      • Arsenazo I-XAD-2 킬레이트수지를 이용한 U(VI) 이온의 분리 및 농축에 관한 연구

        Aresenazo I-XAD-2 킬레이수지를 합성하고 이 수지에 대한 U(VI)이온의 흡착 거동을 조사 검토하였다. 킬레이트수지는 Arsenazo I 킬레이트제와 Amberlite XAD-2의 디아조늄짝지움 반응에 의해서 합성하였으며 원소 분석법과 적외선 분광법으로 확인하였다. U(VI)이온흡착의 최적 조건을 찾기 위해서 pH, U(VI) 이온농도와 진탕 시간에 관해서 조사하였다. U(VI)이온에 대한 킬레이트수지의 전체 흡착능은 pH 4.0∼4.5 범위에서 0.39mmol U(VI)/g resin이었고, pH값이 증가함에 따라 흡착능이 증가하였다. Arsenazo I-XAD-2 킬레이트 수지에 대한 U(VI)이온의 흡착 메카니즘은 U(VI)이온과 H+ 이온 사이의 경쟁반응임을 확인하였다. 컬럼법으로 구한 U(VI) 이온의 돌파점 부피와 전체 흡착능은 각각 600ml, 0.38mmol U(VI)/g resin 이었다. 3M HNO₃와 3m Na₂CO₃의 탈착용액을 사용하여 구한 회수율은 90∼96%였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 합성한 Arsenaso I-XAD-2 킬레이트수지는 자연수 바닷물 중에 함유된 U(VI)이온의 분리와 농축에 매우 유용함을 알았다. Some sorption behaviors of U(VI) ion on Arsenazo I-XAD-2 chelating resin were investigated. This chelating resin was synthesized by the diazonium coupling of Amberlite XAD-2 resin with Arsenazo I chelating reagent and characterized by elementary analysis method and IR spectrometry. The optimum conditions for the sorption of U(VI) ion were examined with respect to pH, U(VI) ion concentration and shaking time. Total sorption capacity of this chelating resin on U(VI) ion was 0.39 mmol U(VI)/g resin in the pH range of 4.0∼4.5. This chelating resin was showed increased sorption capacity on the increased pH value. It was confirmed that sorption mechanism of U(VI) ion on the Arsenazo I-XAD-2 chelating resin was competition reaction between U(VI) ion and H+ ion. Breakthrough volume and overall capacity of U(VI) ion measured by column were was 600ml and 0.38 mmol U(VI)/g resin, respectively. The desorption of U(VI) ion was showed recovery of 90∼96% using 3M HNO₃and 3M Na₂CO₃as a desorption solution. The separation and concentration of U(VI) ion from natural water and sea water was performed successfully by Arsenazo I-XAD-2 chelating resin.

        Effect of Preoperative Bisphosphonate Treatment on Fracture Healing after Internal Fixation Treatment of Intertrochanteric Femoral Fractures

        Purpose: There are concerns that administration of bisphosphonate (BP) can substantially suppress bone turnover, potentially interfering with fracture healing. We investigated the effects of preoperative BP administration before internal fixation of intertrochanteric femoral fractures using fracture healing and clinical outcomes. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively analyzed data from 130 patients who underwent internal fixation for osteoporotic intertrochanteric femoral fractures between March 2012 and July 2016. Patients previously treated with BPs for at least 3 months (BP group; n=29) were compared with the remaining patients (BP-naïve group; n=101). Radiographs were used to assess and compare fracture healing 3 months and 1 year postsurgery. The primary clinical outcome measure assessed was change in Koval score. Results: Fracture union at 3 months after surgery was verified in 72.4% of patients (21/29) in the BP group and 90.1% of patients (91/101) in the BP-naïve group (P=0.027). Fracture union at 1 year postsurgery (BP group, 93.1% [27/29] vs. BP-naïve group, 97.0% [98/101], P=0.310) and change in Koval score (1.1 vs. 1.0, P=0.694) were not significantly different between the groups. Multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed that a history of BP administration was associated with an increased risk of delayed union at 3 months postsurgery (P=0.014). Conclusion: Preoperative administration of BP was associated with a decreased fracture healing rate 3 months after internal fixation, compared with BP-naïve patients. Therefore, patients previously treated with a BP should be carefully allowed to wean off walking aids and transition to full weight-bearing in the early postoperative period.

      • 저농도 TPA^+하에서 silicalite의 결정화에 미치는 주요 인자에 대한 체계적인 연구

        A systematic study using the 23 factorial method was performed to identify the synthesis mechanisms of the pentasil zeolite, silicalite at low TPA content and thus provide fundamental informations. The use of organic sources, typically tetrapropylammonium-bromide or -hydroxide(TPABr/TPAOH) as a structure directing agent has been a long time barrier in the synthesis of pentasil zeolite, ZSM-5/silicalite since their discoveries due to their toxicities, costs and difficulties to handle. In addition, they cause the contamination of water and blocking of intracrystalline pore by carbon deposit due to incomplete thermal decomposition. In order to overcome these significant problems, the synthesis of ZSM-5/silicalite has been focused on the elimination of organic species. In this research program, as the first stage, a low TPA concentration was used. At this stage, Na2O was realized to be the most important species to enhance the average crystal size and the crystallinity.

        Congenital sensory neuropathy with anhidrosis(CSNA) is a well-defined entity among a group of sensory deficiency syndromes. The primary clinical features of CSNA are congenital analgesia, which leads to self-mutilation and painless fracture; inability to sweat, which leads to defective thermoregulation; and, finally, mental retardation. Here, we report a case of typical CSNA in 8-month-old male who had unexplained high fever without sweating, self-mutilating his tongue and of his fingers, and mental retardation and was diagnosed by skin biopsy, histamine challange test, and iodine-starch test.

      • 금속-도재 수복물에서 비귀금속 합금의 재사용에 따른 결합강도에 관한 연구

        치과용 비귀금속 합금 중 Verabond와 RecilliumⅢ,Ⅴ를 사용하여, 새 금속만 사용한 group(Ver-1, Rex3-1, Rex5-1)과 재사용한 group(Ver-2, Rex3-2, Rex5-2)의 경도측정을 한 결과 새금속만을 사용한 group에서는 Ver-1이 경도측정치가 가장 높았으며, 재사용한 group에서는 Rex5-2가 가장 높은 경도 측정치를 나타내었고 Rex3에서는 Rex3-1과 Rex3-2간의 경도 차이는 없었다. Verabond와 RexolloumⅢ,Ⅴ를 사용한 것과, 새 금속만을 사용하여 Vita Omega Porcelain을 올려서 소성하고, 금속과 도재간의 결합강도를 측정 한 것과, 한번 주조된 비귀금속 합금에 50%의 새로운 합금을 사용하여 Vita Omega Porcelain을 올려서 소성하고, 금속과 도재간의 결합강도를 측정한 결과 재 사용한 금속 중 Rex5-1이 금속과 도재간의 결합강도가 가장 좋은 것으로 나타났고, 주조된 합금에 새 금속 50%를 섞은 group에서는 Rex5-2가 결함강도가 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 Ver-1과 Ver-2는 금속과 도재간의 결합강도는 큰 차이점이 없는 것으로 보인다. The hardness of non-precious dental alloy was measured using Verabond and Rexillium Ⅲ,Ⅴ, The dental alloy was group into a new alloy group (Ver-1, Rex5-1) and used alloy (Ver-2, Rex5-2). As a result, Ver-1 showed the highest hardness value in a new alloy group. and Rex5-2 showed the highest hardness value in a used alloy group. However, Rex3-1 and Rex3-2 did not show any difference in hardness. The bonding strength between alloys used Verabond and Rexillium Ⅲ,Ⅴ was tested; The bonding strength between porcelain and a new alloy, which was firing after build up weth Vita Omega porcelain; was tested; Also, the bonding strength between porcelain and metal, which was casted and firing after build up with vita Omega pocelain was tested. I this case, the casted alloy was mixed with a new alloy by hay in weight. As a result, Rex5-1 yielded the highest strength among the used alloy group. Rex5-2 was the lowest in bonding strength among the alloy mixed with casted alloy and a new alloy by hay in weight. On the other hand, Ver-1 and Ver-2 did not show apparent difference in bounding strength.

        TWO GENERALIZATIONS OF LCM-STABLE EXTENSIONS

        Let $R{\subseteq}T$ be an extension of integral domains, X be an indeterminate over T, and R[X] and T[X] be polynomial rings. Then $R{\subseteq}T$ is said to be LCM-stable if $(aR{\cap}bR)T=aT{\cap}bT$ for all $0{\neq}a,b{\in}R$. Let $w_A$ be the so-called $w$-operation on an integral domain A. In this paper, we introduce the notions of $w(e)$- and $w$-LCM-stable extensions: (i) $R{\subseteq}T$ is $w(e)$-LCM-stable if $((aR{\cap}bR)T)_{w_T}=aT{\cap}bT$ for all $0{\neq}a,b{\in}R$ and (ii) $R{\subseteq}T$ is $w$-LCM-stable if $((aR{\cap}bR)T)_{w_R}=(aT{\cap}bT)_{w_R}$ for all $0{\neq}a,b{\in}R$. We prove that LCM-stable extensions are both $w(e)$-LCM-stable and $w$-LCM-stable. We also generalize some results on LCM-stable extensions. Among other things, we show that if R is a Krull domain (resp., $P{\upsilon}MD$), then $R{\subseteq}T$ is $w(e)$-LCM-stable (resp., $w$-LCM-stable) if and only if $R[X]{\subseteq}T[X]$ is $w(e)$-LCM-stable (resp., $w$-LCM-stable).
