Vol.60 No.1
The main purpose of this study is to provide meaningful and insightful information regarding the existence of shared leadership in sports teams as revealing that the leaders of sports teams are selected within the social relationship among team members. To achieve the purpose of this study, a survey was conducted on 44 athletes of two university soccer teams which located in Seoul. After finishing data collection, each team’s leadership network was described and the densities of each leadership networks(task leadership, motivational leadership, social leadership and external leadership) were calculated by using UCINET and Netdraw. Next, QAP analysis was performed to extract correlation coefficients among each networks. Lastly, case study was performed to discuss the characteristics of two teams. As a result, the existence of shared leadership was found because some unofficial leaders who are not captain of team selected by the team members. To be specific, each leadership networks were not concentrated on a particular node and the range of density of each leadership network was from .104 to .342. Furthermore, The result of QAP analysis also revealed little bit low correlation coefficients between the four types of leadership networks. It could be considered as empirical evidence of the existence of shared leadership.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Negative capacitance (NC) phenomena is recently suggested as a breakthrough that can lead to the improved transistor by decreasing the subthreshold swing. To understand the NC phenomena, we investigated the effects of the ferroelectric properties such as the remnant polarization depending on the switching cycles in Si-doped HfO2 thin film capacitor. The ferroelectric properties were controlled by using the wake-up effect, in which the remnant polarization enhances as the number of switching cycles increase. The relation between the wake-up effect and the voltage drop region with the negative differential capacitance were elucidated. The dynamic hysteresis loops were fitted based on Landau-Khalatnikov equation, and the free energy as a function of polarization was obtained. The Landau coefficients showed that the double-well feature of the free energy becomes more apparent due to the wake-up. Based on the wake-up effect on NC phenomena, we show that the NC phenomena is well described by Landau-Ginzburg theory of ferroelectrics.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Relation between negative capacitance and ferroelectric properties explained based on Landau theory. </LI> <LI> Wake-up effects explained based on Landau theory. </LI> <LI> Effective control of ferroelectric properties using wake-up effect. </LI> </UL> </P>

We propose a marine observation system using existing light buoys to observe various marine information of marine locations. Our proposed ocean observation system is composed of the existing standard light buoy type and can be easily connected to the light buoy. The proposed marine observation system measures the mean wave height, maximum wave height, mean wave height and water temperature measured in the ocean. Besides, it can measure the air pressure, temperature, wind speed and wind speed in real time. In order to measure important peaks in marine observations, 2200 peak data are collected for 10 minutes, and the collected data are subjected to spectral analysis to extract significant wave and wave period data. The developed system removes the noise by using the filter because the marine observation system attaches to the light buoy. We compare and analyze the measurement data of the existing proven floating marine observation system and the standard equivalent system developed. Also, it is proved that the data of the standard type backbone ocean observation system developed through the comparative experiment is similar to that of the existing ocean observation system.
Semiclassical Boltzmann transport theory for multi-Weyl semimetals

<P>Multi-Weyl semimetals (m-WSMs) are a new type of Weyl semimetal that have linear dispersion along one symmetry direction but anisotropic nonlinear dispersion along the two transverse directions with a topological charge larger than one. Using the Boltzmann transport theory and fully incorporating the anisotropy of the system, we study the dc conductivity as a function of carrier density and temperature. We find that the characteristic density and temperature dependence of the transport coefficients at the level of Boltzmann theory are controlled by the topological charge of the multi-Weyl point and distinguish m-WSMs from their linear Weyl counterparts.</P>

<P>Genetic or biochemical abnormalities in mitochondria are closely associated with apoptosis, aging, cancer, and other chronic degenerative diseases. Mitochondrial dysfunction resulting from mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) depletion dispatches retrograde signals to the nucleus to compensate by altering the expression of various genes. In this study, a proteomic approach was used to gain insight into the nuclear gene targets of mitochondrial stress signaling and the pathophysiological mechanisms associated with mitochondrial dysfunction. We have used 2-DE to characterize the nuclear gene responses resulting from mtDNA depletion in L6 GLUT4myc myocytes. Our results showed that 77 polypeptides were differentially expressed in mtDNA-depleted cells; 33 polypeptides were down-regulated and 44 polypeptides were up-regulated. Of these differentially expressed polypeptides, 40 were identified as 36 different proteins by MALDI-TOF MS. These proteins are related to various cellular responses, such as apoptosis, cellular metabolism, signaling and cytoskeleton functions. It is suggested that the insulin resistance developed in mtDNA-depleted myocytes may be associated with disorganization of cytoskeleton assembly, and that cellular mtDNA depletion might promote the ability to evade apoptosis or other death effectors.</P>
