      • 담배가격 인상의 소득계층별 귀착 효과 연구

        본 논문은 실증 자료를 이용하여 담배 가격 인상이 계층별로 어떤 영향을 미치는지 보고 자 한다. 이를 위해 1990년부터 2011년 사이의 가계 동향 자료의 담배 소비량에 기초하여 담배 수요의 가격 탄력성을 추정하였다. 추정 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 담배 수요의 가 격 탄력성은 소득이 낮을 수록 탄력성의 절대값이 낮았다. 둘째, 담배 소비 총량에서 소득 이 낮은 분위의 비율은 지속적으로 증가하는 추세에 있다. 따라서 담뱃세는 역진적 성격을 강하게 드러내며, 소폭의 가격 인상을 통해 담배 소비를 감소시키려는 정책 목적의 달성에 는 한계가 있을 것으로 보인다.

        공초점 원리를 이용한 3차원 표면형상 측정에 관한 연구

        근대 산업에서 기계 부품들의 정밀도와 표면 마무리 조건은 그 어느 때보다 더 절박하게 요구되고 있는 가운데, 표면 형상의 측정과 이해는 공학 기술자뿐만 아니라 물리학자나 화학자도 높은 관심을 갖게 되었다. 이런 상황에서 광학적 측정 방법은 opto-mechatronics의 이점을 가지고 진동 측정이나 균열, 결함의 검출 등의 분야에서 유용한 측정 방법으로 사용되고 있고, 표면 형상학의 분야에서 다시 한 번 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대를 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 공초점 현미경의 원리에 대해 서술하였고, 기존의 스캔 방식 공초점 현미경보다 한 차원 개선된 3차원 표면형상 측정 시스템을 개발하였다. 그리고, 표면의 기하적인 형상에 대한 정보를 얻고 그 형상을 가시화하기 위해 컴퓨터 시스템과 통합하고 그에 필요한 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. In modern industry, the accuracy and the surface-finish requirements for machined parts have been becoming ever more stringent. In addition, the measurement and understanding of surface topography is rapidly attracting the attention of the physicist and chemist as well as the engineer. Optical measuring method is used in vibration measurement, crack and defect detection with the advent of opto-mechatronics, and it is expected to play an important role in surface topography. In this study, the principle of confocal microscope is described, and the advanced 3-D surface measuring system that has better performance than the traditional confocal microscope is developed. Suitable fixtures are developed and integrated with the computer system for generating 3-D surface and form data. Software for data acquistion and analysis of various parameters in surface geometrical features has been developed.

        Management of post-cardiac arrest syndrome

        Post-cardiac arrest syndrome is a complex and critical issue in resuscitated patients undergone cardiac arrest. Ischemic-reperfusion injury occurs in multiple organs due to the return of spontaneous circulation. Bundle of management practicies are required for post-cardiac arrest care. Early invasive coronary angiography should be considered to identify and treat coronary artery obstructive disease. Vasopressors such as norepinephrine and dobutamine are the first-line treatment for shock. Maintainance of oxyhemoglobin saturation greater than 94% but less than 100% is recommended to avoid fatality. Target temperature therapeutic hypothermia helps to resuscitated patients. Strict temperature control is required and is maintained with the help of cooling devices and monitoring the core temperature. Montorings include electrocardiogram, oxymetry, capnography, and electroencephalography (EEG) along with blood pressue, temprature, and vital signs. Seizure should be treated if EEG shows evidence of seizure or epileptiform activity. Clinical neurologic examination and magnetic resonance imaging are considered to predict neurological outcome. Glycemic control and metabolic management are favorable for a good neurological outcome. Recovery from acute kidney injury is essential for survival and a good neurological outcome.

      • 홀로그래픽 간섭법을 이용한 미소변형 측정법에 관한 연구

        Conventional measuring methods for nondestructive testing(NDT) in nuclear power plants have been performed as the method of contact with objects and taken relatively much time. But the holographic interferometry can overcome study shows that the experimental results from holographic interferometry are compared with those obtained from Finite Element Method(FEM) and elastic equation. And then the results obtained by holographic interferometry are good agreement with the analysis of FEM and elastic equation. Therefore holographic interferometry can be a precise means for measurement of deformation with non-contact.

        태풍 나리(Nari)와 관련된 손상으로 응급실에 내원한 환자의 특성

        Purposes: Typhoon Nari attacked Jeju on September 16, 2007 and caused flood resulting from severe rainfall. We performed this study to determine the impact of a typhoon on emergency departments and to analyze characteristics of injured patients. Methods: First, we analyzed the correlation between precipitation and numbers of patient visits using the National Emergency Department Information System. Second, characteristics of typhoon related injuries (TRI) were compared with those of non-typhoon related injuries (Non-TRI). Data were extracted from the Cheju National University Hospital Injury Surveillance System. The impact of a typhoon on moderate or severe injury and death from injury was analyzed by case-control study. Results: The daily mean number of patients during a typhoon was larger than during previous six days. A dramatic rise in number of of injured patients (p=0.003) was noted after weather conditions improved. To analyze the characteristics of injury, 208 injured patients were enrolled. Among them 59 categorized as TRI and 116 as Non-TRI, respectively. TRI patients were older than Non-TIRI patients (p=0.001) and the most common mechanism, place, activity and object/substance in TRI were, respectively: cut/pierce, home, the vital activity, and building/building component or related fitting. By severity based on the NISS, TRI and Non- TRI were not significantly different. Relationship between a TRI patients and moderate or severe injury (OR=1.70, 95% CI: 0.39, 6.99) or death from injury (OR=5.28, 95% CI: 0.82, 56.5) was not significant statistically. Conclusion: In typhoon, preparation must be made for dramatic risk to patients with minor laceration in the ED. To prevent injury, it is imperative that people who live in dangerous housing are evacuated before the event.

        나노인덴테이션 방법으로 크롬 박막의 고유경도를 측정하는 방법과 영향 인자

        Materials with very small dimensions exhibit different physical and mechanical properties compared to their bulk counterparts. This becomes significantly important for the thin films that are widely used as components in micro-electronics and functional materials. In this study, a chromium (Cr) thin film was deposited on a silicon (Si) wafer by DC-magnetron sputtering. The intrinsic hardness of the Cr thin film on Si-wafer was evaluated by the nanoindentation method. We especially investigated ways of measuring the intrinsic hardness of the Cr thin film, and influential factors including the substrate effect and surface roughness effect. To further characterize the intrinsic hardness of the Cr thin film on Si-wafer, we used Xray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Two additional methods, the Meyer-plot and a profile for hardness versus indentation depth, were also employed. As a result of these two methods, we found that the profile for hardness versus indentation depth was valuable for evaluating the intrinsic hardness of Cr thin film on a Si-wafer substrate. The measured intrinsic hardness of the Cr thin film and Si wafer were about 900 Hv and 1143 Hv, respectively. The profile for hardness versus indentation depth can be widely used to evaluate the intrinsic hardness of metallic thin films on substrates.

        초등학생들의 감성지능과 생활환경인식 및 실천과의 관계

        The purpose of this study were to examine relationship between emotional quotient, cognition of living environment and practice by measuring elementary school students' emotional quotient, cognition of living environment and practice, and to present a method of inspiring elementary school students' environmental consciousness and a direction of environmental education in elementary schools. To achieve the above purposes of this study, theories and literature on emotional quotient and environmental education were considered. In addition, a questionnaire sheet was drawn up to measure emotional quotient, cognition of living environment and the degree of practice. A total of 250 questionnaire sheets were distributed to sixth graders at six rural schools in Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheonnam-do and an urban school in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do. Of these, valid questionnaire sheets were collected from 128 sixth graders in the urban area and 118 sixth graders in the rural areas, so a total of 246 questionnaire sheets were analyzed. As for statistical methods used in this analysis, frequency, percentage, t-test, F-test(one-way ANOVA), and correlation analysis were conducted and Scheffe-test was carried out as a post-test at 5% significance level. The results of this study were summed up as the following: (1) As a result of analyzing relationship between emotional quotient, cognition of living environment and practice depending on sex, significant difference was not indicated at 5% significance level. (2) As a result of analyzing relationship between emotional quotient, cognition of living environment and practice depending on place of residence, significant difference was indicated in place of residence and the degree of practicing environmental preservation at 5% significance level. (3) As a result of analyzing relationship between emotional quotient, cognition of living environment and practice, significant difference was shown in students' attitude and practice to preserve environment of sub-domains of cognition of living environment and practice at 1% significance level. (4) As a result of analyzing correlation between emotional quotient, cognition of living environment and practices, significant correlation among them was shown at 5% significance level. Judging from the above results, the relationship between emotional quotient, cognition of living environment and practice was significant. Thus, the degree of students' emotional quotient must be considered in implementing environmental education. In addition, the higher students' emotional quotient was, the more positive attitude to preserve environment students showed and the more actively students participate in environmental preservation. Therefore, it is required to provide students with programs for environmental education considering direct and indirect various emotional quotients in future environmental education.

      • 암세포에 반응하는 면역 세포에 미치는 Ascorbate의 영향 : Ascorbate의 항암 효과 기작 Mechanism of Anticancer Effects

        Ascorbate is well-known as the anticancer molecule and has been studied as the anticancer drug, but its action mechanism is not well understood. We examined the anticancer effects and mechanism of ascorbate on EL-4 lymphoma-implanted mice. Intraperitoneal administration of ascorbate expanded the survival of EL-4-bearing mice compared with control group(p<0.05). In vitro treatment of ascorbate did not affect the physiology of tumor cells, but in vivo treatment of ascorbate did on the immune function. Injection of ascorbate into EL-4-implanted mice enhanced the cell-mediated cytotoxicity of NK ceIls(p<0.05), without any significant effect on CTL activity. However, in vitro treatment of ascorbate did not enhance the cytotoxic activity of enriched NK cells. So, it is thought that anticancer effect of ascorbate due to the enhancement of ascorbate may be mediated by the nthar mPrhanicmc
