Each Local public heal public health service center is in difficult situation on programing and performing of local public health service. The purpose of research is to inquire of the present state of local public health service and search long-term developmental methods. The first, in order to accomplish this purpose, I distributed questionnaires to Korean medical doctors, who are worked in public health service center and researched that. The second, based on these findings, I proposed planning for upcoming project for activating local public health service on Korean medicine.
한·앙골라 관계 전망 - 수교 30주년 및 새로운 30년을 위해 -

This year marks 30th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between the Republic of Korea and Angola. Geographically, two countries are located far apart, but both have experienced a sad history of colonization and civil war, which makes them sympathize each other, overcoming the physical distance. Angola, even after achieving independence after 400 years of Portuguese rule in 1975, had went through 27 years of civil war. As a result, most of the country was annihilated. The Dos Santos Administration, inaugurated in 2002 after the civil war, decided to take a pragmatic diplomacy to rebuild the country based on the vast natural resources such as petroleum and diamond. This strategy made Angola enjoy rapid economic development until mid-2010. Nevertheless, with the downfall of the oil price since mid-2010, Angola has suffered years of economic recession. Recently, with the end of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of oil price due to the Russia-Ukraine war, its economy is slowly being recovered. The Lourenco administration which started in 2017 after 40 years of Dos Santos’ rule, has actively pursued anti-corruption, economic diversification, and privatization campaign. At the same time, the new administration has put much effort to become a regional power by chairing at various regional and international organizations. Since the establishment of the diplomatic relationship in 1992, the Republic of Korea and Angola has developed its bilateral ties in all areas including political, economic, and trade. The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Angola has been executing numerous economic cooperation projects to contribute to the development of Angola. Also, the Embassy hosted many cultural event to spread the so-called “K-Wave”. Especially, as the Korean government is planning to host “Korea-Africa Summit” in 2024, we expect both countries to further develop its bilateral relationship in reciprocical and future-oriented way.

This paper presents a study on the performance of NASA Rotor 37 with the casing grooves based on three-dimensional numerical analysis. Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved on a hexahedral grid with the shear stress transport model as a turbulence closure model. The governing equations are discretized by a finite volume method. The validation of the numerical results is performed through experimental data for the total pressure ratio and the adiabatic efficiency. The investigation for an axial compressor with a smooth casing and the casing grooves is carried out to compare the performance parameters, for example, surge margin and efficiency, etc. The surge margin is improved in the case of the casing grooves while remarkable improvement of the efficiency is not produced. The result shows that the casing groove is beneficial to expand the operating range of NASA Rotor 37.

Performance characteristics of a transonic axial compressor with NASA Rotor 37, such as stall margin and adiabatic efficiency, are numerically investigated for various shapes of the circumferential casing grooves. Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with the shear stress model are discretized by finite volume approximations and solved on hexahedral grids. The numerical results are validated and show good agreements with experimental results for pressure ratio and adiabatic efficiency. Performances of the smooth casing and the three different cases are evaluated and compared to investigate the effects of various grooves. It is found that the change of the groove shape results in significant effect on stall margin and adiabatic efficiency.
