Caerulein과 총담췌장관 결찰에 의한 급성췌장염 모델의 특징

To investigate the difference in acute pancreatitis experimentally induced by common bile-pancreatic duct (CBPD) ligation and caerulein iv infusion, we measured amylase activity, pancreatic edema and phospholipase A_2 activity in pancreatic tissue and serum. In acute pancreatitis induced by CBPD ligation and caerulein infusion, tissue edema and tissue phospholipase A_2 activity significantly increased as compared with normal group. Also experimental acute pancreatitis significantly increased the levels of serum protein, serum amylase activity and serum phospholipase A_2 activity. In the comparison of two experimental models, the symptom of acute pancreatitis induced by CBPD ligation was more severe than that induced by caerulein infusion. These results indicate that the increase of phospholipase A_2 activity in pancreatic tissue and serum may be one of the parameters for the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis.

원예치료가 치매치유에 미치는 영향

It is understood that mean of horticultural therapy is to improve physical trouble which bring the mental tension and uneasiness by horticultural activity. In Korea, many researches about the horticultural therapy were published recently, The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in geriatric depression, mini-mental state and grip and pinch strength for dementia in older persons between pre- and post- horticultural therapy program. Horticultural therapy Program was six dementia in older persons attending to Yongin Hyoja Hospital, location in Yongin City. They partook in the grouped HTP consisting of a variety of activities including the culturing and utilization of plants twice a week form November 15, 2000 to March 31, 2001, where 40 therapy programs were held. To verify the effect of HTP, the change in depress estimated by K-MMSE and Grip, Pinch Strength between pre- and post- HTP were measured and analyzed using paired t-test.

교정용 미니 임플랜트 고정원과 SWA en masse sliding retraction 시 전치부 치축 조절 요인에 관한 유한요소해석

교정용 미니 임플랜트 고정원을 이용한 교정 치료가 보편화되며, SWA와 이를 이용한 en masse sliding retraction은 임상에서 흔히 사용하는 치료법이 되었다. 그러나 고정원을 성공적으로 보존하려는 노력에 비해, 발치 공간 폐쇄 시 전치부 치축 조절에 관여하는 요인에 대한 보고는 아직까지 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 제1소구치를 제거한 상악 치아와 치주 인대 그리고 치조골에 대한 3차원 유한요소 기준모델을 제작하였고, 제1대구치와 제2소구치 사이 주호선 10 mm 상방에 식립된 교정용 미니 임플랜트를 고정원으로 사용할 경우, 측절치-견치 사이의 견인 훅의 높이를 변화시키며 후상방 견인력을 가하거나, 주호선에 보상 만곡을 부여하는 것이 전치부 치축 조절에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 시뮬레이션 하였다. 또한 전치부 치축이 설측 경사된 모델을 같은 실험 조건으로 시뮬레이션 하여 발치 공간 폐쇄 시 설측 경사된 전치부 치축을 유지하거나 개선할 수 있는 요인을 검토하였고, 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 얻었다. 2 mm 높이의 견인 훅에 대하여 후상방으로 견인력을 가할 경우 발생하는 함입력으로 인하여 전치부 설측 경사가 더 감소되지는 않았다. 견인 훅의 높이가 5 mm인 경우 후상방 견인력을 가하면, 측절치의 치관 순측 및 치근 설측 이동이 일어나고, 견치의 비조절성 후방 경사 이동이 심화되었다. 4 mm의 보상 만곡은 측절치의 치관 순측 및 치근 설측 이동을 일으키고, 견치의 비조절성 후방 경사 이동을 감소시켰다. 또한 전치부가 설측 경사된 모델을 기준모델과 같은 실험 조건으로 시뮬레이션 한 경우 치근면의 응력 분포와 25000배 확대된 그래프 상에서의 치아 이동 양상은 매우 유사하였다. 이상의 결과는 미니 임플랜트-SWA sliding 생역학을 구사 시 견인 훅의 위치와 와이어 상의 보상 만곡의 유무에 의해 전치부의 치축 조절이 달라지며 실제 임상에서 가이드라인으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Objective: With development of the skeletal anchorage system, orthodontic mini-implant (OMI) assisted en masse sliding retraction has become part of general orthodontic treatment. But compared to the emphasis on successful anchorage preparation, the control of anterior teeth axis has not been emphasized enough. Methods: A 3-D finite element Base model of maxillary dental arch and a Lingual tipping model with lingually inclined anterior teeth were constructed. To evaluate factors influencing the axis of anterior teeth when OMI was used as anchorage, models were simulated with 2 mm or 5 mm retraction hooks and/or by the addition of 4 mm of compensating curve (CC) on the main archwire. The stress distribution on the roots and a 25000 times enlarged axis graph were evaluated. Results: Intrusive component of retraction force directed postero-superiorly from the 2 mm height hook did not reduce the lingual tipping of anterior teeth. When hook height was increased to 5 mm, lateral incisor showed crown-labial and root-lingual torque and uncontrolled tipping of the canine was increased. 4 mm of CC added to the main archwire also induced crown-labial and root-lingual torque of the lateral incisor but uncontrolled tipping of the canine was decreased. Lingual tipping model showed very similar results compared with the Base model. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that height of the hook and compensating curve on the main archwire can influence the axis of anterior teeth. These data can be used as guidelines for clinical application.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in depression for schizophrenia patient and people between pre- and post- horticultural therapy program. The result was as the follows ; Depression of schizophrenia patients averaged 61.83 to 51.33 and general people averaged 41.05 to 38.95(p〈.05). The result indicated that horticultural therapy program was effective in depression treatment not only schizophrenia patient but also general people.

교육용 소프트웨어 개발에 적합한 하이퍼미디어 시스템에 관한 연구

This paper presents a back-end system of hypermedia authoring system for courseware development. For the design, repersentative hypertext reference models, the Dexter model and the HAM(Hypertext Abstract Machine) which belongs to Campbell & Goodman model were analyzed. Based on those models, data objects, attributes, and operations of back-end system were designed and implemented. Because the application area of this system is on computer based education, the path mechanism is enforced for the various educational strategies. In order to reduce the user disorientation and cognitive overheads in navigating hypernetwork, filtering, backtracking and history mechanism were implemented.

HPLC를 이용한 고추의 품종별 Capsaicin 및 Dihydrocapsaicin 성분의 함량 분석

Five kinds of Korean red pepper-pinkish, perfect, cucumber, blue, and ground cherry-were used, respectively, to analyze the contents of Capsaicin and Dihydrocapsaicin. The comparative analysis was performed separately in the seed removed red pepper and the seed included red pepper by HPLC. Among the seed removed pepper, the results for the content of Capsaicin were shown as follows: ground cherry(2204.0ppm) > pinkish(1324.9ppm) > blue(906.7ppm) > cucumber (77.2ppm) > perfect(12.9ppm), and the results for the content of Dihydrocapsaicin were shown as follows: ground cherry (1004.8ppm) > pinkish(248.3ppm) > blue(165.7ppm) > cucumber(13.9ppm) > perfect(0.0ppm). Among the seed included red pepper, the results for the content of Capsaicin were shown as follows: ground cherry(2190.lppm) > pinkish(1324.4ppm) > blue (919.9ppm) > cucumber(79.5ppm) > perfect(11.7ppm), and the results for the content of Dihydrocapsaicin were shown as follows: ground cherry(1017.4ppm) > pinkish(270.6ppm) > blue(189.0ppm) > cucumber(39.4ppm) > perfect(0.0ppm). Overall results suggest that in the contents of Capsaicin and Dihydrocapsaicin, the seed removed pepper and the seed included red pepper both were decreased in the order of ground cherry > pinkish > blue > cucumber > perfect, and this order is proportional to the strength of hot taste of red pepper.

60 Hz 자기장에서 예쁜꼬마선충(C. elegans)의 발생 및 생식에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 자기장 노출 조건은 $0{\sim}500\;{\mu}T$이며, 실험 온도는 선충의 일반적 배양 온도 범위($2 1.2{\pm}0.6^{\circ}C$)에서 일정하게 유지하였으며, 노출은 선충의 배양 기간 동안 지속되었다. C. elegas 야생형 N2 및 스트레스에 민감한 hsf-1와 crt-1 등의 돌연변이체들에서 실험에 사용한 노출 조건에 따른 생식력의 차이는 없었다. 여러 세대에 걸쳐 자기장에 노출한 경우에도 자기장에 의한 생식력의 변화는 없었다. 결론적으로, C. elegans는 크기가 매우 작으므로(길이 약 1 mm) 유도전류가 적게 발생하여, 자기장($-500\;{\mu}T$)에 의한 영향이 없는 것으로 사려된다.

Background/Aims: Since the H+/K+-ATPase of gastric parietal cell exchanges luminal K+ for cytoplasmic H+, of which outcome is gastric acidification with outflux of H3O+, proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are actively prescribed for the treatment of acid related gastric diseases with considerable efficacies. Our recent studies revealed that these inhibitors of H+/K+-ATPase could be extensively applied for the selective induction of cancer cell apoptosis, significant anti-angiogenic actions, and some gastroprotective action beyond acid suppression. Results: In order to compare the efficacy of PPI or APA against NSAID-induced gastropathy and explore its underlying molecular changes, we administered indomethacine to SD rats orally and compared the results according to group, control, indomethacine alone, with omeprazole, with APA (revaprazane; 5, 6-dimethyl-2-(4-fluorophenylamino)-4-(1-methyl-1, 2, 3, 4,-tetrahydroisoquinoline-2-yl) pyrimidine hydrochloride, is a novel APA), and with rebamipide. Revaprazan displayed a potent anti-inflammatory action on both the NSAID-induced acute gastritis and the EtOH-induced acute gastritis animal model. Pretreatment of the APA completely inhibited indomethacin induced gastric injury, of which effects might be induced by inhibiting the MAPK or NF-kappa B which is an executive critical enzyme in inflammatory response signaling. In vitro cell culture system, revaprazan has a strong inhibitory activity on NSAID-induced NF-к B transcriptional activation. In addition to a regulatory role in MAPK ERK1/2 signaling provoked by NSAID, pretreatment of revaprazole prior to NSAID exposure significantly rescued gastric epithelial cells from apoptosis. The cytoprotective effect of this agent might be come from the induction of proteins of which function was well known as cytoprotection. Conclusions: Among these protective mechanisms, appropriate restoration and maintenance of Hsp27 was rightly operated in these preventions from NSAID injury after APA administration.
