        현대 실내공간에서의 New Simplicity에 대한 연구

        The change in radically changing era requires various interpretation of interior space and application according to it Minimalism shows simple and pure geometric structure and has been influencing to every aspect encompassing space till present. The features of minimalism in space is geometric structure and composition of simple and repetitive line, restrained simple space, pure and structural simplicity. When minimalism construction is discussed, the vocabulary of simplicity has been followed incidentally and has been discussed as concept of simplicity in new viewpoint through historical flow. The purpose of this study is analyzing basic features of John Pawson’s ways of working and trying to define the semantics of the new simplicity concept in modern interior space. The new simplicity in John Pawson shows interactive relationship of eastern and western through basic consideration of fundamental elements such as space, light and materials. The relational simple in intermediation of the new simplicity expressed by amalgamation of eastern and western further from disparate interpretation for simplicity expressed in eastern and western is to review back the basic meaning of simplicity in minimalism. And I hope this study can offer various directions for new interior space accepting theory of the new simplicity and I think that new constructional alternative is required as physical space which can be matched with era of social, environmental chaos caused by this theory of the new simplicity.

        The Influence of Consumption Values and Materialism/Voluntary Simplicity on Attitudes Toward Eco-Friendly Fashion Products -A Study of College Students in Seoul-

        As interest in the environment increases, consumers increasingly choose to buy products with eco-friendly production processes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of consumption values and materialism/voluntary simplicity on the attitudes and purchase intentions toward eco-friendly fashion products. A survey of university students in Seoul was conducted and 203 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. The consumption values consisted of six factors: subjective value, novelty value, social value, brand value, practical value, and health/safety value. Materialism/voluntary simplicity was grouped into two factors of materialism pursuit and voluntary simplicity pursuit. Brand values were found to negatively affect attitudes toward eco-friendly fashion products. The more one pursued brand names, the more negative was one’s attitude toward eco-friendly fashion products. Health/safety values had a positive effect on purchase intentions for eco-friendly fashion products and voluntary simplicity pursuit had a positive effect on both attitudes and purchase intentions. The materialist group had high subjective value, novelty value, social value, and brand value among the consumption values, and the voluntary simplicity-seeking group tended to pursue the value of health and safety. This study was meaningful in that it identified the characteristics of consumers showing favorable attitudes toward eco-friendly fashion products.

      • 육우(陸羽) `검(儉)의 철학`의 인성교육적 의미

        인성교육은 인성의 정의와 그것의 교육 가능성, 그리고 그 구체적인 방법과 평가 등의 다양한 요소들을 포함하는 작업이다. 인성교육은 인간의 본질을 이해하고, 어떻게 살아야 하는가에 대한 지혜를 밝히는 것이 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구는 육우의 `검(儉)의 철학`이 인성교육에 적용될 수 있는 가능성을 타진하였다. 특히 육우의 『다경(茶經)』에 나타난 육우의 인성에 대한 태도를 도출하여 그것의 인성교육적인 의미를 모색하였다. 육우가 생각하는 차의 도는 `검덕(儉德)`과 `정행(精行)`으로 요약된다. 검덕은 내면적 덕성으로서 검성의 태도와 길흉을 초극하는 성숙한 인품을 지향케 한다. 정행은 외면적 윤리로서 인간들 사이에 중정(中正)에 바탕한 화경(和敬)의 `관계`를 설정케 한다. 따라서 육우의 검의 철학은 인성교육의 이념을 제공하는 데에 충분한 조건을 갖추고 있다. Character education involves a variety of elements, such as the definition of character education, and educability, as well as concrete methods and evaluation. Understanding the essence of humanity and wisdom in terms of how we should live is needed for character education. This study examined the possibility of whether Luyu`s philosophy of simplicity and humbleness can be applied to character education. In particular, the implication of Luyu`s character education is inferred by extracting his attitude toward character from his book of Cha-Ching. The philosophy of tea to Luyu can be summarized as `virtue of simplicity` and `sincere behavior.` The virtue of simplicity, as an internal virtue, orients toward a mature character of an attitude of introspection and surmounting the good and bad of human affairs. Sincere behavior as external ethics aims to establish a harmonious and respectful relationship based on fairness among humans. Luyu`s philosophy of simplicity and humbleness provides a character educational ideology with high quality.

        라이트의 유기적 단순성 이론과 상자의 파괴의 방식에 대한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to reveal that Frank Lloyd Wright’s “the Destruction of the Box” is related to “Organic Simplicity” through examining his early prairie houses. Wright’s architectural concept which started from “Simplicity” was ultimately to create organic spaces. In order to achieve Organic Simplicity which means a structure that became a form, the notions of Plasticity and Continuity were applied. They were realized with the development of the structural materials. Wright who regarded space more importantly than matter tried to destroy the conventional box in order to make organic spaces to be the part of the nature. The wall-as-screen which was made by destroying the corner allowed the horizontal expansion. There were two ways for the box to be destroyed: grafting and overlapping. In detail, it can be classified as one, two, or three dimension. With wall-as-screen, grafted or overlapped spaces became empty and integrated into a single space.

        어린이문학의 특성과 어린이문학의 생활화

        Traditionally, Reflections on literature concerned with not a nature of literature itself but the effect of literature on the human mind. Then Literature instruction, also, has to focus on the function of literature. It's main problematic is to promote human's mind and life. This monograph aims to exploration of literary function as an objective of literature instruction and the characteristics of children's literature. On the basis of this exploration, it will seek to concrete ways for the promotion of cultural practice's width and depth within the children's literature. The function of literature is threefold. These are an understanding of life's totality, refining of the imagination, estimating of ideological value-laden practice. And the nature of children's literature is reviewed two facets in content and form. In content, the children's literature is focused on the 'discovery of childhood', that is concretized through the enlighten, ideality, reality. In farm, the children's literature is based on the simplicity. But its implication is not contrary to the complexity but articularity. On the basis of such a discussion, finally, this monograph suggests the various ways to the occupation Practising Literature of literature.

        텍스트마이닝을 활용한 미니멀리즘 분석

        Minimalism, which refers to an artistic trend that seeks to simplify form and reduce it to its essence, has recently been expanded as a concept to imply a lifestyle that reduces consumption and pursues a simple life. Even before minimalism became popular, academia named the tendency to moderate consumption and pursue a simple life as voluntary simplicity, and have steadily conducted related research. Although minimalism and voluntary simplicity are similar, opinions among scholars vary regarding the motivation for pursuing them and whether the concepts are consistent. Accordingly, this study crawled blog posts containing minimalism and examined them using textmining techniques to check the key words and topics related to minimalism and the consistency of concepts between minimalism and voluntary simplicity. The results of analyzing 3,234 minimalism-related blog posts on Naver using the R program are as follows. First, as a result of frequency analysis, the words with high frequency are ‘thought’, ‘people’, ‘space’, ‘use’, ‘time’, ‘design’, ‘decluttering’, ‘interior’, ‘stuff’, ‘we’ in that order. Among the high-frequency words, minimalism is frequently used in housing life through words such as space, interior, and it is tied to resource management through words such as use, time, and objects. Minimalism is still used in the art/design field, but is now more frequently used as a lifestyle term than as an art and design term. Second, as a result of conducting a network analysis on words with a frequency of more than 300 times, it was found that the node size was large in the order of ‘time’, ‘use’, ‘need’, ‘start’, ‘mind’, and ‘space’. This word played a central role in minimalism-related posts was related to lifestyle. It can be seen that the lifestyle is major theme in recent minimalism. Third, as a result of analyzing the main topics through topicmodeling, minimalism includes art/aesthetics, product attributes, fashion, dietary life, space/interior, advertising for moving/organization services, consumption and decluttering, travel, goal setting and introspection, and cosmetics. Minimalism has been largely used in the areas of art/design and consumption/lifestyle. Environmental-related content does not appear as an important topic, so it can be inferred that minimalism is motivated by personal reflection or profit rather than interest in the environment. 형태를 단순화하고 본질로 환원하려는 예술 사조를 의미하는 미니멀리즘은 최근 개념이 확장되어 소비를 줄이고 간소한 삶을추구하는 생활방식을 함의한다. 미니멀리즘이 대중적으로 유행하기 전부터 학계에서는 소비를 절제하고, 소박한 삶을 추구하는경향을 자발적 간소화로 명명하여 관련 연구를 꾸준히 진행해 왔다. 미니멀리즘과 자발적 간소화는 유사하지만 추구 동기와 개념일치 여부를 두고 학자들간 의견이 다양하다. 이에 본 연구는 미니멀리즘이 포함된 블로그 게시글을 크롤링하여 텍스트마이닝기법으로 살펴봄으로써 미니멀리즘 관련 주요어와 주제, 자발적 간소화와의 개념 일치 여부를 확인하고자 하였다. 네이버 블로그에 게시된 미니멀리즘 관련 글 3,234개를 R 프로그램으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 빈도분석 결과 빈도가 높은 단어는 생각, 사람, 공간, 사용, 시간, 디자인, 정리, 인테리어, 물건, 우리 순으로 나타났다. 빈도가높은 단어 중 공간, 인테리어, 정리 같은 단어를 통해 미니멀리즘은 주생활 관련 글에 자주 사용되며, 사용, 시간, 물건 같은 단어를통해 자원 관리와 결부되어 있음을 유추할 수 있다. 미니멀리즘은 예술/디자인 영역에서 여전히 사용되고 있으나 현재는 예술 및 디자인보다 라이프스타일 관련 용어로 더욱 빈번하게 사용되었다. 둘째, 빈도가 300회 이상인 단어를 대상으로 네트워크 분석을 실시한 결과, 시간, 사용, 필요, 시작, 마음, 공간 순으로 노드 크기가큰 것으로 나타나 미니멀리즘 관련 글에서 라이프스타일 관련 단어가 핵심임을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 토픽모델링으로 주요 주제를 분석한 결과, 미니멀리즘은 예술/미학, 제품 속성, 패션, 식생활, 공간/인테리어, 이사/정리서비스광고, 소비와 정리정돈, 여행, 목표 설정 및 성찰, 화장품을 포함하는 전체 10개의 토픽으로 구분되며, 크게 예술/디자인 영역과 소비/라이프스타일 영역으로 양분할 수 있다. 환경 관련 내용은 중요한 주제로 나타나지 않아 미니멀리즘은 환경에 대한 관심보다 개인적인 성찰이나 이익에 의해 동기가 유발됨을 유추할 수 있다.

        노장사상의 관점으로 본 민살풀이춤의 미학적 고찰- 허정지심虛靜之心을 中心으로 -

        This research looks into the aesthetic characteristics in Gobneo-Jo's category Minsalpuli dance focusing on the asthetics of 'quiet‘ in calm and quiet heart which is one of the Laotzu's philosophy. Gobneo-Jo's category Minsalpuli dance is a dance which one feels like dancing when he stands still. and dance relaxing to form a circle to connect to the nature. The highlight of Minsalpui dance is keeping calm and holding breathe to ensure that characteristic of resettability, empty and absentmindedness could back to human's basic - breathe of universe. The following analysis is the aesthetic characteristics found in the dance in accordance to LaoTzu’s philosophy angle. Firstly, Minsalpuli dance shows the beauty of simplicity. LaoTzu’s aesthetics excludes worldly aesthetics and aimes at less materialistics. ; just like the meaning of 'simplicity' of doing nothing, being natural and simple. It defines Minsalpuli dance’s vitality as beauty of simplicity. Therefore as in-born characteristics is the best explanation of The truth of inaction nature "doing noticing is natural principle" in LaoTzu’s philosophy. We could find the principle of arts' spirit though the simplicity of Minsalpuli dance expressed by the dancer. Secondly, Minsalpuli dance shows the beauty of the chastity. The beauty of the dance is the spirit of the dancer and the dance movement which cannot be seen fully. It doesn't mean that the folk dance will stop, but the movement of standing still shows the beauty of chastity. Thirdly, Minsalpuli dance shows beauty of flat flavor, naturaliness. The dance expressed one's life journey and happiness, anger, sadness by the spirit of naturalness implies in calm movement, It is a folk dance which pursues the performances of being plain, simple and calm and present to the beauty of the tradition.

        국어지식 교육의 자리매김과 그 원리

        본 연구에서는 국어지식 교육이 의사소통 활동과 함께 가르쳐야 하고 그럴 때에만 국어지식 교육이 효과적이라는 점을 강조하였다. 국어지식 교육을 의사소통 활동에 묶어서 다루어야 하는 이유를 언어 지식의 본질과 인간 활동의 여러 측면과 관련지어 언급하였다. 특히 의사소통 활동을 통한 국어지식의 습득이 인간의 목적 지향적인 활동과 밀접한 관련이 있음을 강조하였다. 그러면서 형태소, 어휘를 예로 들어 국어지식 교육의 필요성을 언급하였다. 국어지식 교육의 내용을 마련하는 원리로 단계성과 실용성, 일관성, 간결성을 제시하였다. 단계성에 따른 국어지식 교육의 내용은 무표적인 쓰임에서 유표적인 쓰임을 가르치는 방향으로 나아가거나 빈도가 높은 현상에서 빈도가 낮은 현상으로 마련될 수 있다. 실용성은 실제 의사소통 과정에서 소용되는 지식을 중심으로 구성하는 것인데 문장의 기능에 대한 지식을 예로 들 수 있다. 간결성은 동일한 현상을 가르치는 데 가장 합리적이고 경제적인 설명을 가르침의 대상으로 삼아야 한다는 것으로 단어 형성에 대한 지식을 예로 들었다. 아울러 문장 구조와 중의적인 명사구, 다의어의 통사구조 변동에 대하여 논항 구조를 중심으로 논의하여 보았다. 일관성은 동일한 대상이나 현상에 대하여 통일된 해석을 제공하는 것으로 전체 문법 체계의 기술에서 어긋나지 않아야 함을 조사를 예로 들어 논의하였다. In this study, I have argued that Korean language knowledge (henceforth, KLK) instruction should be accomplished in accordance with communication activity and if and only if it were, it would be effective. One of the reasons which we teach KLK in the communication context is that the use of language is closely related to the human activity which is goal-oriented. So, KLK is ought to be served as source for man to act. It is well supported we look up examples vein from morpheme knowledge and lexis. As a principles of content setting, I have proposed four criteria: progressive procedure, authenticity, consistencyand simplicity. Progressive procedure means KLK education might start from unmarked or typical grammatical phenomena. Or, it may introduce a learner highly frequent grammatical phenomena initially. KLK education must be composed of real knowledge needed to actual communication in terms of authenticity. In the situation whensimilar phenomena are in need of being taught, as in the case of teaching word formation, simplicity principle is criterion for the most economic and rational account for them. Similarly the structure of sentence might be instructed according to argument structure for the sake of simplicity. Consistency means an account of a linguistic phenomenon should not violate the whole grammar system.

        아르보 페르트의 <프라트레스>(Fratres)에 나타난 음악 양식과 작곡기법

        Arvo Part is one of the most representative figure in widely performed modern music and has a public popularity among contemporary composers. His influence is not only limited in classical music but extended in film and mass media as a standard repertoire. In 1976, He highlighted the basic manner of "tintinnabuli (Latin for Sounding bell)" technique with Fur Alina after a long silence period. This extraordinary and unexpected composing technique stimulates inner fullness with silence and ringing effect in acoustic environment which results spiritualism and new simplicity. His music is challenging, direct and simply expressed but its implicit lyricism often comes up an "intimacy" to audience, and brought on artistry and popularity. This article analyses Fratres fur Violine, Streichorchester und Schlagzeug for research on his tintinnabuli, musical style and compositional technique. This music is in two parts, the first part is played by unaccompanied violin solo with cadenza style combined with minimalism, and the second part is passacaglia and seven variations with violin solo, percussion and string orchestra. In this work, minimalism and neoclassicism are systematically combined with tintinnabuli technique. According to observation, his "new simplicity" with tintinnabuli is derived from combinations of several elements which are in the followings. 1) M-voice is constructed with four types of diatonic scales. 2) T-voice is started with simple triads and then is gradually expanded. 3) M-voice is always comprised on a pitch center with ascending and descending motion. Therefore, every note is facing on a pitch center even if modes are altered. M-voice, a role of melodic line, always moves in stepwise motions, so the main melodies produce vocal quality of melodic lines in the lowest pitch of triads in violin solo at the first part, and the same is true in the theme of passacaglia at the second part of music even if this music is in instrumental piece. Indeed, melodic lines produce both two paths of lyricism and simplicity which are simultaneously appearing. Therefore, singable, memorable melodic lines give an intimacy to audience. In this research, the characteristics of neoclassicism and minimalism manifest in Fratres. However, he applied those styles with his new formal principle which is comprised with additive of beats, use of added tone, mixture of M-voice and T-voice, confliction of two mode, transformation of thematic line in passacaglia. Especially, melodic line is extremely emphasized among on repetitive triads in minimalism, added tone and mixture of modes for polarity is superimposed with basic manner of titinnanuli technique. In his music we are able to find many compositional techniques and styles of western music such as minimalism with repetition of triads and specific patterns, usage of polarity in neoclassicism, Neo-Renaissance with configuration method of M-voice, Neo-Baroque with passacaglia and even medieval technique of palindrome. His music reflects many compositional techniques of former eras but he did not simply follow their styles. He combined it with his new method of titinnabuli so each traditional styles are reborn with his own style and originality.

        1950년대 안동민의 라디오동화 연구

        이 글은 1950년대 안동민의 라디오동화를 통해 당시 어린이방송의 저변과 라디오동화의 특징적 면모를 살피는 데 목적을 두었다. 안동민은 서울중앙방송국 <어린이시간> 담당자였던 한용희의 추천으로 라디오동화 창작에 힘쓰게 되었다. 드물게 라디오동화를 묶어 『이상한 꿈』을 출간했던 작가의 작품은 현재 10편의 단편동화가 문헌으로 남겨져 있다. 당시 다른 매체에 발표했던 기존 작품을 방송한 사례가 비일비재했던 까닭에 그의 라디오동화를 모두 순수 창작물로 단정 짓기는 힘들다. 이러한 관행은 라디오동화의 질적ㆍ양정 성장에 걸림돌로 작용했던 것으로 보인다. 안동민의 라디오동화가 지닌 특징적 면면을 살펴보면, 첫째, 라디오매체에 걸맞은 문학형식을 갖추고 있지 않다는 점이다. 안동민의 라디오동화들은 활자매체에 발표된 동화와 다름없다. 그것이 활자매체로 전환되는 과정에서 빚어진 결과인지 아니면 열악한 창작환경에서 방송대본의 형식을 따로 두지 않았던 것인지 가능성을 열어둘 수밖에 없다. 둘째, 안동민은 라디오동화의 창작원리로 '동심'에 주목하고 있다. 동심은 "어린이의 눈을 통해서" 획득 가능한, 즉 어린이의 순수를 표상한다. 창작이 그러한 동심을 획득한 작가의 몫이라면, 수용은 그 동심을 공유할 수 있는 어린이와 어른을 위한 것으로 본다. 셋째, 라디오동화의 창작방법으로 단순성 확보에 주력했다. 단순성은 주 청취자인 어린이의 접근성과 이해도를 높이기 위한 방편이자 어린이문학의 외적 자질이다. 우화 형식에 비해 다른 서사형식의 라디오동화들은 공명을 지향하는 단순성을 획득하는 데 그리 성공적이지 못했다. 넷째, 어린이의 규준을 이끌어내는 계몽주의적 성격을 강하게 드러내었다. 작중인물은 작가의 계몽적 의도를 전달하는 매개 장치로 존재했으며, 이때 작가는 계몽적 관찰자로서 '착한 어린이'를 규준으로 삼고 있었다. '착한 어린이'는 어린이의 순수를 간직한 이상적 어린이상으로 간주되었다. 이는 당시 국영방송의 경직된 운영지침과 어린이교육에 대한 관심, 그리고 <어린이시간>에 깊이 관여했던 강소천의 영향 등이 복합된 결과로 보인다. 이렇듯 안동민은 당대 창작환경에 조응하여 라디오동화 창작에 부심한 흔적을 역력히 보여주었으나, 문학적 성과는 편차가 컸다. This study aims at examining the base of children's broadcasting and the characteristics of radio fairy tales through the children's stories on the radio written by An Dong-min in the 1950s. He first created fairy tales for radio broadcast on the recommendation of Han Yong-hui who was in charge of <Children's Time> at Seoul Central Broadcasting Station. This seemed to have resulted from the increasing reputation of Han Yong-hei as a radio novelist when the broadcasting conditions in the mid-1950s improved while writers for radio literary works continued to lose ground. An Dong-min, however, had hard time in creating children's stories for radio programs. Though uncommon, his radio stories were published in a book titled "Strange Dream", and ten of his short fairy tales are currently available for reference. Back then, existing literary works which had already been introduced in other media were broadcast most of the time, so not all of his radio stories for children can be seen as a pure literary creation. This literary creation and broadcasting practice at the time must have been an obstacle for both qualitative and quantitative growth of children's stories broadcast on the radio. As to the unique characteristics of radio fairy tales by An Dong-min, his works did not comply with literary styles for radio broadcasting. As opposed to Park Eui-seop's broadcast script in the 1930s, which were close to radio drama, his radio stories were almost same with fairy tales published in the print media. Whether this was the result of the transition to the print media or there was no specific format for broadcast script under the unfavorable creative environment at the time remains an open question. Second, he focused on the innocence of children for a principle of his radio fairy tale creation. This represents the purity of children, which can be obtained only 'through children's eyes.' It is up to the writer to get the childlike innocence in creating literary works, which should be received by both children and adults. Third, he emphasized simplicity in creating radio fairy tales. In order to increase the accessibility and understanding of children, the main listers, he clearly presented a story which describes how a simple conflict is resolved. Simplicity, one of the qualities that children's literature has, is used to resonate, but children's stories on the radio, compared to fables, were not that successful in achieving the simplicity. Fourth, his works were strongly enlightening by guiding the listeners to children's criteria. The characters in his radio fairly tales were used as a medium to deliver his purpose of educating children, where the writer, as an enlightening observer, considered a 'good child' to be a standard. Good children with innocent mind were seen as an ideal model. This seemed to be a result from several factors, including rigid operation guidelines set by the national broadcasting station at the time, people's interest in children's education and Kang So-cheon's influence who was deeply involved in <Children's Time>.
