Thermoelectric Semiconductors utilizing Peltier effect and Seebeck effect have been widely applied to thermoelectric cooling and thermoelectric power generation. Many researches have been done to improve the figure-of-merit of thermoelectric materials by solid solution alloying which could decrease the lattice thermal conductivity.. In this study, n-type (Bi2Te3)0.7(Sb2Te3)0.25(Sb2Se3)0.05 pseudo-ternary alloys were fabricated with addition of SbI3 and excess Te as donor dopants by melting/grinding and hot-pressing methods, and their thermoelectric properties were characterized. The Seebeck coefficient and the electrical resistivity of the (Bi2Te3)0.7(Sb2Te3)0.25(Sb2Se3)0.05 alloys decreased with increasing the SbI3 and excess Te addition due to the increase of electron concentration. The hot pressed (Bi2Te3)0.7 (Sb2Te3)0.25(Sb2Se3)0.05 alloy exhibited maximum figure of merit of 1.51×10-3/K and 1.71×10-3/K with doping of 0.025 wt% SbI3 and 0.3 wt% excess Te, respectively.

Since the concept of osseointegration was developed by Branemark, dental implant prosthesis are widely accepted by dental clinicians. There are two methods to treat edentulous patients by dental implant : One is an edentulous bone anchored fixed bridge and the other is an overdenture. The implant supported overdenture has several advantages. It is esthetically acceptable, easy to maintain good oral hygiene and more economic. Key factors that influence the success of osseointegration are quality of bone, integration between implant and bone, and loading condition. This study compared the diffrence in the stress patterns induced by variable bar design using photoelastic analysis. The results were as follows : 1. In the overdenture supported by two fixtures, three point loading on the bar showed more stress distribution than one point loading on the middle of the bar. 2. In the overdenture supported by the two fixtures, the more loading points went distally, the lager the stress became. 3. The stress distribution of the overdenture supported by four fixtures showed smaller than that of the overdenture supported by two fixtures.

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia(CLL) is a neoplastic disease characterized by the accumulation of small mature-appearing lymphocytes in the blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes, and spleen, resulting in enlargement of the lymph nodes and spleen, and decreased bone marrow function. CLL has an average incidence of 30 percent of all leukemia cases in Western countries, but it is extremely rare in Asia. T cell origin (T-CLL) is a very rare CLL subtype, as ninety five percent of CLL have B-cell markers. It has an aggressive clinical course. We have experienced a case of T4-CLL, which was confirmed by immunophenotyping panel. A 54-year-old male was admitted for abdominal distension which persisted for one month. A physical examination showed 5 finger sized splenomegaly and cervical lymphadenopathy on both side. The white blood cell count was 131,000/(L with 82% morphologically mature lymphcoytes with many smudge cells. A bone marrow aspirate revealed 61% lymphocytes morphologically similar to peripheral lymphocytes, which were small with a high nuclear cytoplasmic ratio and round to oval nuclei with absent or small inconspicuous nucleoli. The immunophenotyping study of lymphcoytes revealed phenotype of CD3(+), CD4(+), but CD8(-), CD19(-), CD20(-).

채원배는(1868~1940)는 중국 근대 교육의 선구자이다. 그는 정치, 철학, 문학, 미학등 여러 방면에 관심을 가지고 활약하였는데 그 중에서도 교육 방면에 대한 업적이나 활동이 가장 두드러진 것이라고 할 수 있다. 그의 생애는 한마디로 교육 계몽 운동, 교육 독립 및 교육 개혁을 위한 실천 운동으로 점철되었다고 할 수 있다.
