There are winds and waves in the sea, and they are changed frequently in accordance with the weather. By analyzing then which have the closest relation to the ship's safe voyage, evaluating the seakeeping performance and then taking a proper act on, navigators should carry out safe navigation on the sea A ship in seaways suffers continuous disturbances by irregular waves, and ship motions with irregular waves cannot be easily described as a system model which is adequate to a control system. But, in general, for seakeeping analysis, ship motions in irregular seas can be estimated by the superposition of the motion responses in regular wave components of the sea spectrum. After comparing and analyzing the winds and waves in major sea areas, this paper evaluates the navigational safety of ships on the Korean coast with potential dangerous seakeeping performance using the weather information provided by land The conclusion is as follows: (1) It is possible that the safety of ships could be secured more accurately by evaluating the seakeeping performance of ships. (2) When the weather is bad, the departure of ships could be controlled by evaluating the navigational safety of ships. (3) When a ship is placed in commission in any area, this evaluation could be used to decide the type and size of ship in use.
Critical Limb Ischemia의 치료에서 Angiosome의올바른 이해와 적용

Ian Taylor introduces the angiosome concept, separating the body into distinct three-dimensional blocks of tissue fed by source arteries. Understanding the angiosome of the foot and ankle and the interaction among their source arteries is clinically useful in surgical bypass or endovascular treatment of the foot and ankle, especially in the critical limb ischemia. The angiosome concept may provide useful information on the human vascular anatomy and related pathology, with specific applications in surgical and endovascular treatment. This knowledge may become particularly beneficial in critical limb ischemia, while treating advanced atherosclerotic disease. The implementation of angiosome derived strategies in critical limb ischemia may afford encouraging wound healing and limb salvage rates for both, surgical bypass or endovascular techniques. However, the angiosome concepts have several limitations, and thus, large comparative studies are necessary to support these concepts. This paper reviews the available literature on this revascularization strategy and focuses on the potential benefit of angiosome-guided treatment for patients of critical limb ischemia.

이동체에 대해서 위성을 이용한 통신 방식을 규정하고 있는 DVB-SSP 표준화에서는 Physical Layer와 Upper Layer의 두 단계로 부호화 및 복호화를 한다. 수신단에서 Physical Layer의 복호 방식인 LDPC 복호 후 Upper Layer의 erasure RS 복호를 위해, CRC 검사를 수행하여 수신된 데이터에서 1 bit의 오류발생에도 IP 패킷 모두를 삭제함으로써 복호 시 비효율성을 증가시킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 LDPC 복호기에 출력되는 LLR 값을 이용하여 IP 패킷 전체를 삭제하는 것이 아니라 LLR 값이 낮은 비트만 선택적으로 삭제하는 방식을 제안하며, 이를 시뮬레이션 하여 기존의 CRC 방식과 비교하였다. DVB-SSP is a new broadcasting system for hybrid satellite communications, which supports mobile handheld systems and fixed terrestrial systems. An upper layer, including erasure Reed-Solomon error correction combined with cyclic redundancy check. However, a critical factor must be considered in upper layer decoding. If there is only one bit error in an IP packet, the entire IP packet is considered as unreliable bytes, even if it contains correct bytes. If, for example, there is one real byte error, in an IP packet of 512 bytes, 511 correct bytes are erased from the frame. Therefore, this paper proposed upper layer decoding methods; LLR-based decoding. By means of simulation we show that the performance of the proposed decoding algorithm is superior to that of the conventional one.

The representative risk evaluation techniques of the marine traffic environment are the FSA, PAWSA, & IWRAP. For the development of these techniques, the risk factors suitable to the marine traffic environment should be selected & the assessment criterion of the risk factors should be provided. The risk factors were selected as the factors that relate both to the frequency of casualty & to the consequence of casualty because the risk was defined as the frequency of casualty times the consequence of that casualty on the existing techniques. But, the risk factors relate to the consequence of casualty are excluded because the risk is defined as the sum of the risk factors including the frequency and the consequence by factors on this study. The 20 kinds of risk factors to compose the risk are selected and classified into 5 categories according to similar nature through the analysis of preceding study on the classification of the risk factors. Finally, as the foundation of risk assessment model's development for domestic marine traffic environment, the practical assessment criterion of the risk factors are suggested.

Recently, many ships such as fishing boats, cargo ships, high speed ferry boats are visiting Mokpo harbor. In particular, many marine accidents have been occurred at this area due to the narrow channel, a thick fog, the existing of the shallow waters etc. However there is no suitable ships' routeing system which takes account of today's traffic situations in this area. This study aims at the settling of hazardous factors to mitigate the danger to vessels in Mokpo harbor and to secure the safety of maritime environment.

Daesan Harbor is developing under the Industrial Complex or Petrochemistry Development Plan making the port the main hub-port in the West coast. Because of this development. the traffic volume is expected to increase to 9,1.95 incoming vessels by 2020, an increase of 167% compared to 2008 figure. This study thoroughly analyzes and evaluates a systematic and comprehensive use of the fairway in the Daesan Harbor. It establishes a future oriented and safe marine transportation environment upon appropriate examination of the total fairways and sailing assistance facilities.
시설재배에서 Botrytis cinerea에 의한 가지 잿빛곰팡이병

Botrytis cinerea E12 was isolated from the leaves, flowers and fruits of eggplant in the greenhouse in Halrim, Kimhae and Dejeo, Pusan. The leaves infected with the pathogen were appeared initially brown-color, small gray spots at the edge, and finally fall down. The fruit was showed the symptoms of circular or irregular shapes, followed by sunken. When the symptoms were developed, the conidia formed on the surface with gray color. To determine the pathogenicity of B. cinerea E12 against the eggplants, the conidia were suspended with 30% tomato juice, PDB and sterile water, respectively. The result showed that the conidial suspension with 30% tomato juice was highly effective on the pathogenicity as more than 90%. Moreover, the symptoms caused by inoculum were the same as those of wild-type pathogen.
국내 통항분리수역 설치 효과에 관한 연구 -해양사고 및 해상교통흐름을 중심으로-

The "ship's routeing" system was adopted by IMO and has been operated on the major sea routes of all over the world for the prevention of marine casualty and the improvement of marine traffic flow. Thereupon, also in Korea, the "Hong-do" and "Bogil-do" sea routes on southern coast were designated to mandatory sea area by traffic separation scheme(TSS) in 2003, and the "Geomun-do" sea route on southern coast was designated in 2005. But there were few or no studies on the effect of designated traffic separation scheme in Korea. For this reason, in this paper, we evaluated the contribution of traffic separation scheme to the prevention of marine casualty and the improvement of marine traffic flow after designation of domestic traffic separation scheme using data of the marine casualties and ship's tracks from AIS information. The results of evaluation showed that on the contrary, the cases of marine casualties were increased on some sea routes and regular traffic flows were disturbed by some vessels after designation of traffic separation scheme. For the safer and better sea routes, alternative ideas such as reposition of ship's routing on "Hong-do" and "Bogil-do" sea areas were suggested.
