      • 사면의 안정도 해석을 위한 입체투영법

        암반 사면의 안정성을 해석하는데 입체투영기법을 이용하였다. 안정도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 절리의 경사, 암석의 밀도, 내부마찰각등이 있으나, 가장 중요한 요인은 절리면의 경사이다. 이 연구에서는 암석의 점착력은 무시하고 단지 내부마찰각과 절리의 주향 및 경사만을 이용하였다. 그 결과 입체투영도에서 나타나는 암반사면의 안정도는 이동력과 저항력의 상대적인 크기에 의하여 좌우되는 것으로 나타났다. 동시에, 지반진동에 의한 영향도 입체 투영기법으로 찾아낼수 있다는 것이 밝혀졌다. Stereographic projection technique was used to analyze rock slope stability. Strike and dip of joints, rock strength, and internal frictional angle are major factor on slope stability. Among them, the most important factor is strike and dip of joints. In stereographgic projection technique, only internal frictional angle, and strike and dip of joints were used to interprete slope stability. Cohesion of rock was not considered. It is suggested that the rock slope stability on stereographic projection depends upon only the differential stress between driving and resisting force. At the same time, Stereographic projection technique on seismic loading was proposed in this study.

        토양중 게르마늄 농도에 따른 벼의 생육 특성 및 게르마늄 흡수

        게르마늄의 약리효능이 알려짐에 따라 게르마늄이 깅화된 기능성 농산물의 요구도가 높아지는 추세이다. 본 연구는 게르마늄의 농업적 이용에 대한 기초 사료를 제공하고자 실시하였으며, 벼의 생육 및 게르마늄 흡수에 미치는 게르마늄처리 효과는 다음과 같다. 게르마늄을 0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5 및 10.0 mg/kg으로 처리할 토양을 와그너포트에 넣어 벼를 재배힌 결과, 게르마늄 처리농도가 증가할수록 게르마늄 독성의 증가로 초장, 수장, 수수 및 수량이 급격히 감소하였으며 게르마늄 2.5 mg/kg 이상에서는 게르마늄 독성이 발생하였다. 게르마늄 처리농도가 증가할수록 벼의 게르마늄 흡수랑은 증가하였으나 벼의 게르마늄 이용율은 게르마늄 2.5, 5.0, 7.5 mg/kg 처리에서 각각 20.7, 12.5 및 7.5%로서 게르마늄 처리농도가 증가할수록 감소하였다. 벼의 부위별 게르마늄 함량은 볏짚>왕겨>현미 순으로 높았다. 게르마늄 2.5 mg/kg 처리시 볏짚, 왕겨 및 현미의 게르마늄 함량은 각각 103.4, 30.2 및 3.02 mg/kg 이었고, 볏짚과 왕겨에서는 게르마늄 무처리에서도 각각 2.9 및 3.9 mg/kg을 함유하고 있었다. 쌀의 아미노산 함량을 분석한 결과 게르마늄 처리농도가 증가할수록 Asx., Thr., Ser. 등 대부분 종류의 아미노산 함량이 증가하였으며, 그 결과 현미중 질소흡수량도 증가하였다. In order to obtain the basic information for agricultural utilization of Germanium(Ge), the growth characteristics and Ge absorption of rice plant were investigated with different Ge concentration in soil. Ge concentrations were treated with 0, 2.5, 5.0 7.5 and 10.0 mg/kg in pot(1/5,000a), respectively. As higher the Ge concentration in soil, the Ge absorption amount in straw, husk and brown rice were increased. But the yields were decreased with the increase of Ge phytotoxicity. When rice plant was grown more than 2.5 mg/kg Ge(as GeO₂) in the soil, growth was inhibited by germanium phytotoxicity and necrosis spots were observed in the rice leaf blades. Therefore the optimum concentration of Ge was less than 2.5 mg/kg in rice plant. When rice plant was cultivated on soil supplemented with 2.5 mg/kg Ge, Ge content in straw, husk and brown rice was 103.4, 30.2 and 3.02 mg/kg, respectively. The Ge content in plant was high in the order of straw > husk > brown rice. Most of the amino acids in rice were increased with the increase of Ge treatment, besides, total amino acid contents also increased.

      • 혈액 투석 환자에서 중심정맥 협착에 대한 스텐트 삽입술 : Wallstent Placement

        Stenosis of central vein is a common complication arising after percutaneous subclavian vein catheter insertion performed for temporary vascular access in chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. There are several treatment methods for the condition like percutaneous angioplasty(PTA), stent insertion, and surgery, but recent trend is toward PTA and stents. Among the patients diagnosed with chronic renal failure from March 1993 to May 2002 and undergoing hemodialysis through AV fistula, the 14 Patients in whom central vein stenosis arose were selected for the study. A total of 28 percutaneous interventions(5 PTA and 23 stent placement) were performed, and restenosis rate and the time taken till the restenosis in de novo lesions and instant lesions were compared. All 28 cases were operated successfully. The 14 cases that received both anigioplasty and stent placement initially. (de novo lesion : 14 cases), Among the 10 cases with de novo lesion that followed up more than 1 year, 3 cases are currently undergoing hemodialysis without restenosis, and the remaining 7 cases have recurred stenosis with the mean time to restenosis of 10.9 months. In the 7 cases in whom stenosis recurred, 11 interventions were done(instent lesion: 11 cases). 4 of these were using only ballon angioplasty with 100% restenosis rate and the mean time of 3 months until restenosis. The remaining 7 cases were using both balloon angioplasty and stent placement, also with 100% restenosis rate but with the mean time of 12 months until restenosis, which was later than the group receiving only balloon angioplasty. In treating the patients with central vein stenosis, stent placement seems to be more advantageous over PTA in terms of restenosis rate and the mean duration of patency. In the case of instent lesion, inserting the stent for the second time after stenosis recurred lengthened the duration of patency compared to performing balloon angioplasty alone.

        Algal bioassay 에 의한 조류생장 제한영양염류 결정

        Determination of Limiting Nutrient for Algal Growth by Algal Bioassay. Oh, Hee-Mock, Seog June Lee, Seong-Bin Kim, Mi- Kyung Park, Byung-Dae Yoon and Do-Han Kim (Environmental Microbiology Research Unit, Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Taejon 305-333, Korea and Water Resources Research Institute, Korea Water Resources Corporation, Taejon 305-390, Korea) Water quaiity and algal growth potential (AGP) using Microcystis aeruginosa were investigated from April to September 1997 in Daechung Reservoir. Secchi disk transparency was 1.1 m in August. Chlorophyll-a concentrations were higher than 10㎍/l at all samples. Total phosphorus concentration was in a range of 0.020∼0.027mg/l which is at the approximate value of 0.03 mg/l, the general critical level of eutrophication. These results indicate that Daechung Reservoir is in an eutrophic state except some temporary times and restricted sites. Phosphorus uptake rate of M. aeruginosa was higher in the water from the epilimnion than in the hypolimnion and also higher under light condition than under dark condition. Therefore, phosphorus uptake rate appears to depend on cellular phosphorous content and light condition, a meaning of endergonic process. Phosphorus was the most frequently limiting nutrient: phosphorus was limiting algal gowth in April and May, nitrogen, phosphorus and trace elements were the limiting factors for algae in August, and trace elements in September. If a fast growing alga, M, aeruginosa, is used as a test organism for assaying AGP, in vivo fluorescence instead of dry weight can be measured for algal biomass and incubation period can be reduced from traditional 14 days to 7 days.

        Platelet aggregation is the final pathway of acute coronary syndrome such as acute myocardial infarction and unstable angina. Platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa is a membrane receptor for fibrinogen and yon Willebrand factor and it plays an important role in platelet aggregation and in the pathogenesis of acute coronary syndrome. It is known that polymorphism of the gene that encoding platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa(PI^A1/A2) is strongly related to acute coronary syndrome in Caucasian, but not in Koreans. We investigated relationship between platelet glycoprotein llb/Illa gene polymorphism and restenosis of coronary artery after angioplasty in Koreans. Total 371 patients(M=251. F=120) were enrolled. Angioplasty group comprised 143 patients who underwent coronary angioplasty, and in the angioplasty group, restenosis group comprised with the 65 patients who had restenotic lesion over 50% of luminal diameter in follow-up coronary angiography. Normal group comprised 153 patients who had no significant angiographic lesion and variant angina group comprised 75 patients who were positive in ergonovine test. Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral arterial blood. To determine the frequency of P1^A1/A2 genotype, polymerase chain reaction(PCR) was done and the product was restricted with Mspl. 3%. agarrose gel electrophoresis showed restriction fragment length polymorphism. Clinical profile and risk factor were also reviewed. Among all 371 patients of study group, genotype of only one patients in restenosis group if is proven to be PI^A1/A2 heterozygote. All patients of normal study group, no restenosis group, and the other patients in restenosis group have an PI^A1 homozygote genotype. In our study, platelet glycoprotein IIb/Illa polymorphism has no relationship with restenosis of the coronary artery after angioplasty in Koreans. But the genotypic frequency of platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa gene polymorphism in Koreans is concordant with that of previous studies.

      • 足底의 Clarke Foot Print Angle과 垂直跳 間의 相關

        The purpose of this study is to find out how Clarke Foot Print Angle have an Correlation on the Vertical Power Jump on the owners of same leg muscle strength(55㎏), the heigh of body(165∼170㎝), and the weight of body(55∼60㎏). Clarke Foot Print Angle was divided into three groups as it were, Normal foot Print group(above 45˚), Linght Flatfoot group(25˚∼44˚), Heavy Flatfoot group(below 24˚) To measure methods, First of all, I used Back Muscle Dynamometer to extract the owners of the same leg muscle strength and measured C.F.P.A Copying with chinese ink water. Lastly, Vertical Power Jump Records were measured with Vertical Power Jump Test. As the result, I obtained the following. 1. The average of C.F.P.A and were 42.54˚and 40.89㎝. 2. It appeared that C.F.P.A. was correlated with V.P.J. as it were, N.F.G(r=.23), L.F.G(r=.34), H.F.G(r=.43), total(r=.40). 3. In this viewpoint, I believe it is resonable that we must reference to player selection and training of an event needed the leg muscle strength.

        Water-in-Carbon Dioxide 마이크로에멀젼에서 나노 크기의 이산화티탄 합성 및 p-니트로페놀의 광분해에 대한 연구

        CO_2에 용해 능력이 우수한 PFPE-NH_4(ammonium carboxylate perfluoro polyether) 및 PDMAEMA(poly(2-(dimethylamino)-ethyl methacrylate))-b-PFOMA(polu(1H, 1H, 2H, 2H-perfluoroocthyl methacrylate)) 계면활성제를 사용하여 W/C 마이크로에멀젼에 의해 나노 크기의 TiO_2를 제조하였다. TGA-DTA, FT-IR, XRD, TEM 등을 이용하여 나노 입자 제조시 W_0(H_2O/surfactant molar ratio)비에 따른 입자의 크기 및 결정성 등 물리적 성질을 조사하였다. 또한 제조된 TiO_2 나노 입자의 광촉매적 특성을 알아보기 위해 회분식 반응장치를 이용하여 p-니트로페놀의 광활성을 조사하였다. 제조된 TiO_2 나노 입자는 소성온도 250-450℃ 범위에서 유기물질과 수산화물이 분해 되어 450℃ 이상 비결정 구조에서 anatase 구조로 상 전이 되었다. W/C 마이크로에멀젼에서 제조된 나노 입자의 결정성 및 결정크기는 W_0 비가 증가할수록 증가하였다. p-니트로페놀의 광분해반응에서 반응성은 결정크기에 영향을 받았으며, 결정의 크기가 작을수록 반응성이 증가하였다. Titania nanoparticles were prepared by controlled hydrolysis of titanium tetraisopropoxide(TTIP) in PFPE-NH_4(ammonium carboxylate perfluoropolyether) and PDMAEMA(poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate))-b-PFOMA(poly(1H, 1H, 2H, 2H-perfluoroocthyl methacrylate))/Water-in-CarbonDioxide Microemulsions. The physical properties, such as crystallite size and crystallinity according to W_0 ratio have been investigated by TGA-DTA, FT-IR, XRD and TEM. In addition, the photocatalytic degradation of p-nitrophenol has been studied by using batch reactor in the presence of UV light in order to compare the photocatalytic activity of prepared nanosized titania. The residual organic compound and hydroxyl group were completely removed in calcination temperature from the 250-450℃ and the amorphous phase changed into anatase structure above 450℃. The crystallinity and crystallite size of nanoparticles produced in water-in-carbon dioxide microemulsions increased with an increase of the W_o ratio. In the photocatalytic degradation of p-nitrophenol, the photocatalytic activity is mainly determined by the crystallite size of titania and the reaction rate increased with an decrease of crystallite size.

      • 만성 간질환에서 혈청 Type Ⅳ Collagen 측정의 의의

        To evaluate the clinical significance of serum type N collagen levels in patients with various liver diseases, serum type IV collagen levels were measured by one-step sandwich enzyme immunoassay using monoclonal antibodies in 80 patients from December 1993 to December 1994 at Chung Nam National University Hospital. The results were as follows : 1. Mean age of patients was 45 years. Men was 2.1 times more than women. 2. Compared to 15 normal controls(159.9±34.0 ng/ml), serum type IV collagens were significantly elevated in patients with chronic hepatitis (254.5±158.0 ng/ml), liver cirrhosis(281.0±195.7 ng/ml) and hepatocellular carcinoma(420.5±241.4 ng/ml) (p<0.005). 3. Serum type IV collagen levels were increased without significance in patients with alcholic liver cirrhosis(331.6±244.5 ng/ml) compared to non-alcholic cirrhosis(230.4±117.8 ng/ml. p>0.05). 4. The serum levels of type IV collagen were not correlated with the levels of alanine amino-trnasferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST) and alkaline phosphatase(ALP). The results suggest that the serum type IV collagen levels correlate well with the degree of progression of chronic liver diseases. Therefore the measurement of serum type IV collagen is relatively simple and useful method to reflect the progression of chronic liver diseases.

        Rapid urbanization that third world has experienced during the past two decades has brought about a large labor force which originated from rural Sector. Under these background, there emerged a paradigm of the economic structure of the third world cities in dualistic terms such as the formal-informal sector. Urban informal sector is recognized for its importance of constituting urban economy along with the formal sector within the economic structure of the third world. In Korea, this sector is known to account for a great portion of the society. One of the most visible and important occupation of the informal sector is hawker. The purpose of this paper is to attempt to suggest policies towards hawkers by analyzing the formation and transformation of them running business at Chilsung market in Taegu City.
