마임 건강식품 홍삼진을 이용한 전통과 모던의 융합적 브랜드 이벤트 프로모션 산업체 연계를 통한 아트, 디자인, 공학, 마케팅 융합 디자인을 중심으로-

본 연구는 융합 연출 디자인 이라는 목적에서 출발하여 마임 브랜드 홍삼진 제품을 다각적 측면에서 기획 및 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2017년 3월~ 6월 15주 동안 숙명여대 환경디자인학과<융합 캡스톤 디자인>수업을 통해 이루어졌다. 또한 본 연구는 마임브랜드 중, 건강식품을 브랜딩하고 있는 <홍삼 진>을 선택하였다. 그 결과 본 연구는 기존 이벤트 프로모션과 전시의 사회적 문제를 도출하였고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로서 전통과 현대의 융합의 오감적 체험 프로모션을 주제로 선정하였다. 아울러 본 연구는 SWOT/STP 마케 팅 분석 방법과 브레인스토밍을 사용하여 아트, 디자인, ICT, Marketing의 융합 브랜드를 구축하였다.끝으로 본 연구는 향후 마케팅을 기반한 융합 브랜드 개발에 있어 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

Streptomyces Telomeres Contain a Promoter

<B>ABSTRACT</B><P>Bidirectional replication of the linear chromosomes and plasmids of <I>Streptomyces</I> spp. results in single-strand overhangs at their 3′ ends, which contain extensive complex palindromic sequences. The overhangs are believed to be patched by DNA synthesis primed by a terminal protein that remains covalently bound to the 5′ ends of the telomeres. We discovered that in vitro a conserved 167-bp telomere DNA binds strongly to RNA polymerase holoenzyme and exhibits promoter activities stronger than those of an rRNA operon. In vivo, the telomere DNA exhibited promoter activity in both orientations on a circular plasmid in <I>Streptomyces</I>. The telomere promoter is also active on a linear plasmid during exponential growth. Such promoter activity in a telomere has not hitherto been observed in eukaryotic or prokaryotic replicons. <I>Streptomyces</I> telomere promoters may be involved in priming the terminal Okazaki fragment (during replication) replicative transfer (during conjugation), or expression of downstream genes (including a conserved <I>ttrA</I> helicase-like gene involved in conjugal transfer). Interestingly, the <I>Streptomyces</I> telomeres also function as a promoter in <I>Escherichia coli</I> and as a transcription enhancer in yeast.</P>

Effect of Preoperative Tumour Under-Staging on the Long-Term Survival of Patients Undergoing Radical Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer

Purpose This study aimed to evaluate the effect of preoperative tumor staging deviation (PTSD) on the long-term survival of patients undergoing radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer (RGGC). Materials and Methods Clinicopathological data of 2,346 patients who underwent RGGC were retrospectively analyzed. The preoperative tumor-lymph node-metastasis (TNM) under-staging group (uTNM) comprised patients who had earlier preoperative TNM than postoperative TNM, and the no preoperative under-staging group (nTNM) comprised the remaining patients. Results There were 1,031 uTNM (44.0%) and 1,315 nTNM cases (56.0%). Cox prognostic analysis revealed that PTSD independently affected the overall survival (OS) after surgery. The 5-year OS was lower in the uTNM group (41.8%) than in the nTNM group (71.6%). The patients less than 65 years old, with lower American Society of Anaesthesiologists score, 2-5 cm tumor located at the lower stomach, and cT1 or cN0 preoperative staging would more likely undergo D1+ lymph node dissection (LND) in uTNM (p < 0.05). Logistic analyses revealed that tumor size > 2 cm and body mass index ≤ 22.72 kg/m2 were independent risk factors of preoperative TNM tumor under-staging in patients with cT1N0M0 staging (p < 0.05). Conclusion Underestimated tumor staging is not rare, which possibly results in inadequate LND and affects the long-term survival for patients undergoing RGGC. D2 LND should be carefully performed in patients who are predisposed to this underestimation.

Discrimination of geographical origin and cultivation years of Ginseng by near Infrared reflectance spectroscopy

The objectives of this study are to discriminate the geographical origin and cultivation years of ginseng based on the near-infrared(NIR) reflectance spectroscopic analysis. Korea and China ginseng samples were prepared for discrimination of geographical origin. 4, 5 and 6 years-old ginseng samples from Korea were prepared for discrimination of cultivation years. Used spectrometer were InfraAlyzer 500, InfraAlyzer 400 and Fiber optic. Sample type of ginseng was 3, whole ginseng radix, slide section and powder type. The accuracy was affected by sample types and instruments. The accuracy for discrimination geographical origin was 97% in calibration model using IA 500 and ginseng powder. For discrimination of cultivation years, the model with slide selection using IA500 were relative accurate. The accuracy was 96.7% for 4-year, 91.3% for 5-year and 89.3% for 6-year old ginseng. The study shows that NIR spectroscopic analysis can be used to discriminate the geographical origin and cultivation years of ginseng with acceptable accuracy.

Delayed postanoxic encephalopathy is a rare complication of hypoxic events. The underlying pathological lesion is thought to be progressive diffuse demyelination in the cerebral white matter. It is difficult to predict and diagnosis such sequelae early. We presents a 76-year-old woman who showed abnormal behavior and memory impairment due to delayed hypoxic demyelination with a serially performed diffusion weighted MRI imaging (DWIs) and 1H-MRS at initial insult of CO poisoning and after the appearance of delayed sequelae. We proposed that the DWIs of acute stage of insult can be considered as predictor for delayed postanoxic demyelination.

Effects of Acupuncture at Zu-San-Li (ST36) on the Activity of the HypothalamicePituitaryeAdrenal Axis during Ethanol Withdrawal in Rats

The current study investigated the effects of acupuncture at Zu-San-Li (ST36) on the hypothalamicepituitaryeadrenalaxis during ethanol withdrawal in rats. Rats were intraperitoneallytreated with 3 g/kg/day of ethanol or saline for 28 days. Following 24 hours ofethanol withdrawal, acupuncture was applied at bilateral ST36 points or non-acupoints(tail) for 1 minute. Plasma levels of corticosterone (CORT) and adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH) were measured by radioimmunoassay (RIA), and the corticotropin-releasingfactor (CRF) protein levels in the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus were alsoexamined by RIA 20 minutes after the acupuncture treatment. RIA showed significantlyincreased plasma levels of CORT and ACTH in the ethanol-withdrawn rats compared withthe saline-treated rats, which were inhibited significantly by the acupuncture at the acupointST36 but not at the non-acupoint. Additionally, ethanol withdrawal promoted CRFprotein expressions in the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus, which were alsoblocked by the acupuncture at ST36. These findings suggest that acupuncture at the specific acupoint ST36 can inhibit ethanol withdrawal-induced hyperactivation of hypothalamicepituitaryeadrenalaxis, and it may be mediated via the modulation of hypothalamicCRF.

유추를 통한 조립제법 탐구활동 사례 연구

본 연구의 목적은 조립제법 소재의 탐구활동에서 나타난 고동학생들의 사고 과정을 분석하여 유추의 양상을 조사하는 것이다. 인문계 고등학교 1학년 학생 2명을 대상으로 질적 사례연구로 수행되었다. 자료의 분석을 위하여 연구자가 제안한 유사성 분류 틀과 Gentner의 Structure-mapping Model(구조사상 모형, 줄여서 SMM)을 이용하였다. 두 학생 모두 유추를 도구로 사용하여 2 차 이상의 조립제법을 발견하였으나, 유추적 사고의 능력에 따라 수학적 발견에 차이를 보였다. 탐구활동 과정에서 표면 유사성은 유추에서 중요한 역할을 수행하였다. 구조 유사성에 근거한 유추는 학생들도 수학자처럼 탐구하고 발견할 수 있도록 하였으며, 체계성의 원리에 의한 유추는 다른 영역에 대한 예측과 설명을 가능하게 하였고, 절차 유사성에 의한 유추는 내면화를 이끌어 냈다. 또한 유추의 성격이 도구적, 발견적이고 또한 반성적이라는 결론을 얻었다. The purpose of the study was to investigate the aspects of analogy of high school student`s thinking process revealed in the inquiry activity with synthetic division. The case study method of qualitative research was conducted with two high school 10th grade students. Structure-mapping model(SMM) of Gentner and similarity frames which were proposed by other researchers were utilized to analyze the data. Two students used analogy as a tool and they could discover synthetic division of more than 2 degrees, but they revealed different levels of mathematics discovery depending on the different degree of analogical thinking. Surface similarity in the process of inquiry activity played a vital role in analogical thinking. We asked students to explore and discover analogy based on structure similarity. Analogy based on the systematic approach made it possible to predict upper domain. Analogy based on the procedure similarity induced internalization. We could conclude that analogy has instrumental, heuristic and reflective characteristics.

Complete Genome of Leptospirillum ferriphilum ML-04 Provides Insight into Its Physiology and Environmental Adaptation

Leptospirillum ferriphilum has been identified as the dominant, moderately thermophilic, bioleaching microorganism in bioleaching processes. It is an acidic and chemolithoautrophic bacterium that gains electrons from ferrous iron oxidation for energy production and cell growth. Genetic information about this microorganism has been limited until now, which has hindered its further exploration. In this study, the complete genome of L. ferripilum ML-04 is sequenced and annotated. The bacterium has a single circular chromosome of 2,406,157 bp containing 2,471 coding sequences (CDS), 2 rRNA operons, 48 tRNA genes, a large number of mobile genetic elements and 2 genomic islands. In silico analysis shows L. ferriphilum ML-04 fixes carbon through a reductive citric acid (rTCA) cycle, and obtains nitrogen through ammonium assimilation. The genes related to “cell envelope biogenesis, outer membrane” (6.9%) and “DNA replication, recombination and repair” (5.6%) are abundant, and a large number of genes related to heavy metal detoxification, oxidative and acidic stress defense, and signal transduction pathways were detected. The genomic plasticity, plentiful cell envelope components, inorganic element metabolic abilities and stress response mechanisms found the base for this organism’s survival in the bioleaching niche.

Analyzing and Comparing the Effect on Lightsources and Colours in the Residences and Office Interior

The aim of this study is to propose the predictive index and analyze the effect of lightsources and colour image types in the residence and office interior.This study was consisted of four steps, and was carried out as follows. 1) The condition of experiment was set up by optical characteristic of lightsources and colours. 2) The scaled model space was manufactured for the evaluation of the same condition by each space. And, some piece of furniture was manufactured for the representation of each space. 3) The emotivity response of lightsources and colours was measured. 4) Results of the evaluation of lightsources and colours were compared and analyzed by conditions, and the predictive index was proposed by image types.

고관절 전치환술 환자의 퇴원교육 이행정도와 일상생활 활동정도와의 관계연구

Total hip replacement is one orthopedic procedure currently being used for hip arthroplasty. In total hip replacement, the femoral head and acetabulum are both replaced by prostheses. Dislocation of a prosthesis because of inappropriate body positioning is one possible postoperative complication which occurs more frequently in the Korean life style setting than in the west. Hence the importance of pre-discharge education of patients following total hip replacement about appropriate positioning to present dislocation. This study examined the correlation between compliance with discharge education and hip-related activities of daily living of clients who had had total hip replacements. The purpose was to contribute to the development of pre-discharge educational protocols and eventually to help these clients conform to appropriate hip-related activities of daily living. The subjects were a convenience sample of 19 clients who had had total hip replacement surgery from 1988 to 1990 at E. University hospital in Seoul. The date were collected by an interview schedule from March 15 to April 17, 1992. The measurement tools were a pre-discharge deucation compliance score developed from the educational programs used in the hospital and the Harres' Hip Score which evaluated hip-related activities of daily living. The data were analysed by an SPSS computer program for percentage and by t -tests, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Coefficients. There was a positive correlation between compliance with pre-discharge education and the Hip score(p=0.021). Age was related to compliance with pre -discharge education. The state preparation for discharge was related to both compliance with education and the Hip score. The results suggest that further research of the relationships between compliance with pre -discharge education programs and hip-related activities of daily living for clients having total hip replacements is warrenteci.
