의약품의 약효를 안전하게 나타내기 위해서는 정확한 용량의 복용이 중오하다. 정해진 용법 ·용량에 따라 투여를 하더라도 1회 복용단위당 항량이 균일하지 않으면 복용자의 의지에' 관계없이 과량 혹은 유효량에 디치지 못하는 양을 복용하게 되므로 복용단위당 유효성분의 균질성은 매우 중요하다. 이에 국내 시판 의약품 중 경구용 성형제제를 대상으로 중랸과 항랑의 균질성 평가 및 상관성에 대한 기초적 연굴를 통하여 함량군일성시험의 규긱 설정에 관한 기준을 마련하고자 하였다. 국내 시판 중인 총 560롯트의 경구용 성형제제에 대하여 주성분의 수 함량 등에 따라 븐류하고 함량시험, 중량편차, 함량균일성시험을 실새하여 중량편차와 함량균일성의 상관계수를 구하였으며, 상관성분석을 통하여 각 분류한 군에서 상관성 있는 것으로 나타난 롯트의 비을을 살펴보았다. 주성분 함유량 2% 미만, 혹은 2 mg 미만인 제제에서는 함량균일성으로의 관리가 필요한 것으로 나타났으며, 제형에 따라서는 당의정에서 상패적으로 상관성 있는 롯트의 수가 적게 나타나 함량균일성으로의 관리가 필요한 것으로 나타났다
Evaluation of hematologic parameters in adnexal torsion

Objective: Adnexal torsion is a condition which requires urgent surgical intervention to preserve ovarian function. Preoperative diagnosis of adnexal torsion is difficult because the diagnosis depends on findings from imaging studies along with various clinical symptoms. This study aims to compare preoperative hematologic parameters in patients with adnexal torsion and ovarian cyst. Methods: This is a retrospective study of 70 patients who visited emergency medical center for abdominal pain and received emergency operation under impression of adnexal torsion. Patients were categorized according to operative findings as adnexal torsion (Group1) and ovarian cyst (Group 2). Clinical characteristics and preoperative hematological parameters including age, body mass index (BMI), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR), mean platelet volute (MPV) were compared the two groups. All statistical analyses were performed by using the IBM SPSS statistics ver. 20.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA). Results: Out of 70 patients, a total of 29 patients were found to have adnexal torsion and a total of 41 patients had ovarian cyst without torsion. The median BMI for Group 1 was 23.37 (18-29.73) and 20.9 (16-30.9) for Group 2 (p = 0.005). Group 1 group showed Group 1 had a median NLR of 4.94 (0.64-27.4), PLR of 195.53 (18.37-821), and Group 2 had a median of NLR 3.53 (1.05-21.56), PLR of 143 (35-345). The median MPV was 7.8 (6.3-10.30) for Group 1 and 7.9 (6.7-11.8) for Group 2. Group 1 had a median PT of 11.2 (10.1-13.5), aPTT of 25.5 (1.24-37.5), and Group 2 had a median PT of 11.6 (10.4-13), aPTT of 27.8 (21.2-37.2). There were no statistical differences between the two groups in terms of hematological parameters. Conclusion: Hematological parameters were not significantly different between ovarian torsion and ovarian cyst group. Further study with higher number of patients is needed to evaluate the preoperative role of hematological parameters in diagnosis of ovarian torsion.
Comprehensive RNA-sequencing analysis of colorectal cancer in a Korean cohort

Considering the recent increase in the number of colorectal cancer (CRC) cases in South Korea, we aimed to clarify the molecular characteristics of CRC unique to the Korean population. To gain insights into the complexities of CRC and promote the exchange of critical data, RNA-sequencing analysis was performed to reveal the molecular mechanisms that drive the development and progression of CRC; this analysis is critical for developing effective treatment strategies. We performed RNA-sequencing analysis of CRC and adjacent normal tissue samples from 214 Korean participants (comprising a total of 381 including 169 normal and 212 tumor samples) to investigate differential gene expression between the groups. We identified 19,575 genes expressed in CRC and normal tissues, with 3,830 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the groups. Functional annotation analysis revealed that the upregulated DEGs were significantly enriched in pathways related to the cell cycle, DNA replication, and IL-17, whereas the downregulated DEGs were enriched in metabolic pathways. We also analyzed the relationship between clinical information and subtypes using the Consensus Molecular Subtype (CMS) classification. Furthermore, we compared groups clustered within our dataset to CMS groups and performed additional analysis of the methylation data between DEGs and CMS groups to provide comprehensive biological insights from various perspectives. Our study provides valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying CRC in Korean patients and serves as a platform for identifying potential target genes for this disease. The raw data and processed results have been deposited in a public repository for further analysis and exploration.
