        비수도권 대학 체육전공 재학생의 진로제약 유형 탐색

        목적 본 연구는 비수도권 대학 체육전공 재학생들이 그들의 진로 준비와 결정과정에서 인식하고 있는 제약요인을 도출해보고, 그 특징을 유형화 하여 이러한 과정을 통해 그들을 둘러싼 사회⋅문화적 특성과 구조적 문제 등을 심층적으로 논의하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 본 연구는 주관성 연구방법의 대표기법인 Q-Method를 활용하였으며, P표본 선정을 위하여 35명의 지방소재 A 대학 체육전공 재학생을 선정하였다. 또한, Q표본 선정을 위하여 예비면담자료 및 문헌자료 분석이 이루어졌으며, 이를 토대로 총 16개의 Q표본을 완성하였다. 결과 비수도권 대학 체육전공 재학생들이 인식하는 진로제약은 총 네 가지로 유형화 되었으며 각 유형은 다음과 같다: 제 1유형은 ‘체육전공 분야로의 진로결정 불안감’으로 명명되었으며, 전공에 대한 자신감을 바탕으로 전공분야로의 취업을 희망하지만 체육 분야의 불안정적이고 협소한 고용시장 구조 등이 제약요인으로 인식되고 있다. 제 2유형은 ‘비체육계 진로결정에 있어 제한적 환경과 부정적 인식’으로 명명되었으며, 해당 유형은 통학 등의 물리적 제약을 받는 동시에 지방대 출신이라는 사회적 편견이 제약요인으로 인식되고 있었다. 제 3유형은 ‘진로선택에 대한 자기 결정권 결여’로 개념화되었으며, 해당 유형은 물리적 환경은 긍정적으로 인식하고 있으나 진로준비에 대한 소극적인 자신의 태도가 제약요인으로 인식되고 있었다. 마지막, 제 4유형은 ‘희망진로와 전공의 불일치’로 명명되었으며, 해당 유형은 향후 진로에 대한 계획이 명확하고 그에 따른 준비를 하고 있지만 자신의 전공이 비체육계로의 취업에 있어서는 불리한 조건으로 작용할 것이라고 인식하고 있었다. 결론 본 연구에서는 이제까지 체육분야 진로와 관련하여 논의 대상에서 간과되어 온 비수도권 소재 체육계열학과 재학생들을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 그들을 둘러싼 사회⋅문화적 환경과 구조적 특성을 심층적으로 논의하였다. 이러한 연구의 결과와 논의가 수도권 출신 유사전공 대졸자들에 비해 노동시장 경쟁에서 더 큰 어려움을 겪고 있는 지방대 체육계열 학생들의 성공적인 진로전환 준비를 위한 학술적 밑거름이 될 수 있길 기대하며, 해당 연구를 토대로 향후 논의되어야 할 사안을 제언하며 마무리 하였다. Objectives The purpose of this study is to derive the constraint factors that physical education major students in a non-metropolitan university recognized during the career preparation and decision making process and categorize the characteristics to deeply discuss their social⋅cultural properties and structural issues through the process. Methods To this end, this study applied Q-methodology, which is a representative method for the subjectivity research method. For P sampling, this study targeted 35 physical education major students in A University located in a province. Moreover, preliminary interview data and literature data analysis were conducted to select Q-methodology. Based on it, 16 Q-sampling was completed. Results The career constraints recognized by physical education major students in the non-metropolitan university were categorized into four types, and each type is as follows. Type 1 was titled ‘anxiety about career decision making in the field of physical education,’ and this is because students hope to get employed in their field of major based on the confidence about their major, but there are perceived constraint factors in the field of physical education such as the unstable and narrow labor market structure. Type 2 was titled ‘the limited environment and negative awareness about career decision making in fields other than physical education,’ and students in this type perceived that they face physical constraints like commuting time as well as the social prejudice that they are students of a non-metropolitan university. Type 3 was conceptualized as ‘the absence of self-determination about career decision making’ and for this type, the physical environment was perceived positively but the subjects passive attitude about career preparation was perceived as a constraint factor. Lastly, type 4 was titled ‘discordance between the desired career and subjects’ major. For this type, the subjects had clear plans about their career and were preparing for it, but perceived that their major will be an unfavorable condition for getting a job in fields other than physical education. Conclusions This study targeted physical education major students enrolled in a non-metropolitan university, which are subjects that were previously overlooked for careers in the field of physical education, as the research participants and deeply discussed their social⋅cultural environments and structural characteristics. It is anticipated for the research findings and discussion to be an academic foundation for physical education major students in non-metropolitan universities struggling in the competitive labor market compared to university graduates with similar majors as they prepare for a successful career transition. This study was finished by proposing the issue to discuss hereafter based on the research findings.

        체육계열 대학생의 주관적인 견해를 통한 자원봉사 활성화 요인 분석

        This thesis, through Q Methodological Analysis, tried to analyze voluntary service activity activation factors of university students in department of physical education, and this thesis, through consultation with this author and 5 doctors majoring in physical education, selected 23 description sentences of 28 ones gathered from united voluntary service activity activation factors presented by precedent theses to attain the aim. In addition, in January 2010, this thesis selected total 20 university students as the first P-sample, 10 ones with experience of voluntary service activities and 10 ones with no experience, enrolled in D University located in Jeollanam-do and performed principal component analysis through QUANL. PC program on 18 students' materials except 2 students' materials which were responded unfaithfully. This thesis analyzed the type Ⅰ, type Ⅱ, and typeⅢ of voluntary service activity activation factors through the processes and leaded to the conclusion as followings. Voluntary service activity activation factor type Ⅰ included establishing and granting a credit on the subject of voluntary service activity related to physical education, preferring the students when a department scholarship is given, and department professors' guiding the students, type Ⅱ included expanding service activity areas for the students to participate in the areas interested in, establishing and granting a credit on the subject of voluntary service activity related to physical education, commending and compensating in relation to voluntary service activities, preferring the students when a department scholarship is given, preferring the students when department professors recommend students for employment, and developing and distributing voluntary service programs, and typeⅢ included systematically assisting at the school level, preferring the students when a department scholarship is given, preferring the students when department professors recommend students for employment, and advertising voluntary service activity. On the basis of the above, this thesis scrutinized the affirmative items of three types and found out that preferring the students when a department scholarship is given and preferring the students when department professors recommend students for employment were common. The affirmative common factors mean the systematic assist at the aspect of supply, that is, compensation and recognition. On the other hand, changing recognition of participating in voluntary service activities were analyzed to be a common negative factor.

        체육전공 대학생의 긍정심리자본에 따른 전공만족, 학습몰입 및 진로준비행동의 관계

        This study examined the relationship between satisfaction with major, learning immersion and career preparation behavior arising in connection with positive psychological capital of university students majoring in physical education and the following results were derived First, the Hypothesis 1 was adopted that there would be a positive relationship between positive psychological capital of university students majoring in physical education and their satisfaction with major. Second, Hypothesis 2 was adopted that there would be a positive relationship between positive psychological capital and learning immersion of university students majoring in physical education. Third, Hypothesis 3 was adopted that there would be a positive relationship between positive psychological capital and career preparation behavior of university students majoring in physical education. Fourth, Hypothesis 4 was adopted that there would be a positive relationship between satisfaction with major and learning immersion of university students majoring in physical education. Fifth, Hypothesis 5 was adopted that there would be a positive relationship between satisfaction with major and career preparation behavior of university students majoring in physical education. Sixth, Hypothesis 6 w as a dopted that t here w ould be a p ositive relationship between learning immersion and career preparation behavior of university students majoring in physical education.

        장애대학생을 위한 교양체육 운영방안 연구: D대학교 사례를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the physical education subjects for student with disability at D university. The subjects gathered through purposive sampling were 4 students with disability who participated in the physical education subjects for student with disability and 2 staffs of D university. Collected Data were analyzed through literature analysis and a survey form semi-structured based on the researchers' opinion and referred to during the in-depth interview. The findings are as follows: first, historical particularity of D university effected on developing physical education subject for students with disability. Second, experience of participants on physical education subject was analyzed. Third, there was some inconvenience in physical education subject for students with disability. Lastly, it drew way to improve the physical education subject for students with disability. Finally, university had to provide high quality physical education for students with disability because of university enrollment rate of student with disability is increasing so university should strive to provide physical education subjects that take into account the specificity of students with disability.

        교육대학교 여학생의 체육실기 기피현상 및 해법 탐색

        본 연구는 최근 초등학교 여교사 비율이 80%대를 육박하며 체육교육에 있어 적지 않은 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 선행 연구결과를 근거로 현재 교육대학교 여학생의 체육실기 기피현상을 살펴보고 해법을 탐색하는데 목적이 있 다. 이를 위하여 혼합연구방법을 활용하여 양적 자료수집을 위해 100명의 교대 여학생에 대해 설문조사를 실시하 고 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 질적 자료수집을 위해 11명의 교대 여학생과 개방적-반구조적 면담을 실시하였으며 이를 질문분석법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 70%의 설문대상 여학생과 면담에 참여한 11명 중 8명의 여학 생이 체육활동을 싫어한다고 보고하였다. 체육실기를 기피하는 정도의 순위로서 타 교과와 비교할 때 1-5위 내로 선정한 여학생의 비율이 70%로 나타났으며, 기피 원인으로는 운동을 못해서, 부상이 두려워서, 평가가 부담돼서, 수업이 무의미해서, 움직이는 연습이 싫어서 등의 이유가 제시되었다. 대신 초등학생에게 체육활동이 중요하다는 데에는 대부분이 인식하고 있었으며, 자신이 향후 체육수업을 지도하는 것에 대해서는 매우 낮은 자신감을 보였 다. 본 연구에서는 여학생 체육 실기 기피현상의 원인으로 체육현장에 잔존하고 있는 ‘아나공’ 수업 등과 같은 불 성실한 수업내용에 주목하며 현장 체육교사들의 반성과 성찰이 필요함을 역설하였다. 이어 체육실기 기피현상에 대한 해법으로 여학생의 정서를 이해하고 반영한 교과구성, 여자 스포츠 강사의 확대 배치, 여학생 친화적 체육 프로그램 개발 및 보급, 즐기는 수업으로의 패러다임 전환, 체육교육자의 깊은 반성과 실천적 의지를 제시하였다. Assuming that recent dramatic increase of female teachers in elementary schools caused several side-effects, such as feminization of male elementary students, this study attempted to explore status-que of female students’ hatred over physical activities in educational university. This study also tried to generate solutions that promote female students’ participation in physical activities. Data collection was two folds; 1) to collect quantitative data, a total of 100 female students attending an educational university was selected as survey subjects, being asked their general tendency on physical activities, teaching confidence on physical education, and so forth, 2) to collect qualitative data, 11 female students attending an educational university were selected as research participants and were participated in open-ended and semi-structured interviews. To analyze the data, frequency analysis for quantitative data and question analysis for qualitative data were utilized. As the results, 70% survey participants hated physical activity while 8 out of 11 interviewees hated physical activity. 70% of survey participants designated physical activity classes as one of top five classes they hate. The reasons for the hatred over physical activities turned out to be 1) poor exercise skills, 2) fear of injury, 3) burden over evaluation, 4) meaninglessness of physical education, and 5) hatred over movement. The female students believed that physical activities are important for elementary school students, but paradoxically they have been neglected in participating in physical activities, which they need to teach after becoming elementary school teacher. Meanwhile, 80% of survey participants were lack of confidence in teaching physical activity classes. This study highlighted faithless and poor physical education in elementary, middle, and high schools as one of pivotal reasons of the hatred of female students, and self-reflection and introspection should be taken place by physical educators. In order to minimize the hatred over physical activity of female students, we propose the following solutions; 1) designing curriculums reflecting female students’ emotional traits, 2) expanding employment of female sports instructors in educational environment, 3) development and dissemination of female students-friendly physical education programs, 4) change of paradigm of physical education in which female students can enjoy physical education rather than being a subject of evaluation, and 5) in-depth self-reflection and introspection by physical educators should firstly be taken place.

        대학교양체육활동에서 학생들이 인식한 심리적 욕구, 내적동기, 체육활동 지속성 간의 구조적 인과관계

        This study aims to investigate the structural causal relationships between psychological needs(autonomy, competence, relatedness), intrinsic motivation, and physical activity continuity perceived by students participating in university physical education. Participants consisted of a total of 205 students(Male=121, Female=84, 1-4 grades, Mage=22.3) who participated in university physical education classes such as tennis, bowling, badminton, golf, and yoga during one semester at two universities in a metropolitan city. The students filled out three questionnaires at the end of one semester, and the collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling(SEM). The study results revealed the structural causal relationship between competence, intrinsic motivation, and physical activity continuity was a suitable model at a statistically significant level. The findings suggest that the use of teaching methods and strategies that can enhance the students' competence and intrinsic motivation in university physical education classes can be a useful tool to lead to their physically active and healthy lifestyles during out of school and leisure times. 본 연구는 대학교양체육활동에 참여한 학생들이 인식한 심리적 욕구(자율성, 유능성, 관계성), 내적 동기, 체육활동 지속성 간의 구조적 인과관계 규명을 목적으로 한다. 연구 참가자는 A 광역시에 소재한 2개 대학에서 한 학기 동안 테니스, 볼링, 배드민턴, 골프, 요가 등 대학교양체육수업에 참여한 총 205명의 학생(남 =121, 여=84; 1-4학년; 평균나이=22.3)들로 구성되었다. 학생들은 학기 말에 3개의 설문지를 작성하였고, 수집된 자료는 SEM(Structural Equation Modeling)을 이용하여 분석되었다. 연구 결과에서 학생들의 유능성, 내적 동기, 체육활동 지속성 간의 구조적 인과관계가 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 적합한 모델인 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과는 대학교양체육수업에서 학생들의 유능성과 내적 동기를 향상시킬 수 있는 교수방법과 전략을 활용하는 것이 방과 후 시간 및 여가 시간에 신체활동적인 생활 방식과 건강을 증진시킬 수 있는 유용한 수단이 될 수 있음을 시사하였다.

        교양체육 수강과정에서 나타난 학생들의 경험과 교육적 의미 살펴보기

        이 연구는 대학생들이 교양체육 강의를 신청하고 수강하는 과정에서 일어난 경험을 살펴보고 교양체육이 가지는 교육적 의미를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 D광역시에 소재한 K대학교 재학생으로 교양체육수업에 참여하는 10명의 대학생 (남: 5명, 여: 5명)을 연구참여자로 선정하였으며, 연구참여자를 대상으로 60분~90분정도의 반구조화된 면담과 비구조화 된 면담을 실시하고 연구자의 비참여관찰을 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 반복해서 읽으며 코딩되었고 유사한 의미끼리 묶어 범주화되고 주제를 만들어 가는 귀납적 분석의 과정을 거쳤다. 연구결과, 교양체육과 연결고리 만들기, 수업을 방해하는 장애물들, 긍정적 적극적 태도, 정보를 활용하여 실력 끌어올리기, 교양체육에서 평생체육으로 등 5가지의 주제로 구분 되었다. ‘교양체육과 연결고리 만들기’는 수업을 신청하게 된 동기와 사전경험에 관한 것이며, ‘수업을 방해하는 장애물’들은 수업참여를 방해하는 환경적, 심리적인 장애물이다. ‘긍정적 적극적 태도’는 수업에 대한 열의와 즐거움, 학습 지속력으로 설 명할 수 있고, ‘정보를 활용하여 실력 끌어올리기’는 다양한 매체와 피드백의 활용에 관한 것이다. 마지막으로 ‘교양체육에서 평생체육으로’는 이들 학생들에게 평생체육의 길로 안내하는 역할로 이해할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 긍정적인 경험을 공하는 교양체육이 다양한 형태로 대학생들에게 제공되어야 한다는 필요성을 제시 하고 있다. The purposes of this study were to investigate the educational means and experiences of university students who participated in cultural physical education. Participants consisted of 10 students (5 male, 5 female) in K university located in D city. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and unstructured interviews of 60min-90min in each time and one more methods of collecting date was non-participant observation. The collected data was analyzed by process of transcription, coding, and theme formation. Also, in order to enhance the validity of the data collection, triangulation, peer debriefing, and member check techniques were used. The brief findings of the study were as follows: Study results showed a five theme, including ‘making a ring with cutural physical education’, ‘interference’, ‘positive and aggressive attitude’, ‘application information’, ‘value of cutural physical education’. Making a ring with cutural physical education is related to motivation and prior experience to apply for the course. Interference is an environmental psychological obstacles that interfere with class participation. Positive and aggressive attitude can be explained by the enthusiasm and joy for the class. Application information is directed to the use of various media and feedback. Finally value of cutural physical education is guiding the path of lifelong physical education to students. Based on these findings, cutural physical education should be provided in a variety of forms and the result tells of the need of many types cutural physical education for lifelong physical education and posivive experiences.

        창의융복합 교육모델인『팀팀Class』의 체육대학 운영사례와 성과분석 연구

        The purpose of this study was to introduce community-linked classes of Physical Education(PE) students who participated in “Team Team Class”, a creative convergence education model of K University, and to provide basic data of the university convergence education model through performance analysis. The research contents are as follows. First, an introduction to K University's convergence education “Team Team Class”, and examples of classes in which actual Physical Education(PE) students connected with the local community are introduced. Second, “Team Team Class” by PE students, elderys of the local community, and participating professor was analyzed. The subjects of the study were 15 students from the PE college, 11 elderys from the welfare center, and 1 professor, focusing on the class case of “Team Team Class”. The results of this study are as follows; First, PE students improved their ability to develop, plan, teach, and operate health programs for the elderly. Through teacher's experience, understanding of the elderly, and exercise, as well as nutritional approaches, it provided an opportunity to expand the study and introduce and apply it to the major field. Second, it was an opportunity for the elderly to participate in the health care (exercise-nutrition) program that students directly visit and to feel physical, social, and psychological satisfaction with exercise and nutritional education. Lastly, by finding commonalities between the two majors together, the professor as well as students recognize the need for connection between the field and the major, connect with the local community, analyze from various perspectives, and create a convergence education system. It was also an opportunity for research, and provided an opportunity to consider the direction of leading the era of convergence through expansion of major. 4차 혁명 시대와 함께 교육의 현장에서도 창의융합 인재 양성이 필요로 하며 대학교육의 현장 역시 새로운 교육시스템이 시도되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 K대학교 창의 융복합 교육모델인 『팀팀Class』에 참여한 체육대학 학생들의 지역사회 연계 수업을 소개하고, 성과분석을 통해 대학 융복합 교육모델의 기초자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 연구내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, K대학교 융복합 교육『팀팀Class』소개 및 실제 체육대학 학생들이 지역사회와 연계한 수업 적용사례 소개, 둘째, 체육대학 학생, 지역사회 어르신, 참여교수에 의한 『팀팀Class』의 성과 파악이다. 연구대상은 코로나19로 인해 2020년-2021년은 가장 취약계인 노인분들의 안전을 위해 복지관 출입의 제한으로 2018년, 2019년에 진행된 지역사회복지관과 함께했던 K대학교 창의융복합 교육시스템인 『팀팀Class』수업사례를 중심으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체육대학 학생들은 실제 어르신들에게 건강프로그램 개발, 계획, 티칭, 운영하는 능력을 향상시키고, 현장의 노인체육 지도자 역할체험, 지도 대상(노인) 파악, 운동뿐 아니라 영양학적인 접근을 통해 학문의 확장과 전공영역에 도입 및 적용할 수 있는 기회를 제공하였다. 둘째, 지역사회 연계프로그램으로 어르신들은 학생들이 직접 찾아가는 건강관리(운동-영양)프로그램에 참여하시고 신체적, 사회적, 심리적인 만족감을 느낄 수 있는 기회가 되었다. 마지막으로 담당 교수는 두 전공의 교수가 함께 두 전공간의 교집합을 찾아냄으로써, 현장과 전공연계성의 필요성 인식, 지역사회와의 연계 및 다양한 관점에서 분석하고 융복합 교육 시스템을 만들어가야 한다는 점에서 학생들 뿐만 아니라 교수입장에서도 연구의 기회이며, 전공확장을 통해 융합의 시대를 이끌고 나가는 방향을 고민하는 계기를 마련할 수 기회를 제공하였다. 창의융복합 교육모델인 K대학교『팀팀Class』는 현장중심의 융복합 학문의 접근으로 체육대학 학생들이 현장에서 영양학적으로 접근할 수 있는 새로운 전공의 영역확장의 기회였으며 앞으로도 또 다른 전공 영역과의 융복합 교과과정 연계를 통해 학생의 취업, 창업 및 교수역량 확대, 지역사회의 발전까지도 가져올 수 있도록 지향할 필요가 있는 교육시스템이라 사료된다.

        체육전공 대학생의 장애인의 사회적 거리감이 긍정적 태도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of the social distance and positive attitude of ma-joring in physical education university students. Through convenience sampling method, selected 396 survey questionnaires were used for final analysis from majoring in physical education university students. the re-search tools utilized Mi-Ok Kim(2002) used social distance scale by modified a modified version of the ques-tionnaire used of Hae-Young Jung and Bo-Sun Seo(2012). Social distance` questionnaire was consisting of di-mensional composed by ‘Countries and Islands’, ‘normal life,’ and ‘schools and co-workers’, ‘friends’, ‘family’. And positive attitude scale was developed by Kyong-Ja Hyun(2009) used. Positive attitude sacle was consisting of dimentional composed by ‘self-accceptance’, ‘self-belief’, ‘self-control’, ‘social adaptation’, and ‘acceptance of society’. With the collected data, multiple regression analysis were performed by SPSS 15.0. The results of the analysis were summarized as follows. First, majoring in physical education university students` social distance are ‘normal life,’ and ‘schools and co-workers’,’ friends’, ‘national institutions’,’ family ‘in order. Second, the type of disable in the majoring in physical education university students of social distance are hearing impairment, visual impairment, physical disabilities, and intellectual disability was ordered.         대학교양체육 수강생들의 그릿과 마인드셋 그리고 운동몰입의 관계

        교양체육은 다양한 신체활동을 통해 학생들의 건강한 여가선용과 취미생활 개발, 나아가 평생체육에 대한 인식을 높이기 위한 교과목이다. 이러한 교양체육이 갖는 긍정적인 교육효과가 발현되기 위해서는 교양체육 수업 중에 나타나는 실패의 경험이나 수강 포기과 같은 부정적인 경험을 줄이고 수업에 몰두할 수 있는 상태가 되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학교양체육수강생들의 그릿과 마인드셋 그리고 운동몰입과의 관계를 알아보는 것이다. 연구를 위해 2019년 5월부터 6월까지 수도권소재 Y, K, I 대학의 교양체육에 참여하는 대학생들에게 총 400부의 설문을 배포하였고, 이중 총 365부의 설문지를 최종자료로 사용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 결과 첫째, 그릿의 하위요인인 노력지속성(perseverance of effort)만이 인지몰입에 통계적으로 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 그릿의 하위요인인 노력지속성만이 행위몰입에 통계적으로 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 그릿의 하위요인인 흥미일관성(consistency of interest)과 노력지속성은 마인드셋에 통계적으로 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 마인드셋은 인지몰입과 행위몰입에 통계적으로 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 교양체육에 대한 수강생들의 운동몰입 정도를 높이기 위해서는 그릿과 마인드셋을 높여야 함을 알 수 있다. 이를 위해 교육적 성취결과보다는 개인의 운동수행능력 또는 성과에 대한 성장가능성을 믿고 흥미를 유지할 수 있는 장기적인 전략과 실천의지가 필요하다. Physical education is a liberal education curriculum in the college and university level education designed to enhance students' perception of healthy leisure time development and importance of the lifelong sports participant through the physical activities. In order for the positive educational effect through the taking this liberal education to be expressed to the students and deduction of the negative experience like drop or abandonment of classes during the those curriculum related PE, it should be supported to concentrate on the class. The purpose of this study was to find out the relation between exercise commitment and Grit, mindset of university students in class of physical education as liberal education. For this study, total 365 questionnaires to students in class of physical education as liberal education of Y, K, I universities in metropolitan area from May to June of 2019. For date analysis, SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 program. As a results first, only perseverance of effort that was subsidiary factors of Grit is appeared to effect positively on cognition commitment statistically. Second, only perseverance of effort that was subsidiary factors of Grit is appeared to effect positively on behavior commitment statistically. Third, consistency of interest and perseverance of effort which were subsidiary factors of Grit were appeared to effect positively on mindset statistically. Fourth, mindset was appeared to effect positively on cognition commitment and behavior commitment statistically. In conclusion, it can be seen that the grit and mind set must be raised in order to increase the student's concentration in sports in culture and sports. This requires a long-term strategy and commitment to maintain interest in the growth potential of an individual's athletic performance or performance rather than educational achievements.
