하청 근로자들의 건강수준 평가

목 적 : 하청노동을 이용한 노동 유연화 전략은 근로자들의 고용을 불안정시키고, 근로자들의 삶에 부정적 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 하청업체 근로자들의 고용현황을 조사하고, 기존의 업체중심의 건강평가의 문제점을 지적하고자 하였다. 또한 하청업체 근로자들의 건강평가의 현재적 의미와 사회적 배제의 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 모기업과 하청업체 근로자들의 건강수준을 비교하기 위하여, 정기건강진단(일반, 특수)과 채용건강진단 자료를 이용하고자 하였다. 건강진단에서 누락된 비정규직을 포괄하기 위하여 SF-36을 이용하여 건강설문조사를 시행하였다.결 과 : 조선업 하청업체 근로자들의 고용기간은 짧고, 빈번한 노동이동 현상을 보였다. 3년간 건강진단 수검 현황을 통해 살펴볼 때, 1998년 수검자중 2000년까지 연속해서 검진 받은 수검자는 40.3%였다. 건강진단 결과 유소견자 규모를 통해 모기업과 하청업체간의 건강수준을 비교해 보았다. 모기업은 일반질병 요관찰자와 질병자를 포함한 유소견자가 1,011명으로 약 10 %의 유소견율을 보이고 있고, 질병자의 경우 596명으로 유병률이 5 %를 상회하고 있다. 반면 하청업체의 경우 1,967명의 수검자중 유소견자가 115명으로 6 %의 유소견율을 보이고있고, 질병자는 82명으로 4 %의 유병률을 보이고있다 채용건강진단을 받은 수검자는 6,260명 이었으며, 이 중 유소견자 수는 2,373명으로 전체 수검자의 37.9 %를 차지하였다. 건강설문지의 경우는 전체 건강수준의 총합은 하청보다 원청 근로자가 높았고 통계적으로 유의하였다. 결 론' 정기건강검진 결과는 하청근로자들이 고용형태에 따라 검진을 받지 못한 경우가 많아, 건강 근로자 효과로 표현될 가능성이 있다. 따라서 채용건강진단 결과는 다른 측면에서 하청업체 근로자들의 건강수준의 현실적 반영이라고 할 수 있다. 향후 하청업체 근로자들의 건강문제를 감시하고 개선하려면 기존의 업체 중심의 접근으로는 하청 근로자의 건강문제를 제대로 다룰 수 없고, 업종과 지역을 동시에 고려하여 접근할 필요가 있다. 또한 단기 고용 근로자 및 비정규직 근로자를 사회보장의 확충과 모기업의 연대책임 강화 및 기업복지 차원에서 포괄하는 방안이 모색되어야 하겠다. Objectives : The strategy for the labor flexibility through subcontracted labor have brought a negative effect on the lives of the workers, such as the increase of the unstable employment. This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between the employment of subcontracted firms and the health status of them, and to find out some problems which have been caused in the process of health evaluation and the characteristics of social exclusion. Methods : We reviewed the periodical health examination and preemployment health examination in order to compare health status of the subcontracted workers with those of the parent firm workers. The SF-36 questionnaire was administered to assess the self-perceived health status. Results : The result shows that compared to the working duration of the parent firm workers, those of the subcontracted workers were shorter, and the job transfer rate was higher. In the periodical health examination, the prevalence of occupational and general disease was higher in the parent firm(10%) than in the subcontracted firms(6%). Preemployment health examination plays an important role in worker's health manage- ment. Among 6,260 workers who received preemployment health examination, the prevalence of disease was 37.9%. Mean scores of health status measured by SF-36 were lower in the subcontracted firm than in the parent firm. Conclusions : Due to social exclusion of the subcontracted workers from the periodical health examination, there is a possibility that the periodical health examination have the healthy worker effect. These results suggests that the preemployment health examination could be a more appropriate indicator which is able to assess the health status of the subcontracted workers than the periodical health examination.

The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma presenting as obstructive jaundice is 0.7 -9% The mechanisms of obstructive jaundice include bile duct invasion by tumor, tumor thrombi, blood clots, direct bile duct compression by tumor, and intraductal tumor growth. We report a rare case of hepatocellular carcinoma with intraductal growth A 46-year-o1d woman was admitted due to colicky right upper abdominal pain and jaundice for 4 days Computed tomography showed dilatation of the left intrahepatic duct, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiography showed a filhng defect in the left main intrahepatic duct. We performed a left lobectomy with a Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy. The tumor was diagnosed as a hepatocellular carcinoma with intraductal growth.

Gullian Barre Syndrome is an acute symmetric polyradiculoneuropathy that typically presents as a progressive flaccid paralysis. The pathology is believed to be caused by both cellular and humoral immune processes The possibility of death is 3-5% and About 20% of patients require mechanical ventilaton. Recently We have experienced a patient who had suspected Gullian Barre Syndrome for 60days, his condition weakness and pain was impoved through the herb and acupucture Therefore I reported it for the treatment.

Evaluation of Cellulose Electro-Active Paper Made by Tape Casting and Zone Stretching Methods

Cellulose has been discovered as a smart material that can be used as sensor and actuator material. In this paper, cellulose smart material termed as electro-active paper (EAPap) is prepared by an automated process that includes tape casting and zone stretching. To evaluate characteristics of the EAPap, its Young's modulus and piezoelectric charge constant are measured depending on the orientation angle, in comparison with the manually fabricated EAPap results. The zone stretching method can effectively align the cellulose fibers in the EAPap so as to improve its Young's modulus as well as piezoelectric charge constant. The 0 degree oriented sample shows its maximum Young's modulus and the 45 degree oriented sample exhibits the maximum piezoelectric charge constant. This 45 degree is associated with its shear piezoelectricity. The actuator performance of EAPap is evaluated by measuring its bending displacement depending on the orientation angle and the excitation voltage. The 45 degree oriented sample exhibits the maximum bending displacement. Details of the material preparation, the automation process, characterization and the actuator performance are addressed. This automated process that includes tape casting and zone stretching is suitable for mass production of the EAPap.

Electro-active paper for a durable biomimetic actuator

<P>Cellulose electro-active paper (EAPap), known as a smart material, has merits in terms of low voltage operation, light weight, dryness, low power consumption, biodegradability, abundance and low price. Since EAPap requires low power consumption, a remotely driven actuator has been proposed using microwave power transmission. This concept is attractive for many biomimetic systems such as crawling micro-insect robots, flying objects like dragon flies and smart wallpapers. However, the actuation performance of EAPap is sensitive to humidity and degrades with time. Thus, in this paper, a durable EAPap is studied. The fabrication of EAPap is explained and the actuation performance is shown with applied electric field, frequency, humidity level and time. The fabrication process includes dissolving cellulose fibers, eliminating solvent and Li ions with a mixture of deionized water and isopropyl alcohol, washing with water, drying and coating with gold. The morphology of the fabricated EAPap is analyzed by taking scanning electron microscope images and x-ray diffractograms. The actuation performance is tested in terms of bending displacement with frequency, time and humidity level </P>

지상파 드라마의 장르가 디지털 융합형 VOD 구매에 미치는 영향분석 연구

본 연구의 배경 및 목적은 다음과 같다. 최근 비선형 시청행위 확산에 따라 TV 및 N스크린 서비스 등을 기반으로 하는 디지털 융합형 VOD에 대한 소비자들의 요구가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구들은 대부분 가입자의 기억에 의존하는 설문조사에 기반하고 있어, 실질적인 이용행태에 대한 데이터 분석이 용이 하지 않았으며, 유·무료 이용의 구분이 명확하지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 디지털케이블가입자가 실제 이용한 유료 VOD 데이터를 기반으로 한 실질적 분석을 시도하였다. 본 연구의 연구방법 및 내용, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 본 연구에서는 디지털케이블가입자들이 이용한 유료 VOD 실제 데이터를 기반으로 VOD의 주 매출원 중 하나이고 18개월간 편성된 지상파 드라마 101편을 분석대상으로, 드라마 장르가 VOD 구매에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 자료 분석은 PASW(Predictive Analytics SoftWare) Statistics 18 통계프로그램을, 드라마 장르가 구매에 미치는 영향은 일원변량분석 (Analysis of Variance, ANOVA)을 통해 분석하였고, 드라마 장르는 로맨틱, 가족, 사극, 액션, 전문, 멜로로 구분하였다. 분석 결과, 분석대상 101개 지상파 드라마의 VOD 편당 평균 구매건수는 약 4,152건으로 나타났으며, 드라마 장르별로 보면 액션장르 드라마의 평균 구매건수가 6,860회로 가장 높게 나타났고, 사후 검증 결과 로맨틱장르와 사극장르가 멜로장르에 비해 구매가 높게 나타났다. The purpose of the paper is as in the following. As the broadcasting environment is changing and the nonlinear viewing patterns are getting generalized, the needs for digital convergence type VOD service of consumers are increasing. But most of the preceding studies on the similar topic were mainly focused on the subscribers’ VOD consumption patterns. Moreover, not only most of those studies were just based on questionnaires, but there was also no obvious distinction between free and paid VOD service. To make up for the weak points of those previous studies, this paper deals with the actual paid VOD consumption data to make this study of more academic values. The research method, content, and result of the paper is as in the following. This study analyzed the effect of the genres of TV dramas on the terrestrial broadcasting channels to purchase VOD contents. The genres of the contents are categorized as romantic dramas, family dramas, historical dramas, action drama, professional setting dramas, and melo dramas. As a result of the research, this study has analyzed 101 drama series which had been aired on the terrestrial broadcasting channels and then aired on VOD. It turns out that the average number of purchasing drama VOD per episode is 4,152. As to the genres, action genre recorded the highest number in average VOD purchases as 6,860. And the post hoc tests prove that romantic and history dramas are more favored than melo dramas.

<P>Glucocorticoids (GCs) are essential steroid hormones for homeostasis, development, metabolism, and cognition and possess anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive actions. Since glucocorticoid receptor II (GR) is nearly ubiquitous, chronic activation or depletion of GCs leads to dysfunction of diverse organs, including the heart and blood vessels, resulting predominantly from changes in gene expression. Most studies, therefore, have focused on the genomic effects of GC to understand its related pathophysiological manifestations. The nongenomic effects of GCs clearly differ from well-known genomic effects, with the former responding within several minutes without the need for protein synthesis. There is increasing evidence that the nongenomic actions of GCs influence various physiological functions. To develop a GC-mediated therapeutic target for the treatment of cardiovascular disease, understanding the genomic and nongenomic effects of GC on the cardiovascular system is needed. This article reviews our current understanding of the underlying mechanisms of GCs on cardiovascular diseases and stress, as well as how nongenomic GC signaling contributes to these conditions. We suggest that manipulation of GC action based on both GC and GR metabolism, mitochondrial impact, and the action of serum- and glucocorticoid-dependent kinase 1 may provide new information with which to treat cardiovascular diseases.</P>
