This study try to research the two novels of the writer O, Jeong-Hee. These novels are 「Empty Field」 and 「Night Party」. In these novels, everyday life involves various problems. It means a kind of decomposition, insecurity, even death. The housewives as a main character perform a good roll given to them. But, they always feel a certain desire. That is a subject boiling up in their dark inside. So, they are being a existence as a vacuum that have a dream never come true. Because of that disequilibrium which is between everyday life and dark inside, the characters of the two novels can not obtain themselves as a pure and perfect oneself. This means not that they are not able to adapt themselves to the Symbolic world, but that the Symbolic identity does not represent themselves fully. They have a empty space in their mind. this is the reason why. As a stranger in the dark inside which is appearing frequently erodes their coherence and self control, the characters of the two novels are being a existence of decentration. In case oh 「Empty Field」, `she` feels an attraction to `him`, and in case of 「Night Party」, `she` feels an attraction to `a giant reptiles`. But they are trying to control a distance to the creepy but attractive objects. `He` and `a giant reptiles` are prominent shapes which connote a another oneself of the characters. So, the readers realize that `I`m a someone who is not me`. The two novels of the writer O, Jeong-Hee show a paradox of desire that mean the original, surplus power support a symbolic society. The negative power inside is not a suppressed power of life has to released. On the contrary, it has a certain power which the characters do not make resistance. decentration become to be expose to extreme danger as close as they can, but the dark power turn into a power of life. That is paradox. The writer O, Jeong-Hee`s novels mostly show a hazardous meeting with cloudy and mysterious desire. But, on the other side, Those novels make a reader remind the statement `Living safely is more dangerous` that Nietzsche said.

This study try to research that the characters of the novel 『the Fire on the River』 are the Subject of a desire. The novels of the writer O, Jeong-Hee always expresses the desires which cannot be true in the real world. But the characters of the novel never give up their over-desire. Because of that, her novels don`t show a normal, a common sense sometimes. The writer O introduces a certain discussion that implies a view of others. In that context, her novels got trouble to give a consistent meaning. That mean a lack of narrative in her text. Because of that, she introduces poetical expression. The characters of the novel are the subject of a desire, as mentioned before. They miss something to desire. But they never reach the goals. They are a kind of `Splitted Subject`. They ask `Who I am`, `What I want` to themselves always. So, they are expressed as a being in front of the Window of Fantasy. The Window of Fantasy means a bother between the Symbolic and the Real. The characters are a Splitted Subject in the bother. In that meaning, we can call O`s novels as a symptom of realism which orient a unification and order. The creative writing of O is `a Writing in the Bother`. Writing in the Bother has a trouble to express storyline normally. The writer O overcomes it`s limitation with poetical expression. The Writing in the Bother is good for showing some will and tension against a life which means vulgarity and emptiness.

본고에서는 김연수의 소설에 나타나는 `소통의 욕망`과 윤리적 행위로서의 `글쓰기`를 검토하였다. 김연수 소설의 소통의 욕망은 근본적으로 `이해할 수 없음`과 `소통할 수 없음`이라는 실존의 조건에서 벌어지는 실존적 성실성과 유관하다. 불가해한 세계에서 소통의 욕망은 불가능한 욕망이지만 포기되지 않는다는 점에서 라캉적 욕망의 역설적 순환운동을 따른다. 같은 맥락에서 작가의 글쓰기는 소통불가능의 세계에서 생겨나는 역설적인 소통의 욕망을 포기하지 않는 행위라는 점에서 정신분석학적 의미의 윤리적 행위가 된다. 윤리적 행위로서의 글쓰기는, 우연한 개인의 진실이나 상상이나 이해가 고스란히 살아 있는 생생한 삶의 이야기를 지향한다. 인과적 합리성이 가능한 모든 것을 의미 함으로써 어떤 특수한 것을 의미하지 않는다면, 생생한 삶의 이야기란 그런 인과적 합리성에 희생되는 우연한 삶의 사적 기록이다. 김연수의 소설에 의하면 그런 이야기가 세상에 존재하는 한, 개인의 삶은 서로 공명하고 모두 연결된다. 작가의 이런 자각적 글쓰기는 `소설은 합리적인 이성이나 과학적 논리로만 충분히 해명되지 못하는 예외적인 삶과 우연한 삶을 지탱할 수 있는 정서적이고 심리적인 이해와 공유를 제공한다`는 소설론에 조응한다. 소설은 인과적 언어 사이의 공백을 생생하게 살려서 이를 구체적인 삶으로 재현해준다. 독자는 미학적 이야기를 통해 재현된 삶을 되짚어 살게 되며 삶의 미세한 울림에 감각적으로 공명하게 된다. 그런 모든 이야기에는 삶이 있으며 모든 삶에는 이야기가 존재한다. 김연수의 소설은 이와 같은 소설론에 자각적으로 반응한다. 또한 그에게 있어서 글쓰기란 불가해한 세계 속에서 번번이 좌절하고 그래서 고통스럽고 외롭지만, 그렇더라도 소통의 욕망을 포기하지 않는 것이다. 그런 의미에서 김연수의 글쓰기는 `이야기(삶)의 소통`을 위한 `소통의 이야기(삶)`라고 말할 수 있다. This study tries to look into `a writing` as a ethical behavior on Kim, Yeon-su`s novel. Especially, the point, such a ethical behavior connect with `a desire for communication`, is in focus. Basically, a desire for communication is concerned with existential sincerity that happened in non mutual understanding reality in his novel. So, this desire for communication in the non communication world seems like a impossible desire, but the desire is not forgiven. This ceaseless trying for communication is alike to paradoxical circle of Lacan`s desire. And consequently, his wirting as a forgiveness for communication becomes a ethical behavior in the meaning of psychoanalysis. The writing as a ethical behavior heads for the story described vividly. There are the imagination and understanding of the accident individual in the story. The cause and effect and rationality is meaning all points as possible, with this not meaning certain a peculiarity. On the contrary the story of vivid live is an individual record, sacrificed by an official record. His novel insists that individual life cause resonance and connection mutually, as long as vivid story is existent. Such the author`s writing psychological and emotional understanding especial and accident life which human is minunderstanding by rational reason and scientific logic. The novel fills the blank of logical language and reappears the concrete life vividly. The reader sympathy an echo of concrete life sensually in accordance with the esthetic story witch is reappeared. So that, there are the life in the all narrative and there the narrative in the all live. The Kim, Yeon-su`s novel responds to a novel theory of this sort consciously. On that point the writing of author is the narrative of communication for the communication of narrative(life).

This study tries to look into the potentialities as a ecological literature on Kim Yeon-Soo`s Novel. Especially, His two novels, 「Newyork confectioner`s shop」, 「When I go to the rigida-pine tries」bear the brunt of an criticism. If we can say that a ecological literature pursue a value which is lost in this ecological crisis, his two novels should be discussed within a category of ecological literature. A effective value of literature gets some elements like internalization of morality as well as joy of feeling. In the same meaning, A ecological literature pursues an alteration of existing perception as well as internalization of ecological value through the esthetical sense. His two novels warn the abnormal aspect of modern life, and awake `the nature`, `the remembrance` as a very important value that should be recovered. The two novels seem to be produced, as a potentialities, on the based of the ecological literature. That is a kind of gole that has oriented on Kim Yeon-Soo`s novel. The potentialities as a ecological literary on Kim Yeon-Soo`s novel bears relation to his novel`s sensitive reflection toward the contemporary individual and the individual existence. They have not certain meaning and value in their life, and they are seized with feeling of isolation. The feeling of isolation turns the individual into the broken existence. Therefore, the important thing is the possibility to communication and solidarity of them. The author seems to have taken great pains over the work in order that he may contact with the real of life and try to relate to the other and seek to the trout of life has been disappeared in the discourse, under the existent condition of contemporary. This is the concentration toward subjective sense and standardization of sense. The desire for communication and connection is a desire that he pursues through his work. It is the spirits and mind of ecological literature that endeavor to grow the extensive self-consciousness rising over the broken and the isolated individualism. Conclusionally the author`s literary spirit is relation to the spirit of ecological literature.
미국 내 한국인 유학생들의 건강신념, 사회적 지지 및 건강증진행위

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the development of a health care program to maintain and promote the health of Korean international students. Methods: Participants were 180 Korean students studying at one US state university. Data collection was conducted from January 23 to April 23, 2017. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics: t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: The mean score on health beliefs was $3.49{\pm}0.39$, and the mean social support score was $2.96{\pm}0.54$. The mean health-promoting behavior score was $2.80{\pm}0.37$. Health-promoting behaviors had a statistically significant positive correlation with health beliefs and social support. Additionally, perceived health status, perceived barriers, perceived benefits, cues to action, and social support were related to health-promoting behaviors among Korean students. These five variables explained 47.6% of health-promoting behavior. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that higher health beliefs and social support of Korean international students resulted in better health-promoting behaviors. Additionally, the findings suggested that the health of Korean international students could be maintained and promoted through the development of systematic and practical programs to secure social support.
가미보아탕(加味補兒湯)의 면역조절작용(免疫調節作用)에 대(對)한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Kami boatang(KBT) on the immune cells in Balb/c mice. KBT (500mg/kg) was administerd p.o. once a day for 7 days. KBT enhanced the proliferation of thymocytes and splenocytes. KBT enhanced the subpopulation of helper T(Th) cells, but did not affect the subpopulation of Thyl/B220 cells and Th/Tc cells in splenocytes. KBT enhanced the production of ${\gamma}$-interferon and interleukin-2 in thymocytes, but decreased the production of interleukin-4. KBT enhanced the production of ${\gamma}$-interferon, interleukin-2 and interleukin-4 in splenocytes and serum. KBT suppressed the production of nitric oxide, and enhanced the phagocytic activity in peritoneal macrophages. These results suggest that KBT has a potent activity on the immune response via the increase of the production of cytokines and phagocytic activity in vivo.

This study was carried out to prove the effects of GMBT on the proliferation of splenic lymphocyte, active change of macrophage, T cell and B cell in continuous medication GMBT. The result were obtained as follows : 1. GMBT promote proliferation of splenic lymphocyte in vitro. 2. GMBT pretreated group was showed higher immune response than control group. 3. GMBT was not a rising effect in Con A but a rising effect in PHA. 4. GMBT treated group had highly producted more than 70% NO quality compared with control group. 5. GMBT was twice effect compared with control group in antibody production capacity of SRBC but meaningless m that of Anti-HBs Titer.
기억의 개인 원리와 소통의 가능성 -김연수 소설의 기억술을 중심으로-

이 논문의 목적은 김연수 소설을 대상으로 하여 기억매체를 통한 ``기억하기``를 살펴보고 그것이 소통적 기억과 소통적 진실로 구성되는 양상을 검토하는 것이다. 소통의 문제가 서사의 중심이 되는 그의 소설에는 농담과 진담, 거짓과 진실, 가짜와 진짜, 우연과 필연, 소통과 불소통, 전체와 개인, 기억과 망각 등의 반대짝들이 위성처럼 산포해 있다. 이 반대항들은 뫼비우스의 띠처럼 연결되어 서로 모순되면서 존재이유가 되고 서로 넘나들면서 보완한다. 그렇게 구성되는 세계는 하나의 거대한 뫼비우스 띠이고 그 안에는 혼란스러운 내면에 질서를 부여하고 자신과 세계 사이의 관계를 파악하고자 하는 고립된 개인들이 있다. 고립된 개인은 역사담론으로 대변되는 집단적 주체의 기억에 더 이상 상상적으로 동일시하길 거부하는 자유로운 개인의 등장과 관련이 있다. 이는 또한 자유롭지만 집단적 꿈꾸기가 불가능해진 개인의 불안과도 관련이 있다. 이런 마당에, 작가 자신도 밝혔지만, 견고한 객관적 현실이 사라져버린 자리에서 부상하는 개인성과 개인감각은, 김연수 소설이 시작하는 지점이 된다. 그리고 ``개인의 기억``에 의한 공감능력과 소통능력은 그의 소설이 지향하는 바이다. 이는 김연수 소설이 자기 시대에 대해 가지는 문학적 자의식이며 자기 시대를 향한 문학적 표명에 포함된다. 현대의 사회 상태에서 공동체가 정체성을 결정짓고 정의내리는 힘이 아니라 그저 일시적인 가공품에 불과한 것이 되었다면, 그래서 결합의 원리를 개인 안에서 찾아야 한다면, 김연수 소설은 사회적 관계가 미약해지고 견고한 세계가 붕괴된 ``이후의 삶들``을 연결시키는 소통의 도구를 찾고자 한다. 그것은 ``개인적인 것``을 ``개인적인 방식``으로 연결하는 것이다. 개인의 기억 혹은 서사적 기억은 김연수 소설이 자기 시대에 말을 거는 방식이다. The goal of this paper is to examine remembering by the medium of memory in the Kim, Yeon Soo`s novel, and then to examine the aspect that the truth to communicate is composed of memory to communicate. The problem of communication is the narrative center in his novel, there are false and truth, accident and consequential, fake and real, joking and serious, communicate and not-communicate, society and individual, memory and forgetting to been scattered such as satellites. These binary opposition are connected and are contracted each other like Moebius strip, and then these opposition are reason to be complementary to each other. So the novel world is the huge Moebius strip, and there are isolated individual who try to seek order for confused inside and to grasp the relation between oneself and the world. Isolated individuals are associated with free individual, who no longer refuse to identify with collective subject`s memory. Isolated individuals are associated with uneasy individual, who was born in the society to been impossible to dream collectively. In this context, although the author say, in place a robust objective reality disappeared, personality and personal feelings are the point that the Kim, Yeon Soo`s novel begins. And abilities of sympathy arises in a person`s memory, it is the author`s intention in one`s novel. The status of present age is the time that a community is not power to identify but temporary manufactured good, and we find the principle of combining from the individual, then the Kim, Yeon Soo`s novel seeks to communicate and to connect between the private and the world. Individual interlock in a way that personal, that is the way of Kim, Yeon Soo`s novel. In other words, the personal memory or the narrative memory are the way that the author`s novel hands over to talk to the one`s age.
에코페미니즘 시각으로 본 윤이형 소설의 타자에 대한 질문 -단편소설 「굿바이」, 「수아」를 대상으로

Yoon Yi-hyeongs short stories “Goodbye” and “Suah” are works that ask questions about what humans are and how they exist in the network of interdependent relationships between technohumans and human species. This study judged these novels to be texts that open up many possibilities for approaching them from the perspective of ecofeminism, and examined these novels specifically from the perspective of the ethics of relationships with others. Yoon Yi-hyeongs cyborg novel focuses on the problem of the possibility of homogenization of hyper-connected egos and the othering of technohumans. Whats especially interesting about his novels is that they reflect on these issues through real-life experiences using the imagination of science fiction. The boundary between science fiction and social reality is nothing more than an illusion, and rather, as a hybrid of machines and organisms, the cyborg metaphor raises the contemporary problem of connections that cross species boundaries. These two facts are closely intertwined with the ecofeminist ethics that embrace the meaning of strangers and otherized voices and seek to dismantle narratives of exclusion and hierarchy. The overall narrative structure of “Goodbye”, which juxtaposes the “new world” of the machine man Spidey and the “old world” of you, the human, is read as a key strategy. The conflict between the two worlds strengthens the mutual otherness of the machine-converted human and the original human, grows into the incomprehensibility of the two worlds, and leaps to the certainty of life in the final part. In fact, it is an illogical narrative development, but it can be regarded as a narrative form that corresponds to the meaning that incomprehensibility is not understood rationally but at the level of spirituality that is accepted despite fear. Another novel, “Suah,” is a novel that raises serious questions about what humans are through the confrontation between humans and robots, and what kind of beings humans are in a world where humans and robots coexist. It shows a place for imaginary experiments that urge the redefinition of humanity through the arrogance and anxiety of anthropocentrism, and the ending of “Suah” lies in humans, as arrogant witnesses, recognizing their own otherness through unfamiliar gaze. The machine people and robots in the two novels, “Goodbye” and “Suah,” metaphorically represent the more heterogeneous and intense otherness that we can encounter or imagine in the era of dominance of information technology. It can be said to be a cyborg metaphor as an other in the technological age that makes us think about ‘being able to be with one another,’ and here we can confirm the SF sense of Yoon Yi-hyeong’s novel.
