This study was performed to discover the underlining influences of Herpes Simplex virus (HSV) and Varicella Zoster virus (VZV), to detect the changes of whole protein and mucin level and to observe protein profiles in the saliva when recurrent aphthous ulcer (RAU) was present. Unstimulated whole saliva was collected from 23 patients who for over three years had a clinical history of RAU, in a group of 10 women and 13 men, ranging from 11 to 72 years of age, and 20 healthy subjects, in a group of 8 women and 12 men, who did not have the symptoms nor a past history of RAU. Through the means of Polymerization Chain Reaction, genomic DNA from the HSV and VZV was purified from the saliva samples for identifying precisely the two types of viruses, and the level of whole protein and sialic acids in the saliva and the ratio of sialic acid to whole protein were measured, and SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis was performed. The results obtained were as follows ; 1. 39.13% of patients showed 224 bp bands of VZV DNA, those were appeared more in patients than in control group (p<0.01), but there was no significant difference between patients and control group in HSV DNA (p>0.05). 2. The concentration of whole protein in men patients was lower than in men control group (p<0.05), but there were no significant differences between patients and control in other groups (p>0.05). 3. The concentration of sialic acids from patients was lower than control group in all groups (p<0.05). 4. The concentration of sialic acids in proportion to that of whole protein was lower in patients than in control group (p<0.05), and in the two women groups (p<0.01), but no noticeable difference was found between the two men groups (p>0.05). 5. There were no consistent differences observed in the protein profiles of patients with control group except that certain protein bands near 50 kDa was lower in patients than in control group. These results suggest that viruses such as HSV and VZV and reduction of salivary whole protein and mucin levels are related to development of RAU.

EMG신호를 이용한 보철제어기의 현황과 전망

지금까지 EMG신호를 이용한 보철제어의 역사적 고찰과 기술적인 고려사항, 실제적인 예, 그리고 전망등에 관하여 살펴보았는데 "근육이 세계를 움직인다."는 말처럼 근전도신호는 인간-기계 상호연결에 무한한 잠재성을 보여주기 때문에 앞으로 이분야에 많은 연구가 필요하리라 생각된다. 더우기, 앞으로 몇년안에는 근육전기 제어(Myoelectric control)외에 신경으로 부터 추출된 제어신호를 이용한 신경전기제어(Neuroelectric control)도 가능하리라 믿는다. 특히, 근전도 신호처리에 관한 연구결과는 실제로 로보트제어에 기여를 하고 있는데 그 예로 Saridis의 연구결과를 들 수 있겠다. 그러므로, 근전도 신호처리에 관한 연구는 산업용 로보트 개발에도 크게 도움이 될 것이다. 최근의 첨단과학 즉, 전자공학, 컴퓨터공학, 제어공학, 반도체공학, 기계공학, 생체공학을 위시한 각 기술분야의 급격한 진보와 생리학, 체육학등 기초만 아니라 "Bionic Person" 혹은 "Artificial Man"을 가능하게 할 것이다.ificial Man"을 가능하게 할 것이다. 것이다.

사고영향평가를 이용한 지하 매설 배관 사고 시 긴급차단밸브에 의한 피해 범위 감소에 관한 연구

A large number of underground pipelines in the Ulsan National Industrial Complex has been constructed to improve the productivity of chemical products and tackle transportation problems. Now, the total of 1,293km of underground pipelines around 62 companies has been installed and operated. Many of underground pipelines have been installed outside of factories. For a past three years, five gas leakage accidents have occurred and the emergency response took up to 8 hours or more. Due to these delay in accidents, second serious accidents might occur and lead to occur damages to adjacent residents. In this study, it is assumed that emergency valve systems are installed under a ground and the efficacy of these is verified. Consequence analysis program was employed to evaluate the mitigation impact of emergency valve systems. The results show that these valve systems are economical and their performances for a mitigation are excellent. The results indicate that the installation of emergency valve systems for underground pipelines should be urgently legislated and performed. 현재 울산국가산업단지에는 생산량의 증대와 이송의 편의를 위해 막대한 규모의 지하매설배관이 설치되어 있다. 현재 울산국가산업단지에는 62개 사에 총 1,293km의 지하배관이 설치되어 있으며, 이 중에서 상당수는 사업장외부에 설치되어 있다. 최근 3년간 울산국가산업단지에서는 5건의 누출사고가 발생하였으며, 대응시간은 평균 8 시간 이상 걸렸다. 이러한 사고대응의 지체는 심각한 2차 사고로 이어질 수 있으며, 이는 지역주민들에게 큰 위험을줄 수도 있다. 본 연구에서는 지하매설배관에 긴급차단장치를 설치하는 경우 사고영향평가를 통해 얼마나 누출사고의 영향이 경감되는지 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 긴급차단장치 설치가 지하매설배관의 누출사고의 피해를 줄이는 데 큰 역할을 할 수 있음을 검증하였다. 향후, 지하매설배관의 안전성 향상을 위해 시급히 긴급차단장치의 설치를 입법화하고 실행되어야 할 것이다.

초년 성인의 굴절이상과 조절래그 분포의 연관성

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution and correlation of accommodative lag with refractive error. Method: We had tested the clinical refraction and the accommodative lag in clinically normal 49young adults (total 98 eyes) aged 18 to 25 years without abnormal binocular function. Monocular and binocular accommodative lag were tested with 0.50 D cross-cylinder lens and near vision test chart which had cross-hairs after full correction of LogMAR visual acuity over 0.05. Results: There was no statistical differences in monocular accommodative lag between right (0.64 ± 0.64 D) and left eye (0.63 ± 0.64)(p=0.858). The accommodative lag of male was higher than female and the range of the value was broader than female in binocular accommodative lag (p=0.015). The wider the inter-pupillary distance was, the higher the accommodative lag was (p=0.003). However,there were no differences with age (p=0.800) and dominant eye (p=0.402). The ranges of accommodative lag of low,middle, and high myopia were 0.75 ~ −0.25 D, 1.25 ~ −0.50 D, and 1.50 ~ −0.75 D, respectively, and the regression was ‘y = −0.03953x+0.09205’. Conclusions: These data suggest that clinically normal young adults with high amounts of refractive error have more variable accommodative lag and increased spherical equivalent refraction. 목적: 본 연구는 굴절이상에 따른 조절래그의 분포와 연관성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 양안시 기능에 문제가없는 만18세~25세 이하 초년 성인을 대상으로 우안 49안, 좌안 49안(총 98안)의 굴절이상과 조절래그를 검사하였다. 조절래그는 LogMAR 시력 0.05(소수시력 0.9) 이상 완전교정한 후에 크로스실린더와 근거리 십자시표를 이용하여 단안과 양안을 측정하였다. 결과: 단안의 조절래그량은 우안 0.64±0.64 D, 좌안 0.63±0.64 D로 우안이 많았지만 통계적인 차이는 없었다(p=0.858). 양안에서는 남자가 1.50 ~ −0.75(0.31±0.44)로 여자 0.50 ~ −0.75(−0.02±0.33)보다 평균값의 범위가 넓고 크게 나타났으며(p=0.015), 동공간 거리가 멀수록 조절래그량은 많았지만(p=0.003) 연령과우위안에 따른 분석에서는 차이가 없었다(p=0.800, p=0.402). 굴절이상에 따른 조절래그 범위는 저도근시 0.75 ~ −0.25 D,중등도 근시 1.25 ~ −0.50 D, 고도근시 1.50 ~ −0.75 D로 분포하였고 등가구면 굴절력과는 y = −0.03953x+0.09205의관계식을 나타냈다. 결론: 조절래그는 등가구면 굴절력이 클수록 분포범위가 넓고 평균값이 높은 것으로 분석되었다.

In der koreanischen Forschung ist die Frage der Kookkurrenz Erscheinung. die in der Sprache der sogenannten konkreten Poesie auftritt, zwar schon ein paar Male erwa ¨hnt worden. Aber sie ist noch nie tiefer gehend erforscht und dargestellt worden. Meine Darstellung wa¨re in diesem Sinne ein neuer Ansatz. Denn in ihr wird nicht nur das Kookkurrenzpha¨nomen in der Dichtersprache dargestellt. sondern auch dessen textwissenschaftliche Funktion. Im Schluβteil habe ich versuchsweise das Kookkurrenzpha¨nomen der konkreten Dichtung mit dem textlinguistischen Ansatz in Verbindung gesetzt. Ich hoffe. daβ diese Frage aus einem neuen Blickwinkel noch weiter erforscht werden kann. Der literaturwissenschaftlich neue Begriff 'Kookurrenz' stellt. kurz und vereinfacht gesagt. das zusammen gehende bzw. parallel gehende Pha¨nomen des sprachlichen Inhaltes und des auβersprachlichen Pha¨nomens. d. h. der Wirklichkeit dar.

협대역 신호모델을 이용한 방위각 추정 알고리즘

We point out a bias problem in the bearing estimator with narrowband signal model, which is unavoidable because the interpolator is not an exact inverse mapping of the beamformer. We select the beamforming method and the interpolation method which minimize the bias via various simulations, Also we select the optimal width of the energy gate to minimize the bearing estimation error. This is verified via computer simulations using SYGAME target signals.
