      • 등칡(Aristolochia manshuriensis)의 繁殖에 관한 硏究

        Aristolochia manshuriensis KOM. distributed in the northern parts of Kangweon Province centering Mt. Seorag in Korea is a vigorous and climbing vine. It has been used widely as one of ingredients of chinese medicine. The unusual flowers by virtue of their shape and hue are beautiful, flowered in May and matured in October. The large leaves are coarse in texture, and have been used as arbor, trellis, pergola, and pillar. Therefore, it is now considered as an excellent ornamental plants for Landscape. The objectives of this study were investigation of the suitable propagation methods, comparison of the influence of bed temperature for hardwood cuttings, and determination of the effectiveness of various rooting promotion treatments. The results obtained were as follows. The germination rate 53% when the period of stratification was 70 days. The rooting percentage, rootlet number, and length of root male plants are generally better than those of female plants. The female and male plants cuttings tended to have the largest root system in the 20℃-bed temperature. The female plants treated with 20℃, IBA 1000ppm and 25℃ IBA 1000ppm. The male plants treated with 20℃, IBA 500ppm rooted well.

      • 노박덩굴(Celastrus orbiculatus)의 繁殖에 관한 硏究

        Bittersweet(Celastrus orbiculatus) grown widely in the mountains of Korea is perennial, deciduous and climbing plant. They have strong vines, flower from May to June and mature in October. The red coloured fruits are beautiful, use as the cut-flower materials, and also as the food of birds. This is now considered worthwhile to exploit as an outstanding landscape plant. The objectives of this study were investigation of the suitable propagation methods, reaffirmation of the utility of mist room for softwood cuttings, influence of bed temperature for hardwood cuttings, and determination of the effectiveness of various rooting promotion treatments. The results obtained were summarized as follows. The germination rate was 70% when the period of stratification was 50 days. In softwood cuttings, the rooting percentage and rootlet number tended to be greater in closed moist chamber than those in mist rooms. The rooting percentage, rootlet number and length of root in the 25℃-bed temperature were higher than those in the bed of 20℃ or 30℃ in hardwood cuttings. Cuttings treated with IBA 1000ppm rooted better than those received other hormone treatments in hardwood and softwood cuttings.

      • 寒蘭組織培養에 있어서 Rhizome의 生育과 Shoot 分化에 관한 硏究

        This study was carried out to accelarate the growth of rhizome and shoot formation of Cymbidium kanran. Rhizome used as materials were prepared by seed strile culture and rhizome-tips were placed on the basal medium (Murashige & Skoog) which were supplemented with growth substances. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. Shoot formation at the rhizome-tips was the best in the media supplemented with 0-0.1mg/l BA. Rhizome growth was stimulated in the media supplemented with 0.1mg/l NAA and 4-8mg/l BA. 2. When organic matters were added to basal medium, a noticeable promotion of rhizome growth was observed in the medium containing activated charcoal. 3. The growth of rhizom was promoted when 4% sucrose, 3g/l pepton, or 4g/l yeast extract were added to basal medium. 4. Incorporation of 1.0mg/l BA and 10^-3M L-arginine, L-aspartic acid stimulated shoot formation remarkably under light condition. 5. Growth of rhizome according to light or dark treatment was better under dark than under 16hr illuminated light condition and the rhizome cultured under dark condition was more effective for shoot formation.

      • Beta-차단제와 Hydrochlorothiazide 倂用에 依한 본태성 고혈압 환자의 血淸脂質에 미치는 效果

        Serial changes of serum lipids were observed in 54 patients with essential hypertension, administered several beta-blockers (e.g. acebatolol 400mg, atenolol 50mg, pindolol 10mg, propranolol 160mg, respectiviely) combined with hydrochlorothiazide 25mg for up to 12 weeks. The results were as follows: 1.The blood pressure was normalized at 12 weeks except propranolol group. 2.Seroum total cholesterol was decreased to 11% in both pindolol group and propranolol group, and not remarkable in other groups. 3.Triglyceride was decreased in propranolol group to 50% at 6week and 12 weeks, and not remarkable in other groups. 4.HDL-Cholesterol was decreased from 5% to 20%, most remarkable in propranolo group and decreased in pindolol group to 5% only. 5.Cholesterol ratio was increased only in pindolol group to 4.5% and decreased from 5% to 10% in other groups. In summary, these mild changes of serum lipid profiles alarm the physicians to check serum lipids before and during medication, especially in youger hypertensive and hyperlipidemic patient.

        당의 종류 및 첨가량을 달리한 깨다식의 품질특성

        깨다식의 감미 및 물성 등의 개선을 위해 꿀보다 높은 점도와 hardness를 가지는 쌀엿과 조청 등을 첨가 혼합하여 품질을 조사한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 깨다식의 적정 재료 배합비는 깨가루 100 기준시, 꿀과 쌀엿의 동량 혼합액 50%(w/w)였으며, 이를 기준으로 제조한 깨다식의 이화학적 특성은 당도 17.44 brix˚, tnqns 12.16, 환원당 15.44, 단백질 12.88, 지방 32.02, 조회분 2.82 %이었고, 기계적 특성 중 TPA의 chewiness는 0.28~0.30, hardness는 27.22~27.44 g/㎠이고, 색도의 L값은 41.67, a값 4.58, 그리고 b값은 16.99였다. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of the addition of sweeteners to Sesame Dasiks. Sesame Dasiks were prepared by adding various sweeteners to sesame seeds powder, at 40, 50, 60 and 70%, and their quality characteristics were measured. In the chewiness and hardness analyses of Sesame Dasiks, the 50% group (the same ratio and mixture of honey and lire jelIy) gave the highest results. For the sweetness, taste and overall acceptability of the Sesame Dasiks, the 50% group was also the better The texture profile analyses found the optimal chewiness and hardness of the Sesame Dasik to be 0.28 ~ 0.30 and 27.22 ~ 27.44, respectively.

      • Purge & Trap-GC를 이용한 의약품 필름코팅 정제 중 잔류용제에 관한 연구

        의약품은 약물을 생체에 적풋하기 위하여 유효성분의 효과가 언제나 일정하게 확보되고 사응에 편리하도록 만들어지는 것이므로 유효썽분 이외에 약효에 영향을 주지 않는 성분이 첨가되는 경운가 많다. 이 때 사용되는 용매들은 제피의 광택 및 건쪼시간의 단축 등을 위하여 휘발점이 낮을 용매들이 주로 사용되어진다. 본 연구는 의약품 필름코팅정제 중 잔류용매 4종(chlorofonr benzen, trichloro ethylen, 1,4-dioxane)에 대한 변형된 pirge & trap-GC 장치를 이용한 동시분석방법을 개발하였으며, 각 표준품의 RSD 값은 chloroform 3.03%, benzen 3.17%, trichloroethylen 3.69% and 1,4-dioxane 3.41%였다. 또한 시중 유통중인 의약품 50종에 대하여 잔류웅매 양을 측정하였으며, 검출되는 잔류용매는 한 건도 없었다. This study nras carried out to develope the analytical method for the mixture of chlorefonn, benzen, trichloroethylen and 1,4-dioxane simultaneously and determine the remainingorgauic solvents in coating tablets by Purge & Trap-GC. The results were as follouFs ; 1. Chloroform, benzen, trio:tloroethylen and 1,4-dioxane separated by tenax #5 trap by HP-624GC column by terrlperature programming. The peaks were separated completely at retentiontime of 6.88min for chloroform, 8.21min for benzen, 10.38miu for trichloroethylen and 11.95minfor 1,4-dioxane. 2. Standard RSD were individually chloroform 3.03%, benzen 3.17%, trichloroethylen 3.69%and 1,4-diorane 3.41%. 3. 60 samples were not detrcted chloroform, benzen, trichloroethylen and 1,4-dioxane.

      • Antioxidant Contents and Activities of Naked Oat According to Germination Condition

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant content and activity of naked oat cultivar ‘Choyang’ according to germination condition. The antioxidant content and activity of naked oat were significantly increased after germination compared to raw naked oat. The effect of steeping time (4, 8, 16 h) on antioxidant content and activity of germinated oat was investigated. Total polyphenol and flavonoid contents and antioxidant activity (DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities and FRAP value) substantially decreased with increasing steeping time. This study further investigated the effects of germination temperature (20℃, 25℃, and 30℃) and time (24, 48, and 72 h) on antioxidant content and activity of germinated oat. Total polyphenol and flavonoid contents and antioxidant activity increased with increasing germination temperature and time.       • Effect of the Dietary Supplementation of Cassava by-product on Meat Quality in Pork

        This experiment was conducted to investigate the dietary effects of Cassava by-product (CBP) on meat quality in pork. Growing swine were randomly divided into 3 groups (T0: Commercial diet feed; T3: Commercial diet+ 3% CBP; T6: Commercial diet+ 6% CBP). The meat quality of pork loin were evaluated by proximate composition, pH, drip loss, cooking loss, textural properties and sensory evaluation. The proximate composition, pH and drip loss were not significantly different among the control and treatment group. The cooking loss revealed significantly lower in T6 group than in others (P<0.05). In case of textural properties of boiled pork, shear force, springiness, cohesiveness, gumminess and brittleness were not significantly different among the control and treatment group, whereas hardness was significantly lower in T6 group (P<0.05). In sensory evaluation, the flavor, off-flavor, off-oder, tenderness, juiciness and overall acceptability of boiled pork revealed significantly higher in T6 group than in others (P<0.05). As a result, dietary supplementation of CBP could be recommended for the production of high quality meat.
