        우리나라 재배지역별 야콘 생산성 및 기능성 프락토올리고당 평가

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of envrionmental factors on the ecological responses, yield, and quality properties and physicochemical characteristics of yacon cultivated in various regions of Korea. Experiments were carried out in eight regions from 2010 to 2013. The temperature range in Jinbu, Bonghwa, Cheolwon, and Gangneung during the growth period of yacon cultivation was $17.5-24.6^{\circ}C$. The total yield and marketable yield of tuberous root in Jinbu were 4,065 and 3,196 kg/10a, respectively. The sugar content of yacon tuberous roots comprised 0.11-0.20% fructose, 0.11-0.37% glucose, 0.39-0.68% sucrose, 0.07-0.37% reducing sugar, and 7.03-9.62% fructo-oligosaccharides. The content of fructo-oligosaccharides, which is a functional substance, was the highest in yacon cultivated in Jinbu. Based on the productivity and functional fructo-oligosaccharides, the optimum areas to cultivate yacon are Jinbu and Bonghwa, which are located in the middle-highland zone (500-560 m) and have a suitable growth temperature of $18-25^{\circ}C$. The results of the present study indicate that temperature could be the factor with the greatest influence on the root growth of yacon.

        조현병 환자들의 일상적 의사결정 과정에서 무쾌감증 및 자아존중감의 영향

        Objectives Decision-making in patients with schizophrenia has been known to be inefficient in both cognitive and affective aspects. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of anhedonia and self-esteem on the decision-making process in schizophrenia. Methods Twenty patients with schizophrenia and 21 healthy controls performed the 'apparel purchase decision-making task', during which they were asked to respond to the preference, fitness, and price suitability, before making the final purchase decision. Generalized estimating equation and correlation analysis were conducted to explore for the difference of decision making patterns and influential factors between the two groups. Results The patients showed lower odds ratio (OR) of the fitness on the apparel purchase decision than the controls [OR 0.190 ; 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.047-0.762, p = 0.019). In the patient group, there was no correlation between the number of purchased trials and the severity of anhedonia, but the number of purchased trials was negatively correlated with the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale score at a trend level (R = -0.436, p = 0.055). Conclusions Patients with schizophrenia considered the fitness of clothes less than healthy controls on apparel purchasing decisions. Schizophrenia patients with lower self-esteem were intended to buy more clothes.

        감귤 내 생리활성성분이 간암세포의 생존에 미치는 영향

        Previous studies have suggested that Citrus fruits might suppress the proliferation of various cancer cells. However, little is known about any specific ingredients in the extract of Citrus fruits to exert its anti-proliferative activity in cancer cells. The present study aimed to identify the active ingredients in Citrus fruits to suppress the proliferation of rat hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Among tested compounds, two polymethoxylated flavones (nobiletin and tangeritin) showed significant anti-proliferative activity whereas other compounds (synephrine, rutin, hesperidin) did not. Interestingly, nobiletin as well as tangeritin also decreased the protein amount of gluconeogenic enzymes, PEPCK and G6Pase. The possible involvement of gluconeogenic activity in the proliferation of hepatocellulacarcinoma cells are further to be investigated.

        건성피부 및 소양증에 대한 잘스밍R 크림의 임상효과에 대한 연구

        Background: Xerosis is a relatively common disorder, especially in the elderly. The condition is characterized by fine scaling and is associated with generalized pruritus. Objective : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy, safety and tolerability of Zalsming cream in patients with xerosis and pruritus. Methods : Thirty patients were treated with Zalsming cream. Clinical efficacy, as measured by the score of subjective symptom and objective signs, transepidermal water loss(TEWL) and electron microscopic finding, were asessed at 2, 4, and 6 weeks after topical application of the cream. Results . The scores of clinical signs and TEWL showed statistically significant improvements. No one developed any local or systemic side effects. Conclusion : Topical application of Zalsming cream was found to be effective and safe for patients suffering from xerosis and pruritus. (Kor J Dermatol 1997;35(3): 418-423)

        $(1-x)CaWO_4-xYNbO_4$계 세라믹스의 마이크로파 유전특성

        [ $(1-x)CaWO_4-xYNbO_4$ ]계에 대하여 $YNbO_4(0.05{\leq}x{\leq}0.4)$의 치환량 변화에 따른 마이크로파 유전특성을 고찰하였다. x=0.10 조성까지 정방정(tetragonal) scheelite 구조의 $CaWO_4$ 단일상이 확인되었고, 그 이상 첨가 시 fergusonite 구조의 2차상이 증가하였다. $YNbO_4$ 첨가량이 증가할수록 겉보기 밀도는 감소하였는데, 이는 $CaWO_4(6.117g/cm^3)$보다 $YNbO_4(5.581g/cm^3)$가 더 낮은 이론밀도 값을 갖기 때문이다. $YNbO_4$의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 유전상수(K)와 품질계수(Qf)는 2차상의 증가와 밀도의 감소로 인해 감소하는 경향을 보였고, $YNbO_4$ 치환량에 따른 소결시편의 공진주파수 온도계수(TCF)의 변화는 존재상의 유전체 혼합 법칙(dielectric mixing rule)에 의존하였다. Microwave dielectric properties of $(1-x)CaWO_4-xYNbO_4$ ceramics have been investigated as a function of $YNbO_4$ content($0.05{\leq}x{\leq}0.4$). A single phase with tetragonal scheelite structure was obtained up to x=0.10 and then the secondary phase with fergusonite structure was increased. With the increase of $YNbO_4$ content, apparent densities of the specimens were decreased. This results were due to the lower theoretical density of $YNbO_4(5.581g/cm^3)$ than that of $CaWO_4(6.117g/cm^3)$. Dielectric constant(K) and quality factor(Qf) were decreased with $YNbO_4$ content which could be attribute to the decrease of density and the increase of secondary phase. Temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (TCF) of the specimens with the $YNbO_4$ content was depended on dielectric mixing rule.

        균형성과표(BSC)를 활용한 국립중앙도서관 성과지표 개발에 관한 연구

        국립중앙도서관은 국가대표도서관으로 국가지식문화유산의 수집·제공·보존관리 등의 국가도서관 임무를 수행하고 있다. 본 연구는 국가도서관인 국립중앙도서관의 지속적 성장과 발전을 위한 합리적 경영개선 도구로서 성과지표 개발을 목표로 하였다. 성과지표는 도서관 환경변화에 대응한 조직의 전략과 성과측정 연계에 유용한 균형성과표(Balanced Scorecard, BSC)를 기반으로 하였다. ① 자원, 접근, 인프라 관점, ② 이용 관점, ③ 효율성 관점, ④ 잠재력과 성장 관점, 19개 핵심성공요인, 71개 지표로 국립중앙도서관 성과지표를 개발하였다. 또한 국립중앙도서관 직급과 직무에 따른 성과지표 인식의 차이를 분석하였다. As a national library, the National Library of Korea is responsible for collection, provision, and preservation of national knowledge, information, and cultural heritage. This study aims to develop performance indicators as a rational tool to improve management of the National Library of Korea for its continuous growth and development. The performance indicators are based on the BSC(Balanced Scorecard), which is useful for linking the organization's strategies in response to changes in the library environment with performance measurement. As a result, 4 BSC-based perspectives (① Resources, Access, Infrastructure Perspective, ② Usage Perspective, ③ Efficiency Perspective, ④ Potential and Growth Perspective), 19 key success factors, and 71 performance indicators were developed for the National Library of Korea. Also, differences in perception of performance indicators by ranks and job duties at the National Library of Korea were analyzed.

        소셜 미디어 환경에서 대학생들의 건강정보 요구와 추구행태에 관한 탐험적 연구

        본 연구는 소셜 미디어의 활발한 이용자 집단인 대학생들을 대상으로 소셜 미디어 환경에서의 건강정보 요구와, 건강정보 추구행태, 그리고 소셜 미디어에서 제공되는 건강정보의 신뢰성에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 22명의 대학생들을 심층면접한 결과, 소셜 미디어의 이용은 특히 몸에 이상증상을 느끼는 단계에서 증상의 진단을 위해 이루어지거나 건강한 상태에서 건강유지를 위해 활용하는 것으로 나타났다. 대학생들의 개별 소셜 미디어에 대한 신뢰성 인식은 개인별로 큰 차이를 보이고 있어서 온라인상의 건강정보를 효과적으로 평가, 획득할 수 있도록 건강정보 활용능력 교육이 필요하다. This study examined undergraduates' health information needs, information seeking behaviors, and their perceptions of credibility of health information in social media environments. Interviews with 22 undergraduates revealed that social media was used mainly in a preventive stage or in a health maintenance stage. The perceptions of credibility of health information widely differed according to the type of social media. This finding indicated the need for health information literacy education that could help undergraduates effectively evaluate and acquire health information online.

        멸치볶음 저작·연하 용이 노인식 개발

        Failure of the functions involved in ingestion leads to, not only loss of enjoyment of eating, but also protein-energy malnutrition. Dysmasesis and difficulty of swallowing occurs in various diseases, but aging is a major cause. In the aging society, the proportion of elderly people with dysmasesis and difficulty of swallowing is expected to increase rapidly. Developing foods for the elderly that are easy to chew and swallow is thus required. This study was conducted to develop easily chewable and swallowable foods for the elderly who can crush foods and ingest with their own tongues, but occasionally have difficulty in drinking fluids such as water and tea. Various foods for the elderly with chewing and swallowing difficulties were used for sensory assessment. The sensory panel consisted of 10 dietitians (10 women) in nursing care facilities. The sensory optimal composite recipes were determined by central composite design (CCD). The sensory measurements were significantly different in saltiness (p<0.05), sweetness (p<0.05), and overall quality (p<0.05). The optimum formulation of stir fried anchovy calculated by numerical and graphical methods was 3.74 g of soy sauces and 30.17 g of oligo-saccharides. Stir fried anchovy had a moisture content, hardness and adhesiveness of 76.52%, 2.10, and -1.57, respectively.

        대구시 북구지역의 식용얼음에서 세균 분포 및 동정

        식용얼음은 식품의 제조 가공 조리 등에 직접 사용하거나 그대로 먹기 위해 먹는 물을 얼린 얼음을 뜻하며 얼음의 제조 및 판매 과정에서 미생물이 교차 오염되면 식중독 및 장염을 유발한다. 또한 식용얼음 뿐만 아니라 상수계통, 약수물, 상수와 냉온수기의 정수된 물에서도 여러 가지 원인에 의해서 세균이 증식하는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 이유로 대구시 북구지역에서 생산되는 식용얼음의 위생 상태를 살펴보고자 무작위로 15곳을 선정하여 Brain Heart Infusion 배지에서 세균을 배양한 결과 1곳을 제외한 14곳의 검체에서 균이 증식 되었고 그람염색 결과, 그람음성간균이 80% 차지하였고 그람양성구균 17% 그리고 그람음성구균 3%의 분포를 나타냈다. 그람음성간균의 잠정적인 동정방법으로 API 20E kit와 API 20NE kit를 이용한 결과 Enterobacter cloacae, Chryseomonas luteola, Pantoea spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, Providencia rettgeri 등이 검출 되었다. 5곳에서 분리된 그람양성구균을 API Staph kit를 이용한 잠정적 동정결과 L업소에서 분리된 균은 식중독을 일으키는 병원성이 강한 Staphylococcus aureus로 동정되었다. 본 연구에서는 대구시 북구 지역의 식용 얼음류에 존재하는 일반세균 및 병원성 세균의 분포를 조사함으로 식용얼음의 위생 상태에 대한 주의를 부각시키고 나아가 대구시 타지역의 식용얼음에 대한 세균분포 조사 및 위생상태 점검에 대한 필요성을 시사한다. The definition of edible ice is frozen water for the use of food manufacturing, processing, or cooking, as well as for the direct eating. It has been reported that in the process of ice manufacturing and its selling, edible ice is contaminated with some microorganisms, which causes food poisoning and gastroenteritis. It was shown that besides in the edible ice, germ growth caused by various reasons occurred in the mineral water, tap water, water filtering system, and water purifier. With public awareness, in order to examine the sanitary conditions of edible ice in the Northern area of Daegu metropolitan city, 15 places were randomly selected. As a result, 14 places were found to be contaminated with microorganisms. After incubating on the Brain Heart Infusion (BHI) agar plate, 80% of Gram-negative bacilli, 17% of Gram-positive cocci, and 3% of Gram-negative cocci were cultured. Enterobacter cloacae, Chryseomonas luteola, Pantoea spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus or Providencia rettgeri were detected. Gram-positive cocci cultured in BHI agar plate from 5 specimens were identified as Staphylococcus aureus or Staphylococcus xylosus, which is well known bacteria causing strong food poisoning. This present paper raises questions on the importance and awareness of sanitary conditions of edible ice and the identification of pathogenic microorganisms living in the edible ice in relation to their distribution. The examination of sanitary conditions of edible ice in other areas in Daegu seems to be also needed to find out if there are similar cases.
