        조망 대상과 조망 위치에 따른 아파트 조망 경관 선호도 특성 분석

        The visual quality of landscape and view have been extensively studied in terms of an aesthetic value and a monetary asset. But other viewpoints such as the quality of the view at each apartment unit has been disregarded. Thus, in this paper, the characteristic of each view in an apartment unit was analyzed by means of the preference evaluation in order to deal with the view in terms of the quality. In the preference evaluation on the view at each apartment unit, the distance from a viewer to view targets was assumed all the same to each case, and representative view targets among diverse ones were accounted. In addition, the level in an apartment was partitioned into three groups ; low level, meddle level, and high level. Under these constraints, 33 cases were evaluated by 129 interviewees and then we found the valuable results from the 3 hypotheses as follows ; 1) A natural type view is more preferred than others(Hypothesis I). But the well-integrated view of a natural type and artificial type was the most preferred one by interviewees. 2) In the case of the same view target, view from a high level is more preferred than one from a low level(Hypothesis II). But the preference of the view target depends on the view characteristics of each level units. 3) The more natural views are, the more preferred view(Hypothesis III). But it was not directly related to the degree of the natural view.

      • An Assessment of Residents′Consciousness on Changes in Agricultural Landscape

        This study aims both to analyze view resources of on agricultural village and its original view image in order to establish indexation and the direction of development and to present assessment model of agricultural view for expectations in plan change for and improvement of agricultural view and alternative valuation. To do this, I selected four agricultural villages as the case areas for this study and examined view resources and their residents' consciousness through a questionnaire and investigated the image preference degree of agricultural village view and view preference. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The newly-introduced artificial view elements, according to development, are a hindrance element of agricultural view; as such Commercial buildings and transmission towers show the highest frequency and are increasing. The problem is that development is being made without any systematic plan. 2. In the examination of images of agricultural villages, the traditional ones are 2.82 on average, which means the view is modern; the natural ones are 3.3 on average, which indicates natural images; the agricultural ones are 3.67 on average, which emerge as agricultural images. View preference degree is 3.34 on average, which is usually good. 3. It is proved that all of the variables of type of location form and view image increase the degree of view preference; size in causal relation can be identified by parameter estimate; that Type I. image variables of agricultural-ness contribute to the dependent variables, view preference degree. 4. It is identified that view preference degree according to location from emerges mountain type, champaign type, and suburbs type in order of preference.

        라이프 스타일에 따른 텔레비전 시청패턴 연구

        This research aims at explaining patterns of television viewing by the type of the audience's lifestyle. Configuring lifestyle patterns and applying such typology to various consumer segmentations have been a popular research topic in the marketing field, but not so much in television audience studies. As television viewing becomes less and less homogeneous experiences for the audiences and as home entertainment and media options multiply, lifestyle segmentation emerges as a very useful tool to explain media consumption patterns. Using an one source data which combines metered audience ratings and audience survey on lifestyle questions along with various socio-economic backgrounds, we conducted factor analysis and cluster analysis to reach at five types of lifestyle patterns of the Korean television audience. The lifestyle questions were based on the LOV-approach. The five resulting lifestyles were The New Family Values, The Practical Health Orientations, Weak life Foci, The Traditional Family Values, and The Trend Followers. The typology of television viewing patterns was constructed based on the analysis of the actual ratings data. Television viewing consists of two different theoretical dimensions: Behaviors and content preference. The analyses of the rating data led us to four different viewing patterns: Heavy-Passive, Heavy-Active, Light-Passive, and Light-Active. On the content preference dimension, the audiences were grouped into four according to the preferred genres of TV programs actually watched: Entertainment, Drama, News, and Public Affairs and Realities. The results showed that differences in lifestyle patterns were significant in accounting for television viewing patterns on both behavioral and content preference dimensions. It was also found that at least in explaining broadcast television viewing the tried-and-true SES variables were as much powerful as more sophisticated lifestyle variables.

        시뮬레이션을 통한 관광지 시설물의 시각적 선호도 차이 분석

        The purpose of this study was to find out the 'visual characteristics' which give positive influence to the tourist attitude and to the tourist destination itself by asking people's preference for hardware surroundings. 33 images of the hardware surroundings, such as color, height of the view, form of architecture, landscape factors, number of visitors were made by using simulation techniques. Through two times of survey, visual preference for these images were measured by 197 subjects who participated in this study. The results were as follows: 1) Color: people preferred the color which makes harmony with other surroundings. 2) Height of the view: lower height such as 1.5m, 10m were preferred than 20m. 3) Form of architecture: curved form was perferred than the linear form. 4) Landscape factors: natural factors such as trees and water was preferred. 5) Number of visitors: the image composed with a few visitors wasn't preferred.

        공동주택단지에 있어서 주거환경이 조망권에 미치는 영향분석

        As the value of view of apartments becomes significant, Korea is also considering view to be important. Thus intangible resources such as view is judged by environmental agreeableness and economic value. Recently, preferences for pleasant living environment becomes increasingly important and even houses in same locations differ in its prices by its views or the so called "view premium".Modern views' are divided into natural view and manmade views and more construction plans considering these factors are increasing.Thus, this research has grasped the Busan residents' preference for views when purchasing houses and tried to find out what is an important factor in living space through satisfaction level. Research has been carried out on different views with one on one interview with residents to find out a solution to refer for apartment construction 최근 들어 좋은 조망을 지닌 쾌적한 주거환경에 대한 선호도가 점차 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있고, 동일지역에 위치한 주택이라도 우수한 경관을 지닌 곳은 주택가격이 높은, 이른바 조망프리미엄 수혜지역으로 각광받고 있다. 현재의 조망은 자연경관과 인공경관으로 나누어져 있으며, 공동주택 건립시 향과 더불어 조망을 고려한 단지계획이 늘어나는 추세이다.따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 부산에 거주하는 공동주택 거주민이 향후 공동주택단지 구입시 선호하는 주거환경을 파악하고, 그에 따른 만족도와 선호도 조사를 통하여 조망이 주거환경에서 얼마나 중요한 요소인지에 대하여 규명하였다. 분석방법으로 유형별 조망경관을 기준으로 연구를 진행하였으며, 직접면접조사방식을 사용하여 실질적인 거주민의 의식을 통하여 향후 공동주택단지를 건설하고자 할 경우 입지적 여건을 대입하여 분석할 경우 상당히 유용한 자료로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

        Measuring Individual Walking Accessibility based on Preference for Urban Walking Environment

        Walking is the most universal mode of transport for human beings. As walking accessibility is significantly associated with social equity, many urban planners have focused on the improvement of walking accessibility by developing pedestrian environments. However, the pedestrians can have different levels of walking accessibility depending on individual characteristics. However, walking accessibility tends to be measured with distance or travel time, ignoring individual aspects. This paper proposes a method to measure individual walking accessibility based on the preference for the urban walking environment. For an individual-based measurement, we suggest a preference-based IWAI (Individual Walking Accessibility Index) which quantifies individual level of walking accessibility by summing environmental factors multiplied by preference-based weights. We measure the visible proportion of street greenness and sky openness using street view images and obtain the last two factors by integrating traffic data with pedestrian network. Finally, by comparing the street images of the shortest and the preference-based walking accessible path from IWAI, the result highlights that walking accessibility can be measured by individual preference for the environmental factors. This study provides a novel approach for measuring individual walking accessibility based on preference, which support implementing public polices or urban planning for improving walking accessibility.

        Original Articles : A Study of Eccentric Viewing Training for Low Vision Rehabilitation

        Purpose: The definition of eccentric viewing (EV) is using non-foveal preferred retinal loci (PRL) for viewing. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the clinical effect of EV training for low vision rehabilitation in patients with central scotomas. Methods: The direction of EV was monitored in 30 low vision patients with central scotomas by moving the patient`s view. The PRL was found by using a direct ophthalmoscope and retinal camera; the preserved visual field was identified using a kinetic visual field analyzer. The relationships between EV, PRL, and visual field were evaluated. The patients and their guardians were educated regarding EV. After 2 weeks of self-training, maintenance of EV was checked and changes in best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), reading speed, and satisfaction questionnaire were evaluated. Results: A relationship between EV, PRL, and visual field was in accordance in half of the patients. There were no significant differences in demographics and basic visual characteristics in patients where the relationship was not in accordance. EV was maintained in two-thirds of the patients, but there were no significant differences in demographics and basic visual characteristics in patients who discontinued EV. There were no significant improvements in BCVA; however, reading speed and the satisfaction scores increased significantly with EV. Conclusions: The direction of EV was effectively detected by convenient access using an inexpensive method. Functional vision and satisfaction significantly improved following EV training. EV training can be used as an effective method for low vision rehabilitation in patients with central scotomas.

        창의적 이야기 쓰기용 세 그림기반 과제 유형

        본 연구는 그림을 사용한 세 유형의 이야기 쓰기 과제를 개발하고 각각 Series, Predict, Connect라 명명하였다. 이 과제 유형들을 학생 집단과 전문가 집단에게 제시하여 이들의 관점에 의거하여 과제 특성과 반응에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 했다. 137명의 학생들에게 이들 유형을 근거로 이야기를 쓴다면 어느 유형을 선호하는지 설문하였고, 74명의 전문가들에게 과제 난이도와 권장여부를 설문하였다. 자료 분석에는 빈도분석과 교차분석이 활용되었다. 학생들이 월등히 선호한 유형은 Connect 유형이었으며, Predict 유형과 Series 유형이 그 뒤를 이었다. 이 경향은 성별, 학년별(초등3∼중2) 및 영어성취 수준별(저, 고, 영재)로 보아도 마찬가지였다. 학생들이 Connect 과제를 가장 선호하는 이유는 이 과제가 소재의 선택과 창작의 자유를 허용한다는 것이었다. 그러나 전문가들의 관점에서 볼 때 Connect 유형은 창의성이 요구되기 때문에 가장 어려운 과제로 꼽혔다. 또한 전체 줄거리가 제시된 Series형은 학생들이 상대적으로 가장 덜 선호한 유형이었으나, 전문가들은 학생들이 이 유형을 쓸 경우 학생들의 인지적 부담이 줄고 채점 기준이 명확할 수 있다는 점을 고려하여 쓰기 연습과 평가 과제로 가장 권장하였다. This study presented three types of story-writing tasks using pictures to 137 students. The three tasks are entitled as 'Series', 'Predict' and 'Connect.' The students were asked which type they would prefer if they were asked to write a story. Experts (N = 74) were asked about which task would be most difficult and easiest and which they would recommend. The data were analyzed using frequencies and cross-tabulations. The majority of the students showed a strong preference for Connect, followed by the Predict and Series types. There was no gender preference for Connect, nor was there any change as a function of grade level (3rd to 8th) or English proficiency (low, high, and gifted-talented). Experts regarded Connect as the most difficult because it required creativity to connect isolated items in a meaningful way while students preferred this type because it allowed the freedom to choose from given items and connect them as they liked. As far as the best task for composition practice as well as evaluation is concerned, experts recommended Series because it provided a full storyline, which served to reduce the students' cognitive load in having to create story content, and because it provided a baseline for scoring and comparing writing across all students.

        유튜브에서 추천시스템을 통한 몰입이 충동시청에 미치는 영향 연구

        유튜브는 사람들이 가장 많은 시간을 보내는 온라인 서비스 플랫폼 중 하나로 자리잡았으나, 이용자 들이 많은 시간을 해당 서비스에서 보내게 되는 이유에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구 는 유튜브 추천시스템의 역량이 이용자들로 하여금 계획하지 않았던 동영상을 시청하게 만들어 오래 머물게 하고 있을 것으로 예상하였다. 본 연구는 추천시스템이 사용자의 선호에 부합하는 추천대안을 제시해 의사결정에 도움을 줄 수 있는 역량인 선호적합성이 소비자의 몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 충동시청 욕구와 충동시청으로 이어지는 연구모형을 제시하였다. 연구모형의 검증 결과 유튜브 추천시 스템의 선호적합성이 온라인 몰입을 구성하는 요인인 집중, 통제감, 즐거움에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였으며, 이 중 통제감과 즐거움이 충동시청 욕구를 통해 충동시청에 영향을 미치고 있음 을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 유튜브를 비롯한 동영상 서비스 플랫폼 및 소비자 여가와 관련한 온라인 서 비스 운영자의 측면에서 추천시스템의 역량을 강화시켜야할 필요성을 제시하고 있으며, 온라인 서비스 소비자 관점에서는 합리적인 행동으로 볼 수 없는 충동적인 선택을 관리하기 위한 통제전략을 활용해 야할 필요성을 함의하고 있다. YouTube has become one of the online service platforms where people spend the most time, but little research has been done on the reasons why users spend a lot of time on the service. This study expected that the capabilities of the YouTube recommender system will make users watch unplanned videos and stay for a long time. A research model is proposed that the preference fit, which is the ability to help decision making by suggesting recommendation alternatives, has a positive effect on consumers’ flow, and leading to urges to view and impulse viewing. The result shows that the preference fit of the YouTube recommender system has a positive effect on the concentration, sense of control, and enjoyment that makes up online flow, and among them, sense of control and enjoyment are affecting impulse viewing through urges to view. In terms of the service provider, this study presents the need to enhance the capabilities of the recommender system, and from the consumer’s perspective, it implies the need to use a regulating strategy to manage impulse choices that cannot be seen as rational actions.

      • Analysis of Audience Interest and User Clustering Based on Program Tags

        This paper proposes an analysis method of user behavior to provide personalized program recommendation based on program tags in the field of broadcasting and television. Multidimensional Scaling Analysis is used to produce a quantitative description of viewing preferences. Hierarchical clustering is performed to determine the number of clusters, followed by K-means clustering to group the data according to audience interest in TV program tags. This divides the audience into groups with similar viewing preferences.
