Fin-tube type(Fin-type) heat exchanger has been tested in order to replace the heat exchanger of parallel flow type(P.F-type) which is now widly used in automobile air conditioning system. The following conclusions are drawn by the comparison of the characteristics of the heat exchangers. Evaporator and condenser capacities and COP(Coefficience of performance) were varied as with the compressor speed, outdoor air temperature and air flow rate changed, which much influenced on the characteristics of the air conditioning system. Evaporator and condenser capacities were increased with increasing compressor speed and outdoor air temperature. Evaporator and condenser pressures of Fin- type were decreased by 7% and 5% respectively compared with those of P.F-type. The COP of Fin-type was decreased with increasing outdoor air temperature and compressor speed. The COP of P.F-type was decreased by 14% compared with that of Fin-type.

This study was surveyed to know utilization of the in graveyard the military and the police(MP), the catholic graveyard(CG) and graveyard of mausoleum(GM). The items of investigation were the ratio, kinds of flower, color of cut flower and form of offering a bunch of flowers. The time of investigation were New Year's day, Chusok(the korean thanksgiving day) and a weekday. On a week day, the ratio of offering a bunch of flowers was 6.3 perrcent in GM. CG and GM were 2 and 6 percent, respectively, On Chusok MP was 9 percent, CG was 25 percent and GM was 55.9 percent. On New Year's Day MP was 17.9 percent, CG was 43.3 percent and GM was 49.8 percent. Except for GM, when we compared the chusok with a week day, they were offered 12-24 times. Of the kinds of cut flower offered a bunch of flowers, chrysanthemum was 60 percent or more without regard to MP, CG and GM. About color of cut flower, white was 39.2 percent or more and yellow was 8.8 percent or more. Most of used colors were white and yellow. And they were 48 percent or more. That of on a week day was low remarkably. The form of offered flower on a graveyard were various: a flower, a basket of flower, a potflower, a flower in a case of glass, and a flower in a vase. 우렁쉥이 껍질에서 추출한 autoclave 추출구와 neutrase 추출구는 지방흡수력의 경우 대조시료인 chitin과 chitosan에 비해 떨어지는 대략 200~300% 정도이었으나, 포말성은 각각 0.70과 0.67로, 포말안정성은 0.50과 0.38로 우수하였다. Autoclave 추출구 및 neurase 추출구의 유화능은 각각 49.2%와 47.1%, 유화안정성의 경우 각각 48.3%와 44.8% 정도였으며, 특히 색소흡착능은 각각 85.2%와 85.6%로 대조시료에 비해 다소 우수하였다. 항혈액응고능은 모든 시료에서 APTT 저지효과는 나타났으나 PT값은 약 14.5초로 일정하여 혈액응고저지 효과가 거의 없었다. 특히 autoclave 처리구를 DEAE-cellulose ion exchange chromatography하여 얻은 F_4 (획분 4) 는 APTT가 75초로 가장 효과적이었으며, Sephadex G-100의 F_2가 70초 정도였다. ACE저해능은 모든 시료에서 ACE 저해효과가 있었으며, 채택된 실험방법에 따라 동일시료 경우에 있어서도 저해효과 값이 차이가 났으며, 특히 DEAE-cellulose 이온교환 처리한 F_4 (획분 4)가 35.75로 가장 효과적이었다. The present study was conducted to elucidate functional properties of sulfated polysaccharides from ascidian tunics. In physical properties of the crude polysaccharides, emulsion ability and foaminess were more excellent compared with chitin and chitosan, particular dye binding capacity was prominent. Anti-blood coagulation of partially purified sulfated polysaccharides showed with respect to APTT (Activated partial thromboplastin time). Especially, active fraction (F_4) obtained by DEAE-cellulose ion exchange chromatography showed highest activity, which was approximately 20% of the activity of heparin. ACE inhibitory activity also similar to anticoagulant activity. Active fraction (F_4) obtained by DEAE-cellulose ion exchange chromatography showed about 34%, in ACE inhibitory activity.

우렁쉥이 껍질에서 분리한 황산다당을 부분정제하여 몇가지 화학조성과 전기영동을 하였다. 추출된 황산다당의 화학적 조성은 sulfate, uronic acid, protein, chondroitin sulfate, amino sugar, hexosamine 등으로 이루어져 있었다. 전기영동결과 autoclave 처리에 의해 추출된 조다당류는 폭넓은 단일 band를 나타내었으나, neutrase 처리구는 세 개의 band로 구분되었다. Autocalve 처리구의 분자량은 약 40,000 정도로 추정되며, neutrase 처리구의 경우 고분자 band는 100,000 이상, 두 개의 저분자 band 중 하나는 약 22,000 정도, 또 하나의 band는 약 5,000 정도인 것으로 추정되었다. 이온교환수지 및 겔 여과하여 얻은 전당획분의 화학적 조성은 부분정제 전과 거의 유사하였다. Sephadex G-25로 gel 여과한 시료의 조성당은 arabinose, xylose 및 glucose는 흔적량 정도이었으나 galactose는 71.4%로 대부분을 차지하였고, N-acetylgalactosamine 함량이 14.5% 정도이었고, D-glucuronic acid가 6.3% 정도 검출되었다. Sephadex G-100과 G-100-25로 정제한 당의 전기영동 패턴은 거의 유사하게 단일 band의 양상이나 G-25 처리구가 다소 좁은 band를 나타내었다. 부분정제한 황산다당과 표준품인 chondroitin sulfates의 Ff-IR spectrometer 분석 결과, 거의 유사한 결과를 나타내었다. 황산기나 에스테르 등 몇몇 중요한 원자단의 신축 진동수가 IR spectrum의 지문영역 (1,500∼700㎝^(-1)에서 나타났다. 황산기 중의 S=O 신축진동이 1,240 ㎝^(-1)에서, C-O-S 신축진동의 경우 수평향배는 820 ㎝^(-1)에서 나타났다. Components of polysaccharides isolated from ascidian tunic were measuerd by gel filtration, electrophoresis and chemical analyses. The sulfated polysaccharides consisted in sulfate, protein, uronic acid and amino sugars. Hexosamines were composed of arabinose, xylose, glucose, galactose, glucuronic acid, N-acetylgalactosamine and N-acetylglucosamine by gas chromatography analysis. The galactose was predominant hexose after autoclave and nutrase digestion followed by DEAE-cellulose ion exchange chromatography and gel-permeation chromatography on Sephadex G-100 and G-25. FT-IR spectra of isolated polysaccharides from ascidian tunic and standard chondroitin sulfates have similar functional groups of the type of vibration and frequency. Molecular weight of isolated polysaccharides by autoclave represented more than 40 kDa by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. But the neutrase treatment group divided into three band. The highest molecular band group was shown more than 100 kDa, and the two low molecular baud group were shown about 22 kDa and 5 kDa, respectively, compare to standard materials.
Neurolymphomatosis on F-18 FDG PET/CT and MRI Findings: A Case Report

Neurolymphomatosis is a rare manifestation of malignant lymphoma. A 74-year-old man, in complete remission from diffuse large B cell lymphoma, presented with a loss of pain and temperature sensation in the left hemiface and left upper extremity, and motor weakness in the left upper and both lower extremities. Cerebrospinal fluid analysis and brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings were negative. Combined fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG-PET/CT) revealed multiple linear hypermetabolic lesions along the mandibular branch of the left trigeminal nerve, left brachial plexus, right axillary nerve, right suprarenal plexus, right adrenal gland, right femoral nerve, and both sciatic nerves, which corresponded to the patient's complex neurologic symptoms. C-spine and pelvic MRI revealed diffuse thickening with enhancement in the left brachial plexus and in the proximal portion of the left sciatic nerve, but negative findings for other sites identified by FDG-PET/CT. These findings suggest that FDG-PET/CTcan detect peripheral nerve infiltration by malignant lymphoma earlier than MRI. Thus, if a patient with a history of lymphoma presents with neurologic symptoms, FDG-PET/CT should be performed to evaluate neurolymphomatosis.

Background/Aims: The combination of daclatasvir (DCV) and asunaprevir (ASV) has demonstrated a high sustained virologic response at 12 weeks (SVR12) and a low rate of adverse events in previous clinical studies. The purpose of this study was to clarify the results of treatment and side effects in Korean patients with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype Ib infection. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical data from chronic HCV genotype Ib patients treated with DCV+ASV from August 2015 to September 2016 at five hospitals in the Daejeon-Chungcheong area. Results: A total of 152 patients were examined for resistance associated variants (RAVs). Among them, 15 (9.9%) were positive for Y93 and one (0.7%) was positive for L31. Of 126 patients treated with DCV+ASV, 83 patients completed treatment and 76 patients were included in safety and efficacy analysis. Five (6.6%) were positive for Y93 and 12 (15.8%) exhibited cirrhotic change. DCV+ASV was the first-line treatment for 58 (76.3%) patients. Eleven (14.5%) patients relapsed after previous treatment that included interferon and seven (9.2%) of these patients were found to be intolerant of interferon. Adverse events occurred in 10 (13.2%) patients and two patients stopped the medication because of severe itching and skin rash. SVR12 was 89.5% (68/76) in all patients and 91.5% (65/71) in RAV-negative patients. Conclusions: DCV+ASV showed good efficacy in patients with HCV Ib infection in Korea. Close monitoring is needed for severe adverse events and treatment failure, which were uncommon. (Clin Mol Hepatol 2017;23:51-56)
