        조현병 환자들의 일상적 의사결정 과정에서 무쾌감증 및 자아존중감의 영향

        Objectives Decision-making in patients with schizophrenia has been known to be inefficient in both cognitive and affective aspects. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of anhedonia and self-esteem on the decision-making process in schizophrenia. Methods Twenty patients with schizophrenia and 21 healthy controls performed the 'apparel purchase decision-making task', during which they were asked to respond to the preference, fitness, and price suitability, before making the final purchase decision. Generalized estimating equation and correlation analysis were conducted to explore for the difference of decision making patterns and influential factors between the two groups. Results The patients showed lower odds ratio (OR) of the fitness on the apparel purchase decision than the controls [OR 0.190 ; 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.047-0.762, p = 0.019). In the patient group, there was no correlation between the number of purchased trials and the severity of anhedonia, but the number of purchased trials was negatively correlated with the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale score at a trend level (R = -0.436, p = 0.055). Conclusions Patients with schizophrenia considered the fitness of clothes less than healthy controls on apparel purchasing decisions. Schizophrenia patients with lower self-esteem were intended to buy more clothes.

        우리나라 재배지역별 야콘 생산성 및 기능성 프락토올리고당 평가

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of envrionmental factors on the ecological responses, yield, and quality properties and physicochemical characteristics of yacon cultivated in various regions of Korea. Experiments were carried out in eight regions from 2010 to 2013. The temperature range in Jinbu, Bonghwa, Cheolwon, and Gangneung during the growth period of yacon cultivation was $17.5-24.6^{\circ}C$. The total yield and marketable yield of tuberous root in Jinbu were 4,065 and 3,196 kg/10a, respectively. The sugar content of yacon tuberous roots comprised 0.11-0.20% fructose, 0.11-0.37% glucose, 0.39-0.68% sucrose, 0.07-0.37% reducing sugar, and 7.03-9.62% fructo-oligosaccharides. The content of fructo-oligosaccharides, which is a functional substance, was the highest in yacon cultivated in Jinbu. Based on the productivity and functional fructo-oligosaccharides, the optimum areas to cultivate yacon are Jinbu and Bonghwa, which are located in the middle-highland zone (500-560 m) and have a suitable growth temperature of $18-25^{\circ}C$. The results of the present study indicate that temperature could be the factor with the greatest influence on the root growth of yacon.

        멸치볶음 저작·연하 용이 노인식 개발

        Failure of the functions involved in ingestion leads to, not only loss of enjoyment of eating, but also protein-energy malnutrition. Dysmasesis and difficulty of swallowing occurs in various diseases, but aging is a major cause. In the aging society, the proportion of elderly people with dysmasesis and difficulty of swallowing is expected to increase rapidly. Developing foods for the elderly that are easy to chew and swallow is thus required. This study was conducted to develop easily chewable and swallowable foods for the elderly who can crush foods and ingest with their own tongues, but occasionally have difficulty in drinking fluids such as water and tea. Various foods for the elderly with chewing and swallowing difficulties were used for sensory assessment. The sensory panel consisted of 10 dietitians (10 women) in nursing care facilities. The sensory optimal composite recipes were determined by central composite design (CCD). The sensory measurements were significantly different in saltiness (p<0.05), sweetness (p<0.05), and overall quality (p<0.05). The optimum formulation of stir fried anchovy calculated by numerical and graphical methods was 3.74 g of soy sauces and 30.17 g of oligo-saccharides. Stir fried anchovy had a moisture content, hardness and adhesiveness of 76.52%, 2.10, and -1.57, respectively.

        대구시 북구지역의 식용얼음에서 세균 분포 및 동정

        식용얼음은 식품의 제조 가공 조리 등에 직접 사용하거나 그대로 먹기 위해 먹는 물을 얼린 얼음을 뜻하며 얼음의 제조 및 판매 과정에서 미생물이 교차 오염되면 식중독 및 장염을 유발한다. 또한 식용얼음 뿐만 아니라 상수계통, 약수물, 상수와 냉온수기의 정수된 물에서도 여러 가지 원인에 의해서 세균이 증식하는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 이유로 대구시 북구지역에서 생산되는 식용얼음의 위생 상태를 살펴보고자 무작위로 15곳을 선정하여 Brain Heart Infusion 배지에서 세균을 배양한 결과 1곳을 제외한 14곳의 검체에서 균이 증식 되었고 그람염색 결과, 그람음성간균이 80% 차지하였고 그람양성구균 17% 그리고 그람음성구균 3%의 분포를 나타냈다. 그람음성간균의 잠정적인 동정방법으로 API 20E kit와 API 20NE kit를 이용한 결과 Enterobacter cloacae, Chryseomonas luteola, Pantoea spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, Providencia rettgeri 등이 검출 되었다. 5곳에서 분리된 그람양성구균을 API Staph kit를 이용한 잠정적 동정결과 L업소에서 분리된 균은 식중독을 일으키는 병원성이 강한 Staphylococcus aureus로 동정되었다. 본 연구에서는 대구시 북구 지역의 식용 얼음류에 존재하는 일반세균 및 병원성 세균의 분포를 조사함으로 식용얼음의 위생 상태에 대한 주의를 부각시키고 나아가 대구시 타지역의 식용얼음에 대한 세균분포 조사 및 위생상태 점검에 대한 필요성을 시사한다. The definition of edible ice is frozen water for the use of food manufacturing, processing, or cooking, as well as for the direct eating. It has been reported that in the process of ice manufacturing and its selling, edible ice is contaminated with some microorganisms, which causes food poisoning and gastroenteritis. It was shown that besides in the edible ice, germ growth caused by various reasons occurred in the mineral water, tap water, water filtering system, and water purifier. With public awareness, in order to examine the sanitary conditions of edible ice in the Northern area of Daegu metropolitan city, 15 places were randomly selected. As a result, 14 places were found to be contaminated with microorganisms. After incubating on the Brain Heart Infusion (BHI) agar plate, 80% of Gram-negative bacilli, 17% of Gram-positive cocci, and 3% of Gram-negative cocci were cultured. Enterobacter cloacae, Chryseomonas luteola, Pantoea spp., Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus or Providencia rettgeri were detected. Gram-positive cocci cultured in BHI agar plate from 5 specimens were identified as Staphylococcus aureus or Staphylococcus xylosus, which is well known bacteria causing strong food poisoning. This present paper raises questions on the importance and awareness of sanitary conditions of edible ice and the identification of pathogenic microorganisms living in the edible ice in relation to their distribution. The examination of sanitary conditions of edible ice in other areas in Daegu seems to be also needed to find out if there are similar cases.

        저작·연하 용이 소불고기 노인식 개발

        This study was conducted to develop for the elderly food that is safe, well-shaped, and easy to chew and swallow, using gelification. Gelatin, which has low adhesiveness, thereby lowering the possibility of being swallowed wrongly into the respiratory track, was used as a viscosity agent for the gelification. Water and gelatin amounts were adjusted to facilitate breaking the food with the tongue. Various foods for the elderly with chewing and swallowing difficulties were used for sensory assessment. Sensory panel consisted of 10 dietitians (10 women) in nursing care facilities. The sensory optimal composite recipes were determined by central composite design (CCD). The sensory measurements were significantly different in appearance (p<0.05), saltiness (p<0.05), sweetness (p<0.01), and overall quality (p<0.05). The optimum formulation of the Korean barbecue beef calculated by numerical and graphical method was 3.71 g of sugar and 19.53 g of soy sauce. Moisture content, hardness and adhesiveness of the Korean barbecue beef were 78.85%, 2.40, -1.87, respectively. The result shows that food for the elderly, which is easy to chew and swallow, using gelification will have sufficient competitiveness in terms of safety, taste, and preference. The development of food for the elderly that take into account the difficulties in chewing and swallowing among the elderly, reflects their preference, and has sufficient nutrients, is important to enable the elderly to enjoy their meals. Also, as the Korean society is getting older, it remains one of the biggest social challenges.

        홍경천(Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor)의 캘러스 배양에서 Salidroside생산

        본 실험은 기내 배양된 홍경천으로부터 캘러스를 유도하고 가장 잘 자라는 생장조건을 찾기 위해 수행되었다. 실험 결과를 종합해 보면 캘러스의 증식을 위한 배양조건은 최적배지를 조사한 결과,2B$_{5}$배지에서 생장율이 가장 좋았으며, 탄소원으로는 sucrose를 3%로 첨가했을 때 생장율이 가장 높았다. 질소원으로써는 49.6mM KNO$_3$와 2.0mM (NH$_4$)$_2$SO$_4$를 첨가했을 때 생장율이 가장 좋았으며, 인산의 농도는 2.16mM에서 높은 생장율을 보였다. 암배양과 광배양을 비교했을 때 암배양의 경우가 생장율이 높았으며,pH6에서 세포의 생장율이 가장 좋은 조건임을 확인되었다. 기내에서 배양된 캘러스와 자연산 뿌리는 TLC로 분석하여 salidroside를 확인하였으며, HPLC로 salidroside를 정량한 결과, 자연상태 홍경천의 뿌리는 건중량 당 0.17%으로 나타났으며 5% sucrose처리구에서 0.41%의 생산성을 보여, 자연산 홍경천의 뿌리에 비하여 캘러스에서 salidroside의 함량이 높은 것으로 나타났다. Callus of Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor were induced from leaf explant on l/2MS solid supplemented with combination of auxin (2.4-D, NAA: 0.1∼2mg/L) and cytokinin (BA: 0.1∼0.2mg/L). The effects of various medium, culture conditions and phytohormones on the growth of callus were investigated. MS, WPM, B$_{5}$ medium and diluted or concentrated media (1/2X, 2X, 3X) were used to investigate the growth of callus on each media. Among these, the highest growth was observed when cultured in in 2B$_{5}$ medium containing 0.5mg/L NAA and 1mg/L BA, 3% sucrose and 49.6 mM KNO$_3$ as nitrogen source, and 2.16mM NaH$_2$PO$_4$ as phoshate source at $25^{\circ}C$ in the dark. The calli cultured with 5% sucrose produced high salidroside content (0.41% on the basis of dry wt) than normal root (0.17%).

        메티실린 내성 황색포도알균 판독에 있어 항균제 감수성 검사와 mecA PCR법의 비교

        Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)는 화농성 질환, 균혈증을 유발하고 병원내 감염의 주요 원인균으로 알려져 있다. 병원에서의 MRSA 분리율은 점차 증가하여 80% 이상으로 보고 되고 있으며 Methicillin 뿐만 아니라 다른 항균제에도 내성을 나타냄으로 치료를 위한 항균제 사용에 제한을 받고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 MRSA의 정확한 판정을 통해 항생제 남용을 막고자 대부분의 병원에서 사용하는 항균제 감수성 검사법과 경제적인 면으로 인해 병원내에서 많이 사용되고 있지 않지만 정확도가 높은 mecA 유전자 검출법을 서로 비교하였다. 그 결과 대조군인 Methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus와 실험군 MRSA 20 균주를 대상으로 항균제 감수성 검사법과 mecA 유전자 PCR 검출법을 실시한 결과 MRSA 20 균주는 Oxacillin과 Cefoxitin에 모두 내성을 나타냈으나 mecA 유전자 검출에서는 20 개 중 17 개에서만 유전자가 검출되어 염기서열분석 결과 mecA 유전자임을 확인하였다. 이런 결과로 보아 mecA(-) 3 균주는 mecA 유전자의 변이로 추측할 수 있기에 임상에서의 MRSA의 판정은 항균제 디스크법과 mecA 유전자 PCR 검출법을 동시에 사용함으로 정확한 MRSA 진단에 도움을 주고자 한다. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is one of major pathogen causing hospital infection and several diseases such as purulent infection, bacteremia. The isolation ratio of MRSA is gradually increased up to 80% in the hospital, which makes a limitation for treatment of antibiotics because the isolated MRSA show resistance to methicillin as well as other antibiotics. This study proposes that mecA detecting methods which are not commonly used because of cost in the hospital is a more accurate method than Susceptibility Testing to detect a MRSA. We compared Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213 as a negative control and 20 MRSA strains isolated from patients by these two methods. We amplified mecA gene by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and confirmed the PCR products by sequencing. All of the MRSA showed oxacillin and cefoxitin resistance whereas 85% (16/19) of the strains had mecA wildtype. These results suggest that some of the MRSA are mecA mutants therefore mecA genotyping reinforces the MRSA detection by antibiotic susceptibility test.

        잡음 영상에서 불균등 돌연변이 연산자를 이용한 효율적 에지 검출

        이 논문은 진화 프로그래밍과 개선된 역전파 알고리즘을 이용한 에지 검출 방법을 제안한다. 진화 프로그래밍은 알고리즘의 성능저하와 계산비용을 고려하여 교차 연산은 수행하지 않고, 선택연산자와 돌연변이 연산자를 사용한다. 개선된 역전파 알고리즘은 학습단계에서 연결강도를 변화시킬 때 이전학습단계의 연결강도를 보조적으로 활용하는 방법이다. 이 개선된 역전파 알고리즘은 학습률 $\alpha$를 작은값으로 설정하기 때문에 각 학습단계에서의 연결강도 변화량이 기존의 방법에 비해 상대적으로 줄어들게 되어 학습이 느려지는 문제점을 해결하였다. 실험결과 학습시간과 검출률에 있어서 GA-BP(GA : Genetic Algorithm BP : Back-Propagation)를 이용한 방법보다 제안한 EP-MBP(EP : Evolutionary Programming, MBP :Momentum Back-Propagation)를 이용하여 학습시킨 방법이 학습시간의 단축과 효율적인 에지 검출 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. This paper proposes a method for detecting edge using an evolutionary programming and a momentum back-propagation algorithm. The evolutionary programming does not perform crossover operation as to consider reduction of capability of algorithm and calculation cost, but uses selection operator and mutation operator. The momentum back-propagation algorithm uses assistant to weight of learning step when weight is changed at learning step. Because learning rate o is settled as less in last back-propagation algorithm the momentum back-propagation algorithm discard the problem that learning is slow as relative reduction because change rate of weight at each learning step. The method using EP-MBP is batter than GA-BP method in both learning time and detection rate and showed the decreasing learning time and effective edge detection, in consequence.

      • 영어의 비강세 약모음 schwa /e/의 음성실현

        The present study examines the phonetic realizations of the unstressed weak vowel /e/ in English words produced by native and Korean ESL speakers. Traditionally, the stressed elements in utterance are considered to be prominent. In this sense, the unstressed weak vowel /e/ is predicted to be shorter in length, lower in pitch and intensity than the stressed vowels. The experiment shows that native English speakers correlate the unstressed weak vowel /e/ with both shorter duration and lower pitch; Korean ESL speakers correlate it with lower pitch only. We cannot find any significant statistical difference in intensity between /e/ and the stressed vowels in both cases. This study suggests it is important to acquire and produce the correct prosodic correlates of the unstressed weak vowel /e/ for Korean ESL speakers to command more natural English intonation, since /e/ is the most common vowel in English speech and consists of the English foot rhythm along with stressed vowels.

        Effect of Antibiotic Prophylaxis on Early-Onset Pneumonia in Cardiac Arrest Patients Treated with Therapeutic Hypothermia

        Background: Infectious complications frequently occur after cardiac arrest and may be even more frequent after therapeutic hypothermia. Pneumonia is the most common infectious complication associated with therapeutic hypothermia, and it is unclear whether prophylactic antibiotics administered during this intervention can decrease the development of early-onset pneumonia. We investigated the effect of antibiotic prophylaxis on the development of pneumonia in cardiac arrest patients treated with therapeutic hypothermia. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of patients who were admitted for therapeutic hypothermia after resuscitation for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest between January 2010 and July 2015. Patients who died within the first 72 hours or presented with pneumonia at the time of admission were excluded. Early-onset pneumonia was defined as pneumonia that developed within 5 days of admission. Prophylactic antibiotic therapy was defined as the administration of any parenteral antibiotics within the first 24 hours without any evidence of infection. Results: Of the 128 patients admitted after cardiac arrest, 68 were analyzed and 48 (70.6%) were treated with prophylactic antibiotics within 24 hours. The frequency of early-onset pneumonia was not significantly different between the prophylactic antibiotic group and the control group (29.2% vs 30.0%, respectively, p = 0.945). The most commonly used antibiotic was third-generation cephalosporin, and the class of prophylactic antibiotics did not influence early-onset pneumonia. Conclusion: Antibiotic prophylaxis in cardiac arrest patients treated with therapeutic hypothermia did not reduce the frequency of pneumonia.
