도시공원을 활용한 산림치유프로그램이 고령노인의 우울과 기억감퇴에 미치는 영향 -곤지암 도자공원을 사례로

본 연구는 생활권내 도시공원을 활용한 산림치유프로그램이 고령노인의 우울과 주관적 기억감퇴에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상자는 경기도 K시에 거주중인 75세 이상의 여성 고령노인 10명이었으며 주1회 2시간씩 총 7회의 산림치유 프로그램을 실시하였다. 본 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 단축형 노인우울 척도(GDSSF-K)와 주관적 기억감퇴 설문지(SMCQ)를 프로그램 전후에 평가하였다. 자료 분석에는 SPSS ver 18.0을 사용하였으며 Shapiro-Wilk test로 정규성을, Wilcoxon signed rank test로 통계검증을 실시하였다. 분석결과 도시공원에서 산림치유프로그램이 고령노인의 우울 완화에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 확인했다. 이는 지역사회 노인을 위한 복지 서비스에 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of study was to find out the effects of forest healing programs using urban parks in the living area on depression and subjective memory loss in older old people. The subjects of this study were 10 elderly women aged 75 or older living in K city, Gyeonggi-do, and a total of seven times forest healing programs were conducted once a week for two hours. In order to verify the effectiveness of this program, the Geriartric Depress Scale Short Form-Korea Version (GDSSF-K) and the Subjective Memory Complaints Questionnaire (SMCQ) were used to evaluate before and after the program. SPSS ver 18.0 was used for data analysis, normality was performed with the Shapiro-Wilk test, and statistical verification was performed with the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Forest healing programs at urban parks in the living area have been confirmed to have a positive effect on depression relief for older old people. It is thought that this can be usefully used for welfare services for the elderly in the community.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A novel 6-aminopurine scaffold bearing an <I>N</I>9-<I>cis</I>-cyclobutyl moiety was designed using structure-based molecular design based on two known CDK inhibitors, dinaciclib and Cmpd-27. A series of novel 6-aminopurine compounds was prepared for structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies of CDK2 and CDK5 inhibitors. Among the compounds synthesized, compound <B>8l</B> displayed potent CDK2 and CDK5 inhibitory activities with low nanomolar ranges (IC<SUB>50</SUB> =2.1 and 4.8nM, respectively) and showed moderate cytotoxicity in HCT116 colon cancer and MCF7 breast cancer cell lines. Here, we report the synthesis and evaluation of novel 6-aminopurine derivatives and present molecular docking models of compound <B>81</B> with CDK2 and CDK5.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
Nontraumatic Myositis Ossificans After Spontaneous Subarachnoid Hemorrhage: A Case Report

Myositis ossificans is uncommon in patients with nontraumatic brain injuries. This report presents a challenging case in which myositis ossificans was diagnosed and treated by medical management in a patient who was unable to complain of any symptoms due to akinetic mutism that occurred after nontraumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage. The patient had intermittent high-grade fever, and laborator y tests showed elevated C-reactive protein and D-dimer levels without clinical signs of infection two months after subarachnoid hemorrhage. Lower-extremity venography using computed tomography was performed to rule out deep venous thrombosis. There was no thrombus, but right vastus medialis muscle showed inflammator y change with faint multilayered cur vilinear hyperdense rims. The administration of indomethacin helped prevent abnormal bone formation. For the early detection of myositis ossificans, careful obser vation of clinical presentation and a high index of clinical suspicion is necessar y in brain-injured patients. Further, elevated serum inflammator y markers accompanied by elevated alkaline phosphatase can be a critical clue. Early computed tomography helps identif y early ‘string sign’ prior to characteristic ossification. Our report highlights that the myositis ossificans is remediable by early detection and appropriate nonsurgical management

<P>Turanose is a sucrose isomer naturally existing in honey and a promising functional sweetener due to its low glycemic response. In this study, the extrinsic fructose effect on turanose productivity was examined in Neisseria amylosucrase reaction. Turanose was produced, by increasing the amount of extrinsic fructose as a reaction modulator, with high concentration of sucrose substrate, which resulted in 73.7% of production yield. In physiological functionality test, lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes in the presence of high amounts of pure glucose was attenuated by turanose substitution in a dose-dependent manner. Turanose treatments at concentrations representing 50%, 75%, and 100% of total glucose concentration in cell media significantly reduced lipid accumulation by 18%, 35%, and 72%, respectively, as compared to controls. This result suggested that turanose had a positive role in controlling adipogenesis, and enzymatic process of turanose production has a potential to develop a functional food ingredient for controlling obesity and related chronic diseases.</P>

Objective: To determine the association between placental pathologies and the pregnancy following in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 1677 consecutive singleton pregnant women who delivered after 20 weeks of gestation at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and had the results of placental pathologic evaluation from April 2013 to October 2018. Multifetal pregnancies were excluded. The reports after evaluation of placenta by pathologists were reviewed. Results: The median value of maternal age and the rate of nulliparity were significantly higher in the group conceived after IVF than that after natural conception (both p-values < 0.001). The proportion of preterm birth before 37 weeks of gestation was lower in IVF group than natural pregnancy group (73% vs. 83%, p=0.006). Except for the rates of preterm premature rupture of membranes and placenta previa, other obstetric complications were comparable between two groups. The proportion of placental infarction was higher in the group conceived after IVF than that with natural conception (26.4% vs. 16.4%, p=0.012). In multivariate logistic regression, IVF and cesarean section were significantly associated with the presence of placental infarction. Conclusion: Placental infarction was independently associated with conception through IVF.
Wearing Comfort Evaluation of Safety Shoes with a Ventilation System

Objective: The present study is intented to evaluate a safety-shoe with a ventilation hole in terms of inside-shoe microclimate and wearing comfort. Background: Safety shoes have functions to protect a worker’s feet and provide proper fitness and thermal comfort. However, the workers are wearing safety shoes for more than 6 hours a day, so that the safety shoes are exposed to the problems of skin disease such as athlete’s foot. Method: Ergonomic tests were conducted with safety-shoe wearers in industry to compare with ventilation hole shoes with the patented ventilation system to without ventilation shoes without a ventilation system in terms of skin temperature, microclimate(temperature, humidity), local sweat rate, thermography and subjective comfort. Results: The skin temperature measured at the navicular bone was found less increased in with ventilation hole shoes than in without ventilation shoes on average by 0.1℃ during the rest period and 0.5℃ during the exercise and recovery periods. The inside-shoe temperature measured at the toe region was found less increased in with ventilation hole shoes than in without ventilation shoes on average by 0.6℃ during the rest period and 0.3℃ during the exercise period. The inside-shoe humidity measured at the toe region was found less increased in with ventilation hole shoes than in without ventilation shoes on average by 15.1% during the rest period, 11.1% during the exercise period, and 15.2% during the recovery period. The amount of sweat measured on the foot at the end of the experiment was found significantly less in with ventilation hole shoes than in without ventilation shoes on average by 34%. Conclusion: The present study found that the safety shoes with ventilation system were superior than general safety shoes by decreasing skin temperature, inside shoe temperature, and relative humidity and by increasing thermal comfort. Application: The air ventilation system of the safety shoes can be applicable to military boots or golf shoes to increase their thermal comfort.
