        대전시 3 대 하천의 수질 및 식물플랑크톤상에 관한 연구

        The studies on physico-chemical factors and phytoplankton at the 3 rivers in the Taejon city were conducted from November 1997 to May 1998. The Results were as follows; In the water quality, the down streams were generally worse than the upper streams. Water temperature was varied from 2.4℃ to 23.0℃; DO from 1.80㎎/ℓ to 17.6㎎/ℓ ; pH from 4.7 to 10.4 ; BOD from 0.78㎎/ℓ to 8.80㎎/ℓ; COD from 0.32㎎/ℓ to 8.26㎎/ℓ ; SS from 2.0㎎/ℓ to 43.0㎎/ℓ ; total phosphate was from 0.001㎎/ℓ to 0.709㎎/ℓ ; total nitrogen 0.01㎎/ℓto 11.69㎎/ℓ . In phytoplankton species, they were identified as total 191 taxa composed of 8 classes, 18 orders, 35 families, 74 genera, 152 species, 35 varieties and 4 forms. The dominant species were Synedra ulna in Taejon-chon, Diatoma vulgare in Yudong-chon, Oscillatoria princeps, Scenedesmus gadricauda, Synedra ulna, and Diatom vulgare in Gap-chon. Standing crops of phytoplankton were from 2,076 cells/㎖ to 97,356 cells/㎖.

      • 대학의 조직문화와 조직유효성의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to verify positively the relationships between university organizational culture and its organizational effectiveness. Specially, the researcher has tried to identify the possibilities of an application of organizational culture in the management of University, therefore, the relationships between those two factors which has been recognized by the faculty members as well as the workers in the university. The independent variables were the patterns of university organizational culture, the control variables were the patterns of individualism-collectivism, and dependent variables were the concentration into the organization and the citizens' organizational actions which were regarded as the organizational effectiveness. The patterns of the university organizational culture were classified as the relationship oriented, renovation oriented, the task oriented, and hierarchy structure oriented. The subjects of this study were the faculty members and the workers who were in the randomly selected 33 universities in Korea. The results of this study were as follow: First, there were no significant differences in the effects of the renovation oriented, the task oriented, and hierarchy structure oriented on the organizational effectiveness, however, the patterns of the relationship oriented showed the positive effects on the organizational effectiveness. Second, there were the significant differences in the effects of the patterns of individualism & collectivism on the organizational effectiveness. The subjects who showed the stronger collectivism were regarded positively in the organizational effectiveness. In this study, the organization members showed the stronger collectivism than individualism. Third, the highly positive effectiveness of organizational structure were revealed when the workers showed the renovation oriented with their individualism, which indicated the positive effectiveness could be expected on the organizational performances with the organization members' priority of renovation and with their personal task in forward. Also, the negative effects could be expected on the organizational effectiveness when the individualism were oriented on the university performances instead of collectivism oriented with their task oriented patterns. The concentration on the organization and the organizational citizens' actions were influenced more positively by the members' patterns of value system compared to the patterns of organizational culture. The university organizational culture and its organizational effectiveness were reviewed historically and its definitions were demonstrated academically in this study, however, the failure of showing the definitions in the broader meanings of the relationships between university organizational cultures and the organizational effectiveness has been overcome by the reviewing the patterns of organization citizens' actions which were required for the management of university individuals.

        This study deals with effects of surface treatment on the bending fatigue strength of SCM420 spur gears. We manufactured gears using manufacture processes that are currently used in most gears manufacturing companies, we applied heat-treatment, and then we applied shot peening. In addition, we investigated the effect these surface-treatments had on hardened layer and compression residual stress in the risk section of the teeth. The fatigue test at a constant stress amplitude is performed by using an electrohydraulic serve-controlled pulsating tester. The S-N curves are obtained and illustrated. We investigated the effect of surface-treatment on fatigue strength and the position of crack of gear teeth.

      • 세침 흡인술을 이용한 종창된 림프절의 세포학적 평가

        Fine needle aspiration(FNA) cytology is considered as the diagnostic technique of choice in the assessment of swellen lymph nodes. The aim of this study is to determine the indication and diagnostic method of FNA of lymph node lesions performed at Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. The records of 16 patients which had undergone FNA during the study period were retrieved. The cytological results were classified as lymphadenitis, lymphoid hyperplasia and lymphoma. Lymphoma cases were classified as B-cell origin and T-cell by immunophenotyping. The result of the FNA cytological diagnosis showed that nine (56%) of the patients were lymphoma, five (31%) of the patients were lymphoid hyperplasia and two (13%) of the patients were lymphadenitis.

      • 독성물질의 세포사 기전 및 세포사 유발물질의 검색법 개발에 관한 연구(Ⅰ) : 독성물질로 인한 파킨슨병 모델에서의 세포사 기전 연구 Study on the cell-death mechanisms of toxin-induced parkinsonism

        MPTP 독성물질이 도파민성 신경세포에 선택적으로 작용하여 산화성 손상에 의한 신경세포사를 일으키는 것을 이용하여 파킨슨병의 동물모델을 만들고, 이를 통해서 아폼토시스를 비롯한 포사의 기전에 대한 연구 및 너코틴의 신경세포 보호효과 여부를 판정하는 실험을 병행하고자 하였다. 파킨슨꾐의 동물모델을 MPTf 독성 물질을 이용하여 확립하였으며, MPTP(30mgag, i.p.)를 투여한 후 1, 2,3, 4, 5일째 흑질 조직을 채춰하여 tarm로 박걸하여 tyrosine hydroxylase 면역조직화학염색을 수행하여 cell countif우한 결과, control은 57.635ce11s, 1일째 친.OfDells,2일째 57.9±6cells,3일릴 없.3±죠ells, 4일째 49.0츠3cells, 5일째 39.4±Scells료 4, 3일째 뚜렷한 신경세포 수의 감소를 보였다. 신경세포사 기전 규명을 위한 아폼토시스 분걱에서는 벼PTP 투여 후 1, 2, 3, 4, 5일째 조직을 채취하여 Hoechst staining, TUNEL staining을 수곡하였는데 양성 반응을 보인 신경세포는 관찰되지 않아. 아폼토시스로 인한 세포사가 관찰되지 않았다. bIPTP 파킨슨병 동물모델에서 nicotine 보호효과 탐색에 관한 실험은 nicat푸e 0.2mgAg을 5일 퐁안 투여 후 리『fP(30mgag)를 CS7Bt/6 마은스에 복강 내주사로 nicotine과 병용 투여한 후 1, 2, 3, 4, 5일째 뇌를 적출하땄다. 신경세포사가 뚜렷이 관찰되기 시작하는 4, 5일째의 신경세포 수의 감소 정도를 20. 30% 정도 약화시키는 경향을 보였으나, nicotine 보호효과에 대한 추가 실헝이 현재 수행 중에 있다. The cause of Parkinson's disease (PD) is largely unknown. However, free radical toxicit? may plaf a role ip. the degeneration of substantia nigra, which is the Hajorfocus of pathological damages in PD. Recently, a neuroprotective effect of nicotine in PD has been suggested. Therefore, the mechanism of neurodegenerafion and protective potential o( nicotine in PD were investigated in the experimental modeB of Pll using a neurotoxin, C57BL/6mice were administered with 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP, 30 mg/kg,j.p.). The degree of neurodegenerafion was determined by immunohistochemical stainiHB oftyrosine hydroxylase (TH). TH-positive cells on nigral sections were found 56.0 ±4, 57.9 ±6,52.315ce11s, 49.0±3cells, and 39,4±Scells at days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, respectively (controls : 57.6±Scells). Hoechst and TUNEL staining showed no evidence of apoptosis. The exandnation on themice co-adrunistered with nicotine(0.2mgAg) and MPTP(30mgag) revealed a tendency ofnicotine protective effects. At days 4 and 5, the degree of TH-positive cells was decreased by20-30%, In corclusiffn, the role of apoptosis was not evidenced in this MPTP modeB of PB.The possible proteccon by nicotine should be elucidated with further studies.

      • 질소시비수준 및 Ryegrass 유혼파가 겉뿌림 초지개량에 미치는 효과 : Ⅰ. 정착율, 식생구성율 및 건물수량에 관한 효과

        This experiment was carried out to determine the effect of improvement of oversown pastures, treated with four nitrogen(N) application levels(0, 100. 200. 300 kg/ha) and three species mixtures (A:orchardg-rass+ ladino clover: B: orchardgrass+ ladino clover+ perennial ryegrass; C: orchardgrass+ ladino clover+ perennial ryegrass+ Italian ryegrass). The establishment of perennial ryegrass, Italian ryegrass, and ladino clover were increased with inc-reased N applications. but the ryegrass mixed with orchardgrass and ladino clover decreased the establi-shment of ladino clover. With the increase of N application levels, orchardgrass, perennial ryegrass and Italian ryegrass in com-parison on botanical composition were getting better, while the native plants established already were de-creased. The botanical composition of newly sown pasture plants was increased as cutting times progres-sed. The dry matter(DM) yield of pasture species increased significantly with N application up to 300 kg/ha. There was no significance among mixture treatments, although the DM yield of basic treatment(0rchardg-rass + ladino clover) was higher than other treatments. However, when compared DM yields on each cut-ting times, newly oversown pastures in A treatment was shown to be significantly higher only on 2nd outting time than other treatrnents(P<0.05). The DM yield of native plants survived in basic species mix-ture was significantly less than those of other mixtures(P<0.05). Results of this study indicate that for improving oversown pastures, at least 300 kg/ha N application should be applied, and basic mixture (orchardgrass+ ladino clover) has more advantage than treatments mixed with ryegrass.
