      • 薄板의 加工性에 미치는 異方性에 관한 硏究(Ⅰ)

        This study is concerned with the anisotropy which affects the workability of several different sheet metals. To do this, authors studied the earing through the deep drawing process, using the results which were obtained by studying the effect of the anisotropy of sheet metal in tensile yielding. The results through this study are as follows; 1) The corresponding maximum errors of the theoretical and experimental results in steel, brass, and aluminum plates in tensile yielding are 16%, 6%, and 5% respectively. 2) The earing of steel, brass and copper plates whose thickness are 0.62㎜ are two or three times as high as those of corresponding plates whose thickness are 0.34㎜. 3) The assumption of costa is satisfied in steel plate, but it is not satisfied in brass plate. It is hoped that the results of this study will be made reference to other works of sheet metal.

      • 들깨鍾子의 休眠에 미치는 貯藏濕度의 影響

        25 cultivars of perilla seeds were stored in air dry room condition after harvest. Seed samples were taken from the seed in storage and tested for germination at 25℃ to study the natural dormancy of the perilla seed. In air dry room, natural dormancy periods ranged from 51 to 71 days in cultivars for leave, from 28 days of the shortest ‘Daegugal’to 78 days of the longest ‘Daemyounghuk’in oil seed cultivars, and from 18 days of the shortest ‘India’to 61 days of ‘Baegimsogal’and ‘Hugim’. Dormancy period of ‘Jukjaso’was 152 days and other cultivars in Jaso group ranged from 62 to 72 days. The seeds of seven cultivars of perilla were stored in various levels of relative humidity from November 11 to March 31 Following year. Germination of ‘Gimhae’and ‘Gyungsanbaek’was conspicuously delayed at low storage humidity. The dormancy period of two cultivars were 51 days after harvest at RH100% and 121 days and 131 days at RH 30%, respectively. Thus, the lower storage humidity, the longer dormancy period. Above results indicate that excessive drying of perilla seeds after harvest causes inferior germination and delays dormancy break. Therefore, perilla seed should not be stored in excessively dry condition.

      • 몇가지 觀賞植物의 夏季綠技揷穗의 發根에 미치는 密閉床의 效果

        몇가지 觀賞植物의 夏季高溫期 揷木繁殖에 있어서 密閉床의 效果를 檢討하기 위해 1983年 6∼8月에 걸쳐 황금쥐똥나무, 하와이무궁화, 피라칸사스 및 치자를 供試한 結果를 다음과 같은 結論을 얻었다. 1) 密閉床은 開放床과 濕度差는 뚜렷하지 않았으나 密閉床內의 空中濕度는 항시 95%程度로 均一하게 維持되었다. 2) 密閉床에서는 開放床에 비해 모든 供試植物에서 發根率은 有意性있게 높았으나 揷穗의 熟度에 따라 달라졌다. 3) 密閉床內에서는 치자에서와 같이 根의 伸長을 促進시키는 效果와 하와이무궁화에서와 같이 根數를 增加시키는 效果로 인해 總根長이 增加되었으며 황금쥐똥나무와 피라칸사스에서는 두가지 效果가 모두 認定되었다. This study was conducted in order to assure the effect of the polyethylene film-covered airtight moist chamber on the rooting response of summer greenwood leafy cuttings of Ligustrum ovalifolium H. var. variegatum HORT., Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L., Pyracantha angustifolia SCHNEID, and Gardenia iasminoides ELLIS from June to August, 1983. The results of this study were summarized as follows: The temperature was not differed strikingly between the airtight moist chamber and the open cutting bed, but the relative humidity in the airtight moist chamber was constant about 95% regardless of weather condition. Percentage of rooted cuttings was significantly higher in the airtight moist chamber than in the open cutting bed among tested 4 species, but the effect of airtight moist chamber on the percentage of survival cuttings including unrooted cuttings was different according to tested species or maturity of cuttings. Effect of the airtight moist chamber on the increased root amount per rooted cuttings could be distinguished as two patterns, total root length per rooted cuttings was longer by promoted root-elongation in the case of Gardenia jasminoides ELLIS, and by increase of root number in the case of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L., but both effects of two patterns were shown in Ligustrum ovalifolium H. var. variegaium HORT, and Pyrucantha angustifolia SCHNEID.

      • 뇌실주위 백질연화증 발생 위험인자

        The twenty newborn infants with periventricular leukomalacia(PVL) who were admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit of SoonChunHyang University Hospital from May 1, 1993 to July 30, 1997, were investigated for risk factors. Control group were the age matched 20 neonates who were admitted at the same time of study period. The results were as follows: 1) Mean gestational age was 31 week and mean birth weight 1665gm. 2) PVL's were located in the parietal region in 10 cases, fronto-occipital in 7 cases and parieto-occipital region in 3 cases. 3) Multiple logistic regression analysis for the risk factors of PVL showed that low birth weight, intraventricular hemorrhage, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, necrotizong enterocolitis and ventilator apply were the most significant contributing factor(P<0.05). 4) In a follow-up ultrasonograptic findings, 11 among 14 neonates with localized PVL were normalized whereas, all of 6 extensive PVL had the sequale of ventriculomegaly or cerebral atrophy. 5) In a follow-up neurologic examination, the poorer sequale including spastic diplegia or quadriplegia was associated with the larger, the more extensive PVL.

      • S. cerevisiae와 A. pullulans를 이용한 수용액 중의 납 제거에서 온도와 pH의 영향

        The environmental factors, temperature and pH, were controlled to investigate the effects on the removal of lead in the solution by S. cerevisiae and A. pullulans. The range of experimental temperature was 20℃∼50℃, and that of Ph was 2.5∼6.5 and 2.5∼12, respectively. The optimum temperature of S. cerevisiae and A. pullulans in the removal of lead was 30℃ and 40℃, respectively. And the initial removal rate of lead by, S. cerevisiae was increased according to the increase of temperatue. The variation of the amounts of lead removal by S. cerevisiae according to the variation of temperature was steeper that by A. pullulans. The optimum pH condition was existed on both of the microorganisms, S. cerevisiae and A. pullulans, in our experimental range and that is 4.5 and 9.0, respectively.

      • 우리나라 정신요양시설의 이용현황 및 평가에 관한 연구

        After the Mental Health Act was established at 1995, mental health service in korea has continuously been changed. The demand for long-term mental health care is on rise as the number of patient among population and social costs increases. In addition, as social concern about patient s quality of life enlarged, people give weight to quality management and evaluation of long term mental health care facilities. Through the evaluation of long-term mental health care facilities, the quality of mental health care can be improved and the function of long-tern mental health care facilities will be identified in mental health care system. Therefore this article will be used as a basic data for not only enhancing their service quality, but setting role and function of long-term mental health care facilities in health care delivery system. From the evaluation of long-term mental health care facilities, the eighty percents of a total 55 facilities was high or middle level. Physical environment items were at the highest level in evaluation parts but system management items were at the lowest level. So system management should be improved. The evaluation of long-term care facilities is a chance for checking the system and finding out problems in running the facilities. Also this evaluation will help to identify the role and function of long-term mental care facilities in the health care system.

        둔상성 비장 손상의 선택적 치료

        Until recently, total splenectomy has been considered as a safe operation for splenic injuries under the misconception that the spleen could not heal spontaneously and the spleen was not necessary for the maintenance of life. Concurrent with the knowledge for immunologic function of spleen, a renewed int,erest has been evolved in the technique of splenic salvage, including splenorrhaphy, partial splenectomy, nonoperative management, and autotransplantation of splenic fragments. Authors have reviewed 47 patients with splenic injury admitted to the Department of Surgery, Dong-Guk University Hospital during the period from June, 1987 to December, 1993. The patients were classified in accordance with Cogbill s splenic organ injury scale which defines five categories for the splenic injury. Among them 30 patients were treated by splenectomy, 2 patients by partial splenctomy, 11 patients by splenorrhaphy, and 4 patients by nonoperative management. In conclusion, nonoperative management is a safe treatment option if the following criteria are satisfied: 1) absolute hemodynamic stability or rapid hemodynamic stabilization after fluid resuscitation : 2) lack of other serious intraabdominal injuries: 3) Class I or ll splenic injury by Cogbill s method.

      • Combination treatment for onychomycosis using 1,064 Nd:YAG laser and efinaconazole 10% topical solution

        Background: Onychomycosis is one of the most common nail disease around the world. No specific treatment other than drug therapy and surgery was suggested till present. Systemic antifungal drugs for onychomysosis are effective. However, they require a long treatment time and not suitable for people with other systemic disease. Furthermore, they may cause many side effects such as liver disease. Also, many patients prefer topical drugs or physical treatment. Objectives: The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of combination treatment with a 1064 Nd:YAG laser and efinaconazole 10% Topical Solution. Methods: Ten patients with onychomycosis were treated with 1064 Nd:YAG laser (PinPointe FootLaser, Cynosure, Westford, MA, USA) once a month with application of 10% eifnaconazole solution(Jublia, Dong-A EST) once a day. The effectiveness of treatment were evaluated with before and after photographs. Results: Improvement were shown in 90% of patients after the treatment. However, 10% of patients had no response. Conclusion: This clinical study suggests that combination treatment of a 1064 Nd:YAG laser and efinaconazole 10% Topical Solutionis an effective, safe, and convenient treatment method for onychomycosis.
