The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of perception of error, deliberate practice, and perceived performance of University Taekwondo Athletes. To this end, 321 Taekwondo athletes (male 207, female 114) participated in this study. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression using SPSS 22.0 version. The results revealed as follow. First, learning from error, error risk taking, and thinking about error had a positive effect on deliberate practice. Second, learning from error and thinking about error had a positive effect on performance satisfaction while error risk taking and thinking about error had a positive effect on will to win. Third, deliberate practice had a positive effect on performance satisfaction and will to win. In conclusion, athletes’ perception of error is key component to enhance deliberate practice and perceived performance. Furthermore, deliberate practice was also identified as a variable that improves perceived performance.
GG-38 : Minimal invasive surgery (LESS) for huge cystic adnexal tumors in whole abdomen

Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) is helpful if not an evidence of suspicious malignancy in huge adnexa tumors. This approach might be reasonable alternative to conventional laparoscopic surgery. We report two cases with LESS for huge cystic adnexal tumors in whole abdomen. A 58 years old multigravida woman in menopause underwent removal of a huge cystic adnexal mass that occupied her entire abdomen by LESS.(ca.5200ml aspiration) A 15 years old single nulligravida woman had a huge cystic adnexal tumor in whole abdomen reaching to the level of the xyphoid process. A needle through the transumbilical single port was inserted directly under the mass. Subsequently, 8000 ml of cystic fluid was aspirated without spillage.

밀양 204호는 작물과학원 영남농업연구소 생명공학연구팀이 직파적응 제초제저항성 벼 품종을 육성할 목적으로 '98년 bar 유전자를 동진벼에 아그로박테리움법으로 형질 전환하여 제초제저항성 벼를 양성하였다. '98/'99년 동계에 단간 내도복 양질인 주남벼를 인공교배하여 약배양 등 육종프로그램에 적용하여 우량계통을 선발하고 밀양 204호로 계통명을 부여하였다. GM 벼와 Non-GM 벼의 농업적 특성을 UPOV 및 국립종자관리소의 품종등록 기준에 따른 농업적특성 중 차이가 있었던 것은 엽색도, 지엽의 형태, 간장, 수당립수 등 이었다. This study was conducted to investigated the major characteristics of genetically modified rice of 'Milyang 204' originated from Dongjinbyeo compared to a non-transgenic rice varieties Dongjinbyeo and Jun-ambyeo. Basta resistant transgenic rice lines carrying bar gene produced by the Yeongnam Agricultural Research Institute were evaluated for their agronomic characters. The transgenic Japonica rice of 'Milyang 204' showed inferior phenotypic traits compared to a non-transgenic rice variety Dongjinbyeo and Junambyeo. On the basis of UPOV (Union Internationale Pour la Protaection des Obtentions Vegetables) and NSMO(National Seed Management Office) the transgenic 'Milyang 204' showed difference in some traits out of some agronomic traits, such as leaf color, angle of flag leaf, number of spikelets, culm length, white core and white belly compared to the non-transgenic varieties rice.

<P>CYP2C19 loss-of-function (LOF) alleles adversely affect clinical outcome of clopidogrel therapy. Recent introduction of a newer-generation drug-eluting stent (DES) has significantly reduced the occurrence of stent thrombosis.The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of CYP2C19 LOF alleles on clinical outcome in patients treated with the newer-generation DES.The effects of CYP2C19 genotypes were evaluated on clinical outcome of clopidogrel therapy in 2062 patients treated with percutaneous coronary intervention using either first-generation DES (sirolimus- and paclitaxel-eluting stent, n = 1349) or newer-generation DES (everolimus- and zotarolimus-eluting stent, n = 713). The primary clinical outcome was major cardiac and cerebrovascular event (MACCE) including cardiac death, nonfatal myocardial infarction, stroke, and stent thrombosis during 1 year of follow-up.CYP2C19 LOF alleles were significantly associated with a higher risk of MACCE in patients treated with first-generation DES (hazard ratio [HR] 2.599, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.047-6.453; P = 0.034). In contrast, CYP2C19 LOF alleles were not associated with primary outcome in newer-generation DES (HR 0.716, 95% CI 0.316-1.622; P = 0.522). In the further multivariate analysis, CYP2C19 LOF alleles were not associated with MACCE in patients receiving newer-generation DES (adjusted HR 0.540, 95% CI 0.226-1.291; P = 0.166), whereas they were demonstrated to be an independent risk factor for MACCE in those implanted with first-generation DES (adjusted HR 3.501, 95% CI 1.194-10.262; P = 0.022).In contradiction to their clinical impact in first-generation DES era, CYP2C19 LOF alleles may not affect clinical outcome of clopidogrel therapy in patients treated with newer-generation DES.</P>

The interference between closely placed co-coverage satellites was analyzed. In general, a satellite network may use different orthogonal polarizations and frequencies to increase the throughput of a satellite. However, when orthogonal linear polarization (horizontal polarization and vertical polarization) or orthogonal circular polarization (left-handed circular polarization and right-handed circular polarization) is used, the signal from one polarization sense to another may be coupled, resulting in cross-polarization interference. This signal-coupling arises due to the finite value of the cross-polarization discrimination of the earth station. In this study, field equations were used to analyze the interference between adjacent satellites using co-frequency. The level of interference was compared to that when two adjacent satellites used the same polarization. The simulation results show that the interference mainly depends on the off-axis co-polar pattern and the cross-polar pattern of the earth station antenna.

Aims: Tonicity-responsive enhancer binding protein (TonEBP) is a transcription cofactor at the promoters of inflammatory genes including TNFα and COX-2. In a mouse model of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), TonEBP expression is dramatically higher in the tumors compared to surrounding hepatic tissues. Experiments with genetically modified animals show that higher TonEBP expression leads to more and bigger tumors demonstrating a critical role of TonEBP in tumor initiation and development (unpublished observations). Aim of this study was to investigate the role of TonEBP in patients with HCC. Methods: A total of 296 patients who underwent hepatic resection for HCC at the Ulsan University Hospital were included in the study. All the patients were HCC treatment-naive before surgery and had a grossly complete resection. Fixed tissues were used to prepare tissue microarrays to quantify TonEBP expression. Results: TonEBP expression was higher in tumors compared to their surrounding non-tumor in 92.6% (274/296) of the patients. The median postoperative follow-up period was 31 months (range = 1-105 months). Postoperative recurrence was observed in 144 cases (48.7%). The 1-, 3-, and 5-year HCC recurrence rates were 32.7%, 51.8%, and 61.1%, respectively. Extrahepatic metastasis and death were observed in 61 (20.6%) and 84 (28.4%) of cases, respectively. Higher TonEBP expression in non-tumor and tumor was associated with tumor size, vascular invasion, and advance tumor grade. As for recurrence, multivariate analysis revealed that tumor size, microvascular and lymphovascular invasion along with higher non-tumor TonEBP expression displayed strong association. As for extrahepatic metastasis, ALT, albumin, microvascular and lymphovascular invasion along with higher non-tumor TonEBP expression displayed strong association. The presence of microvascular invasion, albumin, and higher tumor TonEBP expression were significantly associated with reduced overall survival. Conclusions: TonEBP is strong post-operative prognosticator of poor outcome including recurrence, metastasis, and death. TonEBP is an attractive candidate for biomarker of HCC and a therapeutic target.

<P>The spin field-effect transistor, an essential building block for spin information processing, shows promise for energy-efficient computing. Despite steady progress, it suffers from a low-output signal because of low spin injection and detection efficiencies. We demonstrate that this low-output obstacle can be overcome by utilizing direct and inverse spin Hall effects for spin injection and detection, respectively, without a ferromagnetic component. The output voltage of our all-electric spin Hall transistor is about two orders of magnitude larger than that of previously reported spin transistors based on ferromagnets or quantum point contacts. Moreover, the symmetry of the spin Hall effect allows all-electric spin Hall transistors to effectively mimic n-type and p-type devices, opening a way of realizing the complementary functionality.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
데드리프트와 업라이트로우 시 운동강도에 따른 근활성도 평가

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate 16 muscles activity according to three exercise intensity when performing Deadlift and Upright row. Method: To accomplish the purpose of the study, subjects (n=10) were performed Electromyography (EMG) measurement for 16 different muscles. The experimental movements were Deadlift and Upright row, measured five times for each intensity (40%, 60%, 80%) of 1RM. This study normalized the EMG values through RVC for comparative analysis. Results: The results were summarized as follows: As a result of Deadlift, there was significant difference in the mean EMG value according to the exercise intensity in all muscles except RA, PM and BB (p<.05). As a result of Upright row, There was significant difference in the mean EMG value according to the exercise intensity in all muscles except BF, TA, GN, RA and UT (p<.05). Conclusion: This study allowed us to know the activities of major muscles according to the exercise intensity for 16 different muscles when performing Deadlift and Upright row.
Design of trimodal Fe micro-nanopowder feedstock for micro powder injection molding

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The design of the trimodal powder feedstock and its feasibility for micro powder injection molding (μ-PIM) were investigated. The feedstock was prepared by mixing Fe micropowder (D<SUB>50</SUB> =4μm) and nanopowder agglomerate composed of a bimodal particle distribution (D<SUB>50</SUB> =330nm and D<SUB>50</SUB> =30nm, respectively) with low viscosity wax-based binders. The homogeneity of the feedstock was evaluated by torque rheometer, microstructure observations, binder burnout analysis, and an extrusion test. The trimodal concept in this study effectively improved the powder loading up to 72vol%, and the feedstock with 70vol% powder loading exhibited good homogeneity and flowability. By using the feedstock, the microparts were successfully replicated with sufficient shape retention to be potentially useful for a range of μ-PIM applications.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A novel design concept is reported to produce trimodal powder feedstock for μ-PIM. </LI> <LI> Fe nanopowder agglomerates show a bimodal size distribution of 330nm and 30nm. </LI> <LI> Feedstock homogeneity is evaluated by mixing torque, extrusion, SEM, and TGA. </LI> <LI> Feedstock with 70vol% powder loading exhibits a high homogeneity and moldability. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
