InP QDs are being actively studied as non-toxic Cd-free QDs. The application of QDs in photoluminescence is often limited due to incompatibility between QDs and polymers. Herein, the suppression of aggregation is demonstrated in non-toxic solvents such as propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PGMEA), which are commonly used in industrial groups. We functionalized ligands into acrylate group to disperse QDs in a non-toxic solvent. The QDs with acrylate ligands were then reacted with siloxane polymer to form a QD-siloxane matrix by UV curing. The QD-siloxane matrix showed improved stability.

최근 국내에서는 상용화된 뇌파기반 인터페이스(BCI) 구현을 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 안전한 비침습형 뇌파 측정 방법을 사용하여 뇌전도(EEG)를 측정하고 증폭된 데이터를 사용하여 RC카의 4방향 제어가 가능한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 뇌파측정기로 수집된 데이터 셋은 고속 푸리에 변환을 거쳐 사전 정의된 7가지 뇌파의 필터를 통해 집중도와 이완도를 검출하게 된다. 검출된 데이터는 아두이노 우노에 연결된 원격컨트롤러를 통하여 RC카의 전진 및 후진 제어를 담당한다. 또한 추가로 설치된 자이로센서를 통해 입력된 전자신호는 칼만 필터를 이용하여 좌회전 및 우회전 제어를 담당한다. 훈련된 실험자에 의해 실내·외에서 검출된 뇌파가 각기 다른 특성과 머리 회전만으로 상황을 구분하여 RC카 제어를 할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Although lymphoepithelial cysts (LECs) of the pancreas are benign lesions, most of them have been treated with surgical resection due to diagnostic difficulty. We report a 66-year-old woman diagnosed with pancreatic LECs. Abdominal ultrasound revealed two masses in the pancreas, which were not visible on the abdominal computed tomography. In an abdominal magnetic resonance imaging, pancreas lesions showed solid tumors, which revealed a low signal intensity on T1-, moderate high signal intensity on T2 weighted images, and homogeneous delayed enhancement in the portal venous phase. Endosonography (EUS) revealed two hypoechoic round masses measuring 1.5 cm and 4.5 cm in the body and tail of the pancreas, respectively. EUS-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) revealed squamous cells, amorphous keratinous debris, and lymphocytes. The patient was diagnosed with LECs of the pancreas. For the duration of the follow-up period of two years, imaging studies were unchanged. EUS-FNA is useful in making a definite diagnosis and avoiding unnecessary surgery. This is the first case of pancreatic LECs diagnosed with EUS-FNA in Korea. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2017;69:253-258)

Duodenal loop obstruction is an unusual cause of acute pancreatitis. Increased intraluminal pressure hinders pancreatic flow, causing dilatation of the pancreatic duct and inducing acute pancreatitis. We experienced three cases of acute pancreatitis that resulted from duodenal loop obstruction after (1) an esophagectomy with gastric pull-up procedure for esophageal cancer, (2) a gastrectomy with Billroth I reconstruction for gastric cancer, and (3) a gastrojejunostomy for abdominal trauma. An abdominal CT scan revealed a distended duodenal loop, dilated pancreatic duct, and inflamed pancreas with fluid collection. Acute pancreatitis with duodenal loop obstruction was diagnosed by abdominal pain, elevated serum amylase/lipase, and abdominal CT findings. Immediate decompression with a nasogastric tube was performed, and all patients showed improvement within one week after admission. Each patient was followed up for more than two years without recurrence. Our findings suggest the usefulness of nasogastric tube decompression as the first line of treatment for acute pancreatitis related to duodenal loop obstruction. S-98 Renal subcapsular hematoma after endoscopic mucosal resection of colon polyp

A 69-year-old man presented with voiding difficulty, nocturia, and fever for 2 days. He had hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and benign prostate hyperplasia. On physical examination, there were no both costovertebral angle tenderness (CVAT). But urinalysis resusts show blood in urine and the extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Escherichia coli grow from the urine culture. He had undergone endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) for about 3cm sized distal ascending-colon (A-colon) polyp that was later revealed to be intramucosal adenocarcinoma with free resection margins. Prophylactic hemoclips had been placed to prevent delayed bleeding after the procedure. Abdomen and pelvic computed tomography (CT) scan show right renal subcapsular hematoma with suspicious ureteritis and cystitis. Hemoclips on distal A-colon EMR site may induce traumatic right subcapsular hematoma because his distal A-colon is located near the right kidney. And the iatrogenic right renal subcapsular hematoma might make him susceptible to urinary tract infection. The patient had taken intravenous carbapenem antibiotics during hospitalization. The patient was discharged without fever and lower urinary tract symptoms. Such renal subcapsular hematoma following colon EMR is rare, and clipping on colon EMR site may be rare cause of retroperitoneal injury.
