Development of Balance on Pillow using new material

Sleep is a necessary element for human beings to eliminate the fatigue of the human body and recreate the mind and body to renew the power of action. Pillows, one of the main factors affecting sleep, should support the body in a natural state in a lying position. Pillow factors for good sleep include size, absorbency, elasticity of inner material, thermal conductivity, and the height of the pillow. This study introduces how select the size of the pillow that suitable for the body of the Korean, and the method of evaluate it by objectively and quantitatively. The pillow was made of new material (veta gel) that harmless to the human body with a 2-layered honeycomb structure. To select the pillow size the neck length, the length of the shoulder, the angle of the cervical vertebrae, and the height between the bottom and the head were considered. The evaluation was performed by body pressure distribution, temperature and humidity change. The cervical vertebrae angle change was measured by comparison 3D upper body image when standing and lying position. Sleep latency test was checked by polysomnography.
일반 김과 기능성 김의 식품성분과 관능평가 비교 분석에 관한 연구

본 연구는 일반 김과 기능성 김의 성분과 관능평가를 비교하기 위하여 전남 신안군에 위치하고 있는 김 제조업체에서 제품을 제공받아 일반 김, 목초액 김, 함초 김, 퉁퉁마디 참숯돌김의 일반성분, 무기질 함량, 중금속 함량, 구성아미노산 분석 및 김을 굽기 전과 구운 후의 관능평가를 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 일반성분은 탄수화물과 조 섬유 함량을 제외하고는 일반 김에 비해 기능성 김에서 높게 나타났다. 무기질 함량에서 칼슘, 칼륨, 구리, 나트륨 함량은 함초김, 철분 함량은 퉁퉁마디 참숯돌김에서 가장 높게 나타났으며 마그네슘과 아연을 제외하고는 기능성 김에서 높게 나타났다. 중금속 함량의 경우 크롬, 카드뮴, 납은 일반 김에서 높았고, 그 외 성분은 퉁퉁마디 참숯돌김에서 약간 더 높게 나타났으나 유의적인 차이는 없었다. 구성아미노산에서 일반 김과 기능성 김에서 대부분 glutamic acid, glycine, isoleucine, phenylalanine이 가장 많이 함유되어 있었으며, 특히 일반 김에 비하여 기능성 김에서 약 3배 정도 많이 나타난 아미노산은 alanine, phenylalanine이었으며, 일반 김과 목초액 김에 비하여 함초 김과 퉁퉁마디 참숯돌김은 serine과 lysine의 함량이 높게 나타난 것을 알 수 있었다. 관능평가결과에서는 김을 굽기 전에는 일반 김과 기능성 김 간의 차이는 없었으나 김을 구운 후에는 일반 김에 비하여 대부분의 기능성 김의 관능평가 결과가 유의적으로 높아졌음을 알 수 있었으며, 특히 목초액 김에 비하여 함초 김의 점수가 더 높게 나타났다. This study is to compare food components and the sensory properties of common and functional Porphyra yezoensis, Pyroligneous liquor, Salicornia herbacea L. and Salicornia herbacea L. treated with oak charcoal. The samples used in this study were provided by a local manufacturer. We analyzed their proximate composition, mineral content, heavy metal content and amino acids. We conducted the sensory evaluation before and after grilling Porphyra yezoensis. Common components are more plentiful in functional Porphyra yezoensis than in common except for carbohydrate and crude fiber. In the case of mineral content, generally functional Porphyra yezoensis contains much more mineral than common except for magnesium and zinc. Especially Salicornia herbacea L. treated with oak charcoal contains abundant iron. Also, Salicornia herbacea L. contains a lot of calcium, potassium, copper and sodium. There is a little more heavy metal except for chromium, cadmium and lead in Salicornia herbacea L. treated with oak charcoal than in common that contains a lot of chromium, cadmium and lead, although a wide difference was not discovered between them. In the case of composed amino acid, there are much glutamic acid, glycine, isoleucine and phenylalanine in both Porphyra yezoensis. Especially alanine and phenylalanine are trebled in functional Porphyra yezoensis. Also, there are far more serine and lysine in Salicornia herbacea L. and Salicornia herbacea L. treated with oak charcoal than in common Porphyra yezoensis and Pyroligneous liquor. In the case of the sensory properties, there isn't a big difference before grilling Porphyra yezoensis; however, after grilling, most functional Porphyra yezoensis had good sensory properties results, especially Salicornia herbacea L. were better than Pyroligneous liquor.
Study for the inhibition of transient receptor potential vanilloid type 1 by gomisin A

Transient receptor potential (TRP) channels play an essential role as environmental sensors in primary afferent neurons. The transient receptor potential vanilloid type 1 (TRPV1) channel, also known as the capsaicin receptor, is critical to chemical and physical sensation, and is regulated by anesthetic chemicals through an unknown mechanism. In the present study, we investigated the effect of gomisin A on human TRPV1 channel activity. Schisandra chinensis contains bio-active compounds such as the gomisin derivatives and their related compounds. Co-application with gomisin A inhibited the capsaicin-mediated inward peak current. This inhibitory effect of gomisin A on capsaicin-induced inward current showed concentration-dependence, and was reversible. The half maximal inhibitory concentration of gomisin A was 62.7 ± 8.4 μM. In addition, this inhibition occurred in a non-competitive and voltage-insensitive manner. Furthermore, molecular docking studies of gomisin A on TRPV1 showed it interacted predominantly with residues at cavities in the segment 1 and 2 of each subunit. Four potential binding sites for this ligand in the extracellular region at sensor domain of TRPV1 channel were identified. Point mutagenesis studies were undertaken, and gomisin A potency decreased for both the Y453A and N467A mutants. The double mutation of Y453 and N467 was significantly attenuated inhibitory effects by gomisin A. In summary, this study revealed the molecular basis for the interaction between TRPV1 and gomisin A, and provides a novel potent interaction ligand.
Exploring the Mediating Effect of Conspicuous Consumption by Utilizing Mobile Phone Brands

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of conspicuous brand usage between brand experience and brand loyalty in relational perspective, and to probe the difference between the positively experienced consumers and the negatives. Research design, data and methodology: Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and other brands were suggested as consideration set to be selected from 223 Amazon Mechanical Turk respondents, and they answered the structured survey of 33 questions made by Qualtrics with 5-point Likert scale. Structural Equations Model (SEM) was employed to test the hypothesized model, and RStudio and SPSS 18 were used to analyze the dataset. Results: It was confirmed that the more consumers have positive brand experience, the more they are loyal to brand. Conspicuous brand usage can be positively mediated, and consumers who experienced high conspicuous brand usage are more likely to be loyal to the brand. Conclusions: It is noteworthy to find the mediating effect of conspicuous brand usage, and the hidden mechanism between brand experience and brand loyalty. Managers can promote positive conspicuous brand usage when consumers get in touch with product and service channels. By providing impressive conspicuous brand experience, the brand loyalty of the band can be enhanced.
Omni-directional Image Matching for Homing Navigation Based on Optical Flow Algorithm

It is known that many insects use optical flow as means of homing navigation. Even though insects have a relatively small number of neurons to estimate spatial information, compared with mammals, insects can maintain high performance of homing navigation to return home. This implies that a navigation model of insect vision using optical flow has high efficiency. There have been suggested many models of optical flow as how to explain accuracy of homing navigation of insects. In this paper, we introduce simple image matching based on optical flowto estimate the movement of agents for homing navigation. The optical flow made from Kanade-Lucas-Tomashi(KLT) algorithm has pattern regularity for agent movements. Hence, the agent can guess its own locomotion pattern, estimate distance from homimg direction, navigate through a distribution of patterns.
