The author has tried to trace the concept on the aetiology of leprosy and the counter-measures to leprosy(treatment, isolation, registration) in the ages of Lee Dynasty, treating of materials showing symptoms equivalent to those of leprosy of modern medicine, obtained mainly from Wang-jo-Sil-Rok. (Actual Record of Lee Dynasty), Hyang-Yak-Jip-Sung-Bang (Collection of Home Produced Drugs). and Tong-Eui-Po-Kam (Treasury of Eastern Medicine). The author has come to the following conclusions (1) .They. attributed the aetiology of leprosy primarily to wind (ill-natured wind, connected wind) and secondarily to heavenly punishment and demonism. (2) They conceived the infection-of leprosy, but could not present the authority to back it up. (3) It may be conjectured that they intended to drive out demons, supposed aetiology of leprosy, from human body letting the lepers eat human flesh and organs to disgust them. (4) Their pharmaco therapy seems to have come to no purpose. It must have stayed within the limit of symptomatic treatment. (5) The collective housing of lepers (isolation) bears primary raison d etre in protecting lepers from the persecution and murder committed by the laymen who hate and fear them extremely. (6) They made survey and registration on the situations of lepers, but n o suitable counter-measure was initiated. (7) The isolation, the treatment, and the survey and registration of lepers must have played a role in controlling the diffusion of patients.

Two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdWs) materials are a class of new materials due to their unique physical properties. Of the many 2D vdWs materials, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is a representative n-type transition-metal dichalcogenide (TMD) semiconductor. Here, we report on a high-performance MoS2 nanosheet-based nonvolatile memory transistor with a poly(vinylidenefluoride-trifluoroethylene) (P(VDF-TrFE)) ferroelectric top gate insulator. In order to enhance the ohmic contact property, we use graphene flakes as source/drain electrodes prepared by using the direct imprinting method with an elastomer stamp. The MoS2 ferroelectric field-effect transistor (FeFET) shows the highest linear electron mobility value of 175 cm2/Vs with a high on/off current ratio of more than 107, and a very clear memory window of more than 15 V. The program and erase dynamics and the static retention properties are also well demonstrated.
가뭄저항성 GM벼(Agb0103) 종실 및 지상부의 영양성분 평가

고추 유래 유전자(CaMsrB2-23)를 도입하여 내건성을 갖도록 형질전환된 가뭄저항성벼(Agb0103)에 대한 식품안전성 평가를 위해 가뭄저항성벼 종실(현미)의 일반성분, 지방산, 아미노산, 무기질, 비타민 함량 등 영양성분과 항영양소를 분석하였다. 벼는 수원과 군위 2개 지역에서 2013년에 재배하였으며, 가뭄저항성벼와 일미벼 현미는 조단백질, 조지방, 조회분, 조섬유 등 일반성분 함량에 유의적인 차이가 없었으며 지방산 조성 및 아미노산 함량이 서로 유사하였다. Agb0103과 일미벼 현미의 무기질 함량은 Na 함량에서 차이가 있었으나 Na를 제외하고 모든 무기질 함량이 유사하였으며 OECD 기준 범위 내에 있었다. 대체적으로 수원에서 재배한 벼 현미의 무기질 함량이 약간 높게 나타나 재배지역간의 환경적 차이가 무기질의 함량에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 두 지역에서 재배한 Agb0103과 일미벼 현미의 비타민 함량은 유의적인 차이가 없었으나 비타민 B 함량이 OECD 자료 범위보다 낮게 나타났다. 가뭄저항성벼(Agb0103)의 사료용 평가를 위해 지상부(유숙기 잎줄기와 볏짚)에 대한 영양성분을 분석한 결과 조단백질, 조지방, 조회분, 조섬유, ADF, NDF, Ca, P의 함량에서 Agb0103과 모품종벼 간의 차이는 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 조사한 가뭄저항성벼(Agb0103)는 모품종 대비 종실의 주요 영양성분과 항영양소 뿐만 아니라 벼 지상부의 성분분석 비교 결과 실질적 동등성을 확인 할 수 있었다. Nutritional assessment is an important consideration in the safety evaluations of food and feed derived from genetically modified (GM) crops. In this study, key nutrients and anti-nutrients in rice grain of drought-tolerant transgenic rice(Agb0103) having a pepper methionine sulfoxide reductase B2 gene (CaMsrB2) were analyzed and compared with those from its non-transgenic parental rice (var “Ilmi”). Both transgenic Agb0103 and non-transgenic Ilmi rice were cultivated and harvested at two different locations, Suweon and Gunwi in 2013. There were no significant differences in proximates, amino acids, fatty acids, minerals, vitamins, and anti-nutrients such as phytic acid and trypsin, except for sodium content. Except for small differences in crude fiber and some vitamin B contents, most of nutrient values were included within the reference ranges as other conventional rices. Key nutrients in whole rice plant were also analyzed, and no significant differences were found between Agb0103 and Ilmi. Therefore, this study indicated that the drought-tolerant transgenic rice(Agb0103) was equivalent to the parental rice variety in key nutrients of rice grain and whole rice plant.
