        보리 F₂集團에 있어서 穗/莖葉乾物重比의 分離樣相과 遺傳率

        Selection in early generation was considered as a method of indentifying superior lines as early as possible. The inheritance of ear/shoot dry weight ratio in barley was examined by segregation mode in F₂ populations derived from four cross combinations to facilitate the selection of high yielding lines. Barley cultivars “Olbori” and “Milyang 36” were higher in ear/ shoot dry weight ratio than the other cultivars. Two combinations of Olbori x N-ACC-400-172 and Olbori x Milyang 36, which showed transgressive segregating mode in F₂ population, had high heritability for ear/shoot dry weight ratio. This result suggested that high-yielding lines could be selected in these two cross combinations. The F₂ plant with high ear/shoot dry weight ratio tended to be high in yield due to increase in the number of grains per spike and 1,000-grain weight.

        표고 담자포자 유래 단핵균사의 A 교배형과 생장 속도 상관관계

        표고는 사극성의 교배계를 갖는 담자균의 일종으로, 표고의 교배형은 A와B라 불리는 서로 독립된 두 유전자좌에 의해 결정된다. 이론적으로 하나의 이핵균주는 네 개의 서로 다른 교배형을 갖는 담자포자를 1:1:1:1의 비율로 만들 수 있다. 과거 연구 결과에 따르면, 표고 담자포자에서 교배형이 편향된 분리비로 나타남이 보고되었다. 하지만 이러한 결과들은 꺽쇠연결과 같은 형태학적 특성만을 기반으로 교배형을 결정했다는 한계가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교배형의 편향된 분리비가 표고에서 일반적인 현상인지 보다 명확하게 알아보기 위해서 최근에 보고된 DNA 마커를 활용하여 세 가지 표고 품종들의 담자포자에 대한 교배형 분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 교배형의 편향된 분리비가 과거 보고와 일치하게 균주 특이적인 특성임을 확인하였다. 분석한 세 품종 중 한 품종을 제외하고 나머지 두 품종에서 편향된 분리비가 관찰된 것이다. 다음으로는 각 담자포자 유래 단핵균사들의 생장 속도와 교배형의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과 표고 단핵균사의 생장 속도는B 교배형과는 관계가 없고, A 교배형과 관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서A 교배형 유전자좌에 존재하는 호메오도메인 전사인자 혹은A 교배형 유전자좌와 연관된 유전자들이 단핵균사의 생장에 영향을 줄 것으로 보인다. 버섯 신품종 육성에서 교배형의 중요성을 고려할 때, 본 연구는 효율적인 신품종 육성 전략을 세우거나 단핵균사 생장 기작을 이해하는 데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다. Lentinula edodes is a tetrapolar basidiomycete and its mating type is determined by two unlinked genetic loci, A and B. Theoretically, one dikaryotic strain could produce basidiospores with four different mating types in a 1:1:1:1 ratio. Previous studies have described the skewed segregation ratio of mating types among basidiospores of L. edodes. However, they were based only on morphological characteristics, such as clamp connection, to determine mating types. To clarify whether the segregation distortion of mating types is a general phenomenon in L. edodes, we analyzed the mating types of basidiospores obtained from three cultivars of L. edodes using recently developed DNA markers. We found that the skewed segregation of mating types was strain-specific, as reported previously. Among the three cultivars, one cultivar showed balanced segregation, while the other two displayed distorted segregation. We also examined the relationship between mating type and mycelial growth rate of monokaryons derived from each basidiospore. It was found that the monokaryotic mycelial growth rate was related to the A mating type but not to the B mating type. Therefore, homeodomain transcription factor genes that reside on the A locus or other genes linked to the A locus affect the growth rate of monokaryotic mycelia. Considering the importance of mating types in mushroom breeding, this study is informative for establishing an efficient breeding strategy as well as for understanding the mechanism of monokaryotic mycelial growth.

        폐타이어분말 혼합이 동상억제에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

        The authors conducted field experiments of frost heave to evaluate a method for reducing frost susceptibility using granulated used-tire mixture for 3 winters. Qualitative analyses for the evaluation of restraint effect of frost susceptibility by utilizing granulated used-tire soil mixture were conducted with the segregation potential concept and frost heave ratio. By mixing soil with granulated tire, the frost susceptibility was decreased drastically. From the result of the analyses, it was confirmed that granulated tire is an excellent material in controlling the frost susceptibility.

        대형주강 압탕부의 편석거동 고찰

        Sulfide segregation behavior, characteristics of solidification microstructure and compositional distribution in the riser/castings junction of heavy-section main bearing support (MBS) steel castings were investigated; Sulfide streaks of A segregation were formed in the transitional region from columnar grain to coarse equiaxed grain and floated with aggregation of the dendritic free ciystal. Solute segregation behaviors of elements Si, P and S were V shape negative segregation from the bottom of the castings to upper part of the riser with the reference of vertical center-line of the specimen block. Those of elements C and Mn were V shape negative segregation in the main body and A shape positive segregation in the riser of the casting. Just beneath the pipe shrinkage in the riser segregation ratio of each element was the highest, and that of S was 3.6 times higher, C 3.3 times, P 2.1 times, Si 1.6 times and Mn 1.0 times respectively. [Mn/S] ratio of the specimen block was distributed in the wide range of 20~275.

        Segregation Ratio in Selfed and Crossed Progenies Demonstrates Single Dominant Gene Inheritance of Day-neutrality in Strawberry

        Studies on the inheritance of day-neutrality, a highly desirable trait in strawberry (Fragaria×ananassa),have not been conclusive because flowering phenotypes were evaluated based on different materials and experimentalsites. In the present study, selfed and crossed progenies of Day-neutral (DN) ‘Albion’ and June-bearing (JB) ‘Akihime’cultivars, namely ‘Albion’ × ‘Albion’, ‘Akihime’ × ‘Akihime’, and ‘Akihime’ × ‘Albion’, were established in 2013and 2014. The flowering phenotype (DN or JB) of seedlings from each of the three progenies, as well as of parentalplants, was evaluated for two successive years (2015 and 2016) in Central Yunnan, China, and their segregationratios were used to elucidate day-neutrality inheritance. Single dominant gene inheritance was demonstrated forday-neutrality, although minor genes (from the JB parent ‘Akihime’) likely increase DN magnitude. During thejuvenile stage (i.e., long before the first inflorescence), the major gene controlling day-neutrality may not beexpressed. We provide basic information for DN gene mapping and cloning, as well as materials (progenies) fordomestic DN strawberry breeding.

        낙사법으로 조성된 대형 석고 고결시료의 균질성

        The method to prepare the large cemented sand specimen for calibration chamber test by air-pluviation is investigated in this study. The uniformity of cemented specimen is evaluated by performing the CPTs, DMTs, and bender element tests in the calibration chamber. The sand particles, pre-wetted with 0.5% water content, are mixed with gypsum to provide the homogeneous coating of gypsum particles on the grain surface. It was shown that the pre-wetting of particle surface is effective to minimize the potential for segregation between sands and gypsum during air-pluviation. It was observed that the extreme void ratios (emax and emin) of the mixture of pre-wetted sand and gypsum powder increase at lower gypsum content while those of the mixture of dry sand and gypsum decrease with increasing gypsum content. It was also shown from the test results that large cemented specimens reconstituted in calibration chamber by rainer system are quite uniform in vertical and horizontal directions.

        Familial aggregation and heritability of hypertension in Han population in Shanghai China: a case-control study

        Background: To explore the familial aggregation and heritability of hypertension in Han in Shanghai China. Methods: According to l:l matched pairs design, 342 patients of hypertension and 342 controls were selected and investigate their nuclear family members in the case-control study. The method of genetic epidemiology research was used to explore the familial aggregation and heritability of hypertension. Results: The prevalence rate of hypertension of first-degree relatives was significantly higher (34.44%) than that of second- degree relatives (17.60%) and third-degree relatives (13.51%) in Han Population in Shanghai China. Separation ratio p was 0.217, and prevalence rate of case group relatives was higher than that of control group relatives. The results showed a phenomenon of familial aggregation in the distribution of hypertension. The heritability of first- degree relatives was 49.51%; that of second-degree relatives and third-degree relatives were respectively 23.42 and 21.41%. Conclusion: The distribution of essential hypertension has phenomenon of familial aggregation in Han Population in Shanghai China. The separation ratio of essential hypertension in this study shows that essential hypertension conform to the characteristics of multigene genetic disease. The heritability of first-degree relatives is bigger than that of second-degree relatives and third-degree relatives.

        Enhancing Tensile Properties of Wire-Arc Additively Manufactured Ti-6Al-4 V Deposits Via Cryogenic Vaporised Ar Shielding/Cooling

        The cooling time of cryogenic vaporised Ar shielding/cooling of Ti-6Al-4 V deposits was ~ 10 times faster than that ofnormal Ar gas shielding/cooling. The columnar β grains in rapid cooling condition were observed to be in the longitudinaldirection of the deposits same as that in natural cooling condition. Under the rapid cooling, a narrow heat-affected zone band(~ 70 μm) and a wide vanadium-segregation band was observed, along with a reduced aspect ratio of the α plate, which ledto improved isotropic-tensile properties along the deposition and building directions. Rapid cooling condition also retaineda significant amount of O and N, which enhanced its hardness and tensile strength. Thus, cryogenic vaporised Ar shielding/cooling can produce Ti-6Al-4 V wire-arc additive manufacturing deposits with better tensile properties compared to normalAr gas shielding.

        순환골재가 고유동 콘크리트의 유동특성에 미치는 영향

        본 연구에서는 순환골재를 고유동 콘크리트용 골재로 활용함으로써 순환골재의 활용을 촉진하고자 하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 순환골재는 설계기준강도가 40MPa인 콘크리트를 6개월간 양생한 후, 죠 크러셔로 파쇄한 것이다. 순환 골재를 이용한 고유동 콘크리트의 특성을 평가하기 위해 순환골재 대체율, W/B, 잔골재 부피비(Sr) 등 다양한 콘크 리트 배합조건을 검토하였다. 유동성, 편석 저항성, 충전성을 평가하기 위해 슬럼프 유동시험, L-깔때기 유동시험, 깔대기 시험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 요구성능을 만족할 수 있는 순환골재를 이용한 고유동 콘크리트의 배합조건을찾을 수 있었는데, 순환골재 대체율은 50% 이하, W/B는 37% 이하, 그리고 Sr은 47% 이하인 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to promote the use of recycled aggregates by using recycled aggregates as aggregates for high flowing concrete. The recycled aggregate used in this study was made by curing concrete with a Fck 40 MPa for 6 months and then crushing it using a Jaw crusher. To evaluate the properties of high flowing concrete using recycled aggregates, various concrete mixture conditions such as replacement rate of the recycled aggregates, W/B and Volume ratio of fine aggregate(Sr) were reviewed. Slump flow test, L-funnel flow test and funneling test were conducted to estimate flowability, resistance to segregation and fillingability. As a result, the mixture conditions of high flowing concrete using recycled aggregate to satisfy the required performance could be found; the replacement rate of the recycled aggregate of below 50%, W/B of below 37% and Sr of below 47%.
