This study was performed to obtain basal data for development of new functional food by using mushroom Pholiota spp.. Among several kinds of extracts, water extracts of Pholiota adiposa ASI 24027 showed the highest solid yield of 58.7%. Crude protein of Pholiota adiposa ASI 24015 and β-glucan contents of Pholiota adiposa ASI 24005 were 25.0% and 0.66%, respectively. K and Mg were also contained plentifully in the fruiting body of Pholiota adiposa ASI 24004 (3,649 mg and 138 mg/100g dried fruiting body, respectively). Amino acid and total fatty acid contents were similar between almost all of Pholiota spp.. 본 연구에서는 비늘버섯을 이용하여 비교적 가격이 저렴하고 부작용이 없는 우수한 건강 기능성 제품을 개발하기 위한 기초 자료를 얻고자 17종의 비늘버섯 자실체 분말을 각종 유기용매로 추출한 후 이들의 수율을 조사하였고 여러 가지 영양학적, 생리기능적 성분 함량을 조사하였다. 17종의 비늘버섯 자실체들의 물과 메탄올 추출물을 제조하여 이들의 추출 수율을 측정한 결과 Pholiota adiposa ASI 24027의 물 추출물이 58.7%로 가장 높았다. 비늘버섯 자실체의 조단백질 함량은 대체로 0.2%-25.0% 이었고 이중 Pholiota adiposa ASI 24015가 가장 많은 단백질을 함유하고 있었다. 무기물 중에는 K를 많이 함유하고 있었고 철과 인은 Pholiota sp. ASI 24024의 자실체에서 각각 100g 건조 자실체량 19.6 mg, 859.1 mg 을 함유하고 있었다. 항암성분으로 알려진 β-glucan은 Pholiota adiposa ASI 24005에서 약 0.66%로 비교적 많이 함유하고 있었으나 비타민과 아미노산 및 지방산 등은 비늘버섯 시료간에 큰 차이가 없었다.

목재부후성 담자균류의 배양 균사체의 생물활성을 조사하기 위하여 항균활성, 식물생장조절활성, 항암활성 및 그들이 생산하는 효소활성을 검정한 결과 Coriolus versicolor 5129와 C. pubescens 5131 균주는 그람양성세균에, Lenzites betulina 8029 균주는 그람음성세균에 저지 효과를 나타내었으며 L. betulina 8085 균주는 세균과 진균에 저지 효과를 나타내어 광범위한 항균 spectrum을 보였다. 대부분의 균주가 0.8㎖/㎖ 농도 처리시 배추 및 무의 발아 및 생장을 억제하였으며, 특히 Fomitopsis pinicolor 8059와 Fomitella fraxinea 8084 균주의 경우 생육을 강하게 억제하였다. 그러나, Bjerkandera adusta 8054 균주는 0.4 및 0.2 ㎖/㎖ 농도에서 배추 및 무의 생육을 촉진하였다. 몇종의 목재부후균 다당체를 추출하여 암세포를 이식한 ICR mouse에 투여한 결과 거의 전 균주가 항종양 작용을 나타내었으나 버섯종류 간에 큰 차이를 보였고 그중 L. betulina 8029와 미분류된 8058 균주는 효과가 비교적 높았다. 목재부후균의 세룰로스와 리그닌 분해력은 거의 전 공시균주에서 나타났고 종류간에 역가가 다양하여 강력한 분해균의 선발 가능성을 보였다. For screening of biological activities of culture broth of some wood rotting basidiomycetes, antimicrobial activity, plant growth regulating activity, antitumor activity, and various enzyme activities were checked. Coriolus versicolor 5129 and C. pubescens 5131 strains showed inhibition activity against gram-positive bacteria and Lenzites betulina 8029 strain showed the activity against gram-negative bacteria. L. betulina 8085 inhibited the growth of both bacteria and plant pathogenic fungi. All of tested basidiomycetes inhibited the germination and growth of radish and cabbage at concentration of 0.8 ㎖/㎖. Especially, Fomitopsis pinicolor 8059 and Fomitella fraxinea 8084 showed strong inhibition activity. In contrast, Bjerkandera adusta 8054 stimulated the growth of cabbage and radish at concentration of 0.4 and 0.2 ㎖/㎖. All polysaccharides from tested basidiomycetes showed anti-tumor activity against sarcoma 180 and the stronger antitumor activity was observed in L. betulina 8029 and unidentified 8058 strain. All tested basidiomycetes had also an ability to degrade cellulose and lignin.

저자들은 지난 4년동안 경북대학병원 신경외과에 입원한 소아에서 수막종의 발생부위와 거대종양으로 인하여 완전절체가 불가능 하였던 매우드문 섬유아세포성 거대수막종(Fibroblastic giant meningioma) 2예를 수술, 치험하였기에 보고한다. Two rare cases of large, solid fibroblastic meningiomas in children are presented. The first case was a 6 year-old boy whose tumor was originated from tuberculum sellae extending to subfrontal and suprasellar region and it showed partial cystic degeneration. Another case was a 14 year-old boy whose tumor originated from falx cerebri and tentorium cerebelli. Neurological symptoms and signs have been reviewed. In both cases, these huge tumors could not be removed completely due to its anatomical location. However, we were able to resect almost completely by piecemeal technique. Postoperatively, neurological symptomes and signs were not worsened, compared to preoperative states.

A heterogalactan, fomitellan A. was isolated from a 0.9% sodium chloride extract of the fruit bodies of Fomitella fraxinea by a combination of fractionation procedures, including precipitation with ethanol and chromatography on columns of DEAE-cellulose and Toyopearl HW 65F. On employing gel permeation-high performance liquid chromatograpy, fomitellan A exhibited a single peak with a molecular weight of 15 kDa. The results of methylation, and ^1 H and ^13C NMR spectroscopic analyses indicated that the heterogalactan fomitellan A was a repeating unit (pentasaccharide) composed of a backbone with (1 → 6)-linked D-galactopyranosyl residues. Its C-2 atom position was substituted with disaccharide units of 3-0-_D-mannopyranosyl-_L-fucopyranosyl residues. The fucomannaogalactan (fomitellan A) from Fomitella fraxinea showed pronounced immunostimulating activity in an in vitro lymphocytes proliferation assay. ⓒ 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
