SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) is a equipment that acquire ground image scene using radar signal. After launch, it is only possible to check SAR Payload health status based on telemetry data transmitted to ground station. In the previous systems, only dedicated telemetries with corse resolution are transmitted because of insufficient memory size and link access time. In this paper, we propose novel algorithm of the SAR telemetry reduction based on trend analysis. We analyze acquired telemetry value trend and make a structure based on this information. Our algorithm makes over 50% data size reduction result based on SAR telemetry data in nominal operation of dawn-dusk low earth orbit. Reduction data has advantage to store size and data transmission time and ground station an restore and check whole acquired telemetry data.

회화적 렌더링에서 스트로크의 방향은 객체의 형태를 나타내는데 중요한 요소가 된다. 본 연구에서는 스트로크의 방향을 결정하기 위해 사용할 모션 정보 추출방법을 제안하고자 한다. 우리는 동영상 이미지로부터 모션의 방향, 크기 정보를 추출하고 이것을 기존의 그래디어트 정보와 통합한다. 통합된 최종 모션 정보는 객체의 사실적인 흐름을 표현가능하며 보는 사람에게 대상의 움직임을 효과적으로 인지할 수 있도록 하는 장점을 가진다.

로쉬아 몬타너의 금광 개발 문제와 루마니아의 자연친화적 심성의 연관성

The purpose of this whole text is not only to analyze on problems related with Roşia Montană Gold Mine Project, in the political or economical view, but also to discern attitude of Romanians who prefer veritable value of the Mother Nature than ephemeral economical figures. Romania is estimated as one of the poorest country in Europe by many economists whose subject of the survey is only financial conditions, but on the contrary, Romania is one of the richest country in the world, in terms of the harmony of a human being and nature. Romania enjoys fantastic land forms called "The Mioritic Space", which is impressive by the sudden transition from wilderness of the Carpathian Mountains to smooth undulating landscapes of Transylvania. Almost virgin forests unexplored by man, along with agriculture traditionally practiced, made the wild animals and plants to survive there in larger numbers, than any other part of the world. In the Carpathian, Apuseni, Bihor Mountains, there are incalculable forestry resources and mineral resources including golds, coals, aluminum esc. Also, there are sufficient amount of oil and nature gas in many areas of Romania. But still Romania is classified in Low Developed Countries, just when we figure up accounts of Romanian financial statement of GNP or GDP in the view of capitalism. Even some people say ironic that "it's miracle that Romania remains a poor country". This mention is said because although Romania has good nature conditions for economical development, it remains a country with low economic esteem. This is due to lack of strong intention for developing their land, but this mental attitude of Romanians is not negative at all. I think the above-mentioned negative opinion about Romania is nothing but just our erroneous nearsighted view contaminated by materialism. Mountains, rivers and forest are just dear sources of the breath and places for aliments and recreation, not objects which could be torn up for ephemeral economic development, for the Romanian peasants who live harmonious with whole nature. Undoubtedly, nowaday, under the system of capitalism, it is very hard for Romanian peasants who want to live with traditional attitude, to keep their peaceful rural life in financial difficulties. Now Romania is in front of dilemma between conservation of environment and development of land. Roşia Montană Gold Mine Project is still withheld. Anyhow, inhabitants of Roşia Montană who suffer dire poverty and feel alienated, seem to have no hope but to sell with tears their green environment to foreign financier for relative pronounced money. However, they are in such a difficult situation, the greater part of inhabitants of Roşia Montană choose to keep their traditional attitude of life in peaceful nature. It is very difficult to understand mentality of Romanian peasants with materialism thinking. For us who have become slaves to the material values in complex societies, the traditional attitude of Romanian peasants based on thinking that god and nature and human being are in unity like one organism, gives us an opportunity of self-examination to contemplate what is our true value of life in the Cosmos. 본고에서 살펴볼 로쉬아 몬타너(Roşia Montană)는 15~16년간 최소 317톤의 금과 1,600톤의 은을 채굴할 수 있는 유럽최대의 노천금광 지역이다. 캐나다의 가브리엘 리소시스(Gabriel Resources)사와 루마니아 정부는 이 지역의 막대한 금광을 채굴하려는 사업 계획을 가지고 있었다. 그런데 현재 이 개발 사업은 환경문제 등의 이유로 전면 답보 상태에 놓여 있다. 개발을 원하는 가브리엘 리소시스사와 환경보존을 요구하는 로쉬아 몬타너 주민측이 서로 대립하는 상황이 오래 지속되고 있기 때문이다. 전 세계의 모든 노천 금광들은 아마도 루마니아의 로쉬아 몬타너와 같이 당장의 막대한 경제적 이득뿐 아니라 해결해야 할 환경 문제와 사회 문제도 함께 가지고 있을 것이다. 그러나 개발을 진행하는 데 있어서 로쉬아 몬타너의 사례처럼 주민과 환경단체 등의 격렬한 반대에 부딪혀 오랜 기간동안 개발 계획의 추진 자체가 답보 상태로 남아있는 경우는 거의 없을 것이다. 다른 나라들의 사례를 보면, 환경단체 등의 반대는 어느 정도 무시하고 개발을 일단 추진하고 보는 것이 대부분이다. 로쉬아 몬타너의 금광 개발이 답보 상태에 있는 원인을 찾기 위해서는 경제, 정치, 외교 등 복잡한 사회적 이해관계를 세밀하게 따져 보아야 하겠지만, 좀 더 근본적인 원인을 찾아보려면 자연을 형제처럼 소중히 여겨온 루마니아의 전통적 심성을 알아보는 것이 훨씬 중요하다. 금광에서 얻어질 당장의 이익에 연연하지 않고 경제적으로 고된 삶 속에서도 자연의 아름다움을 지켜내기 위해 노력하고 있는 루마니아인들의 태도는 오랜 역사 속에서 형성된 자연 친화적 심성에서 기인한다고 밖에 볼 수 없기 때문이다. 루마니아는 경제적으로는 후진국으로 평가 받고 있지만 유럽에서는 자연이 가장 잘 보존된 국가 중의 하나이다. 루마니아는 사실 가진 것이 많은 나라이다. 그림같이 어우러져 있는 숲과 언덕들은 농사를 짓거나 가축을 기르기에 덧없이 좋은 환경을 제공한다. 울창한 숲에는 가치를 따질 수 없는 산림 자원이 넘쳐난다. 석유나 천연가스 등의 지하자원도 풍부하다. 트란실바니아의 비호르(Bihor) 산맥, 카르파치(Carpaţi) 산맥, 아푸세니(Apuseni) 산맥 등에는 유럽 최대규모의 금이 묻혀있다. 그러나 현대 자본주의의 관점에서 GDP나 GNP만 따져보면 루마니아는 빈곤한 국가 중 하나로 분류된다. 루마니아 사람들은 자연을 한시적인 재화를 위해 파헤쳐지는 개발의 대상으로 보는 것이 아니라 맑은 공기와 휴식을 주는 곳으로 여기며 살아가기 때문이다. 물론 현대의 자본주의 경제 체제 하에서는 전통적인 자연 친화적 삶을 보존하려는 루마니아사람들도 더 이상 자연 속에서 느긋하게 살아 갈 수 있는 입장이 아닌 것이 사실이다. 가난에 시달리며 사회적으로 소외받던 로쉬아 몬타너의 대다수 주민들은 평생 만져 보지못할 거금을 쥐어주는 외국인에게 자신의 산과 강을 울면서 내어주는 것이 살아가는 마지막 희망일 수밖에 없는 안타까운 현실에 처해있다. 그 상황 속에서도 일부 주민들은 가난하지만 자유로웠던 기존의 삶의 방식을 고수하면서 녹색 환경을 포기하려 들지 않는다. 경제적 수치로만 모든 것을 환산하려는 물질주의적 사고로는 이해할 수 없는 일일 것이다. 하지만 자연을 형제처럼 대하는 루마니아의 전통적 심성은 삶의 가치를, 경제적 수치로 환산하고 계산하기보다는, 인간과 환경의 친밀도에서 찾으려 한다.

Epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma (EMC) is a low grade malignant neoplasm that commonly occurs in the parotid gland. Recently, we investigated a case of EMC that occurred in the external auditory canal (EAC) in a 35-year-old male, and this tumor was initially diagnosed as pleomorphic adenoma. The difficulty associated with diagnosing EMC by aspiration cytology arises from both the rare incidence of this tumor and the overlapping spectrum of cytological features found in various salivary gland tumors, such as pleomorphic adenoma, basal cell adenoma and adenoid cystic carcinoma.

초고압 전력 케이블 접속 시스템을 위한 접속재의 최적화 해석

본 논문은 초고압 전력케이블의 접속재 개발을 위한 연구결과로써, 접속시스템의 핵심기술인 고절연고무슬리브 및 현장에서 접속 작업의 용이성을 위한 Carrier Pipe의 구조해석과 전기적 절연설계에 의한 주요부의 전기적 특성과 전계의 집중을 완화하기 위해 Simulation Tool을 이용한 수치해석 등을실시하여 최적화된 제품을 제작하였다. 절연설계 및 전계완화 해석에서는 고절연 고무슬리브 구조에서전계가 집중될 수 있는 중요 포인트를 벡터로 선정하였고 이를 기초로 전계해석을 진행하여 선정된포인트들에서 전계가 집중됨을 검증하였다. 접속재의 수축거동 해석에 의하면, Carrier Pipe의 구조적안전성을 확보하기 위하여 고절연 고무슬리브로부터의 압력을 구하여 계산한 결과 최소한 9mm이상의Carrier Pipe 두께가 필요한 것으로 파악 되었다. 이것은 충분한 강도뿐만 아니라 Carrier Pipe의 변형발생으로 인한 현장에서의 설치문제까지 고려하게 된 값이다. 고절연 고무슬리브 제품설계 에서는 고절연 고무슬리브의 특성조건을 설정하였고 고절연 고무슬리브 제품 및 Carrier Pipe의 Interface 설계기준을 파악하기 위하여 기존의 고절연 고무슬리브를 활용하여 Carrier Pipe와의 장착 Test를 진행하였다. 그 결과, 확장비율 110%로 적용하였을 경우는 30시간 후에는 완전 붕괴가 되었고, 붕괴가 시작되는 지점이 고절연 고무슬리브의 중앙매립전극 경계면으로써, Simulation Tool을 활용한 접속재 수축거동 해석 결과와도 일치함을 검증 할 수 있었다.

즈부러토룰(Zburătorul ; 夢覽, 夜來者)과 관련된 신화와 문학에 대한 분석

성애의 감정은 인간의 이성으로 통제하지 못하는 경우가 많기 때문에 오래전부터 사람들은 성애의 감정에 초자연적인 힘이 관여하고 있을 것이라는 믿음을 가져왔다. 루마니아 민간전승에서도 이러한 믿음을 발견할 수 있으며 많은 문학 작품들 속에는 이런 저런 방식으로 인간의 성애에 개입하는 여러 초자연적인 존재들이 주인공으로 자주 등장한다. 그중 본 논문에서 다루게 될 즈부러토룰(Zburătorul)은 사춘기 소녀들에게 난생처음 성에 대한 갈망을 느끼도록 만드는 짓궂은 존재로, 즈부러토룰이 이상적인 남성의 모습으로 변신하여 사춘기 소녀의 성몽(性夢) 속에 들어가 성 관계를 맺고 사라지면 그 소녀는이성에 대한 그리움과 열망으로 심한 가슴앓이를 겪게 된다고 믿어지고 있다. 신화학자인 로물루스 불커네스쿠(Romulus Vulcănescu)에 의해 악령(daimon)으로 분류가 되긴 하지만, 즈부러토룰은 사람의 육신을 해치거나 사악한 마음을 품게 만드는 등의 부정적 활동을 하는 존재는 아니다. 사회 기능상의 측면에서 분석해 보면, 오히려 긍정적인 역할이 발견된다. 한 소녀가 생리적 사춘기를 보내며 즈부러토룰로 인하여 성애의 감정을 알게 되었고 성욕을 절제하는 고통을 느끼면서 사랑의 가슴앓이를 심하게 치렀다는 것은 이제 그녀는 어린 소녀가 아니라 성숙한 여성으로 거듭났다는 것을 의미한다. 남성을 아동적인 놀이의 동무가아니라성적결합(性的結合)의상대자로받아들일준비를해야할시기가왔다는것이다. 이는한소녀가 부모의 보호를 받는 어린이에서 아이를 낳고 가정을 돌봐야 할 성인 여성으로 성장했음을 알려주는 징후이며,개인적인 차원에 지나지 않았던 자기의 존재 가치와 위상이 사회적이고 국가적인 것으로 격상되었음을 의미한다. 동시에진정한사회의일원으로받아들여지게되었다는것을상징하기도한다. 그러므로즈부러토룰에의해 겪게되는가슴앓이는일종의무형적(無形的) 입사식(入社式; Ritual de Iniţiere ; Rite of Initiation)으로볼수 있으며 소녀에게 성애를 느끼게 만드는 즈부러토룰은 사악한 목적으로 소녀들을 괴롭히는 악귀가 아니라 입사 시험관이라 할 수 있다. 이 신비로운 존재에 관한 이야기는 제오르제 컬리네스쿠(George Călinescu)에 의해 루마니아의 4대 신화중하나로평가 받고있으며 , 미하이에미네스쿠(Mihai Eminescu)의시<컬린(이야기의단편들) Călin (file dinpoveste)>, <샛별 uceafărul>, 바실레알렉산드리(Vasile Alecsandri)의시<스부러토룰Sburătorul>, 이온헬리아데러둘레스쿠(Ion Heliade rădulescu)의시<스부러토룰Sburătorul> 등, 19세기루마니아낭만주의문학가들의여러 작품에 중요한 모티브를제공하였다. 그중 러둘레스쿠의 시 <스부러토룰>은 즈부러토룰을만나고 난 뒤 겪게 되는 한 소녀의 안타까운 가슴앓이를 가장 사실적이며 섬세하게 그려내고 있으며, 에미네스쿠의 시 <컬린 (이야기의 단편들)>은 즈부러토룰과 나눈 순수한 사랑의 이야기를 동화적으로 묘사하고 있다. In Romanian folklore and literature, we can meet many kinds of mysterious being which are intervene in human’s erotic sentiments. The most important one among them is called ‘Zburătorul’. It’s character is very similar with Eros in Greek mythology and Incubus in occidental tales. The ‘Zburător’ is a kind of dragon or serpent, he transforms himself into a very attractive man, then intrudes into dreams of girls at puberty to make love with them. There are a lots of romanian literary works inspired by this ‘Zburător’. One of the most important literary work related with ‘Zburătorul’ is ballad titled <Sburătorul> by Ion Heliade Rădulescu. In this ballad, writer described minutely pathetic mental agony of a little girl’s, named Florica, who is aware of her sexual feelings by ‘Zburătorul’. Mihai Eminescu also composed several poems motived by ‘Zburătorul’ like <Călin, file din poveste>, <Luceafărul> The majority of the romanian scholar says that ‘Zburătorul’ is a demon, a nightmare and an evil spirit. But this creature is not a completely negative being. We can not find any story in which ‘Zburătorul’ injures human’s body or he converts man into devil. On the contrary, when it tries to analyze mythical symbols from the side of social function, the affirmative role of Zburătorul’ is discovered. The fact that one young girl was known the erotic sentiment in the period of physiological adolescence as a result of aggression of ‘Zburătorul’ means that this girl recognizes the characteristic role as the woman and she goes to establish her identity as the woman. From that reason, the mental agony of girls caused by ‘Zburătorul’ could be considered as a formlessness rite of passage from girlhood to womanhood, that is ‘initiation of girls’.

상수 공정시간을 갖는 라인 생산 시스템에서 CONWIP과 간반의 성능 비교

We compared a CONWIP(constant work-in-process) system with a kanban system in a production line with constant processing times. Based on the observation that a WIP-controlled line production system such as CONWIP and kanban is equivalent to a m-node tandem queue with finite buffer, we applied a max-plus algebra based solution method for the tandem queue to evaluate the performance of two systems. Numerical examples with 6 workstations were used to demonstrate the proposed analysis. The numerical results support the previous studies that CONWIP outperforms kanban in terms of expected waiting time and WIP. Unlike the kanban case, sequencing workstations in a CONWIP does not affect the performance of the system.

상수 공정시간을 갖는 간반 라인 생산 시스템의 성능 평가

Kanban pull system uses card sets to tightly control work-in-process (WIP) between each pair of workstations. Total system WIP is limited to the summation of the number of cards in each card set Production occurs at a workstation only if raw material is available and the material has a card authorizing production. This paper showed that kanban-controlled line production system is equivalent to a m-node tandem queue with finite buffers. A max-plus algebra based solution method for the tandem queue was used to find the kanban system performance measures. A numerical example of kanban system with 6 workstations was used to demonstrate the analysis. Two optimization problems were solved: one that determines the minimum number of kanbans with given quality of service levels and one that determines the maximum throughput with given number of kanbans. We also analyzed how sequencing workstation affects the performance measures. The line production system where workstations arranged in decreasing order of their processing times was found to be the best configuration in terms of sojourn time and WIP level. Further studies on non-saturated demand case are needed.
