Dynamic Simulation of AGC/LPC Synthetical System for Hot Strip Finishing Mill

A simulation of hot strip finishing mill automatic gauge control (AGC) system is built, which is divided into four modules such as rolling mill system, AGC module, looper system and strip model. The rolling mill system is built by mechanism modeling, the looper system and strip model are built by function modeling, and the AGC model is tried to use intelligent control of a multi-function AGC system. The target is attempted to use this simulation object to minimize finisher exit strip thickness deviation resulting from strip entry thickness disturbance and rolling force deviation. Simulation results show that the result of this AGC/LPC synthetical system module simulation is quite close to the actual result. The simulation system can also analyze most kinds of disturbance which affect the rolling process. It is proved that the system can represent practical situation of hot strip finishing mill process control, and be used as a basic platform of research and development for researcher and engineer.

AGCS is a technology that enables to increase vehicle stability by increase rear-wheel toe at a high speed cornering. The Actuator of existing AGCS has to be big because the system works against the side force. This is a factor of rising cost and makes AGCS optional system of high trim level. In order to improve this, AGCS- is decided to Ⅱ develop by reducing cost through optimization of mechanism.

This paper presents the integration of renewable energy resources into the Automatic Generation Control (AGC) of two area power system under deregulation. Area-1 includes the combination of thermal system, gas power system, aggregate Electric Vehicle (EV), and Dish-Stirling Solar Thermal system (DSTS) whereas area-2 contains thermal system, gas power system, aggregate electric vehicle, and Wind Turbine System (WTS). To achieve the realistic approach, nonlinearities such as Generation Rate Constraint (GRC), Governor Dead Band (GDB), and Boiler Dynamics (BD) are explored in proposed test system. AGC’s main aim is to keep the balance between load and generation and to achieve this balance secondary frequency regulation mechanism play an important role. Therefore, a tilt proportional integral derivative controller has been used to achieve desired dynamic response of the system. A new Quasi Opposition Lion Optimization Algorithm (QOLOA) has been suggested for studied system to get the optimum values of controller and system parameters. Integral Square Error (ISE) is considered as an objective function for the optimization of the anticipated AGC mechanism. Furthermore, Hybrid Energy Storage (HES) is used to damp the oscillation of the considered AGC system. Hence, for this investigation, it consists of the hybridization of the Redox Flow Battery (RFB) and Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) system. Additionally, the sensitivity analysis is also performed to evaluate the robustness of the proposed QOLOA based control scheme. The suggested control mechanism is compared with previously published work on the same platform to show the eff ectiveness and its superiority of presented work
갈릴레오 수신기 설계를 위한 RF 성능 분석에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 갈릴레오 수신기 구조의 요구사항을 검토한 후 시뮬레이션을 통해 RF 성능 파라미터들이 갈릴레오 수신기 성능에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보았다. 먼저 갈릴레오 시스템의 일반사항과 갈릴레오 수신기의 구조 및 특성에 대해 고찰하였고, 갈릴레오 수신기의 성능 분석을 위해 에질런트사의 ADS(Advanced Design System)를 이용하여 15 % EVM에 상응하는 16 dB C/N의 갈릴레오 수신기 성능 요구 규격에 초점을 맞춰 갈릴레오 수신기를 설계하였다. AGC(Automatic Gain Control) 동작을 확인하기 위해 수신 파워에 따른 출력 IF의 변화량을 확인하였으며, 일정한 IF 출력을 통해 정상적인 AGC 동작을 확인하였다. 수신기 입력 파워에 의한 성능 분석과 수신기 국부 발진기의 위상 잡음 변경에 따른 성능 열화 분석을 통해 -127 dBm의 입력 파워에서 EVM(Error Vector Magnitude) 변화를 알아보았다. 또한 AGC의 이득 범위(-2.5 dB ~ +42.5 dB)에 의해 결정된 -92 dBm ~ -139 dBm의 입력 파워에서 ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)의 비트 변경에 따른 성능 분석을 하였으며, LO의 위상 잡음이 감소하고 ADC의 비트가 증가함에 따라 EVM이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

In this paper, the wideband mono-pulse radar using AGC and limiter is designed. The output response characteristics of the mono-pulse radar using AGC and limiter are analyzed, respectively. In addition, the output response for jamming input signals is analyzed. The range tracking loop in the mono-pulse radar has robust output response to the noise jamming input signal. Although the output settling response of the AGC-based mono-pulse radar is larger than that of the limiter-based mono-pulse radar, the AGC-based mono-pulse radar has robustness to the noise jamming input signal due to feedback loop.

Objective : The aim is to derive further studies evaluating the effectiveness of oriental medical treatment on advanced gastric cancer (AGC) patients. We present a case of a stage IV AGC patient who has survived over 8 years. Methods : We followed up all documents related to the patient. We prescribed to the patient HangAmDan (HAD) three times a day over five years. Abdomen CT was performed to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy. Results : The patient has survived over 8 years. Abdomen CT has shown complete regression. Conclusion : This case may give us the possibility of that oriental medical treatment offers potential benefits for patients with AGC.
An Automatic Gain Control Circuits for the Microphone Read-out Integrated Circuit

For the wide dynamic-range (DR) microphone read-out integrated circuit (M-ROIC), high performance ADC and programmable gain amplifier (PGA) are required which occupies large area and consumes large power. But the performance requirement on the ADC can be eased when we employ an automatic gain control (AGC) technique. In this brief, we present a wide DR M-ROIC employing an AGC. We verify the operation of the proposed AGC circuit by SPICE level simulations.
진행성 위암환자에서 Capecitabine/Cisplatin 치료군과 Fluorouracil/Cisplatin 치료군 간의 삶의 질 비교

The improvement of medical treatment and anticancer drug has led a complete recovery and prolonged survival time of cancer patients. And recent study of cancer has included evaluation of quality of life. This study was performed to evaluate quality of life between Capecitabine/Cisplatin arm and Fluorouracil/Cisplatin arm. This study was performed in the Seoul National University Hospital from August to October 2003. A total of 8 AGC patients on adjuvant chemotherapy successfully completed this study. Method of study is questionnairing by EORTC QLQ-C30, cancer specific questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of Functional, Symptom, Global health quality of life scale. Patients eligible for this study had histologically confirmed stage III or IV AGC. Patients were to be between 18 and 60 years old, and have performance status of 1. Patients were ineligible if they had a history of 6 months prior or concomitant chemotherapy, radiotherapy. Statistically significant differences favoring the Fluorouracil/Cisplatin arm was noted in the physical scale. In addition, patients in the Fluorouracil/Cisplatin arm reported an improvement in physical functioning after one cycle chemotherapy.
