        아임계 및 초임계수하의 p-Xylene 의 무촉매 부분 산화반응에서 반응조건이 Terephthalic acid 의 선택성에 미치는 영향

        아임계와 초임계수 매체하에서 p-xylene을 과산화수소에 의해 무촉매로 부분 산화시켜 terephthalic acid(TPA)를 제조하는가능성을 실험적으로 검토하였다. 회분식 반응실험을 통해 p-xylene의 새로운 산화 분해 경로를 제시하였다. 반응 시작 후 20분이 경과하였을 때 p-xylene의 전화율은 아임계수 조건에서 89.0% 이상이었고, 초임계수 조건에서는 99.0% 이상으로 온도가 높아질수록 증가하였다. TPA의 선택성은 초임계수 조건보다는 아임계수 조건에서 더 높았으며, 특히 온도 300 ℃, 압력 220 bar, 과산화수소 주입비 50%일 때 TPA수율은 29.0%로 최대값을 나타내었다. 또한 TPA 선택성에 미치는 압력의 영향은 초임계수보다는 아임계수 조건에서 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. The possibility of manufacturing the terephthalic acid(TPA) by partial oxidation of p-xylene without a catalyst in subcritical and supercritical water medium was investigated experimentally. The effects of reaction condition such as reaction temperature, pressure and hydrogen peroxide feed ratio on the conversion of p-xylene and the selectivity of TPA produced were investigated in batch reactor and new oxidation reaction pathway of p-xylene was proposed. Conversion of p-xylene was about 89.0% in subcritical condition and increased with the temperature increasing, over 99.0% in supercritical condition after 20 minutes from the start of reaction. The selectivity of TPA in subcritical conditions was higher than in supercritical conditions and the maximum value was 29.0% at 300 ℃, 220 bar, 50% H_2O_2 feed ratio. The pressure effect on TPA selectivity was higher at subcritical water condition than at the supercritical condition.

        The pneumoretroperitoneum has many etiologies. These range from the clinically insignificant to the potentially fatal, if not recognized promptly. Spontaneous pneumoretroperitoneum can develope from ulcerative colitis, colonic diverticulitis, or duodenal ulcer perforation. It can be associated with pneumothorax, pneumomediastinum, respiratory tract rupture, etc. An isolated pneumoretroperitoneum are a more obscure symptom than a pneumoperitoneum. Mostly, the diagnosis of retroperitoneal air depends of radiologic methods, such as simple X-ray, ultrasound (US), or computerized tomography (CT) measurements. In this case, we diagnosed a pneumoretroperitoneum from CT and found that if caused the perforation of the colon spontaneously, without any underlying diseases, due to chronic constipation without underlying diseases

      • 증기발생기 세관에서 결함 선단 변화에 따른 와전류 결함신호의 분석

        Eddy current signals from flaws with tip variation in steam generator tubes were analyzed. Using finite element models, abundant flaw signals from two dimensional axisymmetric flaws will tip variation were generated. Features of ECT signal were defined and extracted, and sensitive features for flaw classification and sifting were selected. Two neural networks were employed for flaw characterization and sizing. The intercept vector was introduced as a new feature, and its usefulness was discussed.

      • 잡초성벼의 superoxide dismutase cDNA cloning과 재배벼로의 형질전환

        냉해나 한발등의 환경스트레스에 대해 저항성을 유발하는 유전자를 환경스트레스에 강한 잡초성벼로부터 선발하고 이들 유전자를 재배벼에 도입하여 도입유전자 산물의 과량 발현을 통해 냉해나 한발 등에 대한 저항성이 향상된 벼를 선발하고자 하였다. 잡초성벼인 Bhutan 14Ad로부터 냉해 및 한발 저항성 유전자로 알려진 superoxide dismutase (SOD) cDNA를 분리하고자 mRNA를 분리하고 이 분리된 mRNA를 이용해 reverse transcriptase PCR방법으로 SOD cDNA를 cloning 하였다. 그 결과 2종의 SOD cDNA가 cloning되어 SOD-A, SOD-B로 명명하였다. 이들 cDNA의 염기서열을 결정한 결과 이들은 아미노산 서열 상동성이 88.4%를 나타내었으며, SOD-A는 oryza sativa 계열의 Cu/Zn SOD유전자인 GenBank accession No. L36320와 99.3%로 동일하였으며, SOD-B는 accession No. D01000과 100% 동일하였다. 이들 SOD-A와 SOD-B cDNA를 재배벼인 낙동벼에 형질전환하여 형질전환체 벼를 선발하였으며, 이들 형질전환체 벼의 냉해저항성 및 한발저항성 검정을 통해 저항성이 향상된 형질전환체 벼를 선발하고 있다. Two different cDNA clones for superoxide dismutase (SOD) were isolated from an weedy rice variety (Oryza sativa, cv. Bhutanl4Ad) and were introduced into a cultivated rice variety (Oryza sativa, cv. Nakdong) in order to develop the environmental stress-resistant rice plants. Sequence analysis of the cloned cDNAs indicated that the deduced amino acid sequence of SOD-A is 88.4% identical to that of SOD-B. Furthermore, the nucleotide sequence of SOD-A is 99.3% identical to that of a Cu/Zn SOD gene of Oryza sativa (GenBank accession No. L36320). The nucleotide sequence of SOD-B was identical to that of the previously published SOD gene (Accession No. D01000). A cultivated rice variety, Nakdong-byeo, was transformed with chimenc SOD genes containing a actin promoter of rice and pin2 terminator using a particle bombardment technique. Transformed calli were selected on an selection medium containing phosphinothricin (PPT). Transgenic rice plants were regenerated from the PPT-resistant calli. PCR analysis with genomic DNAs from transgenic plants revealed that transgenes are introduced into rice genome.

      • CATV 망에서의 고속 DATA 서비스를 위한 적정 셀 규모에 관한 연구

        Recently the surrounding of data communication industry has been changing through the rapid growth of the information technology, which has been sparked by the convergence of computer and optical fiber technology. This phenomenon requires broadband network to transmit video, audio and data at once. Multimedia and broadband services are provided widely over the Internet. The traditional telephone companies, CATV operators, and Internet service providers are all rushing to provide integrated services over their infra-structures. Among them, CATV seems to be the most promising from an economic perspective, because CATV infrastructure is already in place in a majority of homes and can deliver broadband service without requiring costly upgrade of the existing CATV systems. In this paper, analysis the problem of data services over CATV network, suggest size the proper cell for the high speed data services over CATV network.

      • 백화사설초 메탄올 추출물에 의한 HL-60 세포고사과정에 있어서의 transcriptional factors 활성변화 연구

        Objective : Hedyotis diffusa has been used as an arnicancer agent for several decades in oriental medicine. We test whether the methanol extract of the herb affects transcriptional activation factors including NF-κB and AP-l. Methods : 1. HL-60 cells were treated with various concentrations(from 200 to 50ug/ml) of methanol extract and H_2O extract(200ug/ml)of hedyotis diffusa, After 48h later, the cells were tested for viability by MTT assay. 2. The HL-60 cells were treated with 200ug/ml of methanol extract for the indicated periods. First. Nuclear extracts were isolated and incubated with oligonucleotide probe of NF-κB and AP-l. Second. Nuclear extracts were isolated and reacted with p50, p65. c-rel par-Jun, c-Jun, JunB. JunD antibody on ice for 30min. Finally The cell lnates were prepared and analyzed by westem blotting using anti-Fas, anti-FasL and anti-p53 antibdy. Results : l. The methanol extract decreases the viability of human lymphoid origin leukemia HL-60 cells in a dose-depemdemt manner. 2. NF-κB is rapidly activated by the addition of the methanol extract, reaches a peak at 30min and gradually returns to resting level. We confirm tha NF-κB is a heterodimer mainly composed of p65 subunit with c-Rel. 3. Transcriptional activation of AP-1 is detected at 30min and reaches a maximum at lhr after stimulation of the cells with the methanol extract. AP-l is mainly composed with Jur-D and partially Jug-B proteins. 4. the methanol extract of Hedyotis diffusa induces the expression of Fas, Fas ligand and p53 proteins of HL-60 cells in a time dependent fashion. Conclusions : These results suggest that the methanol extract of Hedyotis diffusa exerts anticancer effects to induce the death of human leukomic HL-60 cells via activation of trascriptional factors such a NF-κB and AP-1, increase in expression of Fas mediated signaling proteins, and induction of tumor suppressor gene. p53

        물류유통부문에서의 유비쿼터스 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

        최근 IT산업의 발전과 더불어 유비쿼터스라는 용어가 일반화되고 있다. 1984년 도쿄대학의 사카무라 겐 교수가 중심이 되어 TRON(The Realtime Operating System Nucleus) 프로젝트에 의해 '모든 곳에 컴퓨터가 있다(Computing Evewhere)'로 시작된 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous)는 21세기 IT산업의 화두로 떠오르며 가전·통신 인터넷 등의 산업에 새로운 방향을 제시하고 있다. 실제 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous)는 주위의 모든 사물들이 컴퓨팅의 기능과 센서를 갖게 되고, 공간적 커뮤니케이션 한계를 극복하여 모든 사물에 컴퓨터와 네트워크를 연결해 언제 어디서나 상호작용이 가능하도록 한다는 개념이다. 이렇게 공기처럼 보이지 않지만 거미 같은 네트워크로 연결된 세상은 "혁신" 이라고 할 만큼 다양한 변화를 가져올 것으로 예상되며, 이러한 환경에서의 비즈니스 모델을 u-Commerce라 불리고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스의 개념과 기술을 통하여 REID 기술을 중심으로 한 물류유통부문의 도입효과를 살펴보고, RFID 기술을 비즈니스에 도입할 경우 원활한 접목에 중점을 두어 도입 사례와 도입시 고려해야 할 과제들을 중심으로 물류유통부문에서의 유비쿼터스 환경 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. Recently there is tremendous excitement about the emergence of Ubiquitous as a mainstream technology and its impact on businesses. Ubiquitous by RFID is being used extensively and gaining widespread acceptance. The purpose of this study is to suggest the application strategies of Ubiquitous by RFID on the logistics & distribution. It is studied Ubiquitous technology, the survey of the case of the logistics & distribution and revitalize strategies of Ubiquitous by RFID. In the results of study, to revitalize effectively Ubiquitous by RFID, we suggest the introduction of standard technology, the security of a found of technology, the violation of a person's privacy by Ubiquitous, the settlement of security problem, the furtherance of a venture fund of Ubiquitous by RFID, the cooperation between industry and the academic world in a project, the construction of information public ownership, the stability and consistency of a political community.

      • 유통업체의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 POS 활용방안에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to suggest the application strategies of POS for the competitiveness improvement of the small and medium retailers. It is studied POS system, the survey of the application degree of POS data and application strategies in the small and medium retailers. In the results of survey most of the small and medium retailers don't use POS data strategically in the side of promotion, item management, inventory management and ABC analysis, etc. To use effectively POS data, we suggest the preception of the importance of distribution information, the education of information, strategic application of POS data. Specially, it is needed to use positively POS data like as promotion management, item management, inventory management, lay-out management, distribution decision makings, etc. When the small and medium retailers use distribution information strategically, they are able to get competitiveness and survive in the distribution competitions.
