        In this ever-changing global economy such as overall opening of trade market including port industries and declarations of tariff free zone, the privatization of port is inevitable to secure the competitive edges. In order to cope with the global economy and to develop into a maritime logistics center in the Northeast Asia, there is a need to establish terminal operational system considering new trade structure and technology environment and set up a long-term plan for port development. The establishment of appropriate system and plan will enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of terminal function. The thesis will provide a guideline to develop the integrated information system for automated container terminal in the future as the customer-oriented and value-for-money system. This guideline will help to work out a vision for strategical information system and operational system, which is expected to enhance the productivity of automated terminal, elevate customer service, and reduce the cost and to make good use of natural resources.

      • TCP/IP를 이용한 빌딩 네트워크 시스템 통합 및 성능 평가

        System Integration is a significant role in building, because it is that the more building systems are integrated, the more they can save management costs and energy costs. Open protocol like BACnet, LonWorks, etc. is used for building system integration. Open protocol is able to execute many connected scenario and improve the building system efficiency, because it is guaranteed interoperability. But, Nowadays building automation system is used together with many open protocol and needed another network equipment for their integration. Integration using these network equipment is set with limits and risen its cost, because these network equipment are gateway that connect each other protocol physically. And Internet is developed very well within the country so that data open protocol, TCP/IP is generally used for building system integration from each facility server to SI server. Consequently it is impossible that building system integration is like one system. Therefore, we propose system integration using Ethernet and TCP/IP that is very well developed open protocol within the country. When data network protocol, TCP/IP is used for control network, there are several problems. But there have been solved by many researches. therefore it is possible that building system integrate to use Ethernet and TCP/IP. Finally, we show that Ethernet and TCP/IP can be used for building automation system integration.

      • 시뮬레이션을 이용한 액화천연가스 운반선용 통합자동화 시스템의 개발

        본 논문에서는 시스템공학의 도구로서 시뮬레이터가 갖는 의미와 개발 및 적용 프로시저에 대한 연구내용을 다루고 있다. 액화천연가스 운반선의 경우 위험화물을 운송하는 특수선의 성격과 하부시스템과의 복잡한 인터페이스로 인해 제어시스템을 위한 아키텍팅의 중요성이 크게 강조되고 있다. 이런 특수한 요건과 복잡성이 극대화되어 있는 시스템의 개발에 있어 발생할 수 있는 위험도를 감소시키고 제품의 검증을 위한 수단이 필요하였으며, 선박건조 공정에 맞춘 실시간적 지원과 검증의 도구를 지원하고 제어시스템의 개발에 따른 수정 및 반복작업을 최소화하기 위한 노력으로, 시뮬레이터 및 프로토타입을 제작하였다. 액화천연가스 운반선용 제어시스템의 핵심기술을 위주로 재편성된 프로토타입과 수학적모델을 근간으로 제작된 시뮬레이터는 개발과정에서 제품 개발 담당자들의 참여와 설계인원의 공동작업으로 실시되었으며, 이 과정에서 제어시스템의 요건의 검출과 기능의 정의뿐 아니라, 선박시스템의 설계의 검증이 이루어졌다. 또한 이렇게 개발된 시뮬레이터를 본선 시스템과 연결하여 최종 검사를 수행함으로써 제품의 시험도구로서 사용되었으며, 추후 선박을 운항 할 운전자와 시운전 요원을 상대로 교육을 실시하고, 실제 시운전의 절차를 시연함으로써 제품에 대한 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있는 기회가 되었고 실제 시운전 시 반복작업을 최소화함으로써 시간과 비용을 절감하는 효과가 발생하였다. 이러한 프로토타입과 시뮬레이터를 이용한 시스템의 동시공학적 개발은 시스템의 수명주기를 통하여 시스템의 요건의 분석과 평가, 기능 및 거동의 분석 설계의 최적화, 설계의 입증 및 검증, 그리고 나아가 프로젝트의 관리와 영업 활동의 지원의 도구로 사용되는 등 중요한 역할을 수행하였고, 이런 수명주기에 걸친 시스템공학 도구의 지원으로 성공적인 프로제트를 완료할 수 있었다. Simulation-based approach for LNG Carrier automation system In recent years, the demand of LNGC (Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier) is increased, but it is difficult to get a LNGC related market except well-proven shipyards and manufacturers caused by the requirements, e.g. the restriction caused by the hazardous cargo transport, the ultra-quality of sub-systems, the maintainability longer than two decades and the reliability against an emergency. Moreover, in case of the control system. even though many products have been proven in other vessels, off-and on-shore complex, the manufacturers who have an experience related LNGC are so rare, therefore the market is exclusive to maintain their market share. As the result, the challengers cannot introduce their new system in the LNGC control system market against the matured competitor. The tendency of LNGC automation market increases the price extraordinary, stagnates the technology over than two decades, and excludes the requirement issued by stakeholders. A new paradigm using an open-architecture of DCS for the control system is issued to satisfy all stakeholders, e.g. a lower cost of construction, easy to operate and maintenance, and enhancement the overall safety. But, even though the system vendors well know the their system technically and satisfy the system performance, it is difficult for them to get a competitive force, because the control system operates under the complex interfaces among sub-systems according to the pre-defined scenarios accurately. If there is no consideration about the concurrent approach to verify and validate the new development, users may doubt its reliability, availability and maintainability without any considering of performance. It can be easily understood that all these anxieties become magnified when the system is installed in the first project of LNG carrier. A Task Force Team to develop new control system is organized with engineers from several disciplines, and a prototype and a simulator are developed by them to verify and validate the product, to identify the estimated risks for the test stage with the LNG carrier project con-currently. The prototype is implemented based on the core function, and the simulator is developed based on the mathematical models under the cooperation of development engineers and design engineers. During this phase, it is possible to find the requirements and define the function and to verify the LNG carrier design elements. Also the simulator plays a roll as the test facility by carrying out the final on-board, provides a chance to educate operators and to convict the product by the full demonstration according to the test procedure. Also it shortens the commissioning period and reduces the overall cost with minimized repeated test item. The prototype and simulator as a systems engineering tool with the concurrent approach played an important roll through the system's life cycle, for example, requirement analysis and assessment, function and behavior analysis, design optimizing, and verify and validate design, lately it is using as a method of project management and business support tools. The followings show the major tasks and advantages of the simulator according to the product life cycle. The requirement analysis and assessment The major jobs of engineers have a relationship with simulation to determine the operability. At this moment, a good understanding about the system is an advantage to determine whether the requirement is correct. In general, same as the breakdown structure of the system, the simulation and modeling levels shall be deepen in detail with the project development phase enough to evaluate the requirements. The function and behavior analysis A good understanding on the system's dynamic behavior, the characteristics of the process, the interface among the sub-systems, operations, and the safety requirements, successfully develop and optimize functions and scenarios compliant with all requirements. Design and system Optimizing In order to proceed the design phase properly, the development team has to define the crucial design variables to be optimized. The simulation test campaign provides a tool to find effective control strategies, analyze the sensitivities of related variable, assess interaction between control loops and processes, and compare with other alternatives, because the simulation method provides the virtual system architecture with lower cost than the physical one. Also a challenge is issued after system delivered to improve the process and reduce operation cost, the simulator can be used as a tool to assess alternatives. The verify and validate design As the level of integration in a control system is increased, many problems of developers are occurred caused by increased complexity. Because the system includes many different component types and technologies, the new paradigm is more difficult to design. In order to induce a positive answer to the outstanding issues, which were mainly raised for reliability, operability and safety due to the first-shot product, a simulation test campaign introduces solutions to verify and validate the control system at on-board and laboratory. Test As the functions of control system are inter-related, test of the control system requires enormous time and effort. To avoid the loss caused by the intangible functions, the test procedure is improved, and the preliminary test was carried out during at the test phase using the simulator and prototype. Also it can reduce the trial time that preliminarily controller parameters were tuned using the simulator. By checking the control function during the campaign, any errors can be found and rectified beforehand. It is possible to avoid the risks of the commissioning time delay due to the repeated corrections and adjustments for the control system. Project management It is possible to identify the risky points of the product by the system analysis as a roll of simulation. According to the analysis, the project manager can concentrate the manpower on the point. Training Operators can be trained and familiarized with the control system using the simulator prior th the mission at on-board. Even though the best way to train operators is the OJT (On the Job Training), but that is not an efficient method, because the OJT in sea-going LNGC would be difficult to carrying out most demonstration of emergency condition. Therefore the simulator with the prototype is an efficient solution to train operator including emergency drill, control system and vessel's concept. Decision tool A simulation of the LNG carrier scenario, e.g. start-up, shut-down, low-mid- and max range operation, provides an effective demonstration to determine a optimized process related with cost and time. Also the simulation provides a common feature among the stakeholders, when the system architecture is not clear. Therefore the stakeholders can proceed their task under the common sense and choose the best alternative. Supporting business The LNGC Project using the simulator is successfully completed, also LNGC Integrated Automation System, got a name value in the market. Therefore the LNGC Project developer can approach the market with superior product, and get the control system with lower price than other competitor, because the open architecture based system increases the quality of equipments delivered from sub-vender. In addition, the core technologies of LNG developed by them satisfy the users who want to implement the control system according their pattern.

      • 地下鐵構造物 施工중 計測의 效率화 方案에 關한 硏究

        지하철구조물 공사와 같이 대규모이면서 주요 구조물에 인접하여 시공하는 공사 현장의 경우 안전이 최우선이므로 이를 위해 여러 가지 조치와 공법을 사용하지만, 현장 여건과 인적 요인으로 인해 위험요소는 언제나 상존해 있다. 이에 대한 계획을 효과적으로 수립하고 공사 단계별로 지속적인 안전을 도모하기 위해서는 공사 중 계측관리가 필연적이다. 하지만, 종래의 수동계측으로는 광범위하게 현장에 설치된 계측기기를 계측하여 결과를 파악하기에는 막대한 시간과 인력이 소모되고 신속한 대책을 기대할 수 없었다. 따라서, 이에 대한 대책으로서 Computer를 통해 실시간 계측을 수행하며, 그 결과를 모니터로 신속하게 확인할 수 있고 일정 시간간격에 따라 지속적인 계측이 가능한 자동화 계측시스템의 개발이 요구된다. 자동화 계측시스템은 현장여건으로 인해 접근이 어려운 곳이나 기후의 변화 및 현장 여건상 즉각적인 계측을 수행할 수 없을 때에 매우 효과적이다. 또한, 기존의 주요 구조물에 인접하여 시공하는 현장에서 계측빈도 조절 및 지속적인 계측을 하는데 있어서, 공사 중이나 완공 후에도 이에 따른 영향을 원거리에서 네트워크를 통해 자동화 계측을 실시함으로써, 변위 유무를 수치로 파악하고 계측에 대한 신뢰도를 증대시키며, 계측결과의 분석 및 FEM 해석을 통하여 구조물의 거동 등을 예측할 수 있는 정보화 시공이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 최근 계측관리가 가장 활발히 수행되고 있는 지하철 9호선 공사현장의 각 공구별 계측관리 상태를 평가하고, 공사 중 발생되는 문제점을 최근 발전된 IT산업의 접목으로 기존 자동화계측시스템을 Upgrade한 무선기반 인터넷 통합 계측관리시스템을 구축함으로써, 공사 중 중요구간에 지하철구조물의 이상 변위 및 자연재해 등에 의해 발생할 수 있는 재난을 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. At the construction site such as subway structure construction in which the construction is large-sized and conducted close to a major structure, safety is the most important concern. To secure safety, diverse actions and techniques are used but there are always hazardous factors due to site circumstances and human factors. In order to establish plans to prevent hazardous factors effectively and secure persistent safety in each stage of construction, measurement control is essential in the process of construction. However, in using existing manual measurement methods, considerable time and manpower are required for analyzing results from the measuring instruments installed on site and as a result, rapid reaction cannot be expected. Therefore, development of an automatic measuring system is required that can implement real-time measurements by using a computer and can confirm the results on the computer immediately; and furthermore, can record continuous measurements at certain intervals. An automatic measuring system is very effective for a place where the approach is difficult due to site circumstances or for the time when immediate measuring cannot be implemented due to changes in climate or site circumstances. Further, at a construction site that is conducted close to a major structure, computerized construction is possible by implementing automatic measuring of the influence during and after construction through a distant network. Through computerized construction, you can check figures if there is any displacement, enhance reliability of the measurements, and predict behaviors of construction through analysis of measurement results and FEM analysis. This study has incorporated plans to effectively manage disasters that might occur in the major zones during construction due to abnormal displacement and natural disasters occurring to the subway structure. It was conducted by evaluating the measurement control status of each construction zone at the construction site of Subway Line 9. This is where measurement control has been conducted most actively and where the building of the wireless Internet-integrated measuring management system, that being the upgraded automatic measuring system of the existing one, has been accomplished by combining with recent IT industry.

      • Fulfillment System 방식을 적용한 통합 통신판매 운영시스템의 설계 및 구현

        불과 몇 년 전까지만 해도 국내 통신판매 업체에서의 일반적인 운영방식은 여러 가지 다양한 시스템 환경을 적용하기 조차 필요 없을 정도로 단순하였다.하지만 급변하는 통신기술과 컴퓨터 운영환경의 발전으로, 이제 통신판매 업체들은 새로운 운영방식과 통신환경에 발 맞추어 변화되지 않으면 자연 도태될 수 밖에 없는 시기를 접하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 현 국내외 통신판매시장에 대한 구체적이고 상세한 현황분석을 통하여 현재 및 앞으로 나아갈 방향에 대한 방안으로 Fulfillment System방식을 적용한 통신판매 통합 시스템을 구현하였다. Fulfillment System방식이란, 고객 DataBase, 상품정보관리, 주문접수, 민원관리, 물류, 배송, 고객서비스 등이 연계되어 모든 작업이 한번의 처리수행으로, 순차적인 순환작업으로서 운영되도록 하는 시스템 방식을 말하며, 이에 관계형 데이터베이스와 객체지향 프로그래밍 기법의 장점을 최대한 이용하여 앞으로 전자상거래 등에서의 그 효용가치가 매우 높은 판매유통 시스템으로 응용될 수 있다고 본다. 고객의 전화를 통한 기존의 주문수주 방식은 물론 인터넷상의 쇼핑-몰을 이용한 자동주문접수 방식까지, 포괄적으로 연계하여 운영할 수 있도록 하였으며 이를 바탕으로 구축된 데이터베이스를 이용하여 각종 고객정보 및 운영집계정보, 판매상품의 자동재고 처리와 거래처에 대한 자금관리 등, 철저한 분석을 통한 자동화 통합 시스템으로 설계하였다. 지속적인 유지보수와 추가모듈 개발에 손쉬운 개발방법으로서, 프로그래밍 작성 Tool언어로는 MS Visual Basic6.0을 이용하였으며, 중소규모의 통신판매업체에서 실제 설치 운영하기 위한 비용적인 측면을 고려하여 DB Server 를 위한 OS 및 데이터베이스로는 Linux(알짜 레드헷 6.0)와 Linux에서 기본적으로 제공하는 DB-Package PostgreSQL을 사용하여 설계 및 구축하였다. Up until a few years ago, the general way of administering Korea's domestic communication sales' business remained simple, even easy to maintain without the need for the application of various system environments. However, as the development of new communication technology rapidly grows, it is also changing. Therefore, if communication sales' businesses can not come up with new ways of administering in step with the rapid growth and change of communication environments, then it is time for the demise of such businesses. This thesis presents a concrete, detailed present condition analysis of present and future directions for the plan and application of the fulfillment system methods in the present domestic communication sales market. A fulfillment system is what is designed to be operated one after another where the user can manage all the works like management of product information, requisition of orders, management of civil appeal, management of distribution, management of delivering, client management, etc., at a process. The method can therefore be used for selling and distributing system which is most valuable in the electronic commerce because the system adopted the merits of object relational database management system and object oriented programming. The system is designed to be applicable to an internet ordering form as well as a classical ordering by phone. And the user can construct an integrated automatic system by analyzing the database obtained by application the fulfillment system. The program is written by the MS Visual Basic 6.0 which is efficient for maintaining and updating the program, and I adopted the Linux(Alzza RedHat) and the attached DB-Package PostgreSQL for OS and database for the DB Server because it is beneficial for its cost

      • Shape optimization of railway wheel web considering braking condition using integrated automation system

        In this study, shape optimization of the railway wheel web was carried out to reduce the damages caused by repeated rolling contact between the wheel and rail. First, thermo-mechanical analysis of the braking situation was performed considering the mechanical load due to the weight of the train and thermal load due to the friction heat, and the contact pressure and stress were obtained. By applying the integrated automation system including the morphing technique, which directly modifies a finite element model without returning to the CAD, repetitive analysis tasks were performed automatically to improve the efficiency. Based on the results, the response surface method (RSM) and the Kriging were generated, and 2D optimization under axisymmetric conditions, and 3D optimization in which the shape changed in the period of 60° were sequentially performed using the micro-genetic algorithm (micro-GA). The verification simulations of the approximate optimal solutions were carried out and the improved wheel was presented. 본 연구에서는 철도 차륜과 레일의 반복적인 구름접촉으로 인해 차륜 답면에 발생하는 손상을 저감하기 위하여 차륜 웹부의 형상최적화를 수행하였다. 먼저 차량의 무게에 의한 기계적 하중과 레일과의 마찰에 의한 열 하중을 고려하여 제동 상황에 대한 열-구조해석을 수행하고 차륜에서 발생하는 접촉압력과 응력을 도출하였다. 형상최적화 과정의 효율성을 높이기 위해 CAD 형상이 아닌 유한요소 모델을 바로 수정하는 모핑 기법을 포함한 통합적 자동화 시스템을 적용하여 반복해석 작업을 자동으로 수행하였다. 해석 결과를 바탕으로 반응표면법과 크리깅 근사모델을 생성하고 마이크로 유전알고리즘을 사용하여 차륜이 축 대칭 형상을 유지하는 2차원 최적화와 60° 를 주기로 형상이 바뀌는 3차원 최적화를 차례로 수행하였다. 이를 통해 차륜 웹부 형상의 근사최적해를 도출하고 유한요소 해석을 사용한 검증을 통해 개선된 차륜 형상을 제시하였다.
