼텍스트보다 유의미하게 높았다. 셋째, 1차 실험과 2차 실험에서 모두 학습자의 고등사고력이 학습내용 사후이해력 검사 점수와 사후개념도 형성 점수에 의미 있게 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 1차 실험과 2차 실험 모두, 하이퍼텍스트 조건(두 가지의 개념도 조건의 하이퍼텍스트와 일반적 하이퍼텍스트)과 학습자의 고등사고력은 학습내용에 대한 사후이해력 검사 점수와 사후개념도 형성 점수에 있어 상호작용 효과는 없었다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of concept maps and higher-order thinking skills on understanding and concept-mapping of hypertext. The results from the experiment 1 and 2 were as follows: First, in experiment 2 the mean scores of understanding and concept- mapping were higher in the concept map groups than in no concept map group. Second, the results showed that the difference of the mean scores of understanding between the group given more structured concept map and the one given less structured concept map was not statically significant in experiment 1 and 2. The concept-mapping scores from the experiment 1 were not significantly different between the two concept map groups. In contrast, there was significant difference in concept-mapping scores between the two concept map groups in experiment 2. Third, the scores of understanding and concept-mapping were not significant between learner's higher-order thinking levels in experiment 1 and 2. The results from two experiments showed that there were no significant difference in their understanding and concept-mapping according to the leaner's levels of higher-order thinking skills. Fourth, there was no interaction effect of the hypertext conditions and learner's higher-order thinking skills on understanding and concept mapping in experiment 1 and 2.

        Effect of hypoosmotic and thermal stress on gene expression and the activity of antioxidant enzymes in the cinnamon clownfish, Amphiprion melanopus

        We studied oxidative stress in cinnamon clownfish exposed to hypoosmotic (35 psu →17.5 psu and 17.5 psu with prolactin (PRL)) and low temperature (28℃ → 24℃ and 20℃) conditions by measuring the expression and activity of Cu/Zn-superoxide dismutase (Cu/Zn-SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (GPX). The expression and activity of the antioxidant enzymes were significantly higher after the fish were exposed to 24℃, 20℃, and 17.5 psu, and expression was repressed by PRL treatment. Furthermore, we measured H2O2 and lipid peroxidation levels and found that they were significantly higher after exposure to the hypoosmotic and low-temperature environments. Additionally, we investigated changes in plasma AST and ALT levels after exposure to low temperature and hypoosmotic stress. These levels increased upon exposure of the clownfish to 24℃, 20℃, and 17.5 psu, but the levels of these parameters decreased in the 17.5 psu with PRL treatment during a salinity change. The results indicate that hypoosmotic and low-temperature conditions induce oxidative stress in cinnamon clownfish and that the parameters tested in this study may be indices of oxidative stress in the cinnamon clownfish.

        Psychological Assessment of Patients with Iatrogenic Trigeminal Nerve Injury Using Symptom Checklist-90-Revised

        Purpose: This study aims to assess the psychological characteristics of patients with iatrogenicdamage of the trigeminal nerve using Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R). Methods: A total of 22 patients who visited the clinic of Department of Oral Medicine, Schoolof Dentistry, Chosun University were evaluated in the months from December 2012 to December2014. Patients were included in the study if they presented with reported sensory changesdue to iatrogenic trigeminal nerve injury. A total of 37 control group who has no symptoms ofpain and sensory change were included in the study. All participants filled out the SCL-90-Rinstrument to assess psychosocial symptoms. Results: The T-scores of most of the SCL-90-R symptom dimensions were within normal range(less than 55) in the patients and the control group. The patients group showed higher T-scoresof SCL-90-R than those of the control group, with statistically significance of somatization,anxiety, psychoticism, and positive symptoms distress. Female patients group had higher T scoresof SCL-90-R than those of male patients group, but there was no statistical difference,except for the positive symptom global index. The chronic patients group showed higher T scoresof SCL-90-R than those of the acute patients group, but there was no statistical difference,except for the Positive symptom global index. Conclusions: According to the psychological assessment of iatrogenic trigeminal nerve injurypatients using SCL-90-R, the patients group, as compared to the control group shows a significantlyhigher score for somatization, anxiety, and psychoticism. Therefore, assessment of psychologicalstate would be considered to treat patients with iatrogenic trigeminal nerve injury.
