The Frequency Estimation of Weak Signal Based on Chaotic System Fusion Technology

in this paper we use fusion technology based on Rossler chaotic oscillator and proportional differential control technology to detect the frequency of the weak signal. The dynamic character of Rossler equation is analyzed and it is immune against the white noise and the interference signal having larger frequency difference with the intrinsicfrequency of chaotic oscillator. And proportional differential control is used to regulate the system to periodic state and the method of spectrum analysis to detect the unknown frequency. The simulation result verified that the presentedmethod is effective and it is very feasible.
Eu3+ emission in SrAl2B2O7 based phosphors

Eu3+ doped SrAl2B2O7 phosphors were fabricated by the wet method. The structures of the phosphors were characterized by XRD. The doping content of Eu3+ ions in SrAl2B2O7:Eu3+ phosphors are 1%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% (molar fraction), respectively. Luminescence properties were analyzed by measuring the excitation and photoluminescence spectra. The luminescent properties of SrAl2B2O7:Eu3+ phosphors are discussed. It is shown that from 4% to 6% of doping content of Eu3+ ions under 392 nm excitation in SrAl2B2O7:Eu3+ phosphors is optimum.
Preparation and Effect Analysis of {10–12} Extension Twins at the Edge of AZ31 Magnesium Alloy Plate

The edge samples of AZ31 magnesium alloy plate after hot rolling and annealing were compressed along the rolling direction(RD) under different deformation conditions. Then, the optimal conditions for the generation of {10–12} extension twinsand the microtexture evolution of edge samples were studied by using EBSD. The results show that the texture strength ofthe hot-rolled AZ31 magnesium alloy plate was significantly greater than that of the middle part. When the compressivestrain along the RD was small at the edge of the rolled piece at room temperature, a large number of extension twin layerswere generated. Grain matrix and twins coexisted. As the strain increased to 8.19%, the grains completely transformed intoextension twins. Along with the generation of extension twins, hard-oriented grains were consumed in large quantities andthe weakening effect of the basal texture was proportional to the volume fraction of the extension twins, while at high temperature(250 °C), the slip dominated the plastic deformation process.
Proteome analysis reveals global response to deletion of mrflbA in Monascus ruber

Monascus spp. are commonly used for a wide variety of applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. In previous studies, the knock-out of mrflbA (a putative regulator of the G protein α subunit) in M. ruber led to autolysis of the mycelia, decreased pigmentation and lowered mycotoxin production. Therefore, we aimed to obtain a comprehensive overview of the underlying mechanism of mrflbA deletion at the proteome level. A two-dimensional gel electrophoresis analysis of mycelial proteins indicated that the abundance of 178 proteins was altered in the ΔmrflbA strain, 33 of which were identified with high confidence. The identified proteins are involved in a range of activities, including carbohydrate and amino acid metabolism, hyphal development and the oxidative stress response, protein modification, and the regulation of cell signaling. Consistent with these findings, the activity of antioxidative enzymes and chitinase was elevated in the supernatant of the ΔmrflbA strain. Furthermore, deletion of mrflbA resulted in the transcriptional reduction of secondary metabolites (pigment and mycotoxin). In short, the mutant phenotypes induced by the deletion of mrflbA were consistent with changes in the expression levels of associated proteins, providing direct evidence of the regulatory functions mediated by mrflbA in M. ruber.
Improvement of Scanlan’s Nonlinear Model based on Residual Analysis

Scanlan’s semi-empirical nonlinear model has been widely applied in bridge engineering because of its simplicity. However, it is based on the oscillation displacement, and thus it fails to describe the Vortex-induce Vertical Force (VIVF) on a flat closed-box bridge deck. In the study, in order to better depict VIVFs, a new improved model was proposed. First, the residual of the Vortexinduced Vertical Force (VIVF) is regular and maintains the significant quadratic relation with the VIVF reconstructed by Scanlan’s model, which means Scanlan’s model needs to be improved by adding quadratic terms. Second, an appropriate quadratic term was a dot product of dimensionless displacement and velocity, because this term has a significant linear relation with the reconstructed VIVF in the residual plot, and is independent of the other terms in Scanlan’s model. Furthermore, in lock-in range, the maximum oscillation displacement of a blunt body at different wind speeds was predicted by the proposed model. Simulation results showed that the proposed model is suitable for describing the nonlinearity of the VIVF and well fit the measured data. Due to simplicity, validity, and parameters to be easily identified, the proposed model has potential application in engineering.
