분산 컴퓨터 시스템에서 화일 및 회선의 할당방법과 내고장성(fault tolerant)을 갖는 네트워크 설계방법을 제안한다. 컴퓨터 노드(site)가 많은 경우 화일 및 회선할당에 많는 시간이 소요되므로 선할당(preassignment)을 수행하여 문제 규모를 축소하고 계산시간을 개선한다. 정보화일의 사본을 컴퓨터 노드에 할당하고 네트워크 링크에 알맞는 회선용량을 할당하여 최소의 비용으로 시스템이 운용되도록 한다. 노드사이의 트래픽 요구가 주어진 상태에서 신뢰성과 네트워크 전송지연의 계약조건을 만족하면서 네트워크가 경제적으로 운용될수 있도록 설계하는 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 시스템 운용 도중에 링크 고장이 발생하여도 서비스 제공에는 이상이 없도록 하는 내고장성 네트워크 설계방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 다항식(polynomial)시간 알고리듬으로 예제에 실현한 결과를 나타냈으며 기존의 할당 알고리듬과 비교하여 최적해를 구하는데 있어 우수함을 나타냈다.

Purpose: To evaluate reliability of Fourier-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) (RTVue), time-domain OCT (Visante), and slit-lamp adapted ultrasonic pachymetry (SL-US) in the measurement of central corneal thickness (CCT). Materials and Methods: Thirty healthy volunteers visited our clinic 3 times and fifty eyes were measured by one physician. RTVue and Visante were randomly performed, and then SL-US, in which the ultrasound probe was inserted into the Goldmann tonometry mount, was done. During the second visit, each measurement was repeated 3 times. Measurements on the second visit were averaged,and agreement among the instruments was investigated with Bland-Altman plots. Results: RTVue showed smaller repeatability coefficient than Visante and SL-US (4.7, 8.3, and 7.7 μm, respectively). Intersession reproducibility of RTVue and Visante was worse than their repeatability. CCT of RTVue was estimated to be maximally different by 11.8 μm from CCT of Visante and 8.8 μm from CCT of SL-US. The repeatability coefficient of SL-US was 7.7 μm and its reproducibility was similar to the repeatability. Conclusion: CCT measured by RTVue showed good reliability and generally agreed with Visante and SL-US. SL-US was as reliable as triple touching conventional US even with a single touch on the cornea.

통신망에서 복수연결 즉 하나의 가입자를 하나 이상의 액세스 포인트에 연결하는 것은 여러 성능 기준을 향상시키는데 사용되는 메카니즘이다. 본 논문에서는 형상 설계 개념을 취하고 여러 형상설계 기준에 대한 최적 복수연결 구성을 찾는 문제를 언급하였다. 문제를 분석하고 이중연결을 제외하고 복수연결은 알고리듬적으로 복잡함을 보였다. 그래프에서 최대 매칭과 0-1 정수 프로그래밍에 근거한 최적 알고리듬을 모든 경우에 대하여 나타냈다. Attaching a subscriber to more than a single access point in the network, is a mechanism used to increase several performance criteria. In this paper we take the topological design view and address the problem of finding optimal multihoming configurations for several topological design criteria. We analyxe the problem and demonstrate that except for dual homing, multihoming is algorithmically complex. Optimal algorithms based on maximum mathing in graphs and 0-1 integer programming given for all cases.

`Purpose: Using corneal reflex, we performed intraoperative adjustments in horizontal strabismus patients who had very poor visual acuities with good compliance and analyzed various aspects of intraoperative adjustment. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the records of patients with horizontal strabismus who underwent intraoperative adjustment using corneal reflex from May 1997 to April 2005. We evaluated various aspects of intraoperative adjustment. Results: Fifty-five patients (40 exotropes, 15 esotropes) were included in our study. 11 of 40 extropes (27.5%) and 4 of 15 esotropes (26.7%) eventually underwent operations that were adjusted intraoperatively. Successful results were seen in 35 of 40 exotropes (87.5%) and 8 of 15 esotropes (53.3%). Fifteen patients (27.3%) received intraoperative adjustments, and of these patients 11 (20.0%) who had successful results would have experienced either undercorrection or overcorrection if their operation were performed as scheduled. Four patients underwent operation on one muscle rather than on the scheduled two muscles. All 4 of these patients (100%) would have experienced significantly large overcorrection had they not received intraoperative adjustment. Conclusions: Patients who would have had difficulty with fixation due to low visual acuity could avoid under- or overcorrection and are expected to have higher success rates because of intraoperative adjustment using corneal reflex.`
