        Influence of quadriceps angle (Q-angle) on knee joint angles and moments during running

        대퇴각도(Q-angle)는 전상장골극(ASIS: anterior superior iliac spine)에서 슬관절(patella)의 중심을 잇는 선과 슬관절의 중심에서 경골조면(tibial tuberosity)에 이르는 선과의 각도로 정의된다. 이러한 하지의 대퇴각도가 평균보다 커질수록 슬개대퇴동통증후군(Patellofemoral pain)과 같은 런닝과 관계된 상해와 밀접한 관계가 있을 것이라고 보고되고 있다. 하지만 아직까지 대퇴각도가 실제 런닝 관련 관절상해를 발생시키는 관절부하와의 관계는 연구가 되지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 대퇴각도에 따른 무릎관절 모멘트와의 관계를 연구함으로 런닝 상해의 원리와 상해예방과 치료를 위한 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 건강한 10명의 남성피험자들이 실험에 참여하였다. 실험을 위해서 6대의 3차원 동작 분석용 고속카메라(Motion Analysis Corporation, USA)와 1대의 지면반력기(Kistler, Switzerland)가 이용되었으며 런닝시 지지기의 무릎관절각도와 관절모멘트가 산출되었다. 먼저 피험자들의 대퇴각도가 측정되었고 이후 동일한 런닝화를 착용하고 4.0±0.2m/s의 속도로 10회의 런닝을 실시하였다. 연구결과에서 대퇴관절각도가 큰 그룹(8.1±0.4°)과 작은 그룹(15.4±1.7°)간에 무릎의 각도는 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다(p>0.05). 다만 대퇴각도가 작은 경우 런닝의 지지기동안 상대적으로 무릎이 보다 내전(adduction)되는 경향을 보여주었다. 한편 대퇴각도가 작은 경우 대퇴각도가 큰 경우에 비해 런닝간 발생하는 모멘트가 상대적으로 높은 경향을 나타났다. 하지만 통계적으로는 유의하게 나타나지는 않았다(p=0.14). 본 연구에서는 대퇴각도와 무릎관절 부하와의 밀접한 관계를 규명하지는 못하였다. 차후의 연구에서는 다양한 대퇴각도를 포함하는 피험자수를 포함시킴으로써 통계적유의 수준을 향상시킬 수 있다고 판단되어 진다. 하지의 대퇴각도와 무릎관절 부하의 관계를 통해서 런닝 상해의 원리를 보다 이해할 수 있다면 상해를 예방하거나 상해발생시 개개인에 맞는 효과적인 운동재활프로그램을 개발하는데 매우 유용한 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

        거자법(巨刺法)에 의한 전침자극(電鍼刺戟)이 흰쥐의 formalin 유도(誘導) 통증(痛症)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        Acupuncture has been used for treatment of numerous diseases, especially for pain control in the oriental culture. However, the mechanism of pain control by acupuncture was not clear so far. The present study was examined that the effects of electro-acupuncture (EA) applied to the acu-point of extra-segmental area on modulation of formalin induced pain in Sprague - Dawley rats. In order to apply EA to acu-points in the plantar area of right fore paws, a pair of teflon - coated stainless steel wires were implanted in HT 7 (shin-mun) and PC 7 (dae-neong) 5 days before behavioral test. A behavioral test was performed by means of video camera after injection of 5% formalin ($50{\mu}l$) into the lateral plantar region of left hind paw. EA was delivered by a constant current stimulator at 4~5 mA, 2 ms, and 10 Hz for 30 min. The electromyographic activities were recorded in the biceps femoris muscle under chloral hydrate anesthesia. Test stimuli with 1~9mA were applied to the sural nerve territory including the medial portion of the 4th toe and the lateral portion of the 5th toe. Behavioral responses including favoring, flinching and bitting were occured in the biphasic pattern, such as the lst phase (0~5 min) and the 2nd phase (20~45 min) after formalin injection. However, EA (4~5 mA, 2 ms, 10 Hz) significantly inhibited Che behavioral responses. EMG activities of flexor reflex had a latency of 100~300 ms and thresholds of test stimuli for EMG were 4~5 mA in normal rats. Injection of formalin decreased threshold of test stimuli and increased EMG activities for 2hrs after injection. However, EA significantly inhibited EMG activities of flexor reflex increased by formalin and recovered EMG evoked thresholds. These results suggest that contralateral extra-segmental EA inhibits the first and second phases of formalin induced pain but their mechanism be needed to examine additionally.

        자가 경혈 스포츠마사지가 대학생의 두통과 견통에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of 12-weeks self meridian point sports massage on headache and omodynia of college students. Methods: The subjects of this study included 40 college students. The subjects were divided into the control group(CG, n=20) those who did not participate in the self meridian point sports massage program and self meridian point sports massage group(SG; n= 20) those who participated in the self meridian point sports massage program. The self meridian point sports massage program conducted 2 times a week for 12 weeks, with 20 minutes per session. Significance verification were analyzed by two-way repeated measures ANOVA. The significant level of hypothesis verification is set-up as α=.05. Results: The results of this study are follows. 1) There were significantly improved pressure pain threshold and VAS of headache on university students by 12 weeks self meridian point sports massage. 2) There were significantly improved pressure pain threshold and VAS of headache on university students by 12 weeks self meridian point sports massage. Conclusion: In summary, the findings in this study confirm that 12 weeks self meridian point sports massage program led to a positive effect on headache and omodynia.

        삼음교(SP6) 혈위에 관한 연구 - 족내과상 8촌설에 대하여 -

        Objectives : The objective of this study was to examine the acupoint location of Sameumgyo (SP6) from classic literatures. Methods : A review of SP6 acupoint location on 13 classics of acupuncture and moxibustion was performed. Results : Differences of SP6 acupoint location were found by classics of acupuncture and moxibustion. 9 classics of acupuncture and moxibustion said the acupoint of SP6 was located on 3 cun above the tip of the medial malleoulus, however acupoint location of SP6 was described on 8 cun above the tip of the medial malleoulus by 4 classics of acupuncture and moxibustion. Conclusions : Through a classic literature review, it was possible for the explanation that the location of SP6 was 8 cun above the tip of the medial malleoulus, but it was not intended to overturn the theory of 3 cun above the tip of the medial malleoulus regarding location of SP6. This study may be the starting point for future experimental or clinical studies for exploring new acupoint, and is expected to follow up. .

        전기자동차 전환의도에 영향을 끼치는 요인에 관한 연구 - Pull-Push-Mooring 프레임워크 관점 -

        The purpose of this study is to present 6 variables that affect the intention to switch to electric vehicles based on the PPM(Pull-Push-Mooring) framework of migration theory, and to identify the effects of these 6 variables on PPM factors and the intention to switch to electric vehicles. As a research method, this study conducted a survey on 207 domestic drivers aged 18 or older in Korea, and applied the empirical analysis method using PLS 4.0 software. The results of the empirical analysis can be summarized as follows. First, it was found that both of the economic benefits of electric vehicles and driving pleasure had a positive effect on Pull(attractiveness of electric vehicles). In turn, Pull had a positive effect on the intention to switch to electric vehicles. Second, both of dissatisfaction with internal combustion engine vehicles and high maintenance costs of internal combustion engine vehicles had a positive effect on Push(distrust of internal combustion engine vehicles). But Push(distrust of internal combustion engine vehicles) did not have a significant effect on the intention to switch to electric vehicles. Third, both of technological immaturity and high information search cost of electric vehicles had a positive effect on mooring(lock-in to internal combustion engine vehicles). Mooring had a negative effect on the intention to switch to electric vehicles. The implications of this study are as follows. First, theoretically, what differentiates this study from previous studies is that it understands the intention to switch to electric vehicles by applying the PPM framework of migration theory. Second, in practice, the results of this study show that electric vehicle supply and sales companies actively promote the attractiveness of electric vehicles(economic benefits, driving pleasure), and solve the disadvantages of electric vehicles (technical immaturity, high information search costs).
