        한국형 리더십 과정 개발과 적용 및 성과에 관한 실증적 연구 : ‘지혜인 리더십 과정’을 중심으로

        21C 글로벌 경영환경에서 국가경쟁력 제고를 위한 인적자원 개발의 중요성이 커지고 있으며, 서구적 경영 패러다임의 한계를 극복할 한국형 리더십 과정의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 한국형 리더십 과정의 개발과 적용 및 성과 측정에 관한 최초의 연구라는 점에 의의가 크다. 한국이라는 지역이 갖는 문화적 특수성과 경영 패러다임이 급속하게 변하는 상황을 고려할 때 한국형 리더십 과정의 개발이 시급히 요구된다. 경영 패러다임의 변화가 지식경영에서 지혜경영으로 변화하는 변곡점에 있다고 볼 때, 각 조직 구성원에게 보다 효과적으로 수용되는 ‘한국형 리더십’은 ‘지혜인 리더십’이라 할 수 있다. 지혜인(Wise Man)은 높은 수준의 자기수양을 함으로써 자기중심성을 극복하고 도덕성과 통찰력을 갖춘 자를 말한다. 우리 민족은 심신수양을 근간으로 한 지혜의 민족이며, 그 중 한국 고유의 리더십은 조선시대 정신적 리더였던 군자에게서 찾을 수 있는데, 그 철학적 기반은 유학에서 찾을 수 있다. 유학은 안으로 자기의 인격을 완성하고 밖으로 그 완성된 인격으로 세상 사람들을 돕는 수기(修己: self-leadership)와 치인(治人: leadership)의 실천적 학문이다. 그런 점에서 유학의 핵심 개념인 성(性), 도(道), 경(敬), 인(仁), 중(中), 통(通) 등의 개념을 현대적 리더십으로 구체화하고, 덕(德)의 리더십을 회복함으로써 조직 구성원과 고객을 행복하게 하는 안민(安民)의 리더십이 곧 ‘지혜인 리더십’인 것이다. 한편 서양에서도 성경에 지혜라는 단어가 400여회 나오는 점 등을 볼 때 동양 사상과 서양 사상이 지혜를 근간으로 한다는 면에서 일맥상통하는 점을 발견할 수 있었으며, 세계화의 가능성도 엿볼 수 있다. ‘지혜인 리더십 과정’은 지혜경영 연구소에서 개발하여 삼성전자 등에서 196명의 정규과정(24시간 이상) 수료자와 경기중소기업CEO과정 등에서 95명의 단축과정(7~8시간) 수료자를 포함하여 총 291명의 수료자를 배출했다. 손기원은 2004년 7월부터 2006년 12월까지 2년 6개월의 기간을 투입하여 과정을 개발하고 2007년부터 과정을 본격적으로 운영했으며, 문형남은 과정에 피교육생으로 직접 참여하고 성과를 측정했다. ‘지혜인 리더십 과정'의 성과를 측정하기 위해 독자적으로 고안한 피드백 프로그램을 적용하였다. 과정을 시작하는 시점과 과정이 끝나는 시점에 24개의 똑같은 문항의 설문으로 자기평가를 하게 함으로써 과정의 성과를 측정했다. 그 결과 과정 시작시 평균 69.6점(100점 만점으로 환산)에서 과정 종료시 평균 81.3점(100점 만점으로 환산)으로 16.9% 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 노사관계 패러다임이 분배투쟁 위주에서 인적자원개발로 전환되고 있고, 인적자원개발 수요가 확대일로에 있는 상황에서 이제 우리는 개발된 과정에 대한 과학적 분석과 평가, 과정 개발 전문가와 진행자(FT) 등 전문인력 양성, 한국형 리더십 프로그램의 세계화 및 각급 학교 정규 교육에의 적용 등을 통해 한국형 리더십 프로그램을 발전시켜 나가야 할 것이다. 그것은 서구적 경영 패러다임의 한계를 극복하고 인적자원개발의 새로운 지평을 열어가는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다. Importance of 'development of human resources' for 'raise of national competitive power' in 21C global management environment has become more larger, and necessity of Korean style leadership program which can overcome limit of western management paradigm has become more bigger. This study is very meaningful because this is first study about development and application of Korean style leadership program. Development of Korean style leadership program is needed urgently, when we consider of 'cultural particularity of Korea' and 'the situation of fast change in management paradigm'. Considering we are in the turning point, change of management paradigm from knowledge management to wisdom management, Korean style leadership, which is accepted more effectively by members of organizations in Korea, can be 'wise man leadership'. 'Wise Man' is a person who has ethicality and insight, and overcomes self-centeredness by culturing superbly'. Korean inherent leadership can be found in 'man of virtue' who was mental leader in Joseon Dynasty, that philosophical base can be found in Confucianism. Confucianism, which is mainstream of oriental thought, is practical study about self-leadership(修己) and leadership(治人) which asserts a completion of inner self-personality and exterior aid of other people in world by complete personality. Therefore, we can think that whole oriental thoughts have a management-philosophical characteristic of individual self-management leadership and organiaztion-management leadership. In that point, It is important that we recover leadership of Deok(德: virtue) and embody concepts as Seong(性: natural mind), Do(道: morality), Kyung(敬: concentration), In(仁: humanity), Choong(中: moderation), Tong(通 : interchange), which are just like oriental thought's core concept, as modern leadership. As a result of that, leadership of calming people(安民), which makes organization's members and customers happy, is ‘Wise Man Leadership’. ‘Wise Man Leadership Course’ is developed in wisdom-management institute, and it produces total 291 recipients, including 196 recipients of regular course (more than 24hours) in Samsung Electronics etc. and 96 recipients of shortened course(7~8 hours) in CEO course of small and medium enterprises in Gyeonggi region. Shon Kiwon developed and ran this program, and Hyung Nam Moon participated in this program and measured outcome as an educates. We applied feedback program, which is designed solitarily, to measure outcome of ‘Wise Man Leadership Course’. We measure outcome of the course by self-estimating with same 24 questions at the beginning of the course and at the end of the course. As a result of that, it shows the result that average of 69.6 (of 100 point) at the beginning of the course has become as average 81.3(of 100 point) at the end of the course and it means rise of 14.1 point which is 16.9%. Now we should develop Korean style leadership program through scientific analysis and valuation of developed course, training of professional manpower just like course development experts and masters(FT), globalization of Korean style leadership program and applying regular school curiculum. It is expected as an opportunity which will overcome limit of western management paradigm and pioneer new area of 'development of human resources'.

        동결온도가 해동 쇠고기의 품질에 미치는 영향

        동결온도가 해동우육의 품질에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 해동드립감량은 -3℃ 동결이 30일째에 3.4%, -20℃ 동결이 60일째에 1.8%로 높았으며, -3℃가 -20℃보다 드립량이 많았다. 가열감량은 water bath와 pan 가열 모두 저장초기보다 동결저장중에 현저하게 높았으나, 동결온도에 의한 차이는 없었다. 염용성 단백질의 추출성은 동결기간이 경과함에 따라 감소하였고, -20℃에서 동결한 것이 -3℃에서 동결한 것보다 추출성이 높았다. 수용성 단백질의 추출은 -3℃의 경우 동결기간에 따라 현저한 변화가 없었으나, -20℃에서 동결한 것은 동결기간에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 명도(L)는 동결초기가 높았고 적색도(a)는 동결기간에 따른 변화가 없었으며, 황색도(b)는 동결초기보다 동결중에 더 높았다. Myoglobin의 변성율은 -3℃의 경우 45일째, -20℃의 경우 15일째 각각 94.4%와 94.0%로 가장 높았다. 전단력가는 동결초기보다 저장기간이 경과함에 따라 높아졌으며, 근원섬유의 소편화도는 동결저장중 현저한 변화가 없었다. pH는 -3℃와 -20℃ 모두 30일째까지 높아지다가 그 이후 낮아지는 경향을 나타내었다. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of freezing temperature on quality of thawed beef loin. In case of thaw drip loss, the freezing of -3℃ and -20℃ were higest by 3.4% to 30 days and by 1.8% to 60 days, respectively. And the thaw drip loss of -3℃ freezing was more than -20℃ freezing. The cooking loss of water bath and pan boiling were increased significantly during freezing than the beginning of freezing, but were not different -3℃ and -20℃. The salt soluble protein extractability was decreased during freezing, the -20℃ freezing was higher than -3℃ freezing. The water soluble protein extractability of -3℃ freezing was not significant different during freezing storage, that freezed at -20℃ was increased during freezing. The "L" value of the beginning of freezing was higher than during freezing, the "a" value was not different during freezing, and the "b" value during freezing was higher than the beginning of feezing. The myoglobin denatured percentaged of the -3℃ and -20℃ freezing were highest by 94.4% to 45 days and by 94.0% to 15 days, respectively. The shear force value during freezing was higher than the beginning of freezing, the myofibrillar fragmentation index was not significant different during freezing. The pH was increased to freezing 30 days, after that was decreased.

        From May to July 1993, we observed an epidemic of aseptic meningitis. We performed clinical and virological studies on 174 children with aseptic meningitis who had been admitted to the Department of Pediatrics, Asan Medical Center, from May to July, 1993 The results were as follows; 1) This epidemic of aseptic meningitis was most prevalent in June 1993. The most of the patients were 3 to 6 years old and male to female ratio was 1.6 : 1. 2) The most patients suffered from fever, vomiting, headache, and abdominal pain was noticed in 36% of patients, characteristically. 3) In 7 cases among 10 randomly sampled cases, enterovirus was cultured. Among them, we performed serotyping in 3 cases and Echovirus 9 was isolated.

        백서에서 Depulpin®과 Formocresol에 대한 치수와 치근단 조직의 반응

        One fifth dilution of formocresol is usually for pulpotomy of the primary teeth and emergency pulpotomy of the permanent teeth. However, the use of formaldehyde has been subjected to criticism because it may be absorbed into the blood stream and become distributed systemically, it may also alter the pulp tissue rendering it immumologically active, and have carcinogenic potential. Recently Depulpin®(VoCo., Germany) gains popularity as a devitalizing agent during root canal therapy in spite of high concentration of 49% paraformaldehyde because it facilitate devitalization of pulp and make root canal therapy easier. But there have been not enough publications about the reaction of pulp and periapical tissue caused by Depulpin. This study was performed to evaluate the histological changes in pulp and periapical tissue of rats after pulpotomy using formocresol and Depulpin and to elucidate the toxic effects of these agents. Thirty six Sprague-Dawley rats were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of ketamine. Maxillary first molar teeth were used for pulpotomy with formocresol and Depulpin. Rats were sacrificed after 2 days, 4 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and 4 weeks respectively. Specimens were histologically observed by light microscope changes in pulp and periapical tissue. The obtained results were as follows. 1. Formocresol group A zone of fixed tissue, in which odontoblasts could clearly be defined, was present directly underneath the pulpotomy dressing in almost all teeth of this group. This was followed by an area of necrotic tissue which resembled dried out fibrous tissue with no cellular detail except some pyknotic nuclei. In the specimens of after 2 days, 4 days, 1 week, 2 weeks in which vital tissue was present. it was separated from the fibrous area by a zone of inflammation. In the specimens of after 3 weeks and after 4 weeks, inflammatory infiltrate was in the periodontal ligament adjacent to the apical foramina of the teeth. 2. Depulpin® group The area of necrotic tissue which had no cells and fibers , was present adjacent to the dressing. This was followed by dried out fibrous tissue with no cellular details except some pyknotic nucleli. A short stump of vital pulp with odontoblasts was present at the end of the canal after 2 days. Inflammatory infiltrate was in the periodontal ligament after 4 days and after 1week. Severe root resorption and necrosis of periapical tissue opposite the root resorption site were defined after 2 weeks and after 3 weeks. Periapical lesion which consist of necrotic tissue surrounded by a fibrous connective wall. was found after 4 weeks. The results indicated that Depulpin can cause more adverse reaction to the dental pulp and periapical tissue than formocresol, and further studies are needed for its clinical use with safety.

      • 간 세포암에서 VEGF, TGF-β1, b-FGF 발현의 의의

        Purpose: Angiogenesis is important for the proliferation and the metastasis of solid tumors. The growth of a solid tumor is widely recognized to depend on the process of neovascularrozation. Without angiogenesis, tumors cease to grow beyond even a few milimeters in diameter. It has been shown that tumor vascular density is an independent prognostic marker in several types of human tumors and is known to correlate with poor prognosis. To date, many angiogenic factors have been identified, such as transforming growth factor-α(TGF-α), transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β), fibroblast growth factor family(FGF), vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), platelet derived endothelial cell growth factor(PD-ECGF), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and angiogenin. Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is the second most common tumor in Korean males and is known as a typical hypervascular tumor with frequent portal vein invastion. The authors identified the expreesion of VEGF, TGF-β1, and b-FGF in HCC specimens and evaluated the relationship between these growth factors and the clinicopathologic characteristics of HCC. Method: We reviewed the medical records of 30 patients who were diagnosed as hepatocellular carinoma treated with hepatic resection between January 1994 and December 1998 in Soonchunhyang University Chunan Hospital. The selection of the cases was decided according to the condition of paraffin block fixation. The prognostic factors such as age, sex, tumor size, concentration of serum α-fetoprotein, presence of liver cirrhosis, presence of tumor emboli in portal vein, TMN stage, amount of transfusion during the operation, hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection, and Edmonson-Steiner(E-S) grade were investigated. Relationship between the prognostic factors and the immunopathologic expression of the TGF-β1, b-FGF, and VEGF was examined. Result: Thirty patients (24 males, 6 females) were included in the current study. The patient's mean age was 50.6 years and the age ranged from 36 to 65 years. The mean size of the tumor was found to be 5.2cm. All the patients were follewed up for 7 to 63 months. Child's classification A patients were 23(76.7%)cases, B patients were 7(23.3%)cases, and C was none. Immunohistochemical staining of HCC tumor mass in VEGF expression patients were 17(56.7%), b-FGF expression patients were 10(33.3%), and TGF-β1 expression patients were 10(33.3%). VEGF expression or more than one positive expression among the three factors correlated with tumor size and the stage of HCC but did not correlated with other clinicopathological characteristics. TGF-β1 and b-FGF did not correlate with any clinicopathological characteristics. Conclusion: The results suggest that the expression of VEGF or more than one positive expression among the three factors in HCC cells may be a significant prognostic factor of HCC.

        핵전이에 의한 Aspergillus oryzae var. oryzae와 Aspergillus nidulans 514의 잡종으로 부터 생산된 Xylanase의 특성

        Aspergillus oryzae var oryzae 와 Aspergillus nidulans 514간의 xylanase 우수 생성 종간 형질전환체를 획득하고, 유전분석과 정제를 통하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 핵전이를 위한 원형질체 형성 및 재생 조건에서는 Novozym 234의 농도 1%, 삼투안정제는 0.6M (NH_4)_2 SO_4, 효소의 처리 시간은 90분 그리고 최적 pH는 5.8로 나타났다. 2. 핵전이에 의한 형질전환의 빈도는 3×10 exp (-5)~1×10 exp (-5)으로 비교적 낮은 편이었다. 3. 유전적 안정성, conidia의 크기, DNA 함량의 측정 그리고 핵염색의 결과 형질전환체의 핵형은 aneuploid로 추정되었다. 4. 형질전환체의 xylanase 활성은 모균주와 비교하여 1.1~1.4배 증가하였다. 5. 형질전환체중 xylanase 활성이 가장 높은 TAVD514-3을 정제하고 몇가지 특성을 조사하였는데 전체적인 회수율이 17%, 분자량은 32,000 그리고 효소 활성에 미치는 기질의 영향을 올 조사하였다. 6. 정제된 효소의 최적 pH와 온도는 각각 pH 9.0과 80℃로 나타났으며, 효소활성은 Mg^2+ 와 Mn^2+의 존재시에 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. Inerspecific hybrids between Aspergillus oryzae var oryzae and A. nidulans 514 were obtained by nuclear transfer technique. Several auxotrophic mutants isolated from conidiospores of the two strains were mutagenized with ultraviolet and N-methyl-N-nitrosoguanidine. Optimal conditions for formation of intergeneric hybrids were investigated. Frequencies of hybrid formation by nuclear transfer were 3×10 exp (-5)~1×10 exp (-5). From observation of genetic stability, conidial size, DNA content, and nuclear stain, it was suggested that their karyptypes are aneuploid. The hybrids showed 1.1~1.4 fold higher xylanase activities than parental strains did. The xylanase of Aspergiilus sp. TAVD514-3 was purified and some of it's enzymatc characteristics were investigated. The enzyme was purified about 85 fold with an overall yield of 17% from the culture medium by ammonium sulfate fractionation, Sephadex G-75 gel permeation chromatography, and CM-sephadex A-50 ion exchange chromatography. The purified enzyme functions optimally at pH 9.0 and 80℃. The enzymatic activity was increased by the presence of Mg^2+ and Mn^2 ions.
