수화 교육을 위한 웹 기반의 구연 동화 시스템

본 연구에서는 장애인은 물론 일반 어린이들이 쉽고 재미있게 수화 언어를 배울 수 있게 도와주는 구연 동화 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 본 시스템은 흥미를 유발할 수 있도록 이미지나 배경 소리와 같은 멀티미디어 자료와 동영상을 포함한다. 아울러, 본 시스템은 인터넷 상에서 누구나 쉽게 접근하여 배울 수 있고 단어별 수화 학습이 가능하도록 HTML 문서 형식을 가지며, 여기에 XML를 도입하여 사용자의 편리성과 단어에 대한 수화DB가 없는 경우를 고려하여 자동 지화가 생성되도록 구현한다.

A Study on Construction and Application of Nuclear Grade ESF ACS Simulator

공학적 안전설비 공기정화계통과 관련된 실험 수행을 위해 원자력등급 ESF 공기정화계통 시뮬레이터 를 설계, 제작, 검증하였다. 영광 5,6호기 주제어실 공기정화계통의 공급자 정보, 도면 등을 기준으로 실 사를 통해 치수를 확인하여 3D CAD 모델을 작성하였다. 모델과 현장 계통의 실측 유량을 기준으로 CFD 분석을 수행하였다. 공기정화계통으로 유입되는 공기는 30 ℃, 유동형태는 균일한 것으로 가정하고, 검사 기록지에 의한 주제어실 ESF 공기정화계통의 유량이 12,986 CFM이고, 610×610 ㎟의 HEPA 필터가 9개 설치되어 있으므로 HEPA 필터 단면를 지나는 유속은 1.83 m/s이다. 주제어실 공기정화계통 모델링시 공 기 유동이 흐르지 않는 필터 테두리 지지대를 고려하여 현장과 유사한 유동현상을 모사하였다. 약 8 m/s 로 기록된 활성탄 흡착기 하단의 공기유동은 별도의 분석을 통해 7 m/s 이상의 유속이 모사되도록 CFD 분석하였다. 연료건물 비상배기계통 및 비상노심냉각계통 기기실 배기정화계통의 공기정화계통에 대해 서도 CFD 분석한 결과, 시뮬레이터의 유속을 조절하면 세가지 ESF 공기정화계통을 모두 모사할 수 있음 을 확인하였다. CFD 분석 후 시뮬레이터를 원자력등급으로 제작하였고, 본 실험에 착수하기 전에 공기유 동 분포도실험을 통해 시뮬레이터의 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 검증결과 중급 필터를 장착한 상태에서 시뮬 레이터의 필터 지지대 부분을 제외한 내부에서 공기유동이 고르게 분포함을 확인하였고, 제작된 시뮬레 이터는 Reg. Guide 1.52(Rev.3) 개정 내용 확인을 위한 실험에 사용되었다.

공학적 안전설비 공기정화계통의 규제지침인 Reg. Guide 1.52(Rev.3)의 변경사항중 성능시험과 관련 한 운전가능성 시험시간 단축, HEPA 필터 현장누설시험용 시험물질 변경 및 활성탄 성능시험 Methyl Iodidie 투과허용율 상향 변경을 영광 5,6호기에 적용하고자, 모사실험장치와 현장 설비를 활용하여 기술 적 타당성을 확인하는 실험을 수행하였다. 10시간 이상의 장시간 운전가능성 시험을 통해 계통내 습분을 제거하여도 시험후 1∼4일만에 회복됨을 확인하여 운전가능성 시험은 기기적 운전가능성 점검에 적합한 매월 15분 이상의 시험을 수행하는 것이 타당함을 확인하였다. HEPA 필터 현장누설시험용 시험물질 변 경을 위해 DOP와 PAO의 에어로졸 입자크기, 발생량, 누설인지도를 비교한 결과 PAO는 원전에서도 DOP 대체시험물질로 사용 가능함을 확인하였다. 베드깊이 4 인치 이상의 활성탄여과기에 대한 Methyl Iodide의 투과율 허용치가 0.175 %에서 0.5 %로 상향 변경된 것은, ASTM D3803(1989)으로의 활성탄 성 능시험 방법 변경에 따른 것으로서, 30 ℃ 상대습도 95 %에서의 Methyl Iodide 투과허용율 0.5 %가 사용 중 활성탄의 성능을 시험하기에 충분히 보수적인 시험방법임을 확인하였다. 본 실험 결과를 바탕으로 영 광 5,6호기는 인허가변경을 완료하였다.

유방의 침윤성 관암종에서 TGF-β isoforms의 발현에 관한 면역조직화학적 연구

To study the roles of TGF-β related with the aggressiveness of the cancer behavior, the expression of TGF-β isoforms were examined by immunohistochemically in the thirty five cases of infiltrating duct carcinoma of the breast. Analyzed prognostic parameters of the breast cancer along with TGF-β immunohistochemistry were tumor size, axillary lymph node metastasis, clinical stage, histological grade, nuclear grade, estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor status. The results were noted as follows : 1) Of 35 cases of infiltrating duct carcinoma of breast, 34 cases (97.1%) expressed pan TGF-β, 33 cases (94.3%) expressed TGF-β1, 34 cases(97.1%) expressed TGF-β2, and 34 cases(97.1%) expressed TGF-β3. 2) The staining indices (extent X intensity) of TGF-β isoforms were 4.89±2.4 in panTGF-β, 4.69±2.35 in TGF-β, 5.91±2.54 in TGF-β2, and 3.97±2.27 in TGF-β3. 3) The expression of panTGF-β, TGF-β1, and TGF-β2 were closely related to clinical stage and presence of axillary lymph node metastasis(P,0.05). 4) The TGF-β expression was not related to tumor size, histologic grade, nuclear grade, estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor statue(P>0.05). Therefore, the above results suggested that TGF-β expression in infiltrating duct carcinoma of breast may closely related with important prognostic factors, such as lymph node metastasis and clinical stage by increasing the invasiveness of cancer cells.

Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometric Analysis of Nannozinone A and Its Application to Pharmacokinetic Study in Mice

We aimed to develop and validate a sensitive analytical method of nannozinone A, active metabolite of Nannochelins A extracted from the Myxobacterium Nannocytis pusilla, in mouse plasma using a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Mouse plasma samples containing nannozinone A and ¹³C-caffeine (internal standard) were extracted using a liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) method with methyl tert-butyl ether. Standard calibration curves were linear in the concentration range of 1 - 1000 ng/mL (r² > 0.998) with the inter- and intra-day accuracy and precision results less than 15%. LLE method gave results in the high and reproducible extraction recovery in the range of 78.00-81.08% with limited matrix effect in the range of 70.56-96.49%. The pharmacokinetics of nannozinone A after intravenous injection (5 mg/kg) and oral administration (30 mg/kg) of nannozinone A were investigated using the validated LC-MS/MS analysis of nannozinone A. The absolute oral bioavailability of nannozinone A was 8.82%. Plasma concentration of nannozinone A after the intravenous injection sharply decreased for 4 h but plasma concentration of orally administered nannozinone A showed fast distribution and slow elimination for 24 h. In conclusion, we successfully applied this newly developed sensitive LC-MS/MS analytical method of nannozinone A to the pharmacokinetic evaluation of this compound. This method can be useful for further studies on the pharmacokinetic optimization and evaluating the druggability of nannozinone A including its efficacy and toxicity.

우울증상을 수반한 폐경후 여성에서 항우울제와 Estraderm TTS의 병합치료 효과에 대한 연구

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of adjunctive transdermal estradiol treatment to antidepressants in the postmenopausal women with depression. 16 postmenopausal women who had 'flushing' and depressive symptoms were entered into the study. Beck Depression Inventory(BDI) and menopausal symptom scale were scored at baseline, at the end of 4 weeks of treatment and after one month of wash-out period. There are significant changes in somatic subscore, vasomotor subscore and sleep subscore of the menopausal symptom scale between at the end to treatment and after wash-out period. These data suggest that adjunctive estrogen treatment is effective in the treatment of postmenopausal symptoms. No significant change was shown in mean BDI score, except 2 patients. This result does not suggest that adjunctive estrogen treatment for depressive symptoms in postmenopausal women is effective. However, the combined estrogen treatment should not be neglected for the treatment of postmenopausal depressive symptoms, because a few patients showed significant changes in mean BDI score. Further study, including more patients for longer period should be recommended.

소아 전환신경증의 증례 연구

In view of the high frequency of hysteria in children the authors reviewed four child patients suffering from conversion reaction. They were selected among patients who had suffered visual disorders and been seen at the Department of Neuropsychiatry, St. Mary's Hospital, Catholic Medical College during 1974-1975. They all had been consulted by ophthalmologists. Three of them had been diagnosed erroneously and received useless treatment by many ophthalmologists. Having clinical viewpoint in mind, these four cases were studied with special emphasis on reasons for referral, family background, and treatment. Results were as follows: 1. Vision of case 1 (male, 13) was 0. 04 (both eyes) when he came to St. Mary's Hospital. He received hospital treatment for 57 days and recovered his sight (visual power: 1.2). Prognosis was good. 2. When treatment started, vision of case 2 (male, 12) was 0. 07 (both eyes). The authors met him once a week for about 40 days and he has his right eye's sight restored (visual power: 1.0). Left eye's sight was also restored by operation. Prognosis was good. 3. Case 3 (male, 9) also showed bad sight (right: 0. 1, left: 0.08) at the first ophthalmologic examinations. After four month's treatment, he was able to read letters on blackboard from normal distance. When his visual power was examined in the presence of his mother, however, the result of the examination was that he did not restore his sight at all. 4. Though case 4 (female, 11) restored her vision from 0.5 (both eyes) to 1.2 (both eyes) through hospital treatment for a month, we did not let him elave the hospital until two weeks later for the purpose of protecting her from her mothers depression. 5. With suggestive therapy for removal of their acute, massive conversion symptoms, they were offered intensive psychotherapy to strengthen their insight. 6. Authors could find roots of their symptoms from their family background. Case 1 had parents who always scolded and whipped saying "study hard". Case 2 had mother who was rigidly stern. Case 3's mother suffered from the obsession and case 4's the depression. 7. Among them case 3 and 4 whose mother's seemed to have psychopathology did not respond fairly to therapeutic method.
