정준상관 행렬도와 군집분석을 응용한 KLPGA 선수의 기술과 경기성적요인에 대한 연관성 분석

정준상관 행렬도(canonical correlation biplot)는 정준상관분석에서 두 변수 집단에 의해서 측정된 다변량 자료에서 변수 집단 간의 관계와 개체들의 관계를 탐색하기 위한 2차원 그림이다. 이는 일반적으로 최용석 (2006, 1장)의 한 변수 집단에 의한 행렬자료에 대한 일반적인 행렬도를 두 변수 집단에 의한 행렬자료로 확장한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 최근에 Choi와 Kim (2008)은 개체들이 많은 대용량 자료에서 행렬도의 해석상 힘든 문제점을 지적하고 이를 극복하는 데 군집분석을 활용하는 방법을 제시하고 있다. 일반적인 행렬도에서 발생하는 대용량 자료에 대한문제는 정준상관 행렬도에서도 동일하게 발생하곤 한다. 본 연구에서는 2006년도 KLPGA 선수 중 상금 순위 상위 50명을 대상으로 정준상관 행렬도를 통해 기술요인변수군(평균 퍼팅수. 그린 적중율, 파 세이브율, 파 브레이크율)과 경기성적요인변수군(상금, 평균 타수)간의 관련성을 살펴보고 군집분석을 활용하여 각 선수들의 군집을 시도하려한다. Canonical correlation biplot is 2-dimensional plot for investigating the relationship between two sets of variables and the relationship between observations and variables in canonical correlation analysis graphically. In general, biplot is useful for giving a graphical description of the data. However, this general biplot and also canonical correlation biplot do not give some concise interpretations between variables and observations when the number of observations are large. Recently, for overcoming this problem, Choi and Kim (2008) suggested a method to interpret the biplot analysis by applying the K-means clustering analysis. Therefore, in this study, we will apply their method for investigating the relationship between skill and competition score factors of KLPGA players using canonical correlation biplot and cluster analysis.

CTLA-4, a T cell activation antigen and a homologue of CD28, was originally identified as a gene by a series of reverse genetic approaches. While CD28 molecule has been characterized well as a stimulator of T-cell function via enhanced lymphokines production and stablilization of those mRNA, most of the functions of CTLA-4 remain unknown. It has been widely accepted that CTLA-4 functions as an immune suppressor which is down-regualting the function of CD28. We previously showed that 34 KD form of this antigen mainly expressed CD8+ subset, a cytotoxic or suppressor, of activated peripheral blood lymphocyte. Based on our previous finding this study was conducted to further characterize immunological function of CTLA-4 especially in terms of involvement of this molecule in T-cell effector function mediating target cell cytotoxicity. 4 human T cell clones with different target cytotoxicities were employed in this study. NBL46 (CD4+) and NBL77 (CD8+) were cytotoxic and NBL32 (CD4+) and NBL58 (CD 8+) were non-cytotoxic to target LBF cell in target cell chromium release assay. And in Western blot assay 34 kD antigen was detected in NBL46 (CD4+) and NBL77 (CD8+) clones but not in NBL32 (CD4+) and NBL58 (CD8+) clones. It was summarized that expression of the CTLA-4 antigen was associated with cytotoxicity but not with subset phenotypes of T cells. In conclusion CD8+ T subset of PHA-stimulated PBL was major and only CTLA-4 producer and this molecule was induced during mid to late stage of T cell activation. The cytotoxicity of T cell clones to its target cell was directly correlated with its CTLA-4 production and vice versa. And it was highly suggested that primary function of CTLA-4 may involved in T cell effector function which mediates target cell killing.

저자들은 호흡곤란, 흉부불쾌감, 심계항진 등을 주소로 내원한 환자에서 경흉부 및 경식도 심초음파 검사상 주폐동맥에서 이완기에 전행하는 지속적인 혈류의 흐름을 관찰하고, 관상동맥 조영술을 통해 좌전하행지 중간부위와 우관상동맥 근위부에서 각각 기시하여 공통경로를 이루면서 주폐동맥으로 유입되는 양측성 관상동정맥루를 보이는 드문 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. A coronary arteriovenous fistula is infrequently encountered vascular communication between a coronary artery and a cardiac chamber, a great artery or the vena cava. It is the most common congenital anomaly that can affect coronary perfusion. Bilateral involvement of coronary fistula constitutes an uncommon subgroup of coronary arteriovenous fistulas. A 69 year-old female patient presented with chest discomfort, palpitation, and dyspnea. In the echocardiography, doppler color flow imaging visualized abnormal flow signals with mosaic appearance in the main pulmonary artery during diastolic phase. Coronary angiography revealed arteriovenous fistula arising from the left anterior descending artery and the right coronary artery. Both coronary arteriovenous fistulas drained into the main pulmonary artery. We report a case of bilateral coronary arteriovenous fistula that was confirmed by echocariography and coronary angiography.

The purpose of this study was to develop a new ^13C-urea-containing capsule for diagnosis of H.pylori. The urea-containing capsules were prepared with various diluents such as polyethylene glycol (PEG), microcrystaline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate and citric acid. The dissolution test, ^13C-urea breath test and stability test were then performed on the capsules. Microcrystalline cellulose and sodium lauryl sulfate retarded the initial dissolution rates of urea. However, PEG increased the initial dissolution rates of urea. Furthermore, two formulae composed of PEG,[^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] and [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9/1.9 mg/cap)] had the maximum DOB value. about 16 at 20 min, while the formula composed of only 38 mg ^13C-urea had the maximum DOB value at 30 min. The results indicated that PEG improved the sensitivity of ^13C-urea in the human volunteers. The capsule [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] was stable for at least six months in 25 and 37℃. Thus, a PEG-containing capsule, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] would be a more economical, sensitive and stable perparation for diagnosis of H. pylori.

In the tradition of American drama, Edward Albee has taken a specific place as one of the most competent and intelligent playwrights. Throughout his long career, he has attracted much attention from the audience and critics alike. But his success as a major dramatist was never attained by accident but a natural product of his early interest in writing novels and poems. Albee's early plays are closely related to his individual life. His departure from literary convention and his temperament as a bum have much to do with a tragic situation in which he was placed as a deserted child. Though adopted by a rich family, he couldn't escape from his spiritual wandering and agony. In particular, he was the very picture of criticism against the corrupted bourgeois society. As shown in his careers, his life, in essence, is the continuation of wandering. Roaming along the streets of New York, he saw a lot of people from almost all walks of life. Their lives and expreriences are deeply embedded in his early plays. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that six of his nine early plays are about 'a deserted child' and 'a permanent transient.' In The Zoo Story, Albee touchingly describes a social outcast isolated from other people and the world. The two characters, Jerry and Peter, are the ordinary people we come across on the streets. But they are also the allegory of fundamental human loneliness and alienation regardless of time and place. In Jerry and Peter, we can find the image of ourselves in a modern society. This paper aims to analyze the aspects of human relations as suggested in The Zoo Story. For this, it deals with the four main categories of human relations; the absence of communication, sexual obssession, animalistic nature, and physical contacts and violence. All these concepts have constituted the philosophical background of Albee's plays. His main concern was to suggest a more univeral human situation and a dilemma facing a contemporary society. In The Zoo Story, Albee shows how human relations are distorted and how eager we have been to get out of human isolation and alienation. But he is never a pessimist. By giving religious implications to Jerry's death, Albee suggests the possibility of change in distorted human relations. While caputring the dark side of human relations and the contemporary society, the playwright also talks about new hope and optimism.

Friction effects in rotor system with a brush type D. C. servo motor is explored for the precise position control based on experiments. The success of friction compensation depends on the accurate measurement of real friction torque. Experimental results have clearly shown that both static and dynamic friction have nonsymmetric characteristics. Estimated friction torque was used to linearize the system by feedforward compensator. In practice, overcompensation may cause another stability problem due to sampling time, gain, and modeling. Therefore, a compensation ratio was introduced for the elimination of the instability.

알레르기성 자반증 환자에서 캡슐내시경으로 공장궤양을 진단한 1예

Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) is the most common form of systemic vasculitis in children. Palpable purpura, arthralgia, arthritis, abdominal pain and renal involvement are the major clinical manifestations. Gastrointestinal involvement is related with abdominal pain and bleeding. We described a 71 year-old female experienced acute exacerbation of HSP presented with gastrointestinal bleeding. She was hospitalized for hematemesis and diagnosed duodenitis by esophagogastroduonenoscopy (EGD). Duodenitis was improved at EGD checked in 7 days. She still complained of melena and abdominal pain. There were no abnormal findings at sigmoidoscopy. Jejunal ulcer and purpura were diagnosed by capsule endoscopy. Symptoms were relieved after administration of systemic steroid. But she needed renal replacement therapy for 3 months. Small bowel ulcer diagnosed by capsule endoscopy in patients with HSP was rarely described in Korean literature. This case suggests that capsule endoscopy have a role in diagnosis of small bowel ulcer and its severity in HSP with gastrointestinal symptom.
