      • RAW264.7 세포에서 interferon-r 및 LPS에 의해 유도되는 NO생성에 미치는 TALT-35의 영향

        TALP-35 purified from human term placenta is known to increase microtubule polymerization and stabilize the polymerized microtubule. To examine the effect of TALP-35 on immune system this study was performed. MTT assay was performed to investigate the effect of TALP-35 on the proliferation of RAW264.7 cells. TALP-35 dose dependently suppress the proliferation of RAW264.7 cells at high concentration (above 1 μM) in unstimulated cells, in case of 10 μM TALP-35 treated cells the suppression was 25% but in stimulated cells it was only 15%. Cosedimentation assay was carried out to investigate whether TALP-35 can bind to tubulin of RAW264.7, monocyte/macrophage lineage of mouse, and polymerize it. TALP-35 polymerize the tubulin of RAW264.7 cells and sedimented in dose-dependent manner. To investigate the effect of TALP-35 on the expression of iNOS protein western blotting was performed. The expression level of iNOS was decreased dose dependently in high concentration of TALP-35 treatment. To examine the activity of iNOS, secreted NO was determined by method based on Griess reaction. Interferon-γ and LPS-stimulated production of NO from RAW264.7 cells was decreased dose dependently above 0.1 μM concentration of TALP-35 and 50% is decreased at 10μM of it. This study shows TALP-35 can control cytokine induced-iNOS expression therefore it might control inflammatory diseases.

No effective antiviral therapy is proven yet, but clinical use of ribavirin (RBV) has been tried. We investigated the antiviral effect of RBV against SFTSV in vitro. Methods: To test for cytotoxicity of RBV, Vero cells were treated with different concentrations of RBV (3.90 to 500 μg/mL, two-fold dilution) and analyzed by cell viability MTS assay 48h post-infection. To determine antiviral activity of RBV against SFTSV, Vero cells were infected with SFTSV strain Gangwon/Korea/2012 at 100 TCID50 (50% tissue culture infective dose) per well in a 96-well plate, and RBV was added at the concentrations showing no or minimal cytotoxicity. Viral RNAs were extracted from the culture supernatants and quantifi ed using one-step real-time reverse transcription- PCR to amplify the partial large segment of SFTSV. Statistical analysis was done by one-way ANOVA with Tukey`s post hoc test. Results: Cytotoxicity due to RBV was not observed at RBV concentration =31.3 μg/ mL. Viral RNAs at 24h post-RBV treatment were reduced with increasing RBV concentrations (1-32 μg/mL), compared with those of mock-treated cells (P <0.01, Figure). Half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of RBV was 3.69 μg/mL at 24h post-RBV treatment. Conclusions: Our study shows that RBV has antiviral effect against SFTSV in a dose-dependent manner. Further studies are required to evaluate the effi cacy of RBV in SFTS.

      • 이동물체의 기하학적 특성에 기인한 움직임 정보 추출

        In this paper, we have proposed an effective moving objects tracking method based on the motion information in the video sequence. First, we extract the moving objects using the processes of morphological dilation and differential image in the video sequence and then we extract the motion information utilizing the location and orientation of the moving objects in the subsequent images. The motion information is extracted using various statistical measurements, extracting the high-level features from the regions of pixels in the images. The measurements, such a s area, length, perimeter, orientation, elongation, compactness, moments of inertia, are used as the statistical and geometrical descriptors. The principle axes of an object on this features gives the local direction of the object, while the center of gravity gives the center position of the object. The angle between two principal axes of the moving objects in the consecutive images gives the geometrical direction of the moving object, while the displacement of the center of gravity, gives the distance covered by the moving objects. So we have extracted the global motion information using the principal axes and center of gravity. The simulation results on the test images are very good, where either the motion is very slow, or the frame rate is very high.

      • 먹는 물에서의 비소 검출에 관한 연구 : ICP-USN법과 ICP-VGA법의 비교 Comparison ICP-USN method ICP-VGA method

        Abstract The analysis of arsenic in drinking water with ICP-USN method and ICP-VGA method was studied. In USN method, wavelength of 193.696nm was used and in VGA method, 228.812nm was used. The values of arsenic of same sample in each method, MDL, RPD, recovery, accuracy and precision were studied. The values of 14 sample of drinking water were within 0.05ppm or were not detected. But in one sample high value of 0.044ppm was detected. MDL of USN was 0.013ppm and MDL of VGA was 0.0004ppm. This results showed lower MDL of VGA but RPD of USN was better than VGA. Recovery of two methods was same, but accuracy and precision of USN were better than VGA. Therefore ICP-VGA method could be used according to this result(MDL) when arsenic trace element detection in drinking water should be achieved.

        This paper presents a fundamental study on the mixing process of the premixed mixture. Nonuniformity of fuel and air mixture influences the combustion characteristics and exhaust emissions of the premixed type combustor. The object of this study is to express the mixture uniformity statistically by means of measurement of the fluctuating concentration field with the high response hot wire concentration probe and to visualize the premixed mixture formation by smoke wire methods.

      • 119구급차로 이송된 환자의 병원 전 전문응급처치에 관한 조사

        An analysis was performed to evaluate the prehospital advanced emergency care in Emergency Medical Service system(EMS) through the review of the 119 transport records of 190 patients who visited to Jecheon Seoul hospital emergency center at Chungpuk Jecheon via 119 system during the period from October 2002 to September 2003. The results were obtained as follows: 1. Among 190 patients, male were 127(66.8%) and female were 63(33.2%) and non-traumatic patients were 81(42.6%) and traumatic patients were 109(57.4%). 2. The analysis of prehospital care by Emergency Medical Technician(EMT) revealed that Airway maintenance and keeping oral airway(37.7%), oxygen supply(75.9%), Tourniquett or MAST(18.9%), Immobilization of neck or spine(94.7%), Immobilization of extremities(51.4%), wound bandage and dressing(25.0%), BCLS(12.1%) and Application of AED(2 patients). 3. The analysis of prehospital care by EMT revealed prehospital care was limited to keep of intubation or LMA, medication and IV insertion, insertion of gastric tube and ACLS. 4. There was no case of the notification to medical institute or consultation to doctor.

      • 고압 수증기 내에서 산화막 형성에 관한 연구

        This paper shows experimentally that oxide layer on the p-type Si-substrate can grow at low temperature(500℃∼600℃) using high pressure water vapor system. As the result of experiment, oxide layer growth rate is about 0.19Å/min at 500℃, 0.43Å/min at 550℃, 1.2Å/min at 600℃ respectively. So, we know oxide layer growth follows reaction-controlled mechanism in given temperature range. Consequently, granting that oxide layer growth rate increases linearly to temperature over 600℃, we can expect oxide growth rate is 5.2Å/min at 1000℃. High pressure oxidation of silicon is particularly attractive for the thick oxidation of power MOSFET, because thermal oxide layers can grow at relatively low temperature in run times comparable to typical high-temperature. 1 atm conditions. In the condition of higher-temperature and high-pressure steam oxidation. the oxidation time is reduced significantly.

        The suction pressure of an abnormal condition spark ignition engine which has non adjusting intake valves becomes reduced and residual gas increases at a greater rate than under normal combustions. This reduction in suction pressure is caused by the distribution of in equalable air in a cylinder leading to abnormal combustion. If this condition continues, the engine ceases due to an increase in engine heat loss. In this study, we conducted tests to determine the combustion characteristics of a spark ignition engine under both norman and abnormal conditions. The results of this study will establish basic data analysis for developing an automotive diagnosis system by analyzing some of the factors including pressure in the cylinder, output signal of the MAP Sensor and Exhaust gases.

        It is a important facter to reduce automobile emissions. This paper deals with the estimation of catalyst characteristics for the automobile emission control by the electrically-heated catalyst converter. First of all, the after treatment method is required for LEV(Low Emissoin Vehicle) after FTP-75 mode limitation, the after treatment method is divided into two ways. Development of catalysis and reduction of catalyst activity time. Electrically heated monoliths have been designed and tested that are able to reach catalystic light-off temperature in less than 30 second using a conventional 12 volt electrical system. Gasoline vehicle emission data are presented that show substantial improvements in cold start HC and CO emissions by using resistance heating.

        This paper deals with an experimental study on the influence of fuel behavior in intake manifold for the performance of a low compression spark ignition engine. In this study, we knew that liquid-film fuel in intake manifold has a remarkable influence on the engine performance. And, from analysis of indicator pressure diagram, the value of combustion characteristics were obtained.
