        The Efficacy of Mirodenafil for Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome in Middle-Aged Males

        Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy of mirodenafil in middle-aged male patients with chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS). Materials and Methods: Eighty-eight males with CP/CPPS were randomized to receive either levofloxacin (500 mg/d) (group L, 40 patients) or levofloxacin (500 mg/d) and mirodenafil (50 mg/d) (group ML, 48 patients) for six weeks. The International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index (NIH-CPSI), and erectile function (EF) domain scores of the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) questionnaire were used to grade symptoms at baseline and 6 weeks after treatment. Results: The mean change in total IPSS from baseline was higher in group ML than that in group L (group L, −1.1 vs. group ML, −4.3; p<0.05). Significant improvements were also seen in the IPSS voiding subscore (group L, −0.7 vs. group ML, −3.0; p<0.05). Changes observed in the NIH-CPSI of group ML at six weeks were greater than those at baseline (group L, −3.2 vs. group ML, −7.2; p<0.05). Significant improvements were seen in the NIH-CPSI voiding (group L, −0.5 vs. group ML, −1.7; p<0.05) and quality of life domains (group L, −1.0 vs. group ML, −1.8; p<0.05). Group ML showed a significantly greater increase in the IIEF-EF score than did group ML (group L, +0.2 vs. group ML, +7.8; p<0.05). Conclusions: Mirodenafil (50 mg once daily) was well tolerated and resulted in significant symptomatic improvement in middle-aged males with CP/CPPS.

        팀 구성원 인지능력 다양성과 팀 성찰 활동이 창의적 팀 성과에 미치는 영향

        [Purpose]This study examined team members’ diversity in cognitive abilities based on Gardner’s multiple intelligences(MI) theory would affect team reflexivity(or team members’ reflective activities) and creative team performance. [Methodology]Survey was based on personality data and outcomes of 150 teams(600 students) of undergraduates and MBA students in OB class from 2007 to 2014. This paper could reduce common method bias problem and enhance predictability because the personally measured MI data very difficult to accumulate were used. [Findings]Team cognitive abilities(MI) diversity was found to influence creative team performance. Particularly team members’ reflective activities mediated between MI diversity and creative team performance. Team MI degree didn’t influence reflective activities and creative team performance. [Implications]It is helpful to understand the mechanism of cognitive abilities(MI) diversity, team members’ reflective activities and creative team performance in the perspective of human resources management. [연구목적]본 연구는 다중지능이론을 토대로 구성원들의 인지능력의 프로파일이 다양하고 수준도 차이가 있을 경우 창의적 팀 성과를 향상시키는지에 관한 실증 연구이다. 그리고 팀 성찰 활동은 인지능력 다양성이 창의적 팀 성과에 미치는 효과에 대해 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해 고찰했다. [연구방법]실증분석을 위한 자료는 2007년부터 2014년까지 조직행동론을 수업(학부 및 MBA과정)을 수강한 총 600명(150개 팀)의 인성관련 측정 자료와 성과물을 토대로 한 것이다. 특히 팀 구성원이 직접 측정한 인성적 자료를 활용해 동일방법편의 문제와 평가의 왜곡을 줄이고 예측가능성을 높였다. [연구결과]팀 구성원 인지능력 프로파일과 수준의 차이는 팀 성찰 활동을 매개로 창의적 팀 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이해 비해 팀 구성원의 다중지능의 절대적인 수준은 팀 성찰 활동이나 창의적 팀 성과에 영향을 미치지 못했다. [연구의 시사점]인적 자원 관리 측면에서 다중 지능과 같은 인지적 측면에 대한 이해 및 개인별 차이에 대한 인식을 바탕으로 보다 효과적으로 인적 자원을 활용하고, 각 집단의 특성을 고려한 분별적인 처방도 가능할 것이다. 그리고 팀 성찰 활동을 제고시키는 조건과 방법에 관한 인식의 제고도 필요하다.

        소자 구조에 따른 형광 OLED의 Impedance 특성

        To study the impedance characteristics of a fluorescent OLED according to the device structure, we fabricated Device 1 using ITO / NPB / $Alq_3$ / Liq / Al, Device 2 using ITO / 2-TNATA / NPB / $Alq_3$ / Liq / Al, and Device 3 using ITO / 2-TNATA / NPB / SH-1:BD / $Alq_3$ / Liq / Al. The current density and luminance decreased with an increasing number of layers of the organic thin films in the order of Device 1, 2, 3, whereas the current efficiency increased. From the Cole-Cole plot at a driving voltage of 6 V, the maximum impedance values of Devices 1, 2, and 3 were respectively 51, 108, and $160{\Omega}$ just after device fabrication. An increase in the impedance maximum value is a phenomenon caused by the charge mobility and the resistance between interfaces. With the elapse of time after the device fabrication, the shape of the Cole-Cole plot changed to a form similar to 0 or a lower voltage due to the degradation of the device. As a result, we were able to see that an impedance change in an OLED reflects the characteristics of the degradation and the layer.

        근골격계 질환의 두침치료에 대한 체계적 문헌 고찰과 질 평가: 무작위 배정 대조 임상연구를 중심으로

        Objectives This systematic review aimed to analyze the effectiveness, safety and the reporting quality of scalp acupuncture (SA) treatment for musculoskeletal disease (MSD). Methods Eleven databases were systematically searched up to July 12th 2023. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of SA treatment for MSD were selected manually by the inclusion criteria. The risk of bias of RCTs was assessed using the Cochrane’s Risk of Bias (RoB) 1.0 and the reporting quality of studies was evaluated using Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) 2010 statement and Standards for Reporting Interventions in Clinical Trials of Acupuncture (STRICTA) 2010 checklist. Results Ten clinical studies were met the inclusion criteria. Most of studies reported SA treatment significantly alleviated pain and functional disability of MSD patients and no serious adverse effects were reported. In RoB assessment, blinding of participants and personnel was found to have the highest RoB and allocation concealment was found to have the most unclear RoB. In CONSORT 2010 statement evaluation, all studies reported 15.3 items (41.4%) on average. In STRICTA 2010 checklist evaluation, all studies reported 11.2 items (65.9%) on average. Conclusions The systematic review found that SA treatment may alleviate pain and functional disability of MSD patients and have little severe adverse effect. The reporting quality of included studies was mainly low, therefore, further studies with strict adherence to the CONSORT and STRICTA checklist should be encouraged.         경과 시간에 따른 청색 형광 OLED의 Impedance 특성

        In order to study current-voltage-luminance and impedance characteristics according to elapsed time, a blue fluorescent OLED was fabricated. The current density and luminance gradually decreased in accordance with elapsed time and did not emit light after 480 hours, and the threshold voltage increased as time elapsed. The Cole-Cole plot was a semicircular shape of a very large size at 2 V of the applied voltage below the threshold voltage, and the maximum value of the real number impedance did not change greatly from 9314.5 to 9902.2 Ω as time elapsed. Applied voltages 4, 6, and 8 V above the threshold voltage showed a large change in the real number impedance value at the semicircle end to 9,678.2, 9,826, 9,535.4 Ω according to the elapsed time from 2,222.5, 183.7, 48.2 Ω immediately after fabricating the device. By increasing the applied voltage beyond the threshold voltage just after device fabrication, the energy difference between the device and the organic layer was overcome and the current flowed, the maximum value of the real number impedance sharply decreased. As time passed, current did not flow through the element even at high applied voltage due to degradation of the element, and even when the applied voltage was higher than the threshold voltage, it showed an impedance value such as applied voltage equal to or less than the threshold voltage. As a result, it can be learned that the change in the impedance with elapsed time reflects the characteristics due to the degradation of the OLED and can predict the characteristics and lifetime of the OLED.

        양극 물질에 따른 청색 형광 OLED의 발광 특성

        We studied the blue fluorescent OLED with Mg:Ag, Al, Ni as anode materials. Blue fluorescent OLEDs were fabricated using Anode / MoO3 (3 nm) / 2-TNATA (60 nm) / NPB (30 nm) / SH-1 : BD-2 (5 vol.%, 30 nm) / Bphen (40 nm) / Liq (1 nm) / Al (150 nm). Current density of OLED with Mg:Ag was not measured due to too low work function, and that of OLED with Al showed 45.2 mA/cm<SUP>2</SUP> at 12 V. Luminance and Current efficiency of OLED with Al showed 385.1 cd/m<SUP>2</SUP> and 0.9 cd/A. Current density of OLED with Ni of 8, 10, 12 nm thickness showed 10, 12.9, 37.2 mA/cm<SUP>2</SUP>, respectively. Luminance and Current efficiency of OLED with Ni of 8, 10, 12 nm thickness showed 670.9, 991.2, 1,320 cd/m<SUP>2</SUP> and 6.7, 7.7, 3.6 cd/A, respectively. Transmittance of Al was 52.2% at 476 nm wavelength and that of Ni of 8, 10, 12 nm thickness was 79, 77, 74 %, respectively. In spite of best current density, OLED with Al showed the lowest luminance and current efficiency because of low work function and poor transmittance. When thickness of Ni was increased to 12nm, current efficiency was sharply lower owing to bad transmittance and unbalance of holes and electrons. Finally, OLED with Ni of 10 nm thicknes showed the highest current efficiency.

        Perirenal Lymphangiomatosis

        Lymphangioma is a rare, benign mesenchymal neoplasm, which is characterized by numerous intercommunicating cystic spaces containing lymphatic fluid. It is considered a congenital disease resulting from the obstruction of regional lymph drainage during the developmental period. Lymphangioma may be focal/unilateral or diffuse/bilateral, and in the latter case, it is referred to as lymphangiomatosis. Here, we report a case of a 38-year-old man with perirenal lymphangiomatosis. The patient’s chief complaint was left flank pain, and left pleural effusion was found on radiological examination. After radical nephrectomy, the pathological examinations revealed that the kidney was enclosed by a multicystic mass with intrarenal cystic dilatations. We report the case and discuss the management of perirenal lymphangiomatosis with a literature review.
