Of all the various types of tea that are available, Pu-erh tea has attracted much attention because of its healthpromoting effects. The objective of this study was to investigate the physicochemical and antioxidant properties of two types of Pu-erh tea, Gushu Pu-erh and typical Pu-erh, extracted at 80 and 100℃, respectively. The Gushu Pu-erh extracts showed lower pH but higher antioxidant potential at both the temperatures, as compared to the typical Pu-erh. The mineral content of the tea extracts was greater at 100℃ than at 80℃. Among the seven categories of the flavor compounds that were detected, the peak area of esters was the highest in the Gushu Pu-erh extracts. The type of tea and the extraction temperature significantly affected the physicochemical and functional properties of these tea extracts. This study revealed that Gushu Pu-erh extracted at 100℃ for 3 min with 30 s of shaking provides better results in terms of the antioxidant potential and mineral content.

<P>We demonstrate spin-cast ultrathin poly(vinylidene fluoride-<I>co</I>-trifluoroethylene), P(VDF-TrFE), films on flexible and transparent substrates. Importantly, the PEDOT:PSS electrode allowed for the superior piezoresponse value (17.14 ± 2.37 pm V<SUP>−1</SUP>) and the low coercive voltage (1.76 ± 0.79 V) of the 20 nm thick P(VDF-TrFE) films. The use of PEDOT:PSS allows for the coherent interface between PEDOT:PSS and P(VDF-TrFE), the strong adhesion at the interface and no interfacial interaction when compared to that of indium–tin oxide (ITO).</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>We have successfully fabricated spin-coated ultrathin poly(vinylidene fluoride-<I>co</I>-trifluoroethylene) films on flexible, transparent and conductive substrates for future plastic electronics. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c0jm03533e'> </P>

<P> <I>Objective</I>. Direct stimulation of retinal ganglion cells in degenerate retinas by implanting epi-retinal prostheses is a recognized strategy for restoration of visual perception in patients with retinitis pigmentosa or age-related macular degeneration. Elucidating the best stimulus-response paradigms in the laboratory using multielectrode arrays (MEA) is complicated by the fact that the short-latency spikes (within 10 ms) elicited by direct retinal ganglion cell (RGC) stimulation are obscured by the stimulus artifact which is generated by the electrical stimulator. <I>Approach</I>. We developed an artifact subtraction algorithm based on topographic prominence discrimination, wherein the duration of prominences within the stimulus artifact is used as a strategy for identifying the artifact for subtraction and clarifying the obfuscated spikes which are then quantified using standard thresholding. <I>Main results</I>. We found that the prominence discrimination based filters perform creditably in simulation conditions by successfully isolating randomly inserted spikes in the presence of simple and even complex residual artifacts. We also show that the algorithm successfully isolated short-latency spikes in an MEA-based recording from degenerate mouse retinas, where the amplitude and frequency characteristics of the stimulus artifact vary according to the distance of the recording electrode from the stimulating electrode. By ROC analysis of false positive and false negative first spike detection rates in a dataset of one hundred and eight RGCs from four retinal patches, we found that the performance of our algorithm is comparable to that of a generally-used artifact subtraction filter algorithm which uses a strategy of local polynomial approximation (SALPA). <I>Significance</I>. We conclude that the application of topographic prominence discrimination is a valid and useful method for subtraction of stimulation artifacts with variable amplitudes and shapes. We propose that our algorithm may be used as stand-alone or supplementary to other artifact subtraction algorithms like SALPA.</P>

In this paper, we designed sandwich type pressure regulator for air pressure control system. As a result of research, we obtained several important conclusion. First, we decided theory of popper valve and relief valve which are used in sandwich type pressure regulator, and then designed prototype of pressure regulator. Second, we organized circuit diagram of dual pressure regulator of air pressure control system.

항공 추진에 사용되는 개발 엔진의 성능을 검증하기 위해서 비행 환경을 모의할 수 있는 시험설비가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 비행 환경 중 저온 상태에서 개발 엔진의 성능을 검증할 수 있는 저온조건 비행환경모의 시험설비 방안에 대해 연구하였다. In order to verify the performance of the development engine used for aviation propulsion, a test facility that can simulate the flight environment is required. In this paper, a study was conducted on a test facility for a low-temperature flight environment simulation that can verify the performance on the developed engine in low-temperature condition.
