비용모델과 측정(Cost Model and Estimation)은 모든 DBMS에서 성능 측정을 하기 위한 기본적인 도구이다. 지금까지의 질의 수행에 대한 비용모델을 제시하는 연구가 많이 있었지만 대부분의 연구가 특정 부분에 대한 비용-CPU비용, 색인 방법에 대한 I/O횟수, I/O비용 등-만을 고려함으로써 질의를 수행하는데 필요한 전체적인 비용을 산출하는데 부족한 점이 있었다. 그리고 병렬 공간 DBMS에 대한 비용모델을 산출하는 연구가 아직까지 이루어지지 않았다. 이 논문에서는 병렬 공간 DBMS에서 질의를 처리하는데 드는 전체적인 비용을 산출하고 있다. 기존의 연구에서 제시하고 있는 비용모델을 적용하고, 병렬 컴퓨터와 공간 데이터가 결합되었을 때의 고려사항을 추가하여 병렬 공간 DBMS에 적합한 전체적인 비용모델을 산출함으로써 병렬 공간 DBMS에서의 효율적인 질의수행에 대한 다른 연구를 수행할 때 비용모델에 대한 초석을 제공한다.

일반초등학교에 통합된 인공와우이식 아동의 구어능력 및 관련변인 분석

본 연구의 목적은 학령기 인공와우이식 아동의 구어능력을 어휘 이해 및 표현과 구문으로 나누어서 생활연령에 근거한 구어능력과 청각연령에 근거한 구어능력을 알아보고, 구어능력에 대한 수술연령, 수술전 청각수행력, 인공와우 사용기간, 생활연령, 현재의 청각수행력의 관련성을 분석하여 학령기 인공와우이식 아동의 청각-언어 재활에 대한 기초적 자료를 제공하고, 언어 중재에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 만 5세 이전에 인공와우이식을 받고 초등학교에 재학 중인 인공와우이식 아동 79명을 대상으로 어휘력 검사와 구문의미 이해력검사를 시행하여 생활연령에 근거한 표준점수와 청각연령에 근거한 표준점수를 산출하였고, 언어 영역간 점수 차이를 비교하였다. 인공와우이식 아동의 구어능력에 대한 수술연령, 수술전 청각수행력, 인공와우 사용기간, 생활연령, 말소리 지각력의 관련성을 알아보기 위해서 상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 시행하였다. 분석 결과, 인공와우이식 아동의 생활연령에 근거한 구어능력은 또래 건청 아동에 비해서 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 형태구문능력에서 큰 결함이 있었다. 청각연령에 근거한 구어능력을 분석한 결과 어휘발달 속도에서 청각연령이 같은 건청 아동보다 빠른 발달을 보였고, 표준점수는 건청 아동의 정상범주에 해당하였다. 관련변인을 분석한 결과, 수술연령과 말소리 지각력이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study were to investigate the oral language abilities of school-aged children with cochlear implants in terms of vocabulary and morpho-syntactic aspects, and to analyze the effects of child-related factors and speech perception on language abilities in these children. The subjects of this study were 79 children with cochlear implants who received the cochlear implantation under age of five and used oral communication, and 114 CA matched normal hearing children. Language abilities were evaluated using the REVT and KOSECT, and were calculated standard scores with reference to both chronological age and hearing age. The effects of child-related factors and speech perception on language abilities were analyzed using correlational analysis and multiple regression. Participants showed oral language delay in standard scores derived from CA, but not in standard scores derived from HA. Among three aspects of language, children with CIs had more difficulties in morpho-syntactics than in receptive and expressive vocabulary. The results of multiple regression revealed speech perception and age at implantation affected oral language abilities of school aged children with CIs. These results showed that continuous and intensive auditory-language education, especially focusing on grammar, is required for school years, and early implantation is helpful for reducing the language delay before implantation.

초등학교 1-2학년 받아쓰기 부진 아동의 특성 연구

본 연구의 목적은 철자쓰기에 문제를 보이는 아동과 일반 아동의 음운인식 능력을 비교하는 것이다. 또한 철자쓰기와 관련있다고 여겨지는 음운인식 능력, 철자지식, 읽기 능력간의 관계를 살펴보고 철자쓰기를 설명할 수 있는 설명 변인이 무엇인지를 조사하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 지능과 부모의 사회 경제적 지위가 유사한 일반 아동들과 철자쓰기가 부진한 아동들을 대상으로 하여 연구자들이 개발한 음운인식 능력 검사와 철자지식검사등을 실시하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 일반 아동들과 철자쓰기가 부진한 아동들간에 음운인식 능력과 철자 지식에 차이가 있었으며, 아동들의 철자쓰기 능력을 설명하는 설명 변인은 음운인식인 것으로 나타났다. The current study examined the relationship of phonological awareness, letter knowledge to the scores from 2 tests of spelling skills in children with or without spelling difficulty. There are positive relationships among reading, spelling, letter knowledge, letter-sound corresponding knowledge, phonological awareness. There was difference between two group in terms of phonological awareness, letter knowledge, and letter- sound corresponding knowledge. Multiple regression analysis indicated that the best predictor of achievement of spelling was phonological awareness in children. The phonological awareness task added significantly to the predication of spelling. *

(중소유통업 활성화 방안을 위한) “대ㆍ중소 유통기업간 상생협력 실증사례 연구”

유통시장 개방이후 신유통업태의 확산과 대형유통점의 급성장으로 중소유통업의 비중이 갈수록 감소하고 있다. 위기에 직면한 중소유통업체는 정부에 대형점에 대한 규제강화를 강력히 요구하고 있다. 에 대해 대형유통업체는 시장논리에 맞지 않는다며 정부의 일방적 규제 움직임에 크게 반발하고 있다. 본 연구는 최근 사회적 이슈로 주목을 받고 있는 대기업의 기업형슈퍼마켓 시장진출 확대로 빚어진 대․중소 유통업체간 갈등해소 방안에 대한 대안을 모색하고자 국내 유통산업의 동향과 변화추이를 분석하고 중소유통업의 당면한 문제점의 실상을 분석하였다. 이론적 고찰을 통해 분석된 자료를 토대로 대․중소 유통업체간 상생협력 방안에 대해 대안을 모색함에 있어 실제 산업현장에서 이뤄지고 있는 상생협력 실증사례를 분석하였다. 실증사례 분석모델 범위는 물류부문에 대한 대․중소 유통기업간 전략적 제휴동기와 제휴과정 그리고 제휴 성과이며, 분석결과를 통해 대․중소 유통업체간 상생협력 대안으로 제시하였다.

Recently, the need for Location-Based Services (LBS) has increased due to the development of mobile devices, such as PDAs, cellular phones and GPS. As a moving object database that stores and manages the positions of moving objects is the core technology of LBS, the scheme for maintaining the main memory DBMS to the server is necessary to store and process frequent reported positions of moving objects efficiently. However, previous works on a moving object database have studied mostly a disk based moving object index that is not guaranteed to work efficiently in the main memory DBMS because these indexes did not consider characteristics of the main memory. It is necessary to study the main memory index scheme for a moving object database. In this paper, we propose the main memory index scheme based on the R-tree for storing and processing positions of moving objects efficiently in the main memory DBMS. The proposed index scheme, which uses a growing node structure, prevents the splitting cost from increasing by delaying the node splitting when a node overflows. The proposed scheme also improves the search performance by using a MergeAndSplit policy for reducing overlaps between nodes and a LargeDomainNodeSplit policy for reducing a ratio of a domain size occupied by node`s MBRs. Our experiments show that the proposed index scheme outperforms the existing index scheme on the maximum 30% for range queries.

A precision linear motion table plays a crucial role in manufacturing systems used in various industries such as machine tools, semiconductors, and nanofabrication. In particular, one of the most typical mechanisms for a linear motion table is to use a ballscrew and LM guides. However, this mechanism is inevitably influenced by friction because of the relative motion in its joint regions. One of the most complex phenomena in friction is the hysteresis behavior of dynamic friction, which was compared with the steady dynamic friction that was presented using a Stribeck curve in this study. Therefore, we investigated the dynamic friction and its hysteresis behavior using a miniaturized linear table equipped with a ballscrew and LM guides that were lubricated with grease. Subsequently, it could be seen that hysteresis could be considered a time delay after zero-velocity crossing and that it was influenced by acceleration.

웹 환경에서 공간 데이터 변경 기법에 관한 연구

웹 환경의 성장으로 현재 GIS 응용은 기존의 랜 환경에서의 서비스를 웹에서도 할 수 있게 함으로써 보다 쉽게 다양한 사용자들이 서비스를 제공 받도록 하고 있다. 이런 이유로 웹 환경에서의 GIS 응용은 다양한 사용자 층에 대한 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 다양한 서비스 데이터를 필요로 하고, 이 데이터들은 빠른 시간 내에 지속적으로 사용자의 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 변경되어야 한다. 그러나 이러한 데이터 변경을 서버에서 모두 한다는 것은 불가능하기 때문에 클라이언트가 데이터 변경이 필요할 때 적절히 변경을 할 수 있는 방법이 제시되어야 한다. 랜 환경에서의 공간 데이터 변경과는 달리 웹 환경에서의 공간 데이터 변경은 현재까지 환경의 차이와 이로 인한 프로토콜의 복잡함 등의 이유로 연구가 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 이 논문에서는 웹 환경에서 웹 클라이언트가 서버측의 공간 데이터를 변경하는 문제에 대해서 다루고 있다. 웹 환경에서 공간 데이터를 변경할 때 가장 문제가 되는 HTTP 프로토콜의 연결 해제(Connectionless)와 상태 비유지(Stateless)에 대한 해결책을 제시한다. 그리고 비정상적인 상황의 발생을 고려하여 잠금과 서버 데이터의 불일치를 해결하는 프로토콜을 설계하고 이에 대한 구현을 통하여 검증을 한다.
