        경관의미에 대한 정보전달이 경관선호에 미치는 영향

        The objective of this study is to test the influence of the landscape meaning illustrated to subjects on their landscape preference and to investigate the difference of the response(Influence Value;IV) between cultural landscape and natural landscape. For this, color-slide surrogates for cultural and natural landscape are shown to Experimental Group(EG) and Control Group(CG)(between-subject design). And Experimental Group is divided into meaning illustrated Before and After Group(within-subject design). For given 45 slide scenes of cultural and natural landscape, the subjects were asked to measure their preference on ten point scale. The results are as follows; 1. The influence of value illustration is positive in the preference. Specifically, this effect was more powerful for the low beauty landscape than for the high beauty landscape. 2. The relation between the IV and the preference of non illustrated group was deeply correlated. And IV of cultural landscape was higher than that of natural landscape. 3. It is identified that the meaning illustration about high naturalness landscape such as the swamp and alpine landscape is more effective than other natural landscape. 4. Also, the preference was more influenced by the personal task associated with landscape experience. But the statistical significance between the preference and experience about landscape didn't exist. Accordingly, it was suggested by this study that the illustrated meanings of landscape and perceived landscape form were also major influential factors on the landscape preference.

        중국 전통원림의 치석피도(置石被度)에 따른 원로경관의 시지각적 특성 분석 -한국인과 중국인 시지각 비교를 중심으로-

        본 연구는 중국 전통 강남원림인 소주원림의 원로경관을 대상으로 치석피도(置石被度)에 따른 한국인과 중국인의 시지각적 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 SD스케일에 의한 경관 형용사 분석방법으로 시지각적 이미지와 선호도를 파악하였다. 연구방법은 다음과 같다. 중국의 전통 강남원림인 소주의 졸정원, 창랑정, 사자림, 유원, 망사원 원림에 위치한 원로의 경관사진을 촬영하여 그 중 15매를 선정하여, 형용사 21쌍으로 이루어진 설문지로 대학생 한국인 51명과 중국인 52명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 한국인과 중국인의 치석피도에 따른 원로경관의 시지각적 특성과 선호도에 대한 차이를 파악하기 위해서 T검정을 실시하였으며, 치석피도의 선호도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 치석피도를 산출해서 유형화하여 한국인과 중국인의 설문결과에 대한 평균분석, 요인분석을 실시하였다. 경관특성 선호요인을 파악하기 위하여 설정된 경관형용사를 척도화 하여 요인분석을 실시하였다. 이를 수행하여 얻은 연구 결과는 다음과 같다: 한국과 중국인의 원로경관 선호도에 대한 차이분석을 실시한 결과, 중국인의 전체적 선호도는 한국인보다 더 높았다. 치석피도로 구분한 유형별로는 평균치가 중간, 매우 작은, 작은, 큰, 매우 큰 순으로 높게 나타났다. 치석피도에 따른 선호도는 치석피도가 낮을수록 선호도는 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 치석피도에 따른 선호도의 영향에 있어서는 중국인보다 한국인이 더 큰 영향을 받았다. 전통 강남 원림 가로 경관의 시각적 특성을 요인분석 결과, 한국인의 시각적 특성은 <심미성 요인>, <쾌적성요인>, <정연성 요인>, <흥미성 요인>로 총 4가지 요인으로 분류되었다.중국인의 시각적 특성은 <심리성 요인>, <쾌적성 요인>, <정연성 요인>총 3가지 요인으로 분류되었다. This study takes road landscape of traditional Chinese Kangnam gardens in Suzhou as the object. It compares the relations and differences between preferences of Korean and Chinese on road landscapes with different rockery ratios, and studies the differences between Korean and Chinese`s adjective visual characteristics of road landscape of traditional gardens and impacts of visual characteristics on preference. The following is the research process: Firstly, the theoretical survey of road landscape of traditional Chinese Kangnam gardens is conducted, pictures of the road landscape of gardens in Suzhou are taken, and 15 pictures are selected based on rockery ratio. Secondly, in order to grasp the visual preference and landscape characteristics of road landscape of garden in Suzhou, 15 pictures and 21 pairs of adjectives are adopted for the questionnaire survey. Thirdly, in order to grasp the differences between preferences of Korean and Chinese on road landscape of traditional Chinese Kangnam gardens, the t-test analysis is conducted. In order to grasp the impacts of rockery ratio on preference, and after the classification of landscape pictures based on rockery occupancy, the average analysis, factor analysis of results of questionnaire survey for Korean and Chinese are conducted respectively. In order to grasp the differences of incentives of landscape preference, the incentive analysis of results of questionnaire survey for Korean and Chinese is carried out. In order to grasp the impacts of various factors on the preference, The results are as follows: The results of analysis of differences between Korean and Chinese`s preference on road landscape of traditional Chinese Kangnam gardens show that the overall preference of Chinese is higher than that of Korean. The results of the landscape preference analysis show that the ranking order of average value of Korean and Chinese`s preference on rockery ratio categories is: medium ratio, very small ratio, small ratio, large ratio, very large ratio. The results of analysis of relations between rockery ratio of traditional Chinese Kangnam gardens and preference show that the preference increases as the ruckery ratio decreases, and the rockery ratio variation causes greater impacts on Korean. Results of the analysis of visual characteristics, factors of visual characteristics of Koreans are "aesthetic factor", "comfort factor", "neat(orderly) factor", and "fun factor". The visual characteristics of Chinese has three factors, namely "psychological factor", "comfort factor", and "neat factor".

        산림 휴양 관광목적지 경관 기대가 경관 만족도 및관광 만족도에 미치는 영향 분석 연구 - 국립공원공단 생태탐방원을 중심으로 -

        This study aims to suggest the landscape management strategies of the Ecological Exploration Center from the Korea National Park Service (KNPS). The relationship between landscape expectations, landscape preference, overall satisfaction, revisit intention, and stay time on landscape preference was analyzed to do this. The subjects for this evaluation were 2,440 people who had experience visiting Ecological Exploration Center before. The path model was used to determine the relationship between landscape expectation, preference, and revisit intention. Also, T-test and ANOVA analysis were carried out to examine the stay time and demographic variables with landscape preference. As a result, we found that Hallyeohaesang Ecological Exploration Center had high landscape expectations and preference scores. Ecological Exploration Centers with a significant difference in preference compared to landscape expectations were additionally discussed. In terms of the relationship between variables, overall satisfaction had the most significant impact on revisit intention; however, the relationship between landscape expectation with overall satisfaction for tourist attraction was not proven. The effect of landscape preference depending on stay time was derived as meaningful. Specifically, it was verified that visitors who stayed for one night or more had higher landscape preferences than visitors who did not stay overnight. Lastly, it was found that ‘married’, ‘visitor with family’, and ‘professional and office worker’ was higher than other groups on landscape preference depending on demographic variables. This study are meaningful in verifying the landscape preference theory and the expectation-satisfaction theory of tourist destinations. Moreover, it is judged that this result can directly contribute to the improvement of visitors and landscape marketing strategies of Ecological Exploration Center.

        지원성(Affordance)이 경관선호도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 ― 자연경관이 우세한 지역을 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 지원성(affordance)이 경관선호에 영향을 미치고 있는가를 파악하고 예측변수로서의 가능성을 알아보는 것이다. 또한 지원성의 특성이 어떠한 것인지를 파악해 보고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 일반인이 찍은 자연경관이 우세한 사진 40장을 이용하여 대학생들을 대상으로 경관평가를 실시하였다. 선호 예측변수로는 신비감, 통일감, 지원성을 사용하였다. 경관평가 결과를 바탕으로 전문가들을 대상으로 개방형 설문을 실시하여 지원성이 나타난 경관의 특성을 파악하였다. 연구 결과, 신비감과 지원성(affordance)이 경관선호도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가장 선호도가 높은 경관과 가장 선호도가 낮은 경관에서 경관선호도 예측변수로서 지원성의 중요도가 가장 높았다. 경관선호도의 예측변수로서 지원성이 타당한 변수가 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 경관선호도에 지원성이 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 지원성이 높은 경관의 특성은 인공구조물이 있어 행위를 유발하는 기능이 있고, 주변 경관과 경사, 바닥포장 상태 등이 지원성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지원성이 높은 경관은 접근성이 뛰어나고 레크리에이션 활동을 담을 수 있는 공간에 대한 것이 많았다. 반대로 지원성이 낮은 경관은 표고차, 시각적 차단, 물에 의한 차단 등으로 인해 접근성이 낮다는 특성을 지니고 있었고, 위험성이 감지되어 행동유발성이 떨어지는 경관의 특성을 가지고 있었으며, 무엇을 하기 위한 경관인지 모르는 모호성을 지니고 있었다. 이러한 지원성의 특성을 적절히 활용한다면 분명한 계획목적을 가진 공간 조성에 유용할 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to establish the city image in devising landscape planning by examining the image, the identity of cities and analyzing the factors that constitute the image of the cities as a method to deduce a fundamental course of landscape planning before establishing landscape planning. The present study focuses on whether affordances affect landscape preference or not and analyze it as an independent variable. This study also analyzes the characteristic of affordances. For this study college students were shown 40 photographs of nature landscapes for evaluation. Mystery, coherence and affordances were used for the independent variable. Based on the landscape evaluations open-end questionnaires were given to experts to determine the specific landscape character of affordances. The study indicated that Mystery and affordances affect landscape preference. The affordances are the most important independent variable of landscape preference both in the highest landscape preference and the lowest landscape preference. This shows that affordances are a reasonable variable as an independent variable of landscape preference and its effects on landscape preference. The result shows that specific landscapes with high affordance have artificial structures that induce activities. It also shows that affordance can be affected by the neighboring landscape, slope and ground packing state. High affordance landscapes are highly accessible and spaces in which one can hold recreational activities. In contrast, landscapes with low affordance have low accessibility due to vertical drop, visual interception and blocked by water. Moreover, it looks dangerous. This result shows if affordances were properly utilized they could be useful in creating a space with clear purpose.

        운전자와 비운전자의 가로경관 선호도 분석- 남태령 가로경관을 사례로 -

        Despite the fact that many studies on the street landscape have been made, there was insufficient researches on the preference of street landscape viewed from the driver 's point of view. We analyzed the preference of driver and non-driver for street landscape of road edge and the trees in the center of the road. As a result, this study suggested the method of a basic measure for constructing and improving street landscape considering different preference between driver and non-driver. The photographs were taken while driving the vehicle in order to take the driver 's viewpoint. The questionnaire survey was conducted on 31 drivers and 34 non-drivers. The photos used in the questionnaire were selected to include various landscape. For each photograph components, the naturalness, openness, safety, aesthetics, complexity, and preference were asked from respondents whether to be good or not for each landscape adjective. The categorical regression analysis was applied to find landscape factors that affect street landscape preference and the relationship between landscape adjectives was derived by linear regression analysis. Also, the differences in the preference between driver and non-driver were found through the paired t-test, and the significant difference was found in safety and complexity. Furthermore, as a result of linear regression analysis, driver prefer safe and low-complexity scenes. Therefore, in the later landscape composition, it is considered that safety and complexity should be considered in order to reflect driver's viewpoint. 가로경관에 대한 연구가 다수 이루어졌음에도 불구하고, 운전자의 시각에서 바라본 가로경관 선호도 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도로 중앙의 조경 수목과 도로 가장자리의 가로경관에 대한 선호도를운전자와 비운전자로 구분하여 분석함으로써, 운전자와 비운전자의 경관선호도에 대한 차이를 파악하고, 운전자의 선호도를 고려한 가로경관 조성 및 개선을 위한 기초적인 방안을 제시하였다. 사진은 운전자의 시각을고려하기 위해 차량을 타고 운행하면서 촬영하였으며, 설문은 운전자 31 명, 비운전자 34명을 대상으로 촬영한 사진에 대한 선호도 조사를 실시하였다. 설문 시 사용된 사진은 다양한 경관구성요소를 포함하도록 선정하였으며, 각 사진별로 자연성, 개방감, 안전성, 심미성, 복잡성, 선호성을 조사하였다. 설문결과에 대하여 범주형 회귀분석을 실시하여 선호도에 영향을 미치는 경관구성요소를 도출하였고, 경관형용사와 선호도 간의 관계를 선형 회귀분석을 통해 도출하였다. 또한 운전자와 비운전자 간의 선호도에 있어서의 차이를 대응표본검정을 통해 파악한 결과, 안전성과 복잡성에 대하여 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 대한 확인을 위하여 경관형용사와 경관선호도에 대한 선형 회귀분석을 재실시한 결과, 운전자가 비운전자에 비하여 안전성이 높고 복잡성이 낮은 경관에 대하여 선호도가 높다는 결과가 도출되었다. 따라서 추후 가로경관 조성에 있어서 운전자의 시각을 고려하기 위해서는 안전성과 복잡성에 대한 고려가필요하다고 사료된다.

        경관 설치물의 선호도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구: 색채 요소를 중심으로

        Mental stress in people’s daily lives is increasing due to economic development and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred worldwide over the past three years. Accordingly, it has become more important to achieve participatory interactions in outdoor spaces. Among them, landscape installation is an important medium for people to interact with landscape space to interact with people. Research on landscape installation preferences helps develop landscape installation design and promotes people to be more involved in the interaction of landscape installations. The purpose of this study is to understand people’s preferences for landscape installations and to facilitate human interaction with landscape installations, landscape spaces, or other landscapes. The research methodology is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. First, through a literature review, major concepts and prior studies were summarized and the limitations of prior studies were analyzed. Second, the preference for landscape installations is statistically analyzed using the SBE method. Third, I.R.I. image scale analysis of landscape installations, color elements are extracted, and color characteristics of the top 10 landscape installations are analyzed. Fourth, through regression analysis of color elements and SBE values, the level of influence of color elements on landscape installation preferences was analyzed. According to the results, natural colors are used the most frequently among the color application characteristics of current landscape installations, followed by cheerful colors, colorful colors, and decent colors. In addition, it was found that color contrast, colorful color, and cute color had a positive (+) effect on landscape installation preference, and mild color had a negative (-) effect on landscape installation preference. This study provides a preliminary exploration of the color range of preference for landscape installations and also provides reference material for the design and research of future landscape installations. It is important to promote the design of future landscape installations.

        계절별 경관의 시각적 선호도

        When we research a landscape or make a Landscape Impact Assessment, we use the image of a specific season like summer or fall. Since there are four distinct seasons, each with a different landscape, researchers need to understand viewers′visual preferences for individual seasonal landscapes. The purpose of this study is to investigate viewers′visual preferences according to seasonal change and the respondent′s age, gender and profession. In this research, the independent variable is season: suing, summer, fall, winter and snowy winter. Three landscape types used in the experiment: forest, street and agriculture. Each landscape type has two sites for reliability. The assessment media for this research are pictures featuring landscapes taken in each of the four seasons. The study used the "paired comparison" method for taking the score of visual preference. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The summer landscape has the highest visual preference score. However, spring and fall landscapes should also be considered for visual landscape evaluation. 2. The visual preference of winter landscape covered with snow is very high, but since snow is temporal and irregular, it is difficult to consider this factor for visual landscape evaluation. 3. The visual preference score of winter is the lowest of four seasons. The attractive factors of spring are flowers, summer is greenery and fall is autumnal tints. But these are not present in winter. 4. The result of visual preferences according to age groups, gender and profession have no serious differences. 5. Visual preference to scenery of 4 seasons by age group was not different from general preference and thus was concluded to have no connection with age. 6. As a result from the research of visual preference to scenery of 4 seasons by sex, women were shown to like snow-scene more than men. This study presents an indication of general preferences of seasonal landscapes. It is expected that more advanced study will proceed after this one.

        실내조경효과가 백화점 매장선호도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of interior landscape that influence preference at a department store in order to answer the research question; What are the effective factors of interior landscape that affect preference at a department store. After review of the effect of interior landscape, and the interior landscape at a department store, we constructed a literature framework and have formulated the hypothesis of this research. We have analyzed the data which surveyed 108 visitors about the interior landscape in a department store, using factor analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, and the multiple linear regression method. We found that; 1) eleven variables can be selected for the effects of interior landscape at department store: accessibility, image, stay, distinction, comfort, complexity, cleanness, mystery, purification of atmosphere, noise and harmony. Among the 11 independent variables used to study the effect of interior landscape at a department store, the image and purification of atmosphere highly affect preference. 2) These 11 variables are grouped by factor analysis as effects of amenity, attractiveness and identity. 3) As a result of multiple regression analysis, independent variables influencing preference were proved statistically significant at one percent level. 4) Regarding their relative contribution of interior landscape effect at a department store, the effects of amenity was the most important and it showed a level of importance 1.4 times higher than the effect of identity, and 1.25 times higher than the effect of attractiveness. The research results suggest the need for guidelines for the creation of interior landscape at department stores. The approach and analysis method adopted by this research is highly useful for the evaluation of interior landscape criteria at a department store. It is recommended that more practical study on factors affecting user's preference be performed in the future.

        경관 디자인 개선을 위한 서울 동물원의 시각적 선호도 분석

        본 연구는 동물원에 대한 경관이미지 평가 및 선호도 분석을 통해 향후 동물원 특성에 맞는 경관환경디자인을 구현하기 위한 개선안을 모색하기 위한 연구이다. 이를 통해 향후 동물원의 시각적 질을 향상시키고 더불어 동물원 계획 및 설계 시 동물원 경관환경을 좀 더 개선하기 위한 객관적이고 논리적인 기초자료를 제시하고자 하는 것이 연구의 배경이자 목적이다. 연구의 방법은 이론적 고찰과 분석의 틀 제시, 동물원 경관환경 개선을 위한 시각적 선호도 조사 및 이를 통한 경관 디자인 대안제시로 구성되었다. 시각적 선호도 조사는 경관관련 전문가 50인으로 구성된 표본집단을 통해 경관형용사를 이용한 SD Scale 기법을 사용하였다. 설문은 표본집단에 대해 경관사진 13장을 리커트(likert) 7점 척도를 이용하여 선호도 평가를 실시하였다. 사진 선정을 위한 주요 조망점은 정해 놓은 동선을 따라 대략 30~70m 간격을 두고 조망점을 선정하였으며, 사람이 많이 모이는 결절점은 필수로 선정했고, 입구광장, 근경, 중경, 원경이 혼합된 지점, 시각 구조적 측면에서 스카이라인이 형성된 조망점 등을 종합평가하여 주요 조망점 5곳에 대한 대표사진 13장을 시각적 선호도 분석에 활용하였다. 평가 결과를 토대로 한 대안 제시는 각 선호도 순위별로 문제점 도출 및 바람직한 경관 디자인 개선안을 도출하였다. The purpose of this study is to develop a plan to implement the landscape environment design according to the characteristics of the zoo through the evaluation of landscape images and preference analysis of the zoo and is to improve the visual quality of the zoo in the future and to provide basic data for better zoo landscape environment in zoo planning and design. The research method consisted of presenting the theoretical review and analysis framework, the visual preference for improving the landscape environment of the zoo, and it is composed of suggesting a landscape design alternative based on the evaluation result of preference. In the visual preference survey, SD scale method using landscape adjective was used through a sampling group composed of 50 landscape experts and based on the questionnaire sampling, 13 landscape photographs were used to evaluate the preference using the likert scale 7 point scale. The main points of view for the selection of the photographs were selected from the viewpoints spaced about 30~70m apart along the designated lines. The viewpoints where many people gathered were selected as essential, and the entrance square, rhyme, 5 representative viewpoints were selected based on the viewpoints of the skyline in terms of visual structure, and 13 representative photographs were used in this study to evaluate the visual preference. Based on the results of the evaluation, alternative suggestions were developed for each preference order and desirable landscape design improvement plan.

        본 연구는 ‘2021 환경조경대전’ 설계 프로젝트의 후속으로 진행한 연구로 실제 설계안이 경관인식에 어떠한 영향이 있는가에 관심을 두고 출발하였다. 녹지의 중요성에서부터 시작되어 녹시율 및 녹지 접근성 향상 방안을 제안하고, 그에 따른 경관선호도 및 경관특성 변화를 조사하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 먼저 대상지 내 골목길을 선정한 뒤, 설계안에서 제안한 총 24개의 자투리 녹지 모듈을 현장 사진에 시뮬레이션으로 구현하였다. 이렇게 만들어진 자료를 바탕으로 설계안이 경관 인식 개선에 효과가 있는지 알아보기 위해 설문조사를 진행하였다. 젊은이들이 집중 거주하는 지역 특성에 따라 총 82명의 20대를 대상으로 설문이 진행되었다. 설문지는 경관선호도와 경관특성을 알아보기 위한 경관형용사로 구성하였다. 추가로 전공별 차이를 알아보기 위해 조경전공 여부에 대해서도 조사하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같이 세 가지로 정리된다. 첫 번째, 녹시율 증가에 따른 경관선호도 평가를 확인했을 때 녹지 시뮬레이션 이후 사진에 대한 평가가 더 높게 나왔다. 이러한 결과는 녹시율의 증가가 경관선호도 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 나타낸다. 두 번째, 경관형용사를 활용해 경관특성에 대해 조사한 결과 ‘자연적인’ 경관특성이 가장 크게 변화하였다. 이는 녹시율의 증가가 자연적인 경관특성에 영향을 크게 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 세 번째, 전공자와 비전공자의 경관 인식 차이를 조사한 결과 전공자가 녹시율 증가에 더 선호도 변화가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 전공자가 비전공자보다 녹지에 좀 더 민감하게 반응하는 것을 의미한다. 또한 녹지 시뮬레이션 이후 사진에서 ‘안전한’, ‘살고싶은’, ‘조화로운’이 전공자의 점수가 더 높았다. 이는 전공자가 녹지 조성의 효과를 좀 더 폭넓게 이해하고 있다고 해석된다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 골목길에 녹지를 조성하는 것이 실제 골목길 자투리 공간에 긍정적인 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 판단된다. 다만 본 연구 대상이 한정되어 보다 일반화에는 다소 부족하다는 한계가 있다. This study was carried out as a follow-up to the ‘2021 Environmental Landscaping Design Competition’, which I participated. Starting from the importance of green space, this study proposes a plan to improve the Index of Greenness and access to green space in alleyways, and aims to investigate the change in landscape preference and landscape characteristics. After selecting an alleyway in the site, greenery modules for the small spaces in the alleys implemented as simulations in the current photos. A survey was conducted to find out whether the design proposal was effective in improving landscape perception. The survey was conducted with a total of 82 people in their 20’s, according to the characteristics of the region where young people live intensively. The questionnaire consisted of landscape preference and adjectives for landscape characteristics. In addition, to find out the difference between majors, it was also investigated whether they majored in landscape. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that the landscape preference increased as the Index of Greenness increased. It indicates that the increase of the Greenness has a positive effect on the landscape beauty. Second, as a result of investigating landscape characteristics using landscape adjectives, ‘natural’ landscape characteristics changed the most. It can be seen that the increase of the Greenness greatly affects the natural landscape characteristics. Last, comparing landscape majors and non-majors subjects, it was found that landscape majors had a greater difference in landscape preference by the Index of Greenness. This result means that majors respond more sensitively to Greenness than non-majors. Also, in the simulation with more green areas, the scores of the landscape majors were higher in ‘safe’, ‘wanting to live’, and ‘harmonious’. It is interpreted that the landscape majors have a broader understanding of the effect of green space. Based on the results of this study, it is judged that making more green space in the alleyway has a positive effect empirically. However, there is a limitation in that the survey site is limited for more generalization.
